The service crew was highly understaffed so it took me a longer waiting time than usual to get my car serviced and a recall check. But Christopher was so nice and accommodating considering his circumstances of doing multiple jobs at once. He kept a positive attitude throughout and had great customer service with me, Id give him personally 5 stars!

Well, first of all the people who sold me my 2014 Kia, did me good! I loved loved the sorrento they sold me perfect SUV. However I got the 2014, in 2017. The A/C went out in 2019. I brought it to them to get it fixed got it Im there it was covered under warranty. GREAT! Well, they heard a knocking noise coming within the engine, so like the A/C it was under warranty. So they had to break down the whole engine to repair what the knocking noise was, well they repaired it and it took forever!! I believe about 2 weeks for my car to be fixed. I got my car back, got on the interstate my engine light comes on and my whole car starts to shake and stop shake and stop. On the INTERSTATE!!! So I bring it back to them immediately and they look over it again. And apparently the piece of my engine they forced together broke and they tried to fix it by gluing it back together....so then they had to take my car again!!! And again they took it and took forever to get my car back. Ever since they touched that car it was never the same. I recently traded it in for another car so I wouldnt have to deal with them ever again!

I purchased my car at this dealership new this year. I reached my first service interval and SCHEDULED an appointment. I had to wait 2.5 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. This is unacceptable at any level. If they cannot handle the volume then the service manager should be metering their schedule better. From a customer service point of view, the manager was unavailable; typical, let everyone else feel the frustration of the customer due to your decisions. Great place to buy a car but because they cannot transfer that experience to the service department, where customer service really begins, I HIGHLY suggest that you find somewhere else. I was a raving fan of this dealership; however, they have proved me wrong. I WILL NOT go back unless I can leave my car there all day for a factory recall. That is it. Shameful. If I was this owner I would fire that service manger today and find someone that could do the job.

Terrible experience this morning while trying g to getting assistance. I have been trying to reach a manager to give a reason why this location would be receiving a one star. The service cashier showed up this morning with absolutely no empathy, or willingness to assist me a consumer and one of the top reasons shes employed. I spoke to this lady with civilty and respect and she was rude and seemed to have been annoyed with my concerns. I have played phone tag with her for the last thirty-five mins trying to speak with a member of management. The young lady has hung up on me twice and keeps sending me to voice mails that are full. I had a scheduled service drop off and cant seem to speak with anyone to assist me. I now must take time out of my schedule ans go to the store to speak to a manager.

Been waiting on my car to be fixed from the service department for almost 2 months now. Been given excuse after excuse. Can barely reach anyone on the phone. They tell you they’ll call you back but don’t. Now I did get only (1) call back from Chris these almost 2 months. I guess I should be satisfied with that.Chris W did admit they dropped the ball with how long I’ve been waiting. This is unacceptable. But here’s the question: Do they care? My answer: No they don’t.They tell you whatever just to keep pushing you out of the way!

Well, my first time with a recall related problem; was with bad fuel injectors.2 months later I got the car back. Too 6 months to get reimbursed for the rental car.Now my car which is still under warranty had the same problem. However now they are swapping the whole engine, but I have to pay for a new battery, and fuel in tank to test drive.(we dropped it off with a full tank ) Its been April 22, 2021 it is now July 20, 2021. It took them 26 days to start checking codes. Im Still waiting on a call back left tons of messages but they always say they will call me back but I never hear anything. They told me they would not pay for a rental but corporate says I should be reimbursed. Still that is paying for a rental for close to 3 months and I have no new information. Even kia corporate is also baffled.

I had the pleasure to work with Myron Deskins who truly treated me like he would his own daughter. He went above and beyond to get me the exact car I wanted (in the exact color too!) Trust me when I say you wont be disappointed. Hes not your typical car salesman. Hes patient and down to earth and doesnt beat around the bush on what youre getting. Also loved working with the Sales Manager Tracy Case who also went above and beyond in getting the car as close to my asking monthly rate as possible. These people are absolute wizards. 10/10 would definitely work with again.

