Beautiful car and wife loves it! The sales process started off with a few bumps related to miscommunication between the sales team members, but when the GM Rob Bennett got involved, it was smooth sailing and transparency from there on out. Could not be happier with Rob and his desire to create relationships, not just sell cars. The cars are amazing, but service is just as important, and Rob gets it. He is a big part of the reason I will remain a loyal Rover and Jaguar owner for years to come.
I just purchased a Mercedes AMG GT from them and had a great experience. First off my wife and I arrived at the dealership at 5:35 PM on Sunday, 25 minutes before closing. All sales reps were busy but nevertheless we were greeted by Gustavo within 30 seconds of arriving. He asked if he could help, we expressed interest in the car and he politely asked us to wait on min to check back with a customer he was assisting inside. He came back out and my wife asked if we could drive the car and without any hassle or he allowed both of us to drive it. We appreciated him being so accommodating especially 15 minutes before closing. The next day on his day off he negotiated the deal we asked for and on Tuesday we bought the car. The purchase was a breeze and everyone we dealt with was very friendly and personable. My wife and I noticed how diverse their workplace is and the great vibe. It was our favorite dealership experience ever. We were treated like family. I will highly recommend them and especially Gustavo Velasquez.
I loathe the car buying experience but these guys made it more enjoyable. Our sales rep, Tony Morago was great to work with. There was no hard sell at all. He listened to our requests and showed us cars that fit our needs and budget! Even after the sale, he helped me with some additional requests. I recommend working with him!
I purchased an F Type R from Newport Beach Jaguar Land Rover (NBJL) in February, and am writing this review so that I may recount my experience, which fell short of meeting reasonable expectations. The car was listed for sale on the NBJL website, and I placed a call to discuss the car. My call was handled promptly and all questions were appropriately answered. I am from NJ, so I asked about shipping the vehicle, and was told that it would not be a problem, we do this all the time. The car was advertised with 796 miles on the odometer. I was told that this was a dealer executive car, and was in excellent condition. No mention of any cosmetic defects was made. I paid a deposit for the sale on February 2, 2018, and we began to make arrangements for the car to be sold and shipped to NJ. The NBJL sales associate I worked with was Lalit Hemrajani. The car arrived in NJ on February 15, but because of scheduling arrangements, I was not able to retrieve the car until February 19. Since 2/19 was a holiday, the car could not be delivered to my home. Instead I went to the shipping holding area to retrieve the car and drive it home myself. The accompanying photos amply illustrate the condition of the car upon delivery. In addition to the cosmetic damage to the car’s finish, there were 12 accumulated miles on the car’s odometer, which have not been accounted for. The odometer mileage on 2/2/18 was 796; when I received it on 2/19/18, the mileage was 802. I don’t know how or why the car was driven 12 miles to load it on a trailer, but that seems excessive to me.I immediately placed a call to NBJL, and spoke with management, Scott McCloud specifically. Mr. McCloud apologized for the condition of the car, and confirmed that it should have not been shipped via open carrier. I was told to accept delivery of the car and make arrangements to have the car cleaned up and make any necessary cosmetic repairs. I was assured in writing via email that NBJL would cover the expenses of the work. Mr. McCloud even mentioned that the car had scratches in the paint when I purchased the car, but I argued that no such defects were disclosed to me at the time of purchase, and I told him that he was not being completely honest with me.The restorative work was completed on 3/9/18. The total costs for the restorative work were $1,739.40 (which included $300.00 to return the car to my home via closed transport). In addition to this amount, I requested reimbursement for a wheel lock key that was not provided to me; the key was required to remove the wheels so that the wheels and wheel wells could be properly cleaned; the key was an additional $32.25.I presented the invoices to Mr. McCloud on 3/15/18 for his review and reimbursement of the work required to clean up the damage the car incurred from open transport across the country during winter months. I also did not receive a spare key with the car, and the rear hatch tonneau cover was missing. I’ve asked for these two items to be replaced. The invoices were re-submitted to Mr. McCloud on 3/27/18 at his request, because his email system was purged and he lost the invoices. I followed up with Mr. McCloud on 4/7/18, 4/10/18, and 4/19/18. As of today, 4/25, I have not received reimbursement for the corrective work required to repair the car I purchased with fewer than 800 miles!Overall I am happy with the car, but will not recommend this dealership for Internet sales. The attention to detail that is expected when purchasing a luxury car of this type was missing from this dealership. Shipping was substandard and their lack of accountability is appalling. I purchased the car for approximately $84,000, and for them to ignore my reimbursement request is disappointing. With the availability of so many other dealerships, I would avoid NBJL for any internet-related sales.
Thank you Ahmed, Jeff, and Omar for your outstanding help in this long distance purchase. You guys were great and it was much appreciated. Happy New Year !
Don’t trust this dealer. Via email, I made an offer on a car they were selling. The salesman emailed saying the best his manager would agree to was $X, and I said I’d take the car, and will come the following day at noon to pick it up. The salesman said they would hold the car for me, and scheduled an outlook appointment for me to get it the following day. 20 minutes later, the salesman called me, saying he’s sorry, but they were in the process of selling the car to someone else. Typical used car salesman move. Stay away.
I love my new car a Range Rover Evoque. I got exactly the one I wanted with all the extras and the big fat black wheels. Its a great car and I highly recommend it. What made the whole process so good was my sales rep Ahmed. From the moment I spoke to him on the phone to actually meeting him he was exactly the same. Charming, friendly and mostly made me feel like he had my best interest at heart. He got me exactly what I wanted and at a great deal. I have had many cars in the past and have dealt with many sales reps and although they are mostly all friendly, Ahmed made me feel like he actually cared about what I wanted and how to get it. So again thank you for great service and a great car.
