This is our fourth Lexus RX-350 lease, the last three with Lexus at Newport. Excellent service, found us the vehicle we wanted, and got through the paperwork quickly. Summer Curry did all four of our leases. She is fantastic, efficient, and extremely helpful in making our decisions. She first worked at Riverside Lexus but we followed her to Newport because of how well she treated us. As for the car, this is our fourth RX-350. Enough said, they only get better. Highly reliable, functional, and nice looking.

We bought our first Lexus with the help of Mo. He was able to answer all of our questions, educate us about the buying process, and helped us find the perfect car. We purchased a 2018 IS300. Waiting time for the financing manager was longer than expected, but the overall experience met our standards. Well be purchasing from Lexus again in the future.

Worked with Kevin an advisor, only got a 5000k 6 month fluid checks and rotation. So far so good after purchasing my IS 300, no issues or problem. Newport is welcoming and service is quick. Waiting on future and see once encountered an issue, is when the real service comes!
We have been customers of the Newport Lexus Service Department for over 12 years, and over the last 7 or 8 years with the guidance of Joey Wilchek. Joey has always been forthright about what our vehicle needs, what can wait and what cannot, and stays in touch throughout the servicing. I usually shun dealership service departments but can endorse this one - their prices are fair and their performance is on time.
I go to Newport Lexus for every service I need and they never disappoint! Customer service is always top notch and I’ve never had any issues. They’ve picked me up and given me rides home, they’ve given me a loaner, whatever you need to make it as easy as possible they do it! Your car comes back better, and cleaner lol, then you drop it off :)
Had a small oil leak under extended warranty. And was going in to get normal 70K check. Joey immediately gave me a newer Lexus SUV loaner, called me with a couple of hours and indicated it would be a few days to order parts, cure the gasket, and return it fixed. Every commitment they made they kept, really important to me. He called me when ready. Just excellent communication and very happy with all service that I have gotten there over past 4 years since buying my Lexus there. Joey and Newport Lexus, do what they say they are going to do. I will be back for Service and to buy again if I chose a Lexus on my next car. Excellent treatment all the way around.
But for the intervention of A.J. DAmato III (I am willing to guess is that he as an ownership stake in this dealership as he acted very promptly on my request), I would give this place zero or negative stars if I could! Without a doubt, this place has been the worst experience that I have had when purchasing a car, especially a Lexus.Since I have been a very satisfied Lexus owner since 2000 (this is my fifth Lexus) and because the car was a certified car, I bought a Certified Lexus LS 460 F Sport sight unseen and without any test drive as I live in Northern California and the dealership is located in Southern California. The staff were very attentive and responsive TILL I bought the car!! I paid the asking price of $45658 for the car and an additional $525 to have the car shipped to me.After the purchase agreement was made, they completely dropped the ball with absolutely NO contact or update about the transaction or the delivery of the car. (A more detailed review is left on Yelp due to word limitations on this forum). I had to send multiple texts, phone calls, and emails to elicit a response from the staff, and that too incomplete and frustrating responses.The car finally arrived this morning after some delays BUT none of the stickers from the car have been removed though the salesperson assured me that everything would be removed and the car would be delivered in a clean fashion; furthermore, there was some trash in the passenger side of the car (minor issue but one would think that the dealership would have taken care of this) -- please see the attached pictures! This is the last straw for me as I now have to take the car to my Lexus dealer and have all of the stickers removed.Needless to say, the whole experience has left a very bad taste in the mouth though the car itself is an absolute beauty (thanks to the legendary Lexus quality and build). We have purchased two other cars from dealers in Washington state and in Texas (we like to buy certified cars with low miles) and in both instances, the dealers went out of their way to make sure that the purchase process was smooth and that the cars were shipped in a timely and satisfactory manner!It would be an understatement if I said that the staff at this dealership treated this $45k car purchase with such nonchalance and indifference (after the purchase agreement was made) as if we were buying some grocery item or CD from Amazon. In fairness to Amazon, I will unequivocally state that they have exhibited more customer-centricity even when we purchased low-priced commodity items from them!I hope this lengthy and detailed review (please read on Yelp also) underscores my frustrations as well as dissatisfaction with the whole experience. Maybe, the staff would have paid more attention had I purchased the car in-person, but they better realize that more and more (savvy) shoppers will purchase online or from non-traditional channels such as Carvana, Vroom, Shift, etc. I have had all of my cars exclusively serviced at Magnussens Lexus of Fremont over the last 20 years, and they have always provided me exceptional service (keeping in line with the companys brand promise and quality standards). So, it is doubly dissatisfying to experience such mediocre, and quite frankly, downright unacceptable service.I will be posting my review on the Lexus feedback survey as well, but I request that the owners (and top management) of the dealership, please please sensitize the staff to the importance of customer service and satisfaction, especially in the last mile of these high touch, high involvement purchase situations! Indifference, nonchalance and a transactional attitude of make the sale and dont care after that is the surest way to spoil brand equity and desirability; something that this company has relentlessly built over the last 30 plus years! Please have your staff read about agency theory and hopefully, they will get my point. I will continue to be a Lexus owner but I will not recommend & most definitely WILL NOT be a repeat customer!!

