We had a great experience with Chapman Hyundai, worked with Raffy and JP to purchase our new Santa Cruz truck, which we love by the way. Raffy was amazing the whole time, he answered all our questions and stayed in communication while we waited for the truck to arrive and let us know when it did, which was earlier than expected. He made sure we knew what to bring with us since we don’t live close to there and made sure we were comfortable the whole time and explained everything in detail to us, from purchasing it to how everything worked in our new truck. And JP was great with helping us finance it and getting the best deal we could and explained in everything in detail. I had the best purchase experience at Chapman! Shawn Miner was my sales associate whom made the sales experience great. He is very knowledgeable about the cars, no pressure sales person and worked to get the best deal for me. There were no hidden fees like at two other Hyundai dealerships. This is the second Hyundai new vehicle Ive purchased at Chapman also with Shawn since last year. I love the quality and value that Hyundai gives their customers. Chapman also has a good inventory of vehicles which others did not.
I just purchased a 2022 Hyundai Venue last week with Philip. Philip was fabulous! He is great at his job! Answered all questions and we were done in a timely manner. My car hadnt had the windows tinted yet so he told me to just contact him and let him know when we could get them tinted and we would schedule a time. He got back to me very quickly and we were able to get the windows tinted. I had my 1 year old daughter with me and we had gone on a walk just up the street to Walmart while we waited. When the car was done Philip had called and asked if I was still at the dealership and I had informed him we were not and he offered to come get us. I definitely was NOT expecting to get picked up. I really appreciated it since it was hot out and having my daughter with me. Thank you so much Philip! We will be back!
Good price, especially in this low stock market. Rafi and the finance guy were not your typical car dealership employees of the past. In and out in under 2 hours, including a fairly long test drive. Second purchase from them and both experiences well above average.

Not bad for a car dealer! 😂🤣😂. Ha! Just kidding. I have bought Hyundai cars and SUVs from this dealer for about 10 years or so and have not had an unpleasant experience with them. Their service dept has always been prompt and courteous, as has their sales dept. Im not an expert on car prices so I cant say that Ive been given the best price possible but Ive tried to get a basic idea of what a specific car sells from the Internet before going to the dealer so I dont think Ive been over priced by much, if anything.
I found Chapman Hyundai online while we were moving from Nebraska to Arizona. My car was having an issue, but due to the holiday weekend, we couldn’t get it to the NE dealer before our scheduled move to AZ. The issue continued on the drive out & I called 2 AZ dealers in Scottsdale/Phoenix to get an appointment as soon as possible. The first dealership I called, Earnhardt Hyundai in North Scottsdale, didn’t answer the service phone despite calling 5 separate times and when someone finally answered, it was a rude woman who really didn’t care about our issue. I ended up calling back one more time after speaking with Hyundai Customer Care, no answer again, but I left a message with reception asking for a call back & never received one. Needless to say, I wasn’t about to give Earnhardt my business! I called Chapman next and had a totally opposite experience. They were friendly, understanding, helpful & efficient. Setting up the appointment was very easy, checking in was easy, (everything could be done online), my service report was emailed to me as well as a follow up phone call from Joe Bartizal, my service advisor, explaining the findings & repair needed. He even went so far as to check with my N.E. dealership for my service records to make sure I didn’t double up on services. I couldn’t get the car right away, so they had a plan for me to pay online & pick the car up in the evening from sales. After having my car totaled, I came here to get a new Hyundai and I wish I could rate Chapman at more than 5 stars. I worked with Bo who went above and beyond getting me into a car that I love and was in constant communication with me even on his days off. I never felt the typical dealer pressure from anyone at the store, and Bo was willing to work with me as I navigated through insurance and was so patient throughout the whole process. These guys had my car for months and couldnt determine what the issue was with my car. It would shut off while I was driving. I even had the Service Director, Jamie in the car for a test drive and it shut off and theyre were still refusing to assist. While they had my car they would test drive it and actually add hundreds of miles to my car. During this time there were on the expressway and they hit multiple rocks and they tried to give me my car back without acknowledging the cracks in my window and the crack that went from one side to the other. Well, I brought it to their attention and they replaced it. However, they didnt apply new stickers to the window (they used the old one from the previous window) which is very unprofessional. Well, the the sensor has been falling off pretty much sense I picked up the car but, I was okay with just reaching up and sticking it to the window every time I drive. Ultimately I didnt have the time to call because, I work long hours. Well, I finally had time to call I explained what happened and Joe from Service told me they couldnt and wouldnt do ANYTHING to help me. Honestly.. this is the least they could do. I am very disappointed and I will never do business with them again. They is probably a $5 fix if that. Very dissatisfied. Ive been a loyal customer of Hyundai for years but, if this is how they treat their customer - I will never purchase from them again.
I bought a used car from William a few days ago. He was professional but also personable. He was not pushy and didnt attempt to use pressure tactics to get me to buy. I have had bad experiences buying cars in the past so I have not bought a car from a dealer in many years. After this experience with William I will keep Chapman in mind when a friend is looking for a car. Just like any dealer, there are a lot of added charges at the end. I think $500 for document prep fees is very high. They also have an added $1,200 charge for stuff like prepping the car for sale, window tint and protective wax but you can negotiate that down. All in all I give William 5 stars. If you need a car give him a chance.Edited on 4/22/2021The car only came with one key and they refused all attempts to give me a spare key. Within a month that key quit working. Since I paid for the extended warranty they told my wife to go to Peoria Nissan to figure out the problem. As it turns out the 4 year old car key was worn out and it cost me $225 to be able to drive the car that I just bought from Chapman. The warranty I bought apparently isnt a bumper to bumper warranty like I was led to believe.
I love this dealership!! They explained what they were doing to my vehicle and they washed it for me. Laura and I regret to say I didnt get my service advisers name but they were so friendly and helpful. I wont be going anywhere else. So very pleased.

