Great Place To Buy Glasses!!I walked into this Mann Eye 2 location to look at their selection of frames. Years ago, I bought my last pair of glasses from here, and was in dire need of a new pair. The staff there was super helpful and polite. The store is very clean. No pressure sale-pitches or crowding me, so I was free to shop. I found the very frames I had been searching for at other places. And, I believe I got a great deal on a pair of glasses complete with Crizal anti-glare, scratch-resistance, progressive lenses and Transitions tinting to boot!! Store Associates Wendy and Brittany both helped me and made sure the glasses were the right fit for me and that I was going to be happy with my choice!! I’m definitely a very satisfied customer!!

I visited this location a few weeks ago. The ladies in the front are so helpful and friendly. The doctor was attentive and thorough and fitted me for contacts. Wendy was an amazing help when it came to selecting my new frames. I’ve worn glasses for 10 years and no one has ever helped me find frames that fit my face like she did. I recommend this location!

Went to Mann eye with eye issues from infection, Dr Riojas did the best eye exam and wrote a updated new eye prescription. They have the Top of the line equipments. Wendy and Cynthia were great with their customer service.

The new staff is amazing, very friendly, took the time to assist me picking out my glasses,. The new doctor is super thorough and explain everything as he goes through your past records and compare the changes and everything you ask he explain in full. The new manager actually helps patients and do not stand around, listens and works with you. Love it.

They were friendly upon arrival. Everyone was fantastic, very patient, and very informative. I need cataract surgery and they are the first eye specialist that has taken the time to explain my options. Thank you Dr. Rojas he had a wonderful bedside manner and I thank you for taking time to explain everything to me.

Great experience. The eye doctor was very thorough with the exam and it wasn’t rushed. Wendy helped me pick out glasses just right for my face. Most of the time I spend a lot of time trying on glasses and showing pics to my sister but Wendy listened to what I wanted and found a pair that was perfect for me. Definitely ask for her!

My husband and I had our appointment with Dr. Rojas this morning. This was our first visit to Mann Eye and we have definitely found our continued provider. I highly recommend them and the staff that assisted so well in picking out new glasses.

Our recent trip to Mann Eye was more than I could have asked for. My 12 year old daughter has a high prescription and she typically struggles to find a good fitting pair of glasses, but Wendy made our experience wonderful. We were greeted warmly as we walked in and were quickly helped. Wendy took customer service to another level. She was so sweet and patient with my daughter. She asked several questions to get to know her likes and dislikes when it came to glasses and she took care of the rest. She tried several on before deciding on one. Not only did Wendy help my daughter find her glasses but she was also so throughout at explaining our best options when it came to the lenses and I appreciate it so much. We have purchased many glasses at Mann eye but our experience this time around was exceptional. Thank you Wendy and Brittany for all of your help!

My daughter broke her glasses last night and unfortunately we had no backup. She cannot function without her eyeglasses. We came to Mann Eye hoping they had a duplicate pair. Ms. Wendy checked the system and confirmed that they didnt have it in stock. She was so worried about my daughter going the rest of the weekend without her glasses. She searched the display and the store area and located the frame!!! Thank you so much!! My is happy and Im thankful that we get our eyeglasses from Mann Eye Institute.

My daughter had an eye exam at the Pearland location on 08/11, this was our first visit and I must say they have a really great staff there. Everyone was very nice, personable and were very professional. Such a great group of people in one location!!!!!

My wife and I both enjoy going to Mann Eye for our regular exams. On my latest visit, the staff really went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly. From check-in through ordering new prescription eyewear, I have nothing but praise for the level of service and friendly professionalism. I appreciate that they didnt make me feel like just another person walking in the door. With service like this I have every reason to keep coming back.

By far the best experience I’ve had ! The facility was very clean and everyone took great care in keeping us safe and sanitized! Sandra made me so comfortable and was very patient and easy to explain my concerns to. FYI for those that are in corporate and reading this, PLEASE provide her a table that sits high enough for her to at least stand while typing ! I felt so sorry for her hunched over while in the exam room attempting to type all the information I was telling her! Over all I will continue to visit this location and I was very happy with the entire visit !

The young lady covering the front desk did an amazing job. It was Sat. morning and every thing seemed to hit at once, people were waiting to get fitted. She remained composed and handled it very well.

The staff and doctors are very professional and friendly at the same time. They always make me feel like taking care of me and my eyes is the most important thing they have to do. I never felt rushed and the patiently answered all my questions. I have only positive things to say about the MANN Institute family of eye care professionals and I highly, highly recommend them to everyone.

