Dr. Nguyen at the next door (FAMILY VISION CENTRE) is good at helping you for your eye exam. They are more business oriented and charge you more than what you normally pay in other facilities for the same test, with out giving any proper explanation. The two ladies at the reception area dont know what they are charging you for. I went for an eye exam and they charged me initially $90, for the co-pay with insurance, then on questioning $ 70, double the amount of co-pay I normally pay. It was a routine eye exam that I went for, and they are saying I need to pay my medical insurance co-pay and the co pay for the vision test. It is always worth checking the price with them first before you even you use this facility. They will charge you any amount they like, disappointing business!!!!

The guy who helped me was great and even helped me pick out the best frames for my face and gave me awesome facts about my prescription. He really knows his stuff!

Excellent experience. The eye exam (Dr. Nguyen next door) was quick and the associates very courteous. Sharon, the vision manager in Walmart, helped me select the frames and verify the insurance provider (which was not easy). It took a lot of her time to figure it all out. But she was determined and was successful. I suspect any other vision company would have given up and sent me away. Not Sharon. Ask for her! And Glinys was so nice when I picked up the glasses. Great job overall.

I went here to purchase contacts. I was greeted and assisted by a staff member. Unfortunately I did not have a printed copy of my contact prescription so they really could not help me. They do not have a way for you to email it either. So just be prepared before you arrive. I was able to get what I needed from the Sams Club down the street.

Not patient. Doctor Nguyen gave me a prescription that was horrible and way off from my old prescription.

I being client in this Walmart for years we bought our glades always there Sharon has been incredible attentive always willing to put an extra effort . I believe it is the exemple in how treat your clientele with respect and professionalism

The receptionist and the assistant are rude and not kid friendly.. Dr. Ukegbu shes awesome and polite. The receptionist didnt inform me before the doctor saw my kids about the dilation charge... After I was seen and sitting in the waiting room she inform another customer while I was sitting right there about the charge before customer saw the doctor.

Terrible Service! The Manager, Sharon, was rude and unhelpful. If you can, avoid this Vision center. Dont confuse the Vision center with Dr. Nguyen whose office is adjacent. I found his services to be entirely pleasant.

Stay away! Terrible customer service and hidden costs. They advertise $65 for an eye exam - and once you get started they tack on extra costs. Ended up paying $110 for a simple 20 min eye exam by an optometrist. You kidding me? Waaaay over priced. And in Walmart!

Worst Place to come on weekends to get your kids check up. They dont take medicaid. Who knows why. Expect you to come on week days when I work and kids are in school and expect you to be there before 4:30 pm. Ladies in office do not acknowledge you when you come in.

They charge for EVERYTHING! Went there thinking all I was going to pay was $15 for my copay, I lefted there spending $70 bucks after they used my insurance and I have very good Insurance smh!

BEWARE, these people are cheats and liars. Even when I told them I did not want my son to get his eyes dilated, they still did it and charged me extra saying they saw something in his eyes. Also charged me a co-pay when my insurance says that eye exams were free. Trying to make money both from insurance and patients. Shame on them for being so scrupulous, and UNETHICAL!!!!!!!!!!!!

On January 10, 2015, I purchased glasses for my son from Store 3572. At the time that I ordered the glasses using our insurance, the vision center took a Pupillary Distance (PD) measurement. The associate failed to note the PD on our documents. Today, we requested it and were refused. I was told that they would not give it to us even in person as it is against their policy. I find it hard to understand how any organization believes it has the right to deny personal information to a client/patient that they service. Further, it is very unprofessional to cite HIPPA as if it is a law that gives them the right to hold patient information hostage from the actual patient based on what may or may not be a company policy. We plan to request the information in person in this week and if denied again I will file a grievance with our insurance company concerning the prior claim for service and product so that they are aware of the how this Walmart Vision and this location conducts itself.

Im rating this Walmart vision center cause Im sitting here 8/22/2019 right now waiting to get help for over an hour. Many people are waiting. There are three people working but only is waiting on the customers. This has got to be the sadest service I have ever seen.

Worst customer service ever. Worse than any other walmart vision center.