I went down to Chapman Hyundai on 8/21/2021 to look at a Palisade. Prices listed on their website don’t fully show what they want to add, aka addendum pricing to MSRP. Their addendum pricing was 5k. I stated that I wouldn’t pay addendum pricing and their very nice sales guy Sam communicated this to his manager on Saturday and addendum pricing was removed. I left a 15k deposit check for pick up on the vehicle on 8/28/2021 and let them run my credit for the car purchase, and I have no issues with credit. Today, 8/27/2021, I get a call from Sam’s manager stating they will not be releasing the car to me without addendum pricing and it was not approved by him. This guy, not Sam, is not being truthful. Sam did get approval to have addendum pricing removed as my wife and I saw him go back to the main office and speak to managers to remove the addendum pricing. What we have here is a classic case of a dealership not respecting a deal and only looking for highest bidders/addendum paying customers for their vehicles. Do yourself a favor if you are looking for a vehicle - ask the dealership before visiting what is the price as opposed to their online pricing. Chapman Hyundai is dishonest and so was Sam’s Sales Manager, Steve, who called me today not honoring a deal made with a deposit.
Came in not expecting to leave with a vehicle and did the exact opposite. Left being a first time car buyer at 18 thanks to Shawn. No pressure and no manipulation and was able to help me get the car I wanted. Although I did have a concern with the car he took care of it. Great experience.

They have horrible customer service! They caused the engine to go out on my car because they never did a proper oil change meaning i paid for an oil change that was never done!! I will be contacting the better business bureau because the service is beyond horrible

I arrived in Arizona and and he made it so eazy to purchase the vehicle for my daughter. They confirmed the pick up time with me multiple times before I actually arrived to pick up my new car but when I arrived they hadn’t even started detailing it yet. Very annoyed that I had to wait an extra hour just to pick up the car that I had bought over 3 days ago.