Took our car in for a recall repair. Car was running fine before we took it in. As soon as we left, the engine light came on and the car would not go over 40mph. Called to report the issue and the very rude lady in the service department told us they were busy and we would have to bring it back the next day. After taking ANOTHER day off of work, we took the car back and the service department suddenly found some “additional issues” that needed to be repaired. Of course, the cost of these repairs landed on us. None of these issues existed until we had to bring it in for the recall. The lady was very rude to my wife and made it clear that the only reason they were correcting the recall issue for us was because she could tell my wife is a front-line healthcare worker from her scrubs. She also had the nerve to tell my wife she was free to come back, “once you’ve saved the money to pay for the repairs,” insinuating that we couldn’t afford to pay for repairs on the spot. I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership again or bring my current vehicle back for repairs. Kia should fire everyone that works here and start from scratch.

My experience here was great! I have the best experience and overall the best customer service hands down. Lanesha provided so much knowledge about the cars when helping me perform my search and also took in consideration for my preferences and accommodations. The staff here is great and you can tell through the energy that exuberates through the dealership as well.Thank you all so much with my first purchase and guiding me through the process of it all as well. I was searching for information on a Kia Sportage and started an online chat. The next day Lanesha got in touch with me via text and followed up with not only information I was looking for, but ultimately was able to work out a good price on the vehicle I eventually purchased. As a salesman myself, I know the value of good follow ups especially since a salesman at another dealership never got back in touch with me after my visit with them. I want to start this review with saying their sales rep Lanesha has constantly and consistently given me wonderful service. However my experience with this dealership has been far to horrible to even give a them a single star. I am doing a 5 start review for her SPECIFICALLY because this is the only way to give HER, the recognition she deserves.They are understaffed in their service department which has forced me to go to local shops for maintenance as getting an appointment for even an oil change is an all day event. The local companies killed my car, so I traded it in. When doing so JEFF practically tried to scam me. I bought the car in April and didn’t receive any of my paper work until the end of may, that net me a $15 penalty with the DMV for late registration. My payoff check wasn’t sent to my original holder until JUNE 2nd after Calling nearly twice a week since buying the car. Now I have to go through the issue of getting my payments reapplied and corrected so that I’m not in the red on my current vehicle. If you really really want a Kia go somewhere else. He should never have been allowed to do my paperwork if he wasn’t going to do it right, especially when I left with what I feel is a cheaper version of the car I had.Once this is settled and over I hope to never have to step foot near this place again. And I say this whole heartedly the sales rep Lanesha is the only reason and I mean ONLY reason I have not outright reported this location to anyone that would listen.She NEEDS a bonus, raise and a few days paid vacation because she has been the only one in the entire building that has actually helped me. I’ve spoken with 2 finance mangers, the sales manager, and a girl in service and out of all of those ppl Lanesha was the one pressing my issue to make sure it was resolved even though she’s in sales and no longer had any part of it. I really truly want to give her, JUST HER the 5 stars. The location as a whole though -5.

Went there to get car looked at for a antifreeze smell from my car. They cant find the leak. They are nice and professional but cant find the leak. Car runs fine. Been 30 mths trying to find leak. Guess I will have to find it myself. Antifreeze level is always correct. Havent had to add any antifreeze. I dont know if it is a defect or what. Even the shop personnel smelled it.

I have two main complaints about Kia Riverchase. I bought a car there this summer. First thing I was when I discovered a star in the windshield on the way home. Yes, I missed it but it was hidden behind the visor. Second thing, I am dealing with now is the “new” tires on the car. I just developed a flat and discovered a plug in the “new” tire. I am an agreeable person but tried to be attentive to getting cheated. Do not trust these guys. They will tell you anything. Quote, “we believe in full disclosure,” bovine scatology! Is this any different than other dealers, probably not, but buyer be ware. Also, the financial guys can’t be trusted. I came in with a loan from my bank, the dealership has an agreement with my bank, they tried to change all the arrangements of the loan. The financial guy also did not follow the law on wearing mask, putting me and my father at risk in his office. So really four complaints. So far.

I went here cause i saw something online to i just went in to check it out. so i am used to everyone telling me i make enough or i dont make enough or i need a co signer or a larger down payment.but that changed once i got inside.the car i went it to try to get was sold time i got there .but no problem they got all of my information.and they ask me to hold on while they check some things out .i say i waitied about 15 min and the guy came back ans said i got you something better then what u wanted. I was like wow this got to be. Trick.to my surprise they got me in a. I had a bad experience with a previous car dealer and decided to go with Kia. When I say it was such a blessed experience. I cried in the car. I had been through so much trying to get a reasonable car for me and my girls. They made it happen. They were friendly, professional, empathetic, knowledgeable. I got to say thanks to my dealer Harvey, thanks to Justin the manager, Lanesha for encouraging me to just try, Terry and Jeff for looking out for the the best interest for me and my family. I know the goal is to sale cars but they also make sure you’re happy every step of the way. You’re looking at the owner of a new 2021 Kia K5.

