Pre-sale service top notch. HOWEVER, we are not happy about their post-sale service. Service should not stop when a sale is completed. We traded in our Kia Soul 2020 for a Dodge Caravan 2019 last month. We have STILL NOT received our new vehicle plates. On top of that our previous finance company keeps bugging us with a balance due stating that Hertz did not pay the entire portion yet when we traded vehicles. This can have such a negative impact on our credit score. Multiple calls and emails to Hertz are left unanswered. Beware.

Purchased a 2018 model in May of this year. I have STILL NOT received my vehicle plates and got hit with a balance due by my previous finance company stating that Hertz did not pay the entire portion due when I traded vehicles. Im on my 3rd paper tag, which is due to expire in less than 2 weeks. Ive called several times and am always told its on the MVD. Yet my neighbor AND a close friend both purchased cars well after me and have received their plates.Secondly, this car has left me AND MY CHILDREN stranded 4 times now. Today marks the fourth time being stranded in four months. The first time I had the car towed to a local Chrysler dealership, was told they couldnt find any issues, but charged the batteries and then charged me $300 to replace a Start/Stop sensor. The second time it happened, I was near a Firestone. I walked over to help, and a guy told me the battery cables were loose. He tightened them and pushed a few buttons on my key fog and the vehicle started. The third time I ended up stranded, my husband was able to come assist, and we had both batteries in the vehicle replaced, professionally. Another $300.Here we are today, taking my son to a doctors appointment, and my car will not start again. The windshield wipers are going crazy and the car will not start. The keys are nowhere near the car.I contacted Hertz (I have called them SEVERAL TIMES). I was transferred to Randy. He told me I only have a Power Train warranty, and because I did not buy an extended warranty, theres nothing he can do about it.So here we are, 4 months in and 4 vehicle breakdowns later; plus the title is still not in my name and I have not received my plates, and all they want to do is have a manger call me back....who Im certain will NOT call back, and if he/she does, itll be with more typical trash excuses from a dealership.

I have bought multiple vehicles with Hertz in Texas and had amazing service, until dealing with this location. Came in on Saturday and worked with the Chris as the sales man. He was very kind and showed us everything we wanted to see. We came in with our 3 kids to make sure the car we were looking at would be a good fit for us. We left that day and let them know we would be back the next day without the whiny kids to complete the deal. We called the next day to confirm some details of our deal and the finance manager we worked with the night before was off so we spoke with Derek. Derek said he would call us back after making a call to confirm part of our deal. He never called back. The next day I called him and was told he would be calling me back in just a minute. Well here we are several hours later with no call back. Im guessing that means they dont want our business. Were moving on to a different location. Hopefully the Scottsdale location has better customer service.

*Up date: 7/11/2020 it has been 2 months and counting and Hertz still will not pay off my CAR LOAN. THEY WILL NOT CONTACT ME OR GIVE ME AN ANSWER! Is this how you treat a customer? Seems consistent with all the BBB complaints. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone!I have an active complaint with the BBB and I will post this review on all the hertz dealership until this is resolved.** I want my outstanding car loan paid off plus reimbursement for the hundreds of dollars of interest iv been forced to pay.

My husband and I went into this location after having a horrible experience at Hertz Scottsdale and were met by Jason. We did not share our bad experience with Jason to have a fresh start and see how the customer service experience changed from location to location. We were more than pleased with his customer service! He showed us the different options they had and also was very good at showing us cars that were within the price range we were trying to stay in. He was very friendly and attentive to our needs and making sure we were satisfied. Total different experience from our previous Hertz visit (at another location). We walked out with a new car and very satisfied with the purchase and customer service.