Maria made it such a pleasure to buy a car. We went to the Newport dealership because it had the largest inventory of the car we were looking for. We met Maria and she was lovely. We test drove two cars, since it was our first day looking we let her know we wouldn’t be making a decision right away and she was very understanding. We did go to other dealerships, and though they did have great customer service we just didn’t quite find what we were looking for, then we got the call from Maria that she had found exactly what we were looking for. We came for a test drive, and even though we were pretty sure we wanted it, we still wanted to think about it overnight. Again, Maria was completely understanding. I thought car salesmen/women were supposed to be pushy but Maria was anything but, even going as far as to come in the next day to finalize the deal on her day off. She made the experience such a pleasure! We also worked with Sylvia in the finance department and she was very nice as well, very knowledgeable and patient.

While I purchased my UX250h from another dealer, I chose Newport Lexus service department specifically because they are GREAT. We have been servicing our original Lexus with Newport for over 20yrs. When we traded that in, we continued to go to Newport for service. Then, I purchased my new Lexus and my 5000 mile service went to Newport Lexus. I have owned Mercedes and BMWs and every time I had my car serviced, I felt like an ugly stepchild. I was always upset that my family had superior service at Newport for their Lexus. Finally, I decided to purchase my UX250h. I WAS SO HAPPY when I drove up Monday at 7am. While there was a line of cars, I was immediately approached and told Id be helped. It took less than 10 mins. I was escorted to my service provider Kevin who is now our family service person now. I was treated as a real customer. I even was able to receive a loaner which with every other dealership I was either told we dont do that (fletcher jones, irvine bmw) or made to feel bad asking. Yet, I would see all these businessMEN getting loaners. SO, THANK YOU NEWPORT LEXUS and KEVIN NESSL for just taking it to the next level for me. You all delivered.
I have only positive experience with this dealership. I purchased pre-owned car from them. Whole process took just few hours to find the best financing options and sign all documents. Ben Alimo is niciest sales person that I worked with. And Roger from financing team made the whole signing process seamless.
First of all, not customer friendly! Second, brought a practically new top of class model to them to fix a recall, address low tire pressure light (spare tire), fix grinding noise (assumed brakes), 12 month maintenance. Truck hasn’t be driven, garaged for almost 9 months. Said they didn’t have loaner cars available, when I arrive had many loaners available…after I picked up, contrary to paperwork that said they road tested, light was still on! No mention of the brake issue. When ask whats the deal, they ask me to leave it with them and come back. Cmon, they weren’t busy based on the sparse clients around, gave them a whole extra day more that they said they need. Bad customer service culture, I’m sure there has been a decline in sales, one of the indicators that usually shows up. I never post reviews but, I thought they were better than this!
Service Manager was polite and quick in checking me in. He was, informative as to when my car would be ready. And when it was ready he found me in the showroom. It was great to get in and out within an hour.
I always take my car to Newport Lexus for service, because the people there are always so very nice, they keep you up dated on when you car will be ready, they make you aware of all repairs needed before making the repair.They have a very comfortable waiting area if you want to wait or you can request a loaner car. Quick support in the drive, their system pulls up all pertinent info for the Service Writer and it is available when you sit down to see what needs to be done. Picking the vehicle up on return is the same!Friendly, efficient, all paperwork is ready when you arrive, including loaner documents and delivery is equally impressive.Most efficient and professional service I have ever received!!!