Wow this is the best experience I’ve had at a car dealership by far. We didn’t purchase the top of the line JAGUAR but we were treated like royalty. Gustavo was on top of everything and made this the best experience ever, from the way the deal went to the big bow presentation at the end. Alao, the car was pulled into a VIP area and they went over the it from top to bottom.I even recommended this car dealership to my insurance company as the rep talked snout how nice the car was when I called to add to my policy.
Jaguar Land Rover of Newport Beach is the way to go! Find Amir, he will make your car buying experience the easiest and best! He was patient with me, but quick with the paper work. Robb (manager) made sure I was content with the F-Type they were selling me, gave me confidence in trusting them, and overall made my experience great! Todd in financing made it easy and comfortable for me and was a joy to do business with. Omar was easy to ask questions about the car and was thorough in teaching me about the car. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful! As a Hot Wheels designer who loves cars, these guys made my F-Type buying experience a dream and not a nightmare, 11/10!
Go to another dealership for service! AVOID THIS PLACE! I have been going to this dealership since we bought our Range Rover Sport. They have done all the services and repairs to my car. In the past, they were very polite and professional and made me feel like I was getting what I had paid for. Today, I dropped off the same car, to the same service advisor (Steve Cervantes) and mentioned what I needed it done... breaks, oil, and rattling sound from the trunk. He tried selling me some service package, which consists of 4 break line changes, oil service, and a couple of filter changes, for $1430. When I asked if that included the breaks, he said no! And on top of that, quoted me $215 just to see where the rattling sound is coming from. When I turned down the $1430 service, he immediately tuned me out. When I booked the appointment, I had also booked a loaner car. He said that he would honor it this time, but they dont usually give loaner cars just for oil service. DOES THIS GUY NOT LISTEN!!! Ive asked for the oil service, Ive asked for a repair service for the rattling hatch in the trunk, and the breaks to be check...which I know is due and was going to have it done.At this point, Im just so disappointed in the low level of service. Im actually closer to the Anaheim Hill Land Rover dealership. I always enjoyed driving down to Newport Beach Land Rover because they used to be really helpful. I guess Ill be trying the other dealerships now. Also, I guess this dealership is making so much money because it seems that they are okay with their employees acting rude and losing business. The only saving grace for the day is that the loaner car company, Enterprise, has really excellent service. They were helpful and efficient, not to mention, professional!
I am delighted with my purchase from Land Rover Newport Beach. I live in Lake Tahoe and purchased a used car without first seeing it. Throughout the remote transaction, my sales person, Ian, instilled confidence with prompt, thorough and personalized communication. When I arrived in Orange County, he provided white glove service, the car was impeccable, and the transaction was seamless. Nate from Finance was also wonderful, making my all-around experience 5-star. Thanks, team. I love my new Audi and highly recommend this dealership to anyone considering a new or used car.
I recently purchased a 2016 Range Rover Evoque from Ahmed Younes at Jaguar Land Rover in Newport Beach and I couldnt be happier with the service. Ahmed is a very experienced salesman and was very professional in giving me all the details and insights I needed to know about the car. Robb Bennett, the Sales Manager was also incredible in helping me get the best possible finance deal. Highly recommended!
Jaguar of Newport Beach has delivered first class customer service every time I’ve done business with them. I got my first F Type with them 3 years ago and they were the only dealership from Los Angeles to San Diego, who worked with me to make sure I get the car I want. I recently turned that car in to lease the new 2020 F Type and the customer service was exactly as good as the first time. Darius made the process seamless. He also followed up with me, after I got the car, to make sure everything is going well! Overall, a very pleasant experience and completely hassle free!I’m sure I’ll be a returning customer as long as this level of customer service continues!
I have to say I’ve been dealing with salesmen and car dealerships for a long time. Dealing with Ethan was nothing but a smooth experience. He was very attentive of my needs and the leasing process from start to finish was fast. He made sure I was comfortable at the dealership while I was waiting on finance. And he walked me through all of the features of my new vehicle.Don’t worry I haven’t forgotten that he got me the best available deal in all of So Cal on a Range Rover Velar. His prices can’t be beat. Thanks again brother!
I usually have a pretty good experience here but I was returning my lease today and was not happy. First I was told I couldnt return my vehicle here because their inventory is full (I called beforehand and they actually told me any jag dealer is obligated to accept cars from any dealer). I said I called and he begrudgingly said hed make a special exception for me. Then from there his attitude was just off. Treated me like I was not welcome there at all. Kind of ruined my day at that point.
FIVE STARS! We have leased multiple cars at Jaguar Land Rover Newport Beach and our experience have always been great. They have always been able to beat any other dealerships prices...Nina is awesome there and always give us the best deal. She is not pushy and does follow-up calls to make sure we are comfortable in our new cars and to see if we need an further assistance. We highly recommend going to Jaguar Land Rover Newport Beach for your next car, and ask for Nina.
