Land Rover Sold us a Lemon that has been in the shop for 4 months out of the last year. Had to rent a car for 7 weeks when it broke down in Nor Cal and we had to pay for it out of my pocket. This happened right after our car got service at the Newport Beach location we’re we usually take it. We Never got reimbursed from the dealership or Land Rover. If a car keeps breaking down you would expect and hope that the company would find a solution and help out!!Have emailed the GM Steve multiple times and never got an email or call back. Bad customer service from top to bottom. Would expect more from a company and dealership like this. Highly recommend you find a different dealership that has better customer service and actually cares!!Even the SOS button didn’t work for us when we needed the most! Such a joke!
Unsatisfied with service advisor. he never picked up my phone. I had to visit this location for my car status. I also had an extended warranty. He asked me to contact salesperson to replace damaged parts with new one (instead of refurbished one).

The most unprofessional and scummy experience I have ever dealt with regarding a luxury car dealership and salespeople. Please don’t bother wasting your time thinking, reserving, and dreaming about a car because this place will sell it to anyone right out from underneath you. I was sitting there in a car that someone else was already in financing for, and then car salesmen told me he could get in an offer faster than they could. This was on a car I reserved the day before and showed up to see when I was scheduled. What kind of place is this? If I wanted to bid on a car like that, I would go to an auction. I’m a local person to the area and would be a customer for life. They don’t care. It’s first come, first serve to them.
First time Range Rover buyer and I dont think Ill ever go back to anything else! Ive had a total of 9 new cars over the years and the experience I had with Jaguar Land Rover Newport Beach was beyond outstanding!I reached out over the weekend about a specific Range Rover I saw in their online inventory. When reaching out I was very specific and upfront with my information (this is my credit score, monthly income, etc -- so what can we do?). I did not want to waste mine or their time.I was contacted soon after by Ahmed. Not only was Ahmed helpful and informative, but he was also really on top of the communication since I mentioned I was on a time crunch. I wanted to get everything done over the phone/online and then just come in, say hi, sign some papers, and drive away. Ahmed made the process super easy but he was also just great to work with. Friendly and welcoming, which helped form that connection with a new client -- and I really, really appreciated that!Would also like to give kudos to Todd, the finance manager! Todd knew I was on a bit of a time crunch and made the final process quick, but still informative and super friendly.I couldnt be happier with my experience and Im excited for my new Range Rover Sport. My Discovery got a serious water damage when I was towing my boat, so on my day off I decided to swing by the Newport dealership just to see what they have in stock.A beautiful lady who’s name Kristina White was introduced to me at the store as my sales adviser.It took me eventually about 2 weeks to decide on getting a car and multiple visits to this dealership. I originally wanted to get Range Rover big boy if my Discovery was a total loss (which it did).Kristina was extremely patient and knowledgeable about the inventory and the financing options. She helped me make an informed decision about the car that was right for me and my budget. I ended up switching from RR to the new model Defender, which fitted my lifestyle way better. I am a boater and always keep lot’s off stuff in my cars. I am loving this car, everything worked out just perfectly.Thanks Kristina for your help and all the guys at the dealership. Land Rover Newport Beach has by far the best selection of new and pre-owned Land Rovers. I drove for more than an hour to visit the dealership and it was definitely worth the trip. They also provided excellent customer service.Allen Johnson helped me choose the right vehicle and provided excellent service and made me feel very comfortable while making the purchase. DO NOT WORK WITH ALLEN JOHNSON. Came in today to return my lease and shop for a new car. Was not greeted by any of the men sitting at their desks, until Allen Johnson approached me. I told him I was here to return my car, and he responded with “I CANT HEAR YOU.” For luxury car dealership such as Land Rover, you would expect the employees to be educated in service and well mannered enough to reply with remarks such as “excuse me” or “sorry” when you don’t catch what people say. When I repeated louder, he rolled his eyes and said “I HEARD YOU!”He told us to sit down at his desk, and then he told us, “You need to go get your registration and mileage.” Why would you ask someone to sit down and tell them to get right back up and retrieve items from the car? This man has some talent in displeasing guests within 30 seconds of exchanging a couple sentences.After deciding I could no longer work with this extremely rude man, I asked to work with someone else and he delightfully responded “Please, be my guest.”So Allen, if you didn’t want to work with me from the beginning, why did you even approach me? Clearly you are not in the mood to work today, why are you going out of your way to take your anger out on your guests?The lady at the reception desk kindly redirected me to someone else, Kian, who was kind enough to walk us back to our car and get the odometer reading himself.Overall, customer service here is nonexistent for guests who are not here for a new car. I came to the exact same dealership with I signed my car, and received a completely difference level of service. Before my experience with Allen Johnson, I was open to signing a new Range Rover but because his rudeness was unacceptable, I will be avoiding this dealership entirely. So if you are not here to explicitly shop for a new car, prepare yourself to be greeted with nothing but hostility.