After they had our vehicle for 7 days... We broke down 2 blocks away from the dealership after they worked on it. Separately.. Beware. We suspect fraud on behalf of Riverchase KIA. They are doing unnecessary work and lying to their customers. They replaced a belt that they had just passed on an inspection prior. A belt with only 12,000 miles usage on it. Separate dealership says that the work they did was unnecessary. Do not trust their service department, they will gouge you. We had been loyal customers for more than a decade and this is what they did to us. This is the first time our vehicle has had to have 3 servicings in 1 month. The 3rd time to correct and check the work of the 2nd. The 2nd servicing was 3 days after our first servicing and our vehicle wouldnt start 3 days later. After it had passed their 30 point or whatever safety inspection with flying colors.. We had went to their service department because we bought the car there and spent $28,000. I didnt know they would gouge us to get even more money out of us for servicing..

Worst experience ever. Purchased a car in December of 2020 and am still unable to get out of state tags for it. First, the paperwork to get our tags (including the title) was mailed to the wrong location by the dealership so my husband had to hunt it down at the incorrect location and we had to turn it in to the tax office ourselves. However, said paperwork was incomplete/incorrect and after speaking with several employees my husband finally spoke with someone who PROMISED that they would have the correct papers overnighted. That was over 2 weeks ago...and as of today our local tax office has yet to receive any paperwork from them. I am to the point of requesting that they repo the vehicle as I refuse to continue to be pulled over and pay traffic tickets for something that is out of my control. Will NEVER do business with them again.

My husband and I came to see MOJO back in January 2020 and got our Forte. We recently just went back on Saturday 8/29/2020 and purchased a Sorento from mojo. He is absolutely the BEST! He cares about what you want and is realistic. We went in with a couple different options and we walked out with the best option for us and our financial needs. Our daughter is a huge fan and he makes sure the kids have stuff to keep them occupied while you are in there. We didnt spend all day in there, which we liked when we bought the forte. We have definitely told our friends and family about our experience and we will definitely be back. Jeff and Justin remembered us from back in January as well and its nice to be remembered by name/face and not forgotten. GREAT JOB RIVERCHASE KIA!!!

Just to have your car looked at takes over a week, not including repair time. They are unable to make a reservation so you just have to leave your car to wait in line to be seen. While knowing they wont get to it for days. Then to pay out will take almost an hour. The manager will hold your paperwork while checking in other customers so you have to wait more. I paid for a rental car out of pocket when they told me it would be 3-5 days for a diagnostic. I took my car back after 8 days and a complete diagnostic was not performed (I declined repairs as they were already more than the value of the car). I heard them telling someone else 3-5 days when picking up my car and the day before the manager told me 3-5 is a miscommunication its actually 5-8 days. They are purposely miscommunicating with customers to get them in the door. So I left with the cost of what diagnostic they did do and 8 days of car rental fees. The repair workers and service assistant were nice but the manager made it obvious she couldnt care less. I am now searching for a new car and will not be purchasing a Kia solely because I do not want to deal with this service department ever again. Also, if you are worried about COVID, two people that worked there wore a face mask.

I came in with questions and left out fully knowledgeable, confident and most importantly ROLLING OUT IN A NEW K5 & FULLY COVERED! I am a sales manager and I know when people try to add things not needed or when they assume and leave things out....THAT WAS NOT THE CASE HERE!!!SHELINA was my personal advocate not just Salesperson, and I dont feel as if Ive gotten GOT I feel BLESSED!!!She went over everything and is even helped me with a plan to build My Future Credit as well as how to understand what the financing companies look for. I havent always used a credit card nor have a strong credit history but SHELINA has an ALL STAR OF SALES & FINANCE MANAGERS behind her like MR BEN & MR WOODY, when I say they worked with me to overcome that and Im fully covered in a 2021!!! They did not run my credit for no reason, until after we game planned first, with an estimate of what my credit was and the potential interest rate w/o down-payment and took it from there!!!Also her team is SUPER SUPER FRIENDLY and helpful!!! WOW!!!!!I have been buying cars for over 3 decades from dealerships.NEVER, NEVER, have l had a wonderful time, as l did these last two days.I gave Mr Rodriguez cool Edwards a tough time in the beginning.Mr cool kept cool and just determined to have me leave in a brand new car and leave soooooo Happy.I was given the red carpet treatment. Had a recall on my Stinger. scheduled an appointment, first available was 10-14 days out. Show up after taking the day off because they didn’t do loaner cars to be told they don’t have the part. No call to say part didn’t come in no sorry for your lost work your wasted time just brushed me off.

