Quick to take your money, but it takes forever to get your refund.The story goes, i ordered few glasses but i end up deciding to take some and cancel the others. Long story short, they are still holding my money, and up to this moment i did not get a refund. Always tells me the same story that the manager has to process it. Last time iv checked they said the manager was on vacation. As far as i know, keeping your someone elseβs money is not only unethical business practice but also illegal. As far as i know, i cancelled that order in-time! I hope this message reach their higher management so i could get a better response.Iv been doing business in this location, but sadly due to this experience, i am changing my option.This is a warning to other customers, donβt let businesses just take-away your hard earned money.
Amanda on the sales side of this location was very pleasant and helpful. The eye exam at the storefront next door was thorough. Dr. Bui was knowledgeable and communicated well. We were very impressed with our experience and walked out wondering where all the negative reviews came from.

The other sales lady stayed into her phone the whole time. I needed to get 3 pairs of glasses for my kids but decided not to because business wasnt desired obviously. I will never go back.

Do not go here! Place is ghetto, very unprofessional. Staff was on the phone all loud in front of customers. Lady refused to let me use my insurance to replace my glasses, so I had to pay out of pocket. Was told they would a rush order on them and still not ready itβs been 2 weeks! Place is horrible!

I came here to order contacts with a prescription from my doc. I came in without an appointment and they still helped me so I was grateful. However, the general manager was there taking a personal call for the entirety of the time I was there. As I was working with the other rep to get the contacts ordered, she was a few feet away talking loud and had the nerve to put the call on speaker so I could also hear the other person talking as well. Maybe next time be more professional and take the call in the back when a customer is in the store being helped
I have been going to this Vision works for almost 10 years now. Service used to be wonderful and accomodating. Recently, this past couple years their service standards have severely declined.A month ago, I ordered my annual supply of contacts. Upon ordering my contacts the associate was on her cellphone on a personal call. I picked up my contacts and few days later noticed that they were the wrong fit. I returned them to the store. They told me they would return the contacts and re-order (expedite) the correct lenses. They were not empathetic and did not feel the slightest remorse nor apologized for the inconvenience. If anything, they were annoyed of the circumstance. (Though, I was being polite about it.) They instructed me to call and follow-up with my contacts.I called a week later, and explained to the associate my circumstances and was following up with the order. She had an attitude and said she did not know about the re-ordering because on her computer it said that I had already picked up the contacts. Eventually, she said for me to call back in few days to follow-up again because she said someone had ordered the contacts.I called again a week later, and explained that I had been without contacts for 2 weeks and still unapologetically said We will call or text you once the contacts arrive.With this whole transaction, I just felt defeated and unaccomodated. I have been giving the benefit of the doubt since I have been a customer here for about 10 years. I am just disappointed of how the service has drastically changed. Sadly, I am considering of changing services.
I would recommend this store to everyone I know that needs glasses or contacts. Firstly, everyone there was super polite and welcoming. Secondly, Domineek is absolutely AMAZING. He will make you smile, and get you a great deal. Plus, they do same day glasses! HOW GREAT IS THAT?! I will be back every time I need glasses.
I had just been to this store more than an hour ago and got sent out because of not having an appointment. I was only asked by the rude and unprofessional staff member βif I have an appointmentβ for 2-3X without any greetings or apology that the store is not allowing anyone without prior notice due to ongoing Covid 19 health issues. She didnβt even ask what I needed or my concern at that time. I was just about to ask them if they could reglue my current frameless eyeglasses. I was also stopped to stay first on their table to sanitize maybe? If they really want to impose this kind of precautions, they need to make their signs bigger by the door or assign somebody to stay there and give proper instructions to their customers instead of just crowding them on the front desk. Just my suggestions to help blind customers like me. We have been customers (my whole family) in this store for years now. I got really disappointed with the bad attitude that I encountered the moment I entered the store. So I just walked away. Truly a very poor customer service...

Everytime I go here the associates are rude. They do not acknowledge you. They will speak to other that come in after. They need better staffing or learn to handle the schedule differently so people are not sitting wasting time and keep having to come back.
If you ever need help with your glasses or contacts, I would suggest this location. The employees are informative and professional. They greet you whenever you walk in. My experience here today was great! ShΓ©rebiah was the person that assisted me today and she was spectacular. She explained everything to me so that I could understand it easily. With such good customer service, I will continue to come back to this location.
Amazing place to purchase a pair of glasses. They have a wide selection of frames with several brands. The staff were nice and professional. Carlos and another lady were really helpful in explaining the information I asked for regarding pricing and insurance. I did not have to wait long to be helped. It just depends on how much people are there. Overall, this location has great customer service!

Seemed as everything was ok, but after wearing my glasses for a few days they didnt seem to be as clear. I still have to go back to see about getting them adjusted. For what they cost, I was not extremely happy with my overall experience.In addition some of the reception staff was not very friendly or informative.

Called to check if I had contacts at their location honestly forgot which location I purchased at and the associate Chanel or Chantelle rudely says if you got A msg then their here and I told her I understand that but Im not sure if it was at this location then proceeded to say I cant look right now were busy . For someone like myself who actually works in the optical field as well honestly surprised by the customer service they provide just horrible customer service an unwillingly to assist theirs patients.