They car buying experience alway is a drag. These guys were great. From start to finish we were out in about 3 hours. That’s with test drives and looking at various cars. I can’t speak to everyone but our sales guy didn’t start with “how much do you want your payments to be?” I hate that. It’s an amateur tactic. They are not financing. They don’t control your interest rate. That wasn’t this place. I was pretty happy and will go back.Update: Went back and got a second car. Experience was just as good.

If I could give this place a 0 star I would they put my windshield wipers back on without the springs. This would have sent my wipers flying off had used them. Not only did this place put me in danger but the safety of the people around me. They also mark that they put brake fluid in my car when I took my brake pad to get changed at another place on the same day, I was told that there was hardly any brake fluid in there. What kind of dangerous shop are you running Chapman? DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR SERVICE

1st of all I want to say that you will get all the attention you need when trying to buy a car but once you buy it then good luck in getting responses. Also I gave them 2 stars as they were able to find someone to finance me but buyer beware if you purchase gap insurance it will take about 2 months to get your money back if you refinance your car with someone that offers less expensive gap insurance so do yourself a favor and try to find with an insurance company 1st. Gap insurance is very important to have just make sure you are sticking with the company offering it to you.

I had a very good experience buying my very first car. I was dealing with Brian with all the OTD price through email and it was a smooth conversation. He got me not only the car I wanted but was able to adjust the price to meet my budget. He was amazing. Got the 2022 RED Hyundai Tucson AWD.Sam Samimi was the one who welcomed me at the dealership. Since it is my first Hyundai car, he explained every little things I should/must know like the interior and exterior features . Because I was unable to drive the car home after I signed the paperwork, I asked him if there is a courtesy car that can pick me up at home and then take me to the dealership so I can drive it home. and I got a yes. They are very accommodating.They are pro costumer!! very exceptional experience.!
Just like any other dealer they will rush you to sign that paper. Don’t let them rush you, keep calm ask questions. Look for hidden fees total out down payment your interest rate. Your pay off with and without interest. Your deduction off the MSRP from the manufacturer. I don’t trust dealer at al but these ones are not that bad.

I recently renewed my tags & to my surprise the reason I never got them was because my finance lady dropped the ball. So I called her for a resolution & unfortunately she no longer works for the company but she did give me the name to the person that would be more than happy to assist; I was totally fine with that answer. So I go up to the facility to talk with Amanda & am greeted by a gentleman & tell him my issue so I guess he called her & told her & instead of her coming out to talk to me & help me understand what happened she has him tell me to log on to ADOT website which took care of my short term issue but not my long term issue of why are the hard copy paperwork in the previous owners names & not mine & in the end Im going to have the exact same issue next year until the info is corrected. It was just poor customer service for the person that handles it & that I asked to specifically speak to refused to meet with me to resolve my issue. For this interaction only I will never do business with them again or refer anyone to them.
Was hoping for a shuttle ride home (8 mins away) while they worked in my car but never got one. Had to wait 1 1/2 hrs in the lobby.
Everyone I encountered (Kush, Joe, Richard & Laura) was very nice & friendly and made my experience a pleasant one. Fortunately I did not need the repair I thought I might need and I wasnt charged for them checking it so I was thrilled. And the coffee in the waiting area was actually good, which I cant say for ANYONE elses coffee in any type of waiting area. Also very pleased that they washed my car!
Very disappointed in the service department. Took my Genesis there for the first time to have a general maintenance check up. I was told it would take an hour or so. So I waited there. After 2 hours I reached out to the service rep to see what was going on. One half hour later I was informed my car was ready. After 2.5 hours, they had only changed the oil.... but recommended 3 other services. That would take 2 more hours. I declined and said had they told me this 2 hours sooner I would have had it done. $ 500 worth. She said..but we only have 1 tech today... what!? They lost $500 today and a future customer.
Very Unprofessional. Dealership is fully dishonest. Credit pulled and sales representative Jim refused to go over offer by phone prior to having me drive half an hour ro dealership. Exact words were “My boss is pretty sure we can do it” walked in and manager stated “No one is financing new cars right now” so unprofessional and dishonest. Dealership pulls credit without consideration of assistance. Will open BBB fraud investigations case.