The staff is kind, but there is almost none of the staff that are adhering to COVID-19 social distancing or face covering guidelines. The waiting room is very small and has poor ventilation, so as someone who is trying to get my car serviced while still being very careful, this is a very nerve-wracking experience. Please improve your efforts to keep your patrons safe during this pandemic.Edit: Updating my review to 3 stars, and I will also add that if we weren’t in a pandemic, this would have been the best service I’ve received from any service department. My associate was extremely helpful and got me out of there as fast as possible, and I will be back to see him after the pandemic is over with.

This place is a joke as well as Kia. My daughters 2015 Kia Soul has been here 3 times because it uses a quart of oil every 500 miles. Kia refuses to replace the engine. The oil consumption is causing the catalytic converter to clog up and cause more issues. The first time we were quoted $1500 to replace the convertor, we put catalytic convertor cleaner in it and it cleared up. Took the car in this last time to have 3 recalls done on it and they again say they cant do anything about the oil consumption and that the converter needs to be replaced. This time they quote $800 to replace it. My daughter goes to pick the car up and they make her pay over $200 to pick her car up for diagnostic fee on the catalytic convertor. If they had looked at the history on her car, they would have seen where they just did the diagnostic a month or so ago. This place is a joke and I will never own another Kia nor take her car back to this dealership. Sitting on hold right now to speak to someone in service. Been on hold for over 12 min at this point. After 20 min on hold I hung and called Mr. Dean per the invoice my daughter got. Ok so Mr. Dean no longer works there, so I get someone elses voicemail. Left a message, lets see how long it takes for them to call me back.

Took my Nissan in to get some service as it was close to home. The service manager was so wonderful and walked me through the whole process, both service advisors were curtious. I only waited 45 minutes. 10/10 recommend! Will definitely be going back!

I worked with Johnathan, but he goes by Mojo. I explain to him that I had challenged credit from the very beginning. Everything was going well until I decided to accept his offer which was a New Forte. The down payment that was agreed upon changed and I was ok with it, because it wasn’t much. He text me back and told me the car wasn’t going to be ready until “probably Wednesday”. To me this is very shady. If it’s a new car why isn’t it ready? I should’ve known he was shady with he told me to enter more on income on the application. I haven’t heard anything from him.

Bought 2 cars from Riverchase Kia, great experiences both times. Maintenance on the other hand has always been an issue. This past week we scheduled tires and for them to look at the driver window button. My husband had went and gotten a quote on that over a week prior. Got to the appointment on time, @8:30am and the car wasnt ready until 5pm for tires and to look at a button. We were called at about 5pm to be told the brakes needed to be replaced. They did a fast job on the brakes, but my husband is not pleased that tires took 8 hours, a rim is all the sudden BENT causing a shake drinking on the highway, and we werent given the service papers. We will be going to another Kia dealer for maintenance in the future.Returned for warranty work to repair the window button since they didnt order the part the first time.. that alone took 5 hours. They also forgot I was waiting at the dealership. I did not receive my service paperwork then either. They also stated that we caused the rim issue based off dents in the car door even though the shaking wasnt an issue until the new tires were put on.Lets just say Im not coming back to this dealer, ever.

Zero stars if I could. 10/10 recommend any Kia dealership but this one. My car had an engine failure recall which Kia is responsible for replacing at no cost to the consumer. They were going to fix it as they are required to do but would not put me in a loaner or assist with a rental! ALL the other dealerships offer loaner programs or assist with Enterprise rentals and apparently this is personal decision made by individual dealerships 😡 Tracy and Nicole the managers were less than helpful, just kept repeating the same thing Our dealership does not offer those programs. I had my car towed from their dealership to Sierra in Gardendale. Gardendales service team was AMAZING got me in a loaner within 10 minutes of my car being pulled in by tow. If one dealership can be so great, why is Riverchase so awful??? They personally dont care at all about their consumers and I will never be back to Riverchase even for a oil change EVER. Brent in Riverchases service department, as well as Sam, were the only positive experiences I had. I feel bad for them having to tell consumers no when their hands are tied by the big guys in the office raking in all the free money Kia gives them for fixing recalled vehicles. Go ANYWHERE but here!