Jaguar Newport Beach must be one of the worst dealerships I have step foot in. The “customer experience” is way below average. If you think you’re going to walk in and get the same customer experience that you do at Fletcher Jones Mercedes, you better just pay the extra money and buy a Mercedes Benz. NO ONE CALLS YOU BACK OR RESPONDS TO YOU EVER!I purchased a new car back in February, it was pretty late in the evening. Upon delivery the windshield had a small crack on it and the salesman told me he would fill it. Of course, he told me all the reasons why not to have my windshield replace on my brand-new car. After driving the car for a few days, I notice a terrible crackling noise coming out of the speaker. I took the car to the dealer repeatedly for 4 months straight, until they finally said my issue was not repairable and the car fell under the Lemon Law.Don’t get me started with their headquarters in New Jersey, good luck having anyone call or write you back. It took them months to finally send me an email.Overall, the dealership has been a disappointment. Sadly, this is my second car I purchased with them and they just couldn’t make it right for me. I would have been a loyal customer for life but instead, I am taking my business somewhere else (Porsche) and hired an attorney to pursue legal action to get all my money back. I would advise anyone to just go somewhere else. Not professional = No business.
Nice place very clean but, no sense of urgency to help out a buyer.Staff doesnt know its inventory. Test drove a 4 cylinder Jaguar when I got back the salesman who had Scottish accent, tried to convince me that the car was fast.
Five stars for sure! Linda and David continue to exceed my expectations. It is always a pleasure to be in there for service. They get me in and out quickly. I brag about the service department to everyone I know. I just sent Steve Brown another referral since he’s been so good to everyone I’ve ever sent him, including myself. Can’t say enough how much I appreciate their hospitality and help. Thanks Steve, Dave and Linda
I really put my sales rep Nina through a lot of back and forth deciding on the model and mode of purchase. I considered CPO purchasing, leasing low miles, leasing high miles, and she was very patient. Every time I came in, they gave me cappuccino and assured me that I could take my time and gave me her best advice on the many many aspects of the deal. Once I made the decision on the Evoque SE Premium, the features I wanted, and my interest in a lease, she was very straight forward with the terms and the offer. And she sweetened the deal at just the right time to let me know she cared. (Coffee is nice but some concessions on the deal are better) I was very pleased with the dealership itself. Great location, not too big, and it was very pleasant to wander through the Aston-Martins as needed. Nina was herself very accommodating and friendly; experienced, and she did her best to make sure I knew about the dozens of features of these wonderful cars.Shariq in finance was such a great guy. He was very open and transparent about the financing, giving me tips and confirming my understanding of my lease, and more important to me, how the deal I was getting differed with the various options. I chose pre-paid maintenance, and one question was whether to pay cash or add it to the lease, and Shariq assured me that I could go either way, and once I decided, he reinforced it with the benefits of that choice. He helped me be confident with good information.Even though I was not buying one of the higher-end models from the dealership, I always felt like my deal was just as important as if I were buying a V10 Supercharged full-sized Range Rover.
I was very excited about a car I had seen at Newport Land Rover. Being a Newport local I wanted to give my business to someone in the community knowing that they would take care of the locals . I went to the dealership to test drive two cars, one of which I was very keen on. In doing my research I found out that the car that I liked was about $5300 over priced. I sent an email to the rep telling him that I really liked the car and that if they could reduce it somewhat I would definitely consider taking it from them. The sales rep and the Internet rep reached out to me the following day to see if I was still interested in the car. I once again reiterated that the car was a little overpriced but if they could reduce the cost I would jump at the opportunity. They told me that unfortunately the best they could do was reduce it by a couple hundred dollars($200), and if I did not take it they had someone from New York City who was going to send them a cashiers check and purchase the car.I would not want anybody to lose a deal, so I told them that if they had someone that would purchase it at that price they must jump at the opportunity. The next day I go onto the Newport Land Rover website to find it this car was not sold and had been roughly reduced by $3100 after I was told they only had a couple hundred dollars to spare, which initially would definitely would have put it within my target price.Excited to see that the car had been reduced and was still on the website I reached out to Newport Land Rover the next day hoping that this will be my opportunity. I then get told that the New York opportunity had fallen through but they had sold it to someone else at the reduced price.Personally Newport Jaguar/ Land Rover have lost all credibility with me in claiming that they initially could only reduce the vehicles price by $200 to find they reduced it by $3100 the next day. From a local perspective it is very disappointing to say the least, and I would be hard pressed to trust them moving forward or recommend them to anyone. What a sad experience from such a luxury brand.
We got our new car 2 months ago and we cant be happier!! Great car and great service. We worked with Nina for the car and she was very helpful looking for the color, version and interiors we were looking and everything has been a great experience so far :)
Amazing experience from start to finish!!! We live in the SF Bay Area and were searching the entire state for a new Range Rover PHEV. We called Newport Range Rover and spoke with Neil. He had one coming in that we were looking for. The biggest WIN for us that he was able to have the rims/wheels changed to the ones we really wanted. No other dealer in the state would do this for us. We ended up flying down to Newport Beach and driving our new Range Rover home! Thank You!!!
Out of state buyers beware! This dealership does not know how to help customers out of state and will leave you hanging without required documentation to title your car.I recently purchased a Jaguar XF Sportbrake from Heath. This is my fourth purchase from out of my home state of Florida. Never before have I had any issues, but I must have been lucky with getting good dealers. This dealership is not one of them. After paying for the car in cash, shipping was delayed by over six days due to dealership paperwork issues. I had to submit several rounds of signed documents only for those to be deemed incorrect and have to resubmit again. The dealer has random requirements like submitting signatures and notarized proof of delivery of the vehicle out of state, even though they were the ones who sold and put it on the delivery truck. Incredibly frustrating but it got worse.Once the car arrived, weeks after I had paid for it, it was delivered without a temporary tag or a title/MSO. This means the car is impossible for me to register, as it needs to be physically present at the DMV for an odometer disclosure and must have the title/MSO with the car.Without a temp tag it can’t even be parked on the street. So the car is now sitting in the driveway with no resolution in sight. When contacting the dealership I was told that this is my problem and not theirs.Terrible customer service and a sign of serious problems at this dealership. Steer clear (especially if you are from out of state) and purchase from someone who knows what they are doing.
