Sometimes these corporate automotive stores can be sketchy. They always seem to try to get deep in your pocket. Of course the management and employees can make all the difference. Took a 100k mile car in thinking it needed brakes. They could have scammed me out of brake job. They didn’t and were completely transparent of the condition of the pads. Plus checked the oil and it was also in good shape. They did do my state inspection in record time and Didn’t try to sell me some useless items. I will give them my oil change and brake job business going forward.

I stopped by this location on Thursday last minute to get an inspection done on 2016 Ducati 1299, and the customer service was excellent. I pulled up to the garage and a service tech came right over to see what I needed help with, they had me in/out in less than 20mis. I will for sure go back for service on my car and truck.

Great customer service very quick and friendly

Great service, this was the second time I came in, had my struts and shocks replaced, went in around 3 thought I would have to leave the vehicle overnight but they were able to finish before the store closed! They even gave us a ride back home so we didnt have to wait at the store. Ceasar was friendly and helpful and felt like I was talking to my own friend. Reasonable prices compared to other shops. Would highly recommend this place!

I went here for vehicle indpection and it was quick. They completed it and 20 minute. Staff is friendly, service is excellent and honest, and prices are great.

Caesar from Brake Plus did a great job in explaining what was the problem by demonstrating me in the workshop. To resolve my car issues, I had to change front and back wheel bearings on passenger side of the car, get new break pads on back side and get wheel alignment in the end. Caesar worked with me to come to an agreeable price. He also provided drop and pick up service to ensure I didnt have to wait while they work on the car. Ask for Caesar when you visit Brake Plus.

I brought my moped in to the plano location for a vehicle inspection. The whole team was busy and all made time for everyone. Caesar was the main gentleman that helped me out and he went above and beyond to make sure everything went smooth for me. I have been to this location twice. The first time, it was a nice experience though I did not get much done apart from oil change and small brake repairs. It has been couple months now since I went there for the second time and I really regret my decision. I had taken the car (2012 Civic) for an oil change and regular maintenance. The technician evaluated the vehicle and showed me that the rear shocks were leaking and needed replacement. The front struts also were worn but did not need urgent repairs. However, he offered a promotion wherein I just needed to buy the rear shocks and they would give the front struts for free. This wasnt cheap though as I still paid around $850 for the whole thing. This is where I learnt my lesson. If somethings not urgent or really necessary, NEVER get it done just for the sake of promotion etc. My car absolutely had no issues in terms of any suspension noise, squeaking etc. But, after they replaced it and I drove back home, I realized squeaking coming from the front. Took it back multiple times. They tried many different things (lubricating, replacing strut mounts etc.), nothing worked out. They just couldnt figure out what was causing the squeak. Finally, the technician just said to me to live with it and there is nothing else he could do. He could try to investigate further, but would charge me for it!! I understand that suspension / tire squeaks etc. can be difficult to identify. But, my expectation was simple. If you have created something that wasnt there before, you need to fix it whatever it takes. Surprised that a repair shop specialized in shocks / brakes cannot identify or fix the issue they created even when they can clearly hear the noise while driving. As a result, I paid quite a lot, got a problem that wasnt there before and now stuck with it. I do not want to fully blame them as it seemed that they tried their best to resolve. It just needs more expertise I guess. If you need expertise / quality and dont mind higher cost, you might want to look elsewhere. I regret my decision of having got something done when not needed. Planning to get the noise repaired by paying again elsewhere.

I had an appointment to get my tires rotated over at discount tire, but could not get into my glove box to get the wheel lock. They suggested I stop over at brakes Plus to see if they can help me out. Caesar took about 5 minutes popped it open, gave me my wheel lock and I was on my way. Exceptional service!

Simple and straight forward! The group here has worked on multiple vehicles for me and completed services of alignment, oil change, inspections, brake flush, and more. Mostly maintenance. But they are always courteous and I dont feel like they try to oversell or upsell like some other places. They will let me know if they see something I can address, explain why, and leave it at that. I keep going back and recommend.

Insurance adjuster quoted me for a few parts, Mike found out that there was additional damages and ever caught that they made a mistake with the ordered parts. This place isn’t perfect, but no place is. They changed my brakes and flushed my brake lines in a reasonable time and price. I did have to come back because they left a vent cap loose, but they corrected the situation without any hassle and owned their mistake. I will come back in the future because of their integrity.

This was by far the best car repair experience Ive ever had and I HATE going through the car repair process! This place is awesome! I was given an upfront estimate, and a full on explanation of what needed to be done. The tech worked out a plan to fit my budget! I think I found a new mechanic shop! I’m so impressed!