EDIT: I got ahold of the title company and someone was able to turn around and got it resolved in 24 hours. 3 months of waiting and back and forth with the dealership, and the title company resolved the issue in 24 hours....It’s been 3 months since i purchased a vehicle from this location and the title is still in the dealerships name, the original lien is still on the title, and i’m paying on the loan. To top it all off, the dealership keeps claiming, “it’s the MVD’s fault”, despite the fact that i have called numerous time and have been told by the MVD that there is nothing in their system about a title transfer, and minimal delays in processing. Management keeps stalling, with no tangible action done, and i’m left high and dry. Avoid this dealership.

I have worked at many car dealerships and know what goes down. This is honestly by far the BEST car buying experience ever. I recommend Logan! He helped me and my husband get into a 2018 Nissan Rogue. He was very patient and thoughtful when listening to our needs. We brought our 9 month old baby with us and even when he got fussy and moving car seats from different cars to test drive Logan was the nicest and understanding. The finance guy kept it real and helped us get to the payment we felt comfortable with. Overall they’re we’re all great and no pressure at all. It feels like you’re family when you walk in. :)

Went in on Saturday afternoon, 06/01/19 to look at some of the cars on the lot. I arrived and was greeted by Logan. I advised Logan I was there to look, and may/may not purchase a car today. Logan understood and still provided excellent service. We test drove a few cars, and I ended up with a 2017 Yaris. Everything went well, no pushiness, no tricks, just a very simple deal. Will come back again when its time for another car. Thanks Logan!Edit to add this; On the day the paper temporary plate expired, I called down and spoke with Heather, she worked urgently to 1. get me another temporary plate, and 2. get my real plates out. She called me shortly after, advised she spoke with her manager/supervisor and confirmed they were on their way. Excellent follow up and I received my new plate a few days after.

Straight forward, no games, no-nonsense purchase process. Unique in Phoenix, as I will discuss below...Salesman - David Espinoza was very helpful, not pushy and I did not feel like he was showing me stuff outside of my budget and parameters. Excellent! Was going to pay cash... No problem or pressure to finance... No higher price since I wasnt going to finance (had this happen at another dealership...) Since the process was no pressure in that way, I decided to have them look at financing for me and they got me an awesome deal that made it worth it to finance. Finance manager, Tim Mitchell, was not pushy on the extended warranty and extra stuff. Just informative and the decision was mine...So I bought it. You push me, Im not buying. You leave the decision to me and I probably will buy... And I did.So, let me tell you that I spent several days looking at cars at many dealerships in Phoenix looking for a reliable college car for my son. I started at Hertz and then thought I would go look at online ads at dealerships just to make sure what else was out there. At every other dealership I looked in Phoenix... EVERY SINGLE ONE... Let me tell you, I received a superb education in the art of deceptive sales practices! Everything from phantom / bait cars that were not there upon paying 60.00 round trip Uber rides to one dealership, another dealership that advertises a great price for all their used cars but then adds 3500.00 in ridiculous fees for some kind of locator app ($1600.00), which I can get for free, a $1000.00 certified fee, which should have been included in the price of the car, fees for nitrogen filled tires, fees for various other items that took a 12,500 car to almost 19,000 out the door. Many other issues with deceptive sales people and processes... Complete rip off artists.I did not experience any of this at Hertz. Just straight forward sales process, test drove any car we wanted to legitimately look at, bought what we wanted, could not be happier. My son will now have a reliable and safe car to go to college in, and I am thankful. I will fly to Phoenix from Texas to buy my next car. This is the place to do business, folks.

As a first time car buyer I was having a really difficult time finding a dealership that could get me into the right car for the right price. However, I had absolutely no issues getting a car here at Hertz. The manager Tim Mitchell was super helpful and transparent throughout the entire deal. Thanks to him I did not have to settle and was able to buy the car that I really wanted with an affordable payment! I honestly recommend this shop to any first time buyers or really anyone looking to get a good deal on a car. I will definitely be coming back for my next car purchase!

Initially greeted by Allen at the Camelback location. He left me to look around which was fine. When I had questions the other 3 staff sat around talking amongst each other as if I wasn’t even there for a good 10 minutes and not 1 word. Not even hello. I looked for other locations and walked out. The 1 star is they had ok inventory. But the customer service was horrible.