Two times I was notified that my 2020 Sonata required service. Both times I called and made an appointment. Both times after arriving at the appointed time I was told I was too early to have any services done unless I wanted to pay for them. The REALLY upsetting part is both times when I called in to schedule the appointment and provided the purchase date and approximate mileage both appointments were confirmed by the service people. Must be new employees because surely anyone who knows their business wouldn’t do something as stupid as that.All I know is if my car ever needs anything other than the free oil change. They won’t see me there for it.

Worth the drive! I came from Tucson and purchased a 2021 2.5T Sante Fe from this dealership and I’m thrilled. This is a first rate outfit with a wide selection of vehicles and a staff who make things easy. It is nice to know you can trust people here and that there are still good people out there. I felt confident I was getting an outstanding deal on my trade and new vehicle price, based on weeks of prior research. I was treated very well by everyone who helped me, including Antuan, Brian, Mike, and Sean. I am picky when it comes to cars and they encouraged me to test drive multiple cars, which I did (more than once), and I loved having the chance to do. At no point did I feel pressured or mislead by anyone on the team. These guys are straight shooters. The service center was great. I brought my Hyundai Santa Fe in for an oil change and multipoint inspection. They were quick with everything, honest, and very professional with the entire process.
If youre taking it in for a recall dont bother. Go somewhere else. Unless youre planning on spending $$$ with it, they wont care to return your car in a timely manner or have the decency to notify you when it is ready. Not to mention, they wont truly complete an inspection like they say they do. Brought my car in with no issues and left with two new ones.

This is a great dealer. I have purchased several cars here, certified used and new, and have had every car serviced here. The staff is friendly, I have had good luck in my interactions with the service team and feel like a familiar face versus just a number in the dealer. Joe B. is a great team member on the service team! They offer appointments or I can just show up and they work me in to the rotation of service. I have taken cars to other dealers and it had a disconnected feeling, which has not been the case here for the majority of my interactions over the past 10 years or so. As long as I am purchasing Hyundais this will be my place.

If I could I would give this dealership minus stars. The dealership worked on my car and I was told I needed over $1300 of work. I told them I could only afford the brakes and the blower motor for the ac. Well 2 months later I turned the ac on and it sounded like my engine dropped. I took the car back to the dealership and I got the run around and they acted like it was my fault. I ended up having to spend more money at another mechanic due to the dealership didnt balance out the blower motor and the cabin filter was put in backwards.

I was very disappointed today in the quality of service I received at Chapman Hyundai - Phoenix. When I take my vehicle to get serviced at a dealership rather than an average mechanic shop I expect a higher standard of vehicle knowledge and workmanship. Errors cost consumers money. At the end of my oil change I was told that my engine air filter may require further attention. I literally REPLACED my engine air filter 20 minutes prior to my appointment. I want to be able to trust this dealership in the future but mistakes like these cant be taken lightly. I purchased a new vehicle from them in 2019 and have spent ample amounts of money over the past five years at this dealership only to have mistakes like this occur.
Have been hunting a Hyundai Palisade/Kia Telluride for over a week and my first contact with Jonathan Gutierrez in sales didn’t disappoint. Not only did I get the best deal in town (no baloney over sticker here my friends) but an honest dealership that wants to earn your biz over and over. I can’t suggest high enough to give Chapman a chance because they will win the business for sure. I will be leasing my next one soon Jonathan! Absolutely awful service. I thought the point of making an appointment was so you dont have to wait forever to have an oil change. 3+ hour wait time with an appointment. I wont be back. Taking my business elsewhere.

Tried to upsell me on a vehicle. It was priced at a reasonable price, only for them to charge me an extra $1300. Thats not even counting doc fee, taxes, plates, etc. Car was priced at $15k, it went up to $19k. Yeah Im taking my money else where. Its cheaper to get one out of state at this point.