Great place. Amir was very helpful and made sure we were happy. No pressure and a great experience. Top notch service.
My first visit at the dilership didnt go that well. Came back after couple days, worked with different Sales person got the vehicle I wanted for the price I wanted. Service was great, speed of the process smooth - easy and quick. Done deal ☝️
Just got my car from the service at Range Rover dealership and it was the best experience. Eric was my advisor he went above and beyond to take care of me. Thank you Eric for making my experience so good.
I am a first time customer at Jaguar / Land Rover Newport Beach. The Sales Executive Jonathan Halliday was great to work with! He was friendly and informative. He made the entire car buying process easy.
Don’t ask the service department “ why your service is bad?” Their defaulted answer has been : 1. We sale the most 2. We are under construction, which is not related to the issue. The service manager David Elliott has NO sense of customer service, you might get a better service from a used car dealer. Although the complementary car wash and same/ better car loaner for maintenance was part of selling XJ, neither was honored. I can’t wait till I’m done with them. Will not return nor recommend.
Im grateful for the service we received, however, the staff was unable to give me reliable estimates of time. Often they indicated work that had been complete that wasnt and parts that had been received that werent when an honest response would have been appreciated and more useful. My car was in service for a month, and no one seemed to be aware of this fact except when I brought it to their attention. Even when we received the call that our car was finally ready to pick up it took over 45 minutes to get it. No one seemed to be in charge of our vehicle or clear where it was.
Jaguar Newport Beach makes choosing a new car a pleasant experience. Everyone there is so friendly and accommodating. The GM Steve Brown aims to please. I have bought 3 cars from him and Im confident there will be more purchases in the future.
I bought my 2004 Range Rover HSE new off the lot. My pride and joy that I worked very hard to afford. I paid extra to keep the warranty on it for 10 years, which is the maximum. The low mileage full size HSE has had all of the usual mechanical, electrical issues these vehicles are prone to, as reflected in their current sad values. 10 weeks ago I had an alternator failure, no biggie on a 113,000 mile vehicle. While in for its costly replacement ($1,200 for the alternator) and since the parts had to be removed to access the broken alternator anyway, I had the service department change the hoses on the radiator and replace the serpentine belts. When I got the Rover back two weeks later it ran fine for a few days, until it died because the alternator failed, again and it was running on its now dead replacement battery. Back to the dealer for warranty repair. Went to collect it a week later, the engine warning light was on. This was new, so I asked them to explain. Service advisor Luke said that the timing actuator had mysteriously failed and it was going to cost an extra $1,600 to repair. No word for another week. After pressing for status he told me, actually it wasnt the timing actuator after all it was the tensioner on the other side of the motor that was throwing the fault code, which was going to cost an additional $1,300 to repair. Three weeks later, still no word. They finally performed a leakdown test last week, (What they should have done initially), revealing the number 2 cylinder has very low compression, likely being caused by a bent valve. So now they have had the Rover for 10 weeks. They want 10k to replace the motor with a used ebay motor, plus labor at their discounted rate of $185 per hour. They also insist on being paid for the parts they have needlessly installed, after misdiagnosing the problem for several weeks ( a problem that I never encountered, which quite frankly, possibly may not even exist). They demand payment for parts that I did not order, which their Service Department threw at their own very costly misdiagnosis. Genius move. Unnecessary parts which are going to be thrown out when the motor is replaced. In summary and I conclude, in my opinion this place is a mismanaged, dishonest disaster. First off, dont buy a Range Rover, they are massively expensive to work on and extremely complicated vehicles that will not hold but a fraction of their value. Huge surprise, right? Secondly, do not make the mistake of bringing your vehicle to Land Rover Jaguar Newport Beach for service. If you do, in my opinion you risk having the same wonderful loyal customer experience I have enjoyed. Sadly for me, my wife still has her 2012 HSE. Luckily for her its actually running at the moment, its also under extended warranty. You can bet it wont be getting worked on by this mis managed rip off, talentless, phoning it in and useless dealership service department, lesson learned.
DAVE STURGIS of Land Rover Newport Beach was our sales rep who exhibited patience and helpfulness beyond what anyone could expect for helping us over and over coming in to customize our new Range Rover. We had a paint flaw when delivered and, while the vendor who fixed it needed to do it two more times, Steve Cervantes and Dave were, again, very patient and diligent to make it right.
Our salesperson Ahmed was amazing to work with. We didnt feel like he was just trying to sell us something in order to meet his quota but really cared about what we were looking for. and wanted to meet our expectations. He gave us such a great deal that we ended up getting two Jaguars that day. We look forward to working with him in the future!
I walked in to check out the Land Rover Discovery Sport, and walked out a customer due to the stellar performance of Ahmed Younes. His deep knowledge and obvious passion for Land Rovers sold me to lease one for the first time. The process was quick, painless and very professional. Highly recommend you ask for Ahmed.