While others may have had a good or great experience, I DID NOT! Shanell and Sherebia (names maybe mispelled), both of their customer service was terrible. Sherebia was short and rude, with no concessions for the customer. Shanell on the other hand, was just combative, argumentive, and constantly went back and forth, obviously needing to have the last word and blaming me, the customer because my glasses are not suitable and no longer fit properly. She insisted that the glasses were not defective and that i was doing something to make them loose and not fit properly. I basically just walked out because I was beyond frustrated and angry, at this point. No clerk should be arguing back and forth with any customer. I WILL NEVER VISIT ANY VISIONWORKS BECAUSE OF THIS, NOT PEARLAND, SUGARLAND, MEMORIAL CITY- NONE OF THEM. GOODBYE, AND think about hiring people with better customer service skill, or at least re-train or teach them, or FIRE Them!
Stepped in pretty late looking for transition lenses for my international trip the next morning. The staff was exceptionally helpful and patient. They helped me select a frame and transitin lens and stayed overtime to cut the lens and get me all taken care off. Special thanks to Carlos the retail supervisor. Excellent service! βββββ I never thought picking out frames for my prescription would be so hard in terms of the amount of choices and which frames would actually fit my face well. Blanca delivered A+ service from beginning to end. I called in and spoke with Blanca and she addressed my many concerns and she directed me to the optometrist. She was very pleasant on the phone with me. Once I came in after getting my prescription, she walked me through the options and was very hands on the entire process. I couldnt make up my mind, and never once did she make me feel like I was a bother to her. She knew my need and made me feel comfortable. Ive been in customer service for 15 + years and she was great overall. There was also a very nice gentleman with Ray Ban glasses on with gold trim, I didnt get his name, and he too, helped me make a decision on seeing which frames fit my face and looked the best. An amazing experience, and id definitely recommend this facility. βββββ
After getting sunglasses at Target Optical I was struggling with the fit. Target was uninterested in helping so my Husband suggested we give Visionworks a try and how pleased I was that they agreed to help and they did! The ladies there were so helpful and would not give up until the fit was right. Thank you!
One star is just being gracious. I was In about two weeks ago to order contacts with my brother and wanted them sent to my house address . After being there for about an hour my brother and I got everything ordered and sent to the house. Fast forward to this week my brothers contacts arrived but Iβm still waiting for mine. I finally got an email saying they were ready for pickup so I assumed they were in the mailbox (since I asked the girl to send our both to the same place) and they werenβt. I called them today (1/21/20)around 4ish and some lady answered the phone talking so fast couldnβt understand her then I told her the reason I was calling and before I could even get my sentence out she said βif you got an email come get then goodbyeβ. Mind you Iβm in college and itβs inconsiderate. In all Iβm saying this place needs people with better attitudes to answer the phone and to get things right the first time. I normally donβt write reviews but whoever she was needs to rethink working in customer service.

I have always gone to Vision Works for my glasses. They are always very helpful. However, the last time I went in to fill my Rx I had the pleasure of working with Shaneal. She was OUTSTANDING! She was totally amazing. She answered my every concern/question. What I didnt know was she a new employee! I was jaw dropped! It seemed like she had been there for years! We purchased my teens glasses from here about 3 months ago and they were very helpful and super fast completing the order (same day, within hours). They also have MANY economical frames to choose from. I have gone to other locations near by that had limited selection or only high end fancy name brands that my teens dont need and I dont want to pay for (even with insurance). Yesterday, we went back to get a repair done on my daughters glasses with bent frame pins (or whatever that part is where the arms meet the front and the pins go in) and Ciriah has us in and out of there in about 15 minutes. They were still super friendly even though I wasnt there to make a purchase! We will definitely be going back for our glasses here, year after year. The employees at this location actually care about you as a person. Youre not just a number. Thanks for making our experiences pleasurable.

Shaneal was very helpful in helping my daughter find glasses. She greeted us as soon as we walked in the door and helped us get a prescription from another location within 2 minutes. Even on a busy Saturday she took the time to help us find the perfect pair of glasses. She knew exactly where the right size frames were within the 100βs of frames they have. I walked into this place yesterday to find my sister a new frame for her glasses that she had sat on and twisted where one lens fell out and the frame part on the bottom had broken. The gentleman there said she didnβt need a new frame that he could just repair this one. Was amazed that it could be done. He did a perfect job! Was told at another place she would have to buy new frames. This place is awesome. Would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Worst experience! Had I not contacted them four days after the promise date, I would have not known that my glasses had come in. At pickup, the lady could not properly adjust my frame. She made it so much worse! Not once did she apologize for any of it. Talk about service recovery. Completely unprofessional.

I wish I had the same experience everyone else did in these comments. Did not feel welcomed. We were not greeted. We just kept getting stared at like they wanted us to leave. They werent yet closed but yet they were closing down the register. Once we finally picked out frames with no help from anyone. They couldnt find the prescription? Very unorganized and unprofessional. Will return to see if we can get a copy of our lost prescription but will not buy frames from this place.