I had a wonderful experience having my annual exam. From the doctor to the assistants, I was treated professionally. I have been with Mann for close to 15 yrs when I had my lasik done and I’ve always had good experiences. My only complaint is the location. The traffic is a nightmare on 518 (Broadway). When the office was on Bay Area Blvd it was so much smoother to drive there and park. If I get the wish bone off the turkey on Thanksgiving, I’m going to wish that the clinic moves back to Friendswood!

The tech was awesome and super friendly, but when it came time to buy my glasses, they didnt have a person to do the transaction so I couldnt buy them. They are still very good, but they need to fix this. Now I have to go back to have them again

Dr. Tanaka is very professional and attentive and really takes care of her patients. I was there for a routine eye exam and I was a little nervous because of the close proximity you have to the eye doctor during an exam because of the pandemic but she made sure we both were safe. I will continue to go to Mann Eye for all my eye care needs.

The overall experience was nice. The environment is welcoming and quiet. It appears they’ve scheduled patients appropriately due to COVID19. The attention to insurance was clear. They have a deal on lens if you catch it before the end of the year. Pretty awesome deal!Ms. Chase (primarily works out of Tomball but came to Pearland to cover for other staff) is awesome. She is very passionate about her job and is willing to help her fellow coworkers when needed. Dr. Tai was great at listening and is patient when I did not know when 1 or 2 looked better. Smile.All in all, the experience was great, the doctor and technician were great, and Ms. Chase topped it off with a nice deal in coordination with my frames. It looks like I’ll be leaving with prescribed lens/ sunglasses as well. Check them out!

They staff that prepared you for the eye exam was great. They were friendly and attentive to our needs. They staff in the front that assist you with purchasing your frames need to work on their customer service skills. One lady was friendly and I was hoping she helped us, however, the others were not as helpful and did not interact as she did.

The doctors, technicians, and staff at this location are incredibly efficient, kind, and thorough. Great selection of glasses too! I am so appreciative of their help.

Been to this location twice. I come here since its a short driving distance from my home. I had a good experience each time. I set up my appointments online and they confirm it with me. Wait time is usually < 5 mins. After the eye exam, Dr. Taylor reviews everything in a way I understand. She gave me recommendations about Lasik. The staff is courteous and professional.

I just left... I walked in was not greeted at all. The guy was helping another customer so I started to look around less than a minute later another woman walked in and was greeted hi maam I will be right with you..Really .... One Star is way to much to give!

I read reviews on this place and decided to give it a try since they were mostly good. My issue wasn’t with the facility or the doctor. I was dissatisfied with the way the receptionist was responding to me. I walked in for an eye exam and to get fitted for contacts. When I told her about the prices I saw online her response to me was “no”, didn’t give me any prices or anything. I had to ask a second time about pricing and then she brings out a sheet with prices I then proceeded to ask what the price for the contact lenses would be if I only got fitted for them and just got a copy of my prescription so I could order them online, her response was “we can’t do that” so I can’t get a price for just having the exam done and then I can’t get a copy of a prescription that I’m paying for.... wasn’t happy at all! I had to spend an extra amount to go and get another exam at a place that would give me both my prescription for my glasses and the contacts. So again not happy at all!

Great team work from everyone. Dr. Taylor was so friendly and really cared about my eyes. They had lots of frames to choose from and I found a great new style. Thanks for everything Mann Eye 2.

Excellent service and friendly staff.

I got a pair of glasses here in March of 2017. A few months later, the coating began to bubble/separate from the glasses. I brought them in and they replaced the lenses, but never mentioned that I was repairing through my insurance. The coating issue is now happening again, so I brought them in again. I am positive these aren’t scratches or due to anything I’ve done to the glasses. This time, I was told by a different person that only one repair is allowed under my insurance, so they would not fix the problem for free. I was then told they would give me half off new lenses, which are over $200 full price. I understand this if I had damaged them, but it’s clearly a defect. These glasses are only 7 months old and I can see the bubbling in my vision. I think it’s ridiculous that they won’t repair defective glasses, especially just purchased not that long ago.

I would definitely recommend this place and sure will go there again! They handled everything in a timely manner and very professionally. The staff was very kind and I got an eye exam and my prescription changed in 3 hours for $33 only!