The automobile:2020 RangeRover 8 cylinder. P525 in Byron Blue with white interior: absolutely love this car. I came from a range rover sport, and this is a whole different ride experience. I’m glad I purchased this car, and not leased it. It’s a keeper. The sales person: Eric Brooks: extremely professional individual. Made it super easy when dealing with him over the phone and via text message. He quoted me the exact price, gave me a couple discounts because I was trading in my current range rover, and I knew exactly what my monthly payment would be driving over to the dealership. Upon arriving to the dealership, I was there for approximately 45 to 60 minutes total. Loved it. thank you Eric! The signing of the paperwork: this is the only reason I knocked off one star from my experience. At one point, it honestly felt like I was in a timeshare presentation with a bunch of extra stuff being pitched. It was an extremely cheesy experience. I wouldn’t expect that Ever from this dealership. I forgot the guys name, but he even stated at the beginning that there would be no hard feelings if I did not choose any extras. After his exhaustive and long presentation about a bunch of different extra stuff, that would hike up either the payment or the price, I decided with no extras. He felt agitated and disappointed. His whole demeanor changed. It went from friendly and professional, too disappointed and “I can’t believe you’re not choosing these extras”. It was a little uncomfortable at the end. I was glad I was out of his office.
Amir was very friendly and super helpful in showing me the types of cars we were interested. The staff there are all very helpful and the process was smooth. Great car buying experience.
What is wrong with their phone system. I tried to call them today several times and the option numbers do not respond. Then when it does the person takes for a second and then the line goes silent. To be honest all the Range Rover dealership are such poor quality and lack of good customer service. You feel you are in a second hand cheap dealership the way they approach you. Sad
I have received nothing but great service from Jaguar Newport Beach. Last week I leased my second Jaguar from this dealership and had excellent service from our Sales Advisor, Ahmed. I had called earlier in the day after seeing an online special for my dream car. Ahmed had it ready to go for a test drive before I even arrived. I got the car I wanted for the price I wanted without any of the typical annoyances one experiences when buying a car. The experience was so great that, after we finalized the deal for my car, we decided to take a look at cars for my wife. Ahmed again showed us the perfect SUV for my wife and was able to give us an offer that was too good to refuse. We have now purchased 3 cars in total from this dealership and will keep coming back in the future. I would highly recommend Jaguar Newport Beach to anyone looking for an enjoyable stress-free car buying experience.
Great dealership! Ahmed sold us our new Range Rover Velar. He made the process easy and informative. He made sure we left knowing everything we were signing as well as all the features of the vehicle.
Sales are great, not pushy(besides the lady in the finance room, but I guess that is expected?). They fixed an issue we had with the vehicle after purchase and made sure we were satisfied.
The sales person, Al Stirling, was great! He was exceedingly patient as I asked one question after another - it felt like he heard me and I got the information I needed to make up my mind. The Rover was delivered by Summer and was she ever thorough! Id ask a question and she was incredibly professional about answering and then redirecting me back to the delivery with a promised of covering my question in more detail when we got to that feature. Sheri in finance was very easy to work with. If I said no, she moved on. If I said what does that mean, shed answer very professionally. All in all my experience was delightful!
Ahmed of Land Rover Newport Beach makes it all happen. The distinction of finding your Range Rover car by yourself and with the help of a right person like Ahmed is like night and day. He delivered all his effort to help me find my ideal car but also making my decision so comfortable . Ahmed defines the quality service of Land Rover Newport Beach like what their CARS stands for, Superb!
Land Rover of Newport Beach had a very good inventory of vehicles which were intelligently and thoughtfully configured. In addition, the entire team was extraordinarily helpful and professional. From start to finish, the buying process was pleasant. I would highly recommend Land Rover of Newport Beach.
My experience with Nina G was excellent. She was very friendly, helpful, and honest. She was extremely easy to work with. Very friendly dealership, will definitely recommend. The process of their leasing was very quick. I had a great experience here. Thank you Nina!Read Less
It was very good and fun experienceThe salesman was very patient with us. Any time I called he was able to answer my call and help us out. I love my Range Rover Velar. I strongly recommend this dealership. Not all dealerships the same. We drove more than 1 hr. to get there and did not mind.SincerelyM Alkhuder
Moyca and Marcello were amazing! They took the time with me to figure out what car would suit me best and answered ever question with intellect. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with what I was driving off the lot. 5 STARS!
Got a new Range Rover from this place.Edit: I was very happy to see their reply to my critique and looked forward to their follow up. The general manager is great. Thank you Steve for everything. Steve will take care of you.
Great test drove the I pacer.its great.
Worse car dealer I’ve ever been to. We went it today to get a full size V-8 and asked for final price when the sales person told he can’t keep Give me a final price if I’m going to shop around. What a joke! They basically expected us not to shop around and find a best price on a $130,000 car. The only decent person there is the valet guy who was very polite and professional.
Ive owned a lot of cars (various brands) and been to a lot of service dealers, including 4 jaguars over the years. This place is, by far, the worst. Has taken a precipitous fall under David Elliotts poor management. Their P&Ls may look better, as this guy nickles and dimes everything but this comes at the expense of SERVICE and customer experience. He rushes to get cars in and out and harasses customers to fetch their cars without any consideration for their schedules but 2/4 times the work isnt done right and has to be redone (and redone). Three separate failed attempts to repair a major issue are frustrating enough without having to deal with smugness and wonky attitudes. YOURE NOT DOING ME A FAVOR, YOURE PAID TO FIX MFR DEFECTS. Ive had every single service advisor here and they are all miserable to deal with except for Luke and Jason (this was not the case a few years ago). Stark difference compared to other luxury service dealers (Ive been to them all). Im sure I would get better service at riverside kia. Its a shame because everyone at the sales dealership is amazing. After-sales experience has completely ruined the brand for me.
I came in with a low tire pressure reading without having made an appointment. Steve Cervantes took the car right in, found a nail in the tire and was able to repair it right away. I was there less than an hour from start to finish. So appreciate it!