If less than one star was possible, I would have assigned that - Do not buy a car from this location!!!There is a serious lack of customer service. I have called 7 times and left 4 detailed voicemails over 14 days to resolve a situation. I explained what was needed and left my contact info each time. Save your self the headache and buy from a “real” dealer.

May 2018 - Chevy Sonic, in, but not out. Had to listen to Busness Manage Life Story! For 45 Min. So now windshield wiper fluid never worked runs out on the ground, and dashboard lights keep going on and off! But thats not covered by 12 month warranty.! Still paying thou! Good Luck!!

Terrible customer service. Took several hours to process paperwork. Vehicle wasnt washed or fueled prior to leaving lot. Found body damage while washing vehicle, after purchase. Windshild cracked. Returned vehicle 3 days after purchase and was informed it will take 6-8 weeks to receive down payment refund, which was paid cash!

Bought a car in january....tried to get help from chris, mark and candice....so far no help in getting clarification on getting my license plate. Keep getting same answer, it has to be dmvs fault....i called them and they never received any information.from hertz and said it shouldn’t take more than 45 days to get tags. Going on 6 months with temp tags....i was told i was going to receive a call from mark, manager, to my surprise i didnt.

The best! I am so happy. I tried to buy from the Scottsdale Hertz and they could not be bothered to talk and actually hung up on me. I called the Phoenix store and they were excellent. They made us comfortable, everything was great and the staff were no less than amazing. I drove 400 miles roundtrip and it was worth every bit of time and effort for the treatment and care I received.

I had a good experience Allen was great and very patient when it came to purchasing my car. My issue was with trying to cancel my extended warranty and the general manager Prakash (not sure how to spell his name). He is not very helpful and will not actually address any issue you have unless you are in the office. He never returns a call and lied about sending a confirmation email to me, he literally pretended to type and send me an email, which miraculously I never received. I had spoken to corporate prior to physically going into the location because he never returned my calls. They told me he had never contacted them and my information had not been submitted. I had been back and forth with this location to resolve this issue for some time. They said it would take up to 6 weeks to refund the amount. Once I completed the form Again and sent it to hertz and Fidelity myself it only took 2 weeks to receive the funds back. The only pleasant part was the salesman.

Left this dealer, happy. If you want to buy a car and want to be left in peace while you shop, then this is the place. First off, John Fliss, is a great Hertz representative. He ensures that you are happy with what you are getting and even works toward getting you the best deal. And, I do not mean, that he goes to the back and asks his manager a million times how to settle the deal. I mean, he sits down with YOU and asks YOU what YOU want. It was great.

Worst experience at a dealership. The manager is the most disrespectful person Ive met!While I was in the restroom, I heard him make a specific comment (I dont want to mention the exact quote). I didnt think anything of it at first, until I saw 2 black gentlemen walking up to the building. I then realized it was an extremely innapropriate comment. I assume he didnt know I could hear him from the restroom.Then, as I am sitting at the sales persons desk, he would interrupt my salesman every time he would try to answer any of my questions. The manager would not allow him to talk and it was very frustrating. I couldnt tell if I was supposed to be sitting at his desk or not.I couldnt stand the way he would talk down to his employees. Especially in front of customers!I could tell the sales person was frustrated as well.I wont even get into his attitude towards a customer on the phone and how it escalated after he hung up.I do love the prices at hertz but I will not buy from this location as long as he is the manager. Hopefully the other locations have much better managers!