I understood everything that was being done to my car, she went over it in detail for me. And for a added bonus she said me that my first maintenance service was free.

Back in April, my husband and I were in the market for a car and ended up at Riverchase Kia. The salesman who took care of us was Harvey and he was fantastic! We ended up purchasing an Optima and I have no complaints with my car and everything seemed to be going great until about 2 weeks later when we noticed that the car we traded into them still had not been paid off and I received a delinquent payment notice for that vehicle. This rocked on for over a month of going back and forth with their finance department and my bank. It took Riverchase Kia a whole month to send in the payoff check, for the car we traded in, to the bank which resulted in my credit score being affected because of their inability to do their job within a timely manner. So now we are having to deal with the credit bureau to try to correct what they have messed up. I would so love to give a good review in regards to the experience we had with our salesman Mr. Harvey because he is absolutely wonderful but I do NOT recommend trying to work with Riverchase Kias finance department because it has truly been a nightmare.

Avoid this place at all costs. I sat in the waiting room for three hours to get a rotor replaced on the front of my car and instead they did a brake inspection on the back. Three hours. For nothing. They couldn’t find my appointment when I arrived, they lost my keys and tried to give me someone else’s. When I tried to talk to someone about the rotor they left, didn’t come back, and had the check out lady do my paperwork instead of talking to me. They were supposed to give me an estimate before they performed work, did they? No. The lobby is gross, the waiting room is gross, the bathrooms are gross, the receptionist couldn’t be bothered to look up from her phone when I walked in. Bad bad bad all around. Every other person in that lobby and waiting room was disgruntled/upset. I have no idea why they have any good reviews.On another note, not a single employee wore a mask or practiced any type of social distancing or cleanliness.

Purchased a new car feb 14th 2020 found a hole in the head rest on the way home called up there took 8 months to get it fixed. Rear view mirror broke was told they would have to keep my car 48 hrs to fix the rear view mirror it never got fixed. My tire kept going flat took it up there to get fixed waited three and a half hours for a oil change and for them to tell me the extra road hazzard warranty I purchased would not cover the tire. Very rude and hard to get anything done.

My car has been at Riverchase Kia for two weeks now to be serviced and nothing has been fixed. I’ve called numerous times and either no one answers or they don’t have any updates on the status of my car. My service advisor, Christopher McMillan, has not reached out to me in any form regarding my car and he said that “I should know to call him.” Him along with the service manager, Bryan Arrington, have been lying to us constantly saying they were ordering parts and contacting the dealership I purchased the car from for paperwork, but when I arrived there today, none of what they said were true. None of the parts for my car had been ordered, even though I was told differently and I was expecting them to arrive this past Tuesday. They didn’t even care to offer me a rental car until the General Manager stepped in today. I definitely don’t recommend getting your car serviced at this location.

Went here a few months ago, didn’t think to write a bad review.The car salesman didn’t think it was enough to already harass us after we wanted to leave after 20 minutes of being there . He had us staying for an hour guilt tripping us to buy a car.THEN he proceeds to follow me out the door to my car, yes try to walk with me to my car once I say I got to leave . I wish I didn’t forget his name, the other staff seemed a bit embarrassed at the front desk.

Terrible customer service in the SERVICE DEPARTMENT! This rating is not for the actual mechanics but the “service” reps that works with the customers. It’s so bad that I would drive 3 hours away for work on my car before I dealt with these guys again!!

Yes the people were very friendly and done there best to be helpful. Now the new springs that was installed in the ignition coils only made the the car run worse . But it was a recall cheap fix that didn’t do anything but make things worse now my car is missing and the check engine light is on. How is Kia gonna stand behind there product? Are they going to provide new coils to fix there problem?