In my 30 years as a car buyer, I have never been treated so swiftly, professionally and with such stellar service than at Land Rover Newport Beach. Moyca Gardasevich, handled every detail, advocating for the best deal that was within my budget. Todd Gesh, finance manager, explained everything. I didnt feel pressed to add certain extras, but even the extras made fiscal sense. Manny, my concierge tech support specialist thoroughly explained ever nook and cranny, tech features and got my Bluetooth up and running in minutes. This is what all car buying experiences should be like. What a great team! I walked away with a terrific vehicle, in my budget, that will endure all weather and road conditions. Thank you Land Rover Newport Beach! Debra, the teacher.
I bought my Range Rover Sport from Newport Beach Land Rover and I had a great experience with Nina. She was very thorough and keep me up to date on when my car would arrive. Her knowledge was impeccable. Not only was the experience good but I really love the product. I would definitely buy another car from them.I also work with Luke Woodman as hes a wonderful service advisor. He really knows his stuff too and always takes care of me!!!
Our sales person Ahmed Younes was great to deal with. We did not have to negotiate for a long time, we had the entire negotiations done in 30 minutes. The fastest I have ever purchased a car. Ahmed was accommodating and I felt like I was really speaking with a person and not some sales person trying to push something on to me. He understood that due to our recent addition to the family, we would require a larger car. He did not try to sell me a more expensive car but a car which was practical to me.We did end up with a fully loaded 7 seat Discovery HSE since we needed more sating capacity. The only delay was in the financing department, where we had to wait for some people to be done. This took a bit of time.
I wish there was a rate lower than 1 star! We showed up to the dealership to lease a Jaguar.First of all, nobody even acknowledged our presence, then we asked them to find us a salesperson, she replied with “I’ll do my best”!!! Excuse me?!!!Then we waited for another 10 min, one of the sales managers or whatever stopped by and asked if we have a question! We said we would like to test drive a car and he said he cannot help us with that because he cannot leave the store but he can answer our questions! From a manager at that level, being this rude to not even introduce himself or shake hands is unacceptable!Very arrogant and rude! This is America, experience and customer service are everything! I’m sorry but Jaguar is no different than other luxury vehicles in its class so be respectful to your customers! Now I know why I don’t see many Jaguars on the road! We just walked out without test driving anything and eventually leased another car and we are quite happy!Even if you make best cars in the world, which you don’t btw, if you disrespect me I do no business with you!
Nina took care of the exact model I wanted. They have non-pressure sales. Tell them what you want and they get it and you drive off. Most paperwork done by the time you are done!
I really enjoyed purchasing my new Range Rover from Nina. She was very professional, and got me the best deal.I purchased many new cars in my time, but this by far was the best and smoothest experience I have ever had.I will defenitely come back in the future. This dealer is Amazing!!!
I have leased 3 jags in the past nine years. The customer service and loyalty is so horrible that I cannot even get the GM to return my phone call. The last two jags upon termination Chase Financial came after me, threatening to hurt my credit regarding not enough tread on a tire. I returned the car 6000 miles under the mileage. Its easy to get you into a lease but then treat you terribly and threaten. Do not lease at this dealership.
I purchased a CPO 2014 RR Sport. Love the car so far. Sales staff was helpful. I hope service dept. will be just as good. Ive had good luck with Land Rover Anaheim Hills in the past. Im sure this dealership will be just as good.
My name is Ricardo and I purchased my Jaguar XJ from Jaguar Newport during the Memorial Day weekend. Cesar was very helpful and thorough throughout the purchasing process. I would certainly recommend Jaguar Newport to my colleagues.
Overall great experience with my recent acquisition of a Range Rover Sport HST. Ian MacGregor was my salesman. Knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful in my analysis of the various models and options.Definitely would recommend buying from JLR NB and would highly recommend Ian.Ryan
This is a review of their customer service in regard to their service department. I have called and left 3 voice mails in the last 2 weeks in regards to a Range Rover I purchased there less than a year ago. I have a service coming up and had some specific questions about it, but apparently they are too busy to return calls, and every time I call I get pushed into a voice mail. Really bad business had a much better experience on the sales side, but terrible customer service on the service side. Whoever is managing or running that department either needs to be replaced or take a hard look at why you are not calling customers back when they are wanting to spend money to come to service their cars. I will now probably be contacting a different dealership in my area to service my car since Newport Beach is too busy to call me back.
Amazing and thorough service. Nina was very kind and efficient. We definitely recommend them!!
The team at Land Rover Newport beach is the best Ive experienced. Very professional and efficient! I was in and out very quickly with a beautiful Range Rover. They took very good care of me!
The very best explanation and help of all the vehicle’s features. I’ve had Ferrari’s, Porsche’s, Bentley’s but by far the best explanation and setup support was with Newport Jaguar. The after support wa performed on time, competently and correctlyBravo for treating customers superbly!
Excellent customer service. Great car buying experience! Have already referred two people to Scott and Ray!
I have purchased many vehicles and have had many experiences but this one was so easy. Jamshed quoted me a price over the phone for the vehicle I was interested in and when I went in to the dealership, the price remained the same, no gimmicks, no changes to our original discussion. I really appreciated that!Additionally, after making my purchase I was informed that someone would come to my home to walk me through all of its features. That actually happened and I couldn’t have been more happy with Saul, he was patient and kind and super professional. My experience so far has been terrific and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle. Many thanks
I was in on 6/11/17 and met with Moe he provided exceptional service and was very helpful in answering all of our questions. He is definitely the go to man when looking to buy a car. We were in and out within 3 hours and found the car we really wanted, the process was very easy and stress free. Thank you Moe we will definitely be back in the future and look for you !