Ive been to Mann Eye 2 a couple of times and continue to come back because the staff is so nice..The doctor was thorough and patient with me and even asked if I was interested in a procedure that I had not yet brought up to her. Avery, out front, helped me pick out glasses that would fit my face and which were different from the style I already wear. I would have never chosen them because I usually go for a certain style but I asked for help picking out something that would work for me and he came through. Thanks, Mann Eye 2

I was treated nicely once I came in and was treated with great enthusiasm by the entire staff. Everyone was super professional. Glad I can on here to read reviews because most of these reviews were accurate to how they treat their patients! Will be coming to do my annual exam here, every year if poissible. :)

Really disappointed in this place. Went for the first time and was encouraged to change the brand of contact lenses that I used to a much more expensive daily version which cost $200 every 90 days. Over the 90 days I have not enjoyed this lens and my vision is not as clear as it used to be so now that I am due to purchase more contacts, I called to see if they could either switch me back to my old lens or give me a sample of another daily lens brand. I was told that my prescription had already been finalized and I could not get a different brand. When I expressed confusion about that because Ive never had that experience with other optometry places she then said I could come in and pay to see the doctor again and then they would allow me to change my lens. I think that is completely ridiculous. When Ive already paid to see you for an eye exam (which I might add I had to wait over an hour past my appointment because you were double booked) and you switch the brand of contacts I use, you should work with me if I am having trouble in the lens. She said its because its been over 45 days. Well, when you sell me a 90 day supply of lenses, of course its more than 45 days. At a cost of $200, I had to use up the box before making a switch. I guess I will be finding myself another eye doctor that can better help me without constantly charging me.

Staff are all very helpful. It was a relaxing appointment and they do not rush you. Dr. Karen was very thorough and listened to my symptoms. Have taken my whole family here for eye check-ups.

Talk about ripping off people... prices are outrageous!!! I was quoted $500 for glasses with insurance $468 without insurance. Left and went to Walmart... got 2 par of glasses for $219 after my insurance. To make things worst... they charge me $95 for contact lens fitting which will make it $145 since my insurance allowance is $50... which that was after insurance when my yearly normal for contact lenses in the past has been $65 without insurance. So... never again!

This is my second time shopping at Mann Eye 2 in Pearland and I was not disappointed. Dr. Taylor has an excellent chair side manner and my sales representative Avery, helped me find a pair of glasses that I love! Here is a picture of me rocking one of them.

Bottom line, the issue was they provided me a pair of progressive lenses that made it unsafe for me to drive or even use for practical purposes, they said they didnt do them correctly, asked to redo them and when they did, they were not much better. I asked for single vision prescription, which they did do and they were great, but then blamed me for the the issues with the first 2 pair of lenses and told me they wasted too much money trying to make a pair of progressives and that they needed the $250 difference in price, to help cover those costs... thats bad. You may get good service and you may get good glasses, but... is it really worth the chance? Theres SEVERAL places to get glasses in Pearland, choose wisely! After 3+ weeks: Still no assistance or follow up from Mann Eye. Ill keep working to get my due refund of $250.

The receptionist and the doctor were both super nice. I usually go to the Sugar Land location, but I recently moved to Pearland. Definitley recommend this place!

The day of my appointment I had a great experience everything seemed like it went well until I received a text message that my eyewear had arrived and was available to pick up. I go ahead and leave work and rush to pick up my eyewear before they close just so they can let me know that they do not see an order for my glasses and just to tell me they have all my left eye contacts but not my right. One of the workers told me that I got that text because of my glasses arriving because they never text for contacts that instead they call, but obviously that was a lie since another lady told me that In their system they didn’t even have my glasses ordered. It makes no sense to receive a text for it, if not both eyes are ready they need to fix their system. They need to get it together it seems they have a lack of communication between them. This will be my last time doing business with them.

They were extremely professional, and courteous. Will keep using them for my eye care needs.

Worst customer service experience ever. The support staff needs customer service training. Stephanie was such a rude medical assistant. In all my years, I have never observed such horrible customer service to patients. I will not be coming here ever again! It was a waste of time.

Ive been to this location 3 times... Not that theyd remember.. I called in to let them know Id literally be a few minutes late because of my GPS reroute. Fine. I for there no one was there I stood at our got a while and finally their lab tech or other doctor... Not. Sure.. Told someone I was there. They still never came or greeted me for my appointment (on My lunch break mind you) and so I wandered to the back and someone finally paid attention iOnly went here despite their crappy service at this location because I had the Groupon for the $29 eye exam.Does include contacts which I needed... Extra 70... This brings it higher then walmart vision which Ive done for years and includes both prescriptions plus a trial pair which they always have to order anywhere i for which is fine but every other optometrist gives me the closest pair from their wall to get me throughNope not here.. I had even asked the lady before i went in. Anyway they finished and I wanted to look at the frames since the Groupon includes $200 towards glasses. Again no one helped me until I practically forced the person to help me. Glasses are so marked up its a scam... Just go to Warby Parker. I can get really amazing quality frames in better styles, thin lenses, glare control and no scratch costing for less then what they were trying to scam me out of and this is with the $200 discount. What a joooooooke. Horrible customer service. Wish I had taken that 30 bucks groupon loss and went to a better company. This location is always bad.