Riverchase Kia is TERRIBLE,, UNPROFESSIONAL and INCONSIDERATE !!!! Theyve lied to me on several occasions, theyve had my car 6 months and EVERYTIME that Ive gotten it back it was another issue!!! They said the warranty company denied my claim, which they never did. Matter of fact the warranty company contacted Kia told them it was approved but the General Manager never relayed the information and TWO MONTHS LATER we get a call from Lia telling us to bring the car back even though they dropped the call and my car is STII THERE

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! Bought a Sorento with 17,000 miles. Vehicle was Certified Pre Owned, but I chose to also get the wrap around warranty.6 months and 5,000 miles later the antenna cover on the roof of the car flew off. My wife took it in bc it should be covered under warranty and the technician told her there was damage so it wasn’t covered. I looked at it when I got home and there is ZERO damage whatsoever to the antenna or anywhere on the roof of the car, not even a scratch.When she spoke with a manager and called them out on it, he offered no explanation as to why they lied and tried to take advantage of her. All he said was “it is not a manufacturing issue so it isn’t covered.” They literally sold a car that a piece flew off of and hit me with the “not our problem”.STAY AWAY. Look at the most recent reviews. There is a reason they are getting 1 star. Zero integrity or ethics involved in this dealership.

I had my car towed there on June 30th and was told it was going to get the diagnostic test the following week. They lost the ticket on my car and didnt know where it was... not once, not twice, but three times. After a month in a half, they had an employee pick the phone up and tell me that it was going to be fixed for free under warranty...only to find out another month later that, that was false and they difnt even know who that employee was. After misplacing my car the third time, they finally did a diagnostic test in the first week of September... 3 months later😡 only to tell me that, again, its not going to be fixed for free, but it costs almost $1,100 to be fixed. Im getting a lawyer and the news to do a story on them. I cant be the only one. Worst business experience in the history of my life.

Just a few days ago I took my friend to Riverchase Kia to purchase a bigger car our sales guy Stan Sims was absolutely amazing! He was able to put her in the exact car she asked for upon entering. My husband and I had been looking to trade our current car for something a little bigger, but still wanted to save on gas. My husband is a diabetic and his sugar went high and when that happen we had to leave and come back in a couple of days when he felt better. Our saleswoman was awesome in doing a lot of the leg work for us over the phone, so when we went back all we basically had to do was sign the paper work. Not to mention we got a great intrest rate, Kudos to Riverchase Kia!

This dealership is a JOKE. I went 1 day to test drive and told the salesman Ray that. He answered 5 phone calls while we were looking around AND in the test drive. He was dismissive and literally told me he had 2 other customers waiting. So we try again the next day, we talk to someone different named MOJO. He was texting my husband and told him we were ready to buy and ask about the specific car we wanted. He stopped texting us when we asked aboit his best price. Crickets/nothing....so we drive an hour to the dealership and MOJO states we sold that car 5 minutes ago. The ONLY person that spoke to us with any kind of respect was the used car manager. The new car manager was to busy, never even looked our way. BYE RIVER CHASE KIA. All my friends will know how you treat your customers.

Just trust KIA and theyre amazing team, they make you feel welcome and they work with you and explain everything as they go. They dont shove nothing down your mouth. They were easy to talk to, the person who helped me was Tyree, he did a really great job, he was funny too. They were patient, understanding, helpful and very relaxed. I dont have the best credit, and they got me in the car I asked for with the down payment I said I wanted to pay and actually lowered the monthly cost during the final steps. Tyree was really helpful and offered to help me every step of the way. The lot manager, was helpful too I could see him assisting multiple people, he didnt make you feel like he was more focused on anyone, he cared about everyone there buyers and his team, very great guy you can tell. and he was very professional and helpful! He was very informative and if he wasnt sure about something he found out. He let you know what youre getting into and what you could do later. Over all just a real fantastic experience. Ive looked at plenty of cars and Im telling you Kia just is the place to go. On to the service department. I drove by there today before posting a review because Tyree said the service department was great, There was nothing really wrong with my car as I just got it lol, I just wanted to see how they would respond to my questions, I didnt get thier names but the guy there was super friendly and informative. He didnt try to make you feel stupid (because i asked a stupid question) I expected him to to be honest, then they replaced my key battery and even the guy and girl who helped me there were very nice and helpful and funny too. Great place to buy a car 100/10 yes one hundred out of ten.

Lionel got my parents into two cars, then the next week got me into a new car with $0 down. The facility was clean, the bathrooms were clean, and we were overall treated as if we were family. My daughter found a used Kia forte here. Seems like a good car at a good price. She is happy with it.The salesman really pushed getting a new car on us, a bit too much in my opinion. We test drove three cars and ended up getting the third one. The other two cars had clear mechanical and cosmetic issues. I was surprised they would try to sell cars with such obvious problems.For some reason the prices are not on the used cars and the salesman didnt know them. This led to a lot of back and forth in to the computer and back to the lot. We would have preferred more transparency and ease in locating a car.