Had a very bad experience at another dealership and lost time and money trying to get a deal done. Went to Hertz car sales on Camelback and the management went over and beyond anyone expectations. The car I was looking to purchase had just been sold because my other dealership was too slow and and tried to make extra money on me. Hertz on Camelback was told of the my dilemma and the management got right to work. Within an hour I was told a simular car was coming in and he made it happened. The next day i made a deal at a reduced price and got the vehicle at a price unbelievable. I would highly recommend this dealer. One would be insane to go anywhere else. This experience was well worth it and like no other..Got the right financing and very pleasant staff who knows customer satisfaction and customer service.. PLEASE VISIT AND SEE FOR YOURSELF

Very straightforward, knowledgable, helpful and fast. They dont work off of commission so the sales associates dont bother with the run around, and the fact that all their vehicles are certified is an amazing relief. And in terms of staff, Ricky is awesome, friendly, helpful, and he believes in one he does. Highly recommend going this route if you dont mind that they dont sell manual transmission vehicles.

I recently purchased a Hyundai Elantra with an extended warranty from Hertz in Phoenix. After I took the car home, I realized that there was damage to the front wheel well. When I called the dealership about this problem, Justin said I should call a service center to see if the warranty would cover the damage.When I called a Hyundai service center, they said the warranty wouldn’t cover it, and I would have to pay for the repairs myself. When I contacted Hertz about this problem, Jeff, Justin, and Tim were great in helping me resolve this issue. Since the warranty wouldn’t cover the damage, Hertz offered to take care of the repair costs.At first, I was upset at Hertz for selling me a warranty that wouldn’t cover the damage on my car, but I really appreciate that Jeff and Tim worked so quickly at resolving this issue. They turned a potentially bad experience into a positive one. The next time I need a new car, I’ll definitely go to Hertz on Camelback.

Buying a car here a fast, easy painless experience. I went to a local dealer and looked at the car I wanted, a 2013 white Altima. Then I went on line with Hertz to find one with the options that I wanted. Called John and went to the lot, was out in an hour. All three of the salesmen were great. I the car was even more beautiful that I thought, the interior wax black with silver trim, lovely with the pearl white exterior.Couldnt have been more happy, I was in a hurry because my car had been totaled on Sat night and I had a new car by Mon afternoon. My family has bought from Hertz in Cal and I have before as well, they are good cars for a decent price and the service is great.

Actually quite pleased with the purchase process and the vehicle that I ultimately purchased. Follow up customer service was atrocious!! First, took over two months to get plates (they told me it would take a little longer but two months, … Secondly, I came in the day after purchase to cancel the warranty contract (which I didnt need), completed the paper work and sent it in to warranty company myself. Ten days later I received confirmation from warranty company that warranty was cancelled and now 2 1/2 months later I am still waiting for the credit to appear on my loan statement. I have called several times and promised well check and call you back but never a return call. I was told it was a Corporate issue of being backed up with paperwork. Crazy, a fortune 500 company playing games like this with customers. Very disappointed!!

This place is the model of true customer service, and I am someone who usually HATES dealing with car salesmen. After many months of horrible experiences searching for a used car at dealers around the valley, we found Hertz. We were extremely pleased with the prices that were set below blue book value, the no haggle experience and the customer service. Allen Lowe was a great salesperson to work with and Robert Scholler the manager also helped us out. We will only buy cars from Hertz in the future. We were happy that the sales person treated us respectfully and did not try to haggle and play the typical sleazy used care salesman type games. Our car did not have two keys, and so they sent out a mobile locksmith, direct to our door, to provide us with a free key, (which would have been pretty pricey). The car has low mileage, is in excellent condition and fun to drive. We had it inspected afterwards and everything is in perfect condition! The price was great and the mileage is fabulous. We will be back! Thanks!!

My wife and I just bought a 2014 Nissan Sentra from this location and it was definitely the best car buying experience either of us has had yet. We called in to ask about the availability of the car and Dennis told us it was available but did not pressure us into anything. When we went in the next day we met with John who was very honest and welcoming without pressuring us into anything. We took a quick test drive (on our own) and got an out-the-door price 5 minutes later. We decided to sleep on it and we were back the next day to finalize payment. Bob was the finance guy who walked us through everything involved with financing the car and gave us the option of a warranty but again left the decision entirely up to us. Whole thing took less than 2 hours and we would definitely recommend this location to any interested buyer.