I was really impressed with how quickly they were able to get the front brake pads and rotors replaced on my Expedition. I called around 3:45 on a Monday expecting to be told to drop off the vehicle in the morning, but the manager told me to bring it on in right then. They had a few other cars being worked on at the time, but they figured out my problem, showed me the damage to my rotors that was causing the grinding sound, and gave me a fair price on the repairs. I was out the door in less than 1.5 hours with the problem fixed. I was also surprised to learn their mechanics do a huge variety of other services as well. I am strongly considering having them flush my rear differential fluid instead of taking it to the dealership. I just really appreciate that they will show me the work they are doing.

FANTASTIC STAFF AND WORK DONE IS PERFECT!!!! Thank you Frank and Mike for taking such good care of us. As a female it’s hard to find a mechanic that treats you with respect and not talk down. They listened to the problem and fixed it in a day. We had taken our Ford Expedition to another shop paid way too much money for them to fix every thing else and still came out with our brakes thrusting. Mike and Frank together (and I’m sure others as well) figured out the issue and immediately explained everything. I also told them i was taking a road trip and they check all fluids and made sure I was in good shape to travel. They even rotated my tires. Frank you rock. I am sooo happy I took it to them. I took my Mercedes there for an alignment and they were prompt, courteous, and have much better pricing than the dealership or other mechanics around. I am particular about where I take my car because Mercedes are very specific to work on. You really have to know what you’re doing or it will throw everything off. So I am thrilled to have found an affordable place that also does quality work.I plan on going back for a battery soon.

I have been to this shop off and on for about 5 years now. Recently, (last week) I noticed my older car was making a scraping sound and wobbling when I tried to put on the brakes in the morning. I took it into the shop and explained the situation. It was just before closing time, but they listened to my issue and asked reasonable diagnostic questions. They then asked if they could look at it first thing in the morning, and I agreed - assuming they would drive me home about 3 miles away. They promptly drove me home, and I called them the next morning to check on my car. Without going into great detail, they didnt find anything wrong and explained what the issue might have been. They then came and picked me up from my home even though they did not charge me because no work had been done. In addition, they took me to the shop and showed me my brakes and pads and explained why they didnt believe there was a problem. Im not sure what more I could have asked from them. They did great.

These guys are great at what they do, and they do it in such a way that you have a great experience when taking your car in for any repairs.

When they were checking the computer for my check engine code, he noticed and issue and let me know straight away after the agreed upon brake replacements wed talked about when I initially brought the car in. When I went to this shop for tire pressure check the two young men on duty had to finished work,ready to leave . However, one of them offered to stay behind and check and fill up my tires. Im new to the DFW area and dont know any mechanics around the area, just the other day my car broke down in the middle of the road on Windhaven, this being the closest shop I had my car towed there. I was met with Anthony, who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and set realistic expectations on what to expect in price, but he let me know he would have a quote for me within 15 minutes, being in times Covid, their lobby was closed, he took down my number and within 15 minutes i had a text with pictures explaining the cost and damage from Anthony. We set a price and repairs, he gave me a time when the car would be ready, a couple days later the car was ready on time and to be excitement... he was able to lower the price by a considerate amount!!! Overall it couldnt have gone any better with this place, 10/10, I now have my mechanic in the area lol.

I was referred to brakes plus by discount tire next door who i always trust because of their great customer service. I called them regarding an airflow sensor in my car malfunctioning and engine light on. It was a Saturday morning and they ran diagnostics to confirm the issue. They provided me with a shuttleRide home and called me really promptly to confirm the issue and let me know of all the charges. Their quote was just a bit under other places or comparable. But their customer service put it over the top. They had it ready within the time they quoted me. I also looked up coupons on their website and they allowed me to use more than one to bring in my price $40.00 off. Every little bit counts! Their warranty on parts and labor are great. I would definitely recommend them and i would visit them also if any other issues occur. You can sense the trust in their work.

I made an appointment for Saturday morning with the manager of the store. Arrive 15 minutes early and when they opened I’m greeted by the manager who proceeded to sign me in and asked if I would be waiting for the vehicle. I told him yes and I sat there patiently for approximately an hour before I went around back and saw they were not even working on my car. The tech told me that he was told that it was going to be left there all day. Needless to say I didn’t have the time to waste so I went back around and ask for my car back. The manager did not seem to care and didn’t offer an apology of any sort. I will never do business here again. New management needed for sure.

Fast service, and very competitive prices. I had one issue after leaving. I went the next day, and was taken care of in a timely manner. I did request to speak with the manager at the location regarding my issue. He never took the time to come out of the office and speak with me, which I thought was odd The employee Keith was very helpful, and I would recommend this location because of his customer service.