As difficult as car buying can be Kristina made this an easy, almost flawless, and really fun experience.We came in at the dealership to check the new F-type Jaguars with my partner. There was an I-pace event going on that day at the store. Kristina suggested that we give it a try and take the car on a test drive. We had no idea what I-pace was before we came to the store nor we were planning on getting one.After the test drive I fell in love immediately with the car. However, it was quite a lot above our budget and my partner was perfectly content with his 2017 F-pace.Kristina assured us that if we love the car she will find the way to make it work. Eventually, we traded in the F-pace and got back home on a new I-Pace.Quite frankly, the only problem we had it was a bit of a struggle to figure out this car, everything is completely different with an electric car. I spent a lot of time with Kristina on the phone trying to figure how to change it, after we purchased it.I absolutely love this car. WARNING they are stealership5 star for Sales but NEGATIVE star for financeSold my car 5/29/21 and as of today 6/17/21 still havent received my equity check.Called Finance Manager and they gave me a bunch of excuses with no definite answer when they will cut the check.They are already selling my car in their website while refusing to pay me. is this fraud?🤬This is my 3rd LR, LR Pasadena cut me the equity once I sold the car to them on spot.BE WARNED!

Walked into Land Rover in Newport after going to 8 dealerships that day. I met with Ahmed Younes, was straight to the point and direct about what I wanted and what I was willing to pay for it. Ahmed really helped me out deciding between a few models, gave me his honest feedback and thoughts about which was the better vehicle and value, and I walked out of there with a new ride and feeling like I got the best deal ever. In all seriousness, he is honest and willing to work with you to get you into your dream car. He is the man and I will absolutely being going back to him for my next car.

Just 2 days ago we bought our first Range Rover Sport. So excited! We have owned Mercedes, Lexus and Volvos and I have to say Range Rover rocks. Such a great experience with Kristina White who had patience beyond.We had no appointment before coming into the store but Kristina said that it was not a problem. She had no expectations from us buying a car that same day (as many sales people expect you to) and asked if we wanted to take a car for the test drive. I was looking specifically for a 2018 Range Rover Sport. I found that Newport dealership had the largest inventory of pre owned Range Rovers in California so I went to check what they had in person about 2 weeks ago. The Russian lady who’s name is Kristina was my initial sales person, she was cool and showed me a few options. All cars were in perfect condition, but we had to spend some time on finding the right financing option for me.Kristina stayed in touch with me after I left the store without being too annoying like many car sales could be.I eventually came back to the store a couple weeks later and her college James helped me out to finalize the deal, smart kid.Thank you guys, Ahmed.
If I could give zero stars, I wouldHad a scheduled appointment with Eric for a test drive, he didnt showdealership had me park in the fire lane as there was no parking on the lotsales manager Jeff Rawlins offered a test drive in a filthy car, then reschedule me to come back - when I arrived the second time, parked in the fire lane, the car he asked me to come back and drive was being sold - no phone call, a complete waste of time, horrible dealershipbought a Tesla instead - much better service

Awful service no parking, i have to go around 2 times the parking lot and finally found one, almost got hit by an employee in the packing lot, one inside i ask for a sales person never show up i ask 3 times never happen, I went to Anaheim hill range rover and bought a $120,000 range rover sport better customer service took me about 1 hour to get my dream car