I recently purchased a vehicle from this location. It was a pleasant and smooth process starting with the initial phone call that morning to do some inquiring. I spoke with John Fliss and it was all customer service from there. I was graciously greeted by John upon my arrival at the dealership and was shown several vehicles after he inquired what type of car I was looking for. I was allowed to drive them, alone, to truly experience the car, my questions were answered, no matter how many I asked, and I never felt pressured. Dale was very accomodating regarding the financing portion and also answered my many questions without ever displaying annoyance. I would highly recommend that you visit this location if you are in the market for a quality used vehicle.

UPDATE: I saw the reply from someone at Hertz below. Its the same thing Ive been hearing for over 4 months now. I also noticed that they didnt respond to my criticism of their lack of service after the sale.Hmmmm.... interesting. Cant refute it because you know its true.But be honest now, how difficult is it to cut a check and drop it in the mail? Seriously. If the shoe was on the other foot and I owed Hertz more than $1600, Im pretty sure theyd have someone calling me multiple times a day, pounding on my door, calling anyone with the same last name, harassing my employer and any other underhanded tactic to get their money. Unfortunately for me, Im a nobody Joe Schmoe. Theyll give me my money back only when they damn well feel like it. Like I mentioned before, be VERY careful dealing with these people.The buying process was smooth. The after sales customer service is not good. At. All.I would say it was a 4 star rating on the BUYING experience. The problems reside AFTER the sale. It seems that once you walk out the door, you become a non-person to them. Pro-tip, whatever you do, dont buy an extended warranty from Hertz. Research research research and purchase from an outside company.Shortly after I had purchased the 2016 Prius, I had emailed a rather simple question, when was the car last serviced, to the salesman and never got a response. Oh well, I figured Id take the safe side and once the oil started to lose the new oil look on the dipstick, Ill change it even if its too soon.Fast forward to Jan 2019. I drove the car for approximately 18 months and decided I wanted/needed something a little larger. I wouldve bought the next car from Hertz but they do not carry what I wanted so I purchased from another local dealer and traded in the 2016 Prius. I immediately went to Hertz and spoke with Allen, the same salesman I bought the car from and filled out a form to cancel the 60 mo/100,000 mile extended warranty on the Prius and requested a pro-rated refund. He filled it out, faxed it in on Jan 26, 2019. The paperwork said expect 3-4 weeks for a refund.IN MY FREAKING DREAMS.Here we are July 9, 2019, 24 weeks and counting, and I STILL DONT EVEN KNOW WHEN TO EXPECT IT. This is no insignificant amount, it is well over $1600. I emailed my salesman again in April to see what was going on. No response. I then reached out to Hertz on Twitter. They responded but directed me to the GM of the location I purchased from and gave me his contact info. I did get in touch with Tim the GM eventually and he claimed they were backed up on the paperwork but would let me know when something was definite. He offered to pay for the next oil change on my current car but I had to use PepBoys. Ive got nothing against them but theyre not my preferred service shop. I agreed to the offer and had my current car serviced on 5/15/19.I reached out to Tim again on 5/29/19 through text message, no response. (gotta love iPhones because I KNOW he read it)I then heard from someone at a regional office on June 6, 2019. Derek Zuver, was at least able to tell me the exact amount of the refund expected. Fast forward 4 weeks, numerous emails and phone calls and STILL NO MONEY.Last week I heard from someone supposedly at their corporate headquarters. Left me a message stating exactly the same information I had heard a month earlier from Derek. The amount, and were waiting for a check to be cut yada yada yada..... bull***t.Im not sure what my next steps are short of getting an outside consumer protection agency involved. AZ State Atty General perhaps? National Automobile Dealers Association? One of the consumer reporters from a local news channel? Ill be contacting everyone I can think of to try and shake my money loose.