This review is based on experience in early July 2018.I had a great experience with and at Newport Lexus - mostly thanks to Nasser - and would highly recommend Nasser and the team to friends and family who are interested in a Lexus.My interaction with Newport Lexus started with an email on their website. After doing some research on the new 2018 LS 500, I contacted the dealership via their website to see whether Newport Lexus would be able to make a more competitive offer. Within the first hour of sending the email, I got a phone call from Natalie. She transferred me to Nasser, whom I quickly felt comfortable with and agreed to meet at the dealership when I am back in town that Sunday.When I went into the dealership on Sunday, Nasser was every bit as professional and helpful as he had been on the phone. Long story short, I left the dealership on the same day with a signed 36/12 lease of a 2018 LS 500 at an even more competitive purchase price.I was ready to go through the usual negotiation cycle involving leaving and coming back; Nasser and his manager made it unnecessary. Glad that I worked with Newport Lexus.
I took my car to get serviced and I have never received better customer service. I really dont like dealing with car maintenance but Newport Lexus provides a quick and easy experience. Everyone was extremely friendly. I also love that they provide a free loaner car.
I had visited multiple Lexus dealerships in search of a vehicle with no luck. Either the inventory was low or the sales representative was not a good fit. I called Newport Lexus and spoke with Gary K before driving to the dealership. Once I arrived, Gary showed me a number of vehicles and was able to explain and demonstrate the features of the vehicle. He even corrected misinformation that was provided by sales representatives at other locations. He was upfront, honest and didnt apply any pressure tactics. Hes followed up post sale, arranged for additional service and has been open to questions about the vehicle. Hes been true to his word on being available after the sale. We drove there yesterday we’re starting to look for a new car and we love Lexus. We came to Newport Beach Lexus because of their excellent reputation, and I have to say the dealership is very beautiful. Unfortunately our experience wasn’t what we expected or deserved, there was a sales person we dealt with and we felt like he was more interested in just rushing us into a car then answering our questions. It was very aggravating for us because we were trying to ask questions we wanted to know details we are familiar with Lexus we have family members who have them but we wanted our questions answered. It’s sad that we learned more on YouTube then we did in person, the other issue that we had was we would like to pay cash for our car we do not need financing we do not want financing and we felt like we were less than and looked down upon, the sales person kept repeating the 0.9 financing even when we told him we were going to write a check. So in the future I’m not sure we would come back to this Lexus unless things were done differently, even when I went to Mazda they were more than happy to talk to us be with us look at the car answer our questions they did not push the financing we wrote a check and we were happy.

I really like this dealership for all of my service issues. I have been coming here for the past 6 years. They had to rebuild my entire exhaust system because I lived in a snowy area for years and it was all rusted. They did it very quickly and efficiently and the drive on my then Is250 was much better. Now I have an RX350 and my first 2 services were included in the lease. It was very efficient, I just dropped my car off and they gave me a complimentary loaner car. Total time I spent at the dealership service center including picking up my car was less than 15 minutes. For me time is a priority and that was key for me. I’ll stick with Newport Lexus going forward.

WOW!!! What an amazing experience. Chris and Gary were patient and helpful. Answering all my (and my kids) questions. Even though I was only looking at more entry level models (UX, NX & ES and I purchased the UX 250h) I still felt as important as any customer. The delievry process was the best I have ever experienced, Chris patiently spent and hour sitting in the car with me demonstrating the features of the UX. Couldnt believe it. Amazing service. Their service department is the best in town ! Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable, but Albert Lara is exceptional. He knows cars well, so when you take your car in for one issue, he would have other possible affected areas to look at also, so it saves you the further aggravation and trouble to have to bring your car in again when the problems appear down the road, most importantly, the extra steps would help to restore your vehicle to its best possible condition; but if an issue is not imminent, he would advise you to wait on repairing it. My husband was a non believer in their service at first because of the stigma that car salesmen carry, but over the years, even my husband has developed a trust in Albert.
