Im happy he is a good guy . Its a lot different than dropping your vehicle off at good year take my word for it. There not cheap getting your car or truck worked on isnt cheap anywhere. If u find that place where it is Im betting u dont go back, we take our stuff here and have for few years, Based on trust. We feel safe goin there

Scott was a life saver! I was 200+ miles away from home and my VW suddenly had an engine issue that the local VW dealership didn’t have time look at. When I asked for a local shop they could recommend, Scott’s was their recommendation. They were right and then some! Scott accommodated me at the last minute and fixed the issue that THE DEALERSHIP had likely caused just a month before for a recall.Amazing service, super friendly, and very fair and honest about the work on my car. Wish there were more people, let alone mechanics, like Scott!

Stopped in on a Rainy day with Wipers inoperative was told the wiper transmission was bad when it seemed to work. Price given was what I believe to be a Gouge 657 and some change to remove 3 10 mm bolts and 2 15mm bolts with some push pin 4 to be exact on 135 dollar part because it was raining and I am from out of Stat 470 dollars in labor.

Scott is a heck of a nice guy. I had to make an emergency trip out of town and I needed tires. He got me a great deal and and took care of it very quickly. He did me a huge favor and I won’t forget that. He’s earned my business in the future. Don’t hesitate to call. You won’t regret it.

Just In case any of you are in Peoria and need mechanic. Do not use Scott automotive across from Peoria airport. He had our vehicle for over a month without giving us an estimate because he didn’t want to do it. When I finally showed up in person to see what was going on, He said there was too much wrong with it!Took it somewhere else and it has only been there 24 hours and it is already complete and ready for pick up. Such a mess for no reason, even when I told him money wasn’t a concern!

These guys are awesome and prompt! This is the place to go in Peoria. Took a tire in to get repaired and they had it done fast! Then quoted me for a full set of tires and an allignment and was by far the lowest in the Peoria area!

I had a great experience using Scott Automotive! Not only did they do an excellent job fixing my 2009 Dodge Caravan (Which I was worried might be a lost cause, and almost traded) they were very knowledgeable. At the beginning, the owner Scott took time to explain what every concern I had could be, and the steps hed take to check on the issues to ensure it got fixed right. They made sure to not only address the problems that were immediate, but they informed me about other things I should address and then let me weight my options on what I could afford at that time. One week later and I am happier than ever. It was affordable to have them do the the fixes that needed done to get my van back to being a reliable vehicle again. Scott even took it upon himself (as I was leaving with my van fixed) to address a humming noise I had been hearing for a while and now that is gone too. No extra charge, just to help me get my van back to good health.I will be taking my van and future vehicles to Scott for repairs and any maintenance. I took my Mini Cooper here and was given great service! They took time to call me, explain what needed to be done, and what would probably need to be done in the future. I have called this place several times through out the course of several days and it rings to voicemail which then says mailbox is full. So I am assuming its common for these people to ignore potential customers. My friend stopped in there the other day and said they would call him back and never did. They might be good at car repairs but if your luck is like mine you will never find out.

Had a Jasper motor installed from Scott’s automotive and was installed improperly. Doesn’t leak oil but burns 3 quarts between oil changes. Engine overstarts since getting the new motor. Jeep always pulled to one side. Scott’s automotive said it’s do to bad front bushings and it would cost $1000.00 to replace. After going to another mechanic the problem was solved. A seized brake caliper. I don’t recommend this place.

Honest people that do good work for a reasonable price. I take all my vehicles to Scotts.

I wont use another mechanic than Scotts. Scott is flexible and reliant. He has taken care of my familys cars for eight years now.

I was travelling and had an awful noise start in my wheel. I pulled in to get it checked out and Scott stopped what he was doing to take a look. Luckily he was able to get a missing bolt and send me on my way safely. If he takes care of out of towners this way, I can only hope locals appreciate a good, honest mechanic.

My 2011 BMW M3 was out of warranty and I wanted an independent outfit to take over maintenance and repairs. My first experience with Scott Automotive was over a year ago and has been excellent all around since. Scott is very knowledgeable and thorough and managed to diagnose a peculiar issue that others hadnt. He uses OEM parts (no skimping) to ensure compatibility and performance. He even painted my brake calipers to match my cars body color :-). Very very pleased to have this service option as an alternative to a dealership and plan on continuing to use it going forward.

I trust Scott and his team to work on both my vehicles. He does great work at a fair price and makes sure you understand the work being done.