Unless you wanna buy a broken down car and be treated with total disrespect and get yelled at when you tell them they sold you a broken down car don’t go hereAnd also we bought a warranty that would give us a rental car when our car was being fixed and they just said oh we don’t have any rental cars available. So I had to pay for Uber’s to work and everywhere I went for a weekWorse experience of my life.And when I went to pick up my car some Indian guy with a turban yelled at my boyfriend and drove off because my boyfriend asked why they didn’t provide a me with a rental car when I’m my agreement it says they have to and he said we didn’t make the deal with you so shut up and he cursed my boyfriend out and left very unprofessional.

Worst dealership in the city. Staff is completely unresponsive. I bought nissan sentra from this place. Door was damaged. My license plate has not come in almost 3 months. I called them 10 times, but they dint seem to care. I would recommend never to go there if you want save yourself from hassle.

First and foremost, buying a car can always be either a great experience or a bad one. Walking into this lot was welcoming. Salesman were very busy but were quick to greet me and my girfriend. We looked at several vehicles while we waited for our salesman. Another sales member walked us through the lot, gave us pricing and allowed us to see vehicle interiors. Our salesman then joined us and proceeded to make suggestions based on our choices. He was quick to steer us to the best deal for us on the lot. We were allowed to test drive our vehicle at our own comfort without the salesman joining us or pressuring us. Financial approval was fast and eazy. Our salesman and finance manager did a great job at getting us our desired payment, with the best rate and including gap insurance and bumper to bumper warranty. I highly recommend Capital One Auto loan. Price was the best Ive seen anywhere for our vehicle. There was no hassle and staff were very patient. Even our insurance rate was the lowest thanks to our salesman. We drove off the lot that night all within a 2 hour process. We did have to go back a couple of days later for a small tire issue but instead, the store manager not only greeted us in a very welcoming manner, he proceeded to send us to a shop and got brand new tires for our vehicle all around. They really went out of their way to help us out. I definitely recommend them, and will definitely be doing business with them again God willing on our next purchase. Weve financed before and leaving the dealer has always left a somewhat sour experience. For the first time, were happy to say, we are happy with our purchase, and look forward to many more. I dont usually hype reviews unless I really feel that way about them. Let me say, this is one of those rare occasions. Thanks Hertz of Camelback. As its been said by many before me, the buying experience here is great. No sales pitch, friendly staff, and above and beyond service. Ricky helped us test drive a few different cars before we settled on a Chevy Impala. We did however notice some discoloration on the passenger side door but Ricky said hed have it taken care of. The following day we returned to find the car washed and the interior detailed. Ricky had them steam clean the discoloration (which was wax). Overall, we were very satisfied with our buying experience at Hertz.

If I could rate less than one star I would. I left feeling okay but as of today I see on my credit bureau report that 3 unauthorized hard inquiries were done that day. My sales people were Justin Creasy and Timothy Mitchell.I went in on May 5th, 2018 to buy my first car. I entered with a pre approved letter from capital one and stated specifically to only run my credit through capital one, they were the only bank I want to do business with and with my credit I already knew I would be approved by them. I was advised by Justin that he would do so and that will actually make the process much easier on them. Well everything went smoothly after that and I left feeling good about the transaction that took place. They were both very nice gentleman to speak with. However, to my surprise I get a notice in the mail of denied credit by TD Auto. I then go on to credit karma and see 4 new hard inquiries altogether from May 5th, 2018. (One of which being capital one). Im absolutely livid seeing as how this is exactly what I wanted to avoid, hence the pre approved later. And Justin told me that Capital one is who they would go through and I was not advised of any other attempts with any other banks.Why is that my loan went through perfectly fine with capital one, yet your employees at this location still tried to run it through other banks? That is specifically what I asked them not to do. I feel blatantly lied too and to be honest, scammed. That looks as if you wanted to get it approved through something that benefits you and would try to sweet talk me into going with another bank had I actually been approved. I will be contacting your office as soon as possible. I will also be reporting this to the better business bureau and writing as many reviews as I can for your company unless this can be reversed. Im completely disappointed in your company as well as with Justin and Timothy who neglected to mention any of this to me or even ask my permission. I take my credit very seriously and this shady practice will not go unnoticed. If anyone from the company would like to reach out to me regarding this issue I would very much appreciate that.