I had a great experience in purchasing my Range Rover Sport with Jaguar Land Rover Newport Beach. John Pham, sales rep, was a great help with the order & delivery of my car. He was efficient and the made the process seamless. After a few weeks of driving my new car, I took advantage of the Encore appointment with Armando Gutierrez. Armando came to my house and spent an hour with me going over all of the my questions and the many features of the Range Rover. Armando was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Definitely worth your time!
Nina and all the staff at Newport Land Rover were amazingly helpful and went out of their way for us. It’s our 3rd from Land Rover and we won’t go anywhere else. Nina is exceptional!
This is a great lemons to lemonade story. I am on my 6th Jaguar since 1999. I have been a loyal customer of Newport Jaguar. I had what appeared to be a small leak and took it into the service area. No leak from home. Took the car home and after I parked it looked like the flood gates had opened under my car. Took it back in this morning and they said there really wasnt a leak but they would look. Low and behold after 30 minutes service writer came back and said that the tech had not tightened down the coolant reservoir cap and that was the horrible leak. You are wondering why this isnt a 1 star review? Well he then handed me two gift cards to Red O, one of Newport Beachs hottest restaurants for my trouble. Wow! They made a mistake but stepped up. If I wasnt a lifelong customer before I am now!!!
This is the sixth Land Rover that I acquired from them. They are great people to work with and they have always treated me well. Dave Sturgis and all of the staff there are the best.
The best feeling I ever had after a new car deal. The reason is simple, I worked with the most informed and sincere dealership people that I have ever come across. Not to mention that now I have a great car too.
LINDA GEMAYEL in the service department is AMAZING!! She is so easy to talk to, she listens and takes note of EVERY concern. Did I say she is AMAZING. Very personable, quick, and communicates well with updates and estimated completion times. THANK YOU FOR LINDA!
We love our 2016 Range Rover Sport Diesel. Bought it on the same day.Unfortunately, we have had to bring it back to have some details that were overlooked, and our sales representative have been zero help. We paid for a Cilajet application, but the service group has still not been able to address the remaining work needed. For someone that bought their 2006 Range Rover Sport at this same dealership, 13 years ago, can only give a grade C at this point.
I want to thank Chris for the amazing service. You made buying a vehicle so easy and genuine. No hard sale, just fairness and honesty. You certainly raised the bar. We will continue to purchase more from Land Rover Newport Beach.
Great experience. Nina was very friendly and helpful. There wasnt any hard sell pushy vibe you usually experience at a car dealership. Fantastic experience. We love our LR2!
One of the friendliest auto dealerships I have ever been to... EVER! Summer was fantastic!! She is the after-market representative, but knew a lot about the Jaguar F-Type. She took me and my husband out for a test drive and we fell in LOVE!! I thought I wanted an Aston Martin, but after driving the Jaguar, I now know what my dream car is!!
Busy dealership but never had to wait for someone to help us. We told the receptionist exactly what we wanted...a 2016 upgraded white LR4. My salesman brought up exactly what I asked for. It was perfect and we bought it on the spot. The purchasing process takes some time but no more than any other dealership. One of the things about Land Rover of Newport Beach is that they tell you upfront that they dont haggle. They dont need to because they tell you and show you everything upfront, including their inventory and all the costs. At no point do you feel liked you are being gouged or lied to. You feel privileged to be there and cant wait to drive away in your new awesome Land Rover!!Thank you so much for my beautiful new car!! I LOVE IT❤️❤️😀😀
- - - UPDATE - - -The GM contacted me shortly after posting this review, and corrected their mistake. He asked me to go back there, and Manny (Service Dept.) remembered me from my 1st visit, and was very courteous and professional. Edgar who washed my car was extremely nice as well.Thank you so much! 😉- - - END OF UPDATE - - -I went here yesterday, July 1st for service. I was told and accompanied to the Front Desk by one of the Service Advisors to make an appointment, as they don’t accept walk-ins. I talked to Heather at the Front Desk, and specifically told her that I needed to go back to Idaho on the 3rd. She wrote down my name (She couldn’t spell it right, she had to ask about 5 times). Then she asked me, “Is 12pm o.k.?” I asked when. She said, “Tomorrow at 12pm?” I said yes. And confirmed it with her. Today, when I called to confirm my appointment, the lady that I spoke with, named Bella, said I did not have an appointment, but said she found Heather’s note. Apparently, Heather did not make my appointment. So, Bella asked her Supervisor, and the latter said that Heather was not in charged of the scheduling! She couldn’t spell my name right. She did not make my appointment. And the Supervisor wouldn’t take responsibility for their staff’s incompetence! They have a very poor customer service! They don’t deserve anything but a NEGATIVE 1 rating!!!
My first experience at Land Rover Newport Beach was not a good experience. You would think dealing with luxury vehicles, customer service would be a priority, but its not at this dealership. Living in OC, you have no choice but to purchase your vehicle through the NB dealership due to Land Rovers policy sales policy. So even if I wanted to go to LA or SD and shop for a Range Rover, they wouldnt even be able to sell me one due to my home address and sales zone. We purchase luxury vehicles all the time, and thats the first that we have heard of that rule. I guess its Land Rovers way to control pricing. But anyway, we finally purchased a new 2016 Range Rover, but instead, went through the adjoining Aston Martins sales rep, Jeff, because he has always been super friendly and attentive when we went in to look at the Aston & Range floor models. You can tell he understands customer service. After agreeing to purchase the vehicle, we went through a lengthy and inconvenient financing Land Rover protocol. Again, we have never had this much issues purchasing a luxury vehicle. But Jeff, the sales rep, made it as easy as he possibly could.Hopefully taking the car in for regular service and maintenance in the future wont be much of a nuisance.