I have been shopping around to lease a Range Rover for our 23rd anniversary for couple of weeks and called a numerous dealerships.Went to Anaheim Hills Land Rover and what a waste of time that was. They were all charging top dollar on the 2020s nothing less then $1350 a month with $5k down. After a lot of research browsing through a bunch of websites I ran into Newport Land Rover and my experience was phenomenal. They smoked their competition and offered an amazing deal with affordable down payment. The transaction was really smooth and painless took less than couple of hours. Gotta give a shout-out to Ahmed Younes (salesman) for his exceptional service. He went above and beyond his call of duty by providing complimentary Merch and bow for the Range Rover which totally made my night and made it for a great surprise for my wife. The finance manager K O Olanisa was also very helpful and did not force any products. I will definitely recommend Newport Land Rover to family and friends and they do have the best deals in So. Cal.
Out of state buyers beware!This dealership does not know how to help customers out of state and will leave you hanging without required documentation to title your car.I recently purchased a Jaguar XF Sportbrake from Heath. This is my fourth purchase from out of my home state of Florida. Never before have I had any issues, but I must have been lucky with getting good dealers. This dealership is not one of them.After paying for the car in cash, shipping was delayed by over six days due to dealership paperwork issues. I had to submit several rounds of signed documents only for those to be deemed incorrect and have to resubmit again. The dealer has random requirements like submitting signatures and notarized proof of delivery of the vehicle out of state, even though they were the ones who sold and put it on the delivery truck. Incredibly frustrating but it got worse.Once the car arrived, weeks after I had paid for it, it was delivered without a temporary tag or a title/MSO. This means the car is impossible for me to register, as it needs to be physically present at the DMV for an odometer disclosure and must have the title/MSO with the car.Without a temp tag it can’t even be parked on the street. So the car is now sitting in the driveway with no resolution in sight.When contacting the dealership I was told that this is my problem and not theirs.Terrible customer service and a sign of serious problems at this dealership. Steer clear (especially if you are from out of state) and purchase from someone who knows what they are doing.

Do Not Waste Your Time Here.Here’s my story. I called 2 days before to schedule an appointment with a sales person to help me pick a range rover and then build one to order. Everything was going good. After the build process on the computer my total came out to a little over 180k. I told them that before I order I want to see the exterior color options in person. Color Samples. And I understand that it’s a new temporary location so getting that samples will take some time.this was Friday, sales said he would contact the GM and the I should hear back from him on Monday. So I was very excited for Monday to come. I did not receive any follow up. I actually followed up and was told that still waiting on GM till tomorrow & waiting on the manufacturer. Ok I thought, no problem I can wait till Tuesday... I follow up on Tuesday close to 7pm. I ask for an update and I get “No, i will check with GM in the morning”. I say “okay thank you”At this point i’m a little frustrated, there’s no customer service here. And I’m the one following up! Then I texted Wednesday morning. And my sales told me that he’s “heading to work will ask ASAP”.I’m thinking finally okay great! But NOPE! I texted him again to follow up at 8pm. almost 10 hours later...Here’s his response “I know he talked to manufacture rep”Seriously? That’s a terrible excuse & as a business person I expected better from the #1 Land Rover dealership in the U.S. Come on don’t make me laugh!And I was told Monday or late Tuesday Id have an answer on the color samples. This is BASIC stuff. Very very basic request I am asking before I order. How hard is it to buy? There’s no sales motivation, I am the one motivating the sales and I’m the Consumer! How is this even real? I trying really hard to buy your higher end models and it’s this difficult. And it’s just simple colors. Who is actually running management here?Fellow buyers. If you made it this far on my review please drive to a different dealership. It’s worth the extra minutes. Because all you’ll get here is excuses and time wasted. If you’re going to spend your hard earned money make sure it’s with a place that will give you the customer service you deserve. This place does not represent Land Rover. Buying a new vehicle should be a fun experience. There’s no need to come here unhappy and leave even more unhappy. Just read the reviews from the service department on Yelp. They are align with each other. But don’t worry because even if you buy somewhere else they don’t care. They are #1 in the U.S!