I inquired online about a car, and the salesman bombarded me with emails informing me that if I had any questions he would answer them for me. I replied to his email, and his reply back was extremely unprofessional and rude. He refused to answer my questions via email, and he told me I could call him if I wanted to know anything. He also told me to block his calls If I wished to. His email was fill of errors, made little sense, and he could not be bothered to spell my name correctly. This is not the kind of service I expected at all!

My husband and I were looking for a car that would be more reliable and live a little longer than the car we had. We had several mediocre experiences at other dealers, and one horrid experience at Camelback Kia. We came to Hertz with a lot of apprehension, wed been jerked around a lot and we were ready to bolt if we sensed any kind of sharking going on. I cant tell you what world of a difference it was between every other place we had been. There was seriously no pressure, no hard-ball sales going on, just a kind of an attitude of hey, whatever car you guys want well get you situated kind of feeling. They werent trying to nickle-and-dime us at all. Even when we discussed adding additional coverage to our car, it was more of a gentle suggestion then a YOU MUST HAVE THIS OR ELSE. In particular, we dealt with John Fliss mostly, a very kind gentleman who assisted us in finalizing the deal. And also, despite losing money on another car we were looking at, directed us away from a car we were looking at that was having issues off the lot. Mark was the online sales manager that we had e-mail contact with, and he was also just awesome! With Camelback Kia and Bell Honda we were literally fighting to just agree on a base price. None of that here, and the cherry on top was how awesome the staff there was! I will definitely send my family and friends here if they need a car! We are very happy with our purchase and thrilled with the care that was taken with us here!

Ricky Carter, this is the man you NEED to talk to. He is completely relatable, not pushy what so ever, and made this the easiest and most comfortable car buying experience of my life. I got my incredible Hyundai Santa fe that had the lowest price and milage I could find at other Hertz, enterprise and dealership locations. The dealership couldnt even get close to the price I paid at this Hertz ($2,000 more) Even at the other no haggle, no stress locations I never felt so at home. I couldnt imagine a better car buying experience.

I went in Friday morning 8/11/17 as soon as they opened at 10 am for a Nissan Versa they had online for $8990 with 38k miles. All said and done, $10,377 with taxes and fees, just to give you an idea. I had financing approved through my credit union with a great interest rate. My letter of approval shouldve been sufficient for hertz (or a dealer) and desert schools to work out the funding internally. They dont do that here. I spoke with Prakash, and he insisted that he could beat the interest rate if I went through them..so...4 dings to my credit score later, he couldnt beat it. Great. Thanks. Prakash, while Im sure hes not a bad guy, he certainly needs to work on his tone. Its not what he says, its how he says it. I was given a bill of sale and told that they need a check and wouldnt hold the car. He spoke with my contact at the credit union and he was nippy with her. He emailed her the documents. No waiting for funding, even though through a regular dealer, it should have been fine. It was an all day process for me. Blehhhh! Silly me, thinking that things would just cruise right along. Nope, not with car buying. Dale was wonderful, I had taken a test drive in another vehicle a couple of days before. I like him, hes very straight forward and calmed me down in my frustration. They are hourly employees here, not a pressure cooker for sales, which is nice. Prices are very reasonable. Ill come back here and let you know if something is weird with the car. Seems like it will be perfectly fine. So..if youre going through your bank for financing, check on how they deal with Hertz, thats my advice. Avoid the headache I went through all day yesterday. So, 5 stars for price and Dale, minus a star for Prakash.. Good luck!