So let me talk about the man name jay I came in to the service department and he was so nice. I was in and out very quickly and he kept me up to date often. After he walked me to my car I saw it was vacuum but it could have been much cleaner he took my vehicle to detail and made sure it was done just like i like it and I was very happy when he brought it back to me. After buying a car here a few years ago I referred my cousin to go buy one. The dealership told me that they would send me $100 referral fee in the mail. That was months ago! I have called three times since then just to be told they were sending it. FALSE ADVERTISING!!! They do not send the referral money. Do not waste your time here. Even after being told three times they’d figure it out and send it.

Bought a used kia sportage, price was reduced but at time of sale they used original price. They said finance company made them use higher price. I called the finance company and they stated that I could of bought car at lower price. Riverchase kia wanted 2,000 down payment said we could not buy new car due to credit. So after I bought car. I went to Jim Burke Hyundai was approved zero down for a 2020 Hyundai I bought it. But realized just how screwed I got a River chase Kia. I have bought new cars in the past at River chase kia. Met with the KIA sales agent Teddy Fryer who was very professional in his manner. He was knowledgeable about the KIA range and made the buying process a smooth transition. We traded our car and purchased a new Soul. I would without doubt buy from him again. I rate the experience a ten stars out of ten. My wife and I were introduced to all who would support the servicing of the car as well, to me a very important part of the package. There was no pressure to buy and we left to make the decision to purchase off site and in private. When I called to say we wished to buy the car we we had decided on it was was detailed and fueled whilst we completed all the necessary paperwork. The staff involved with the sale were professional and more than helpful. I am very impressed with Teddy Fryer who conducted the whole sale from start to completion in a manner that made the buying of a new car a stress free and enjoyable experience. I would buy from him and Riverchase again as and when I need a new or used car. Finally the KIA Soul is a great car and I highly recommend it.

Had a very positive experience buying a pre owned Sedona. The salesman, Juan, didnt pressure us to buy, letting us make our own decision. On Friday, May 8th, my fiancé and I bought a 2016 F-150 3.5L eco-boost from Riverchase Kia in Pelham, AL. Well we thought we did. The entire time “Mojo” showed the truck, we discussed the motor as well as the other features. Then when we sat down and talked numbers, he presented a piece of paper comparing it to all the other 2016 model F-150s within so many miles and my fiancé noticed the motor was listed different than every single other listing, so he asked “this may be a dumb question but this truck’s motor is listed differently. Is that just the way you guys typed it up? Is this truck a twin turbo EcoBoost like the rest?” Mojo replied with “ yes exactly”. So we moved forward and we bought the truck. That following Sunday my fiancé went to look under the hood at something and after some research he found out it did not have the 3.5L EcoBoost motor. He called the following ‪Monday morning‬ and talked to Mojo. He stated said “mojo do you remember us talking about the truck being an EcoBoost and showing me the comparison sheet of the surround F-150s, and I asked about the motor being an EcoBoost, even though it didn’t match up to everything else and you told me yes it is?” He said “yea, yea I do” then My Fiancè said “well Mojo it’s not an EcoBoost. It’s a plain V6.” His response was. “Oh $@it”. He then said he would talk to management and get back with him. My fiancé called him two different times that day. One telling him that he’s still trying to talk to management but they’re busy and the second time was 8 hours later and all they were willing to do was give us an oil change. Both responses were via text messages. He would not answer a phone call. So we then called and spoke to a sales manager and he was nice but didn’t have any more to offer. After a couple weeks we were finally able to talk to the sales manager that was working the day we bought the truck. At this point we were over having to deal with them so we settled for a few oil changes and floor mats since the truck didn’t come with any. He stated “they wouldn’t be cheap mats”. Once they finally came in we went and picked them up from the dealership, and they were universal Riverchase kia mats that no where near fill up any of the back seat floor board. We bought better ones from Walmart than the ones they gave us and he only gave one more oil change than the original one. We find this to be highly unprofessional and unsatisfactory. There are thousands of dollars difference as well as the evident performance differences. I’ve also bought a brand new Kia from them in 2017 and it’s crazy we get treated this way after spending so much money with them. I hope that people read this and choose to take their business else where.