So I was shopping around trying to get a company lease car, all other dealers I spoke to in the greater LA area and inland were playing games going back and forth with their stealership tactics. Then when I spoke to Ahmed, he offered me a great deal over the phone, no bs, no games, and we closed the deal in basically 10 minutes. I gave him my info over the phone and he prepared all the paperwork before I got there to pick up and was very professional with his customer service. Thanks Ahmed! Enjoying the new jag :)
Went in late on a Monday night. Made a fair deal quickly and easily. Drove out in my new Jaguar! Highly recommend them and I will be back!
This was my first time ever buying from a dealership and sight unseen just through photos. But Id have to say that Eddie and the group of guys are doing a great job and very informative. Just got my car delivered to my doorstep without a hassle at all just a few days later. And wow I couldnt be more pleased! Keep up the great work A++
Everyone was absolutely helpful and friendly from A-Z! Easy, smooth and quick process to lease the car. I love, love, love the car!!
The people seem nice during the sale, but there was ZERO post-sale service after the sale.I bought a used Mercedes Benz GLK350, and I had a bad experience at this dealer.First, I wrote them a check as I didnt want to finance it. Without asking me first, they ran a soft inquiry on my credit. They told me after the fact, and they said its too late because its already done. We couldnt just take a check from someone. Well, if you asked me prior, I couldnt have avoided the inquiry and wired the money instead!Second, please check EVERYTHING before buying the car. Its my fault for not doing it because one of the key didnt work (cost $300) and they didnt see my retractable shield. I wouldnt recommend the salesperson ROCKEY. I had to follow-up with him 5 times. Each time he stringed me a long and came up with excuses (either he is not working on weekends or couldnt leave the shield at the front desk. Come on, just say no then. Why come up with excuses?Lastly, the best part. They gave you a half tank of gas. Overall, not happy with the experience. I hardly be so harsh with my review, but following up 5 times and didnt still get what I was supposed to get is inexcusable.
The staff was wonderful in showing products, test drives, financial options, etc. everything was expedited to I didnt sit waiting for anything. They even came to my house to Program my remote and transport me to the sales office to finalize everything. It was truly a unique and markedly improved experience from purchasing other vehicles. Thanks go out to Moyca and Simon for making that happen!
Melissa Schaffer located at the Newport Beach branch is the friendliest most helpful representative Ive ever dealt with. Whenever there is an issue, shes available right away & her follow up is impeccable. Its great to know that the service side of Land Rover is just as high quality as the vehicle itself. So happy with everything!
I am very pleased and happy that finally I got this car without a sweat and least expected. Thank you NINA! You Rock. I would definitely recommend you to any one.
When I got there I was taking care they answer all my questions.the personal was very kindly with me.total satisfy. Thanks Land Rover Jaguar.
Ive bought all 4 of my Range Rovers from this dealership, this place might be the best RR dealership in the world...its like walking into the cheers bar when you walk through door everyone knows your name! Ive never had any issues with any of my cars bought here, they defantly have gone above and beyond to make sure I have a safe & reliable vehicle to transport my son and his wheelchair. This dealership is the real gem of Newport Beach, Thank you!!
Stay far away. Dealership is obviously way to big to care about their customers. Nina was my sales person. Went from being super helpful to the exact opposite. Really showed her true side. STAY AWAY!
I walked away from an Encino deal because Rockey from Land Rover Newport Beach called me and said he has the 2 cars I’m looking for. I drove all the way from LA and on my way Rockey calls and says he’ll have both car ready at the showroom in 45-min for test drive. I arrive there and get greeted by him and the he disappears and sends someone to show us the cars. The first car in the showroom is the wrong specs and he doesn’t have the correct specs he said he does over the phone. Even worse, the other car was not in the showroom and he sent someone to drive us 20min away to see it. We arrive to the other lot and they don’t have the keys and we can’t even open the car or test drive it.Rockey is the worst sales person ever and he is nothing but a liar. He’s a professional lair. DO NOT Rockey under any circumstances. I would give ZERO stars review for this dealership. I can’t believe a dealership would walk away from 2 serious car deals.Worst dealership ever. Never expected such a terrible service from a Land Rover dealership.
The service staff at JLR Newport Beach are courteous, friendly, highly expert, and totally reliable. They always deliver on time, within budget, and without any scope creep. I wouldnt take my LR4 anywhere else to be serviced.
I had the best car-buying experience possible! I set up an appointment, and we even started early! I test drove one Range Rover, and then ended up opting for a different one. Daniel was not only personable, but knew everything that I wanted. I will definitely be coming back for my next vehicle. Thank you Daniel and Kelley!
I worked out a cash deal on a used vehicle with Dean Cramp before driving from Calabasas in rush hour to pick it up -- a 3.5 hour drive. I had confirmed my arrival for 7:20pm. At 7:03pm, Dean calls and tells me to hurry because someone else is about to buy the vehicle. I arrived to the dealer at 7:20pm as I confirmed hours earlier. Dean had written up the purchase agreement, I signed, gave him my credit card for a $10,000 hold (because although Dean confirmed wiring the funds would be fine before I drove down, doing so was no longer a sufficient method of payment once I arrived)... I was sitting at Deans desk for some 20 or 30 minutes after signing for the deal when he came back to inform me that they just sold the vehicle.I expected the experience of a JLR dealer to be on par with that of my BMW dealership, but as it turns out, it more closely mirrors the experience one might have at a Chrysler or a Kia dealer. Know before you go...
