Stopped by the other day to get my wifes fix for her cookies and had the pleasure of being served by Crisy, Aaron and Devon. The place was busy yet they still managed to get to me quickly and with a smile. The cookies were fresh, still warm and absolutely delicious. Their team was amazing and the only thing better than the cookies was the service. Keep up the good work guys.

They were out of regular chocolate chunk so they gave me triple chocolate chunk and then an extra for my girlfriend’s birthday! The woman was so incredibly sweet!

The cookies taste good cold, but taste even better warm with a glass of milk. My favourite cookies by Insomnia Cookies are: double chocolate chip, peanut butter, sugar and red velvet. If your going to buy some cookies from Insomnia, make sure you get a box of 6 or more cookies. You will regret having more than 3 of their delicious cookies. Especially if you have others around you, asking if they try a piece of your Insomnia Cookies.

I would give this store more than 5 stars if I could!I live in CO and ordered the cookie ice cream sandwich for my sister who lives near this location for her birthday. The store reached out to me right away because they had to bake some of the cookies I requested and it was going to take a bit longer than the time I was quoted. They went above and beyond to get me exactly what I wanted and they communicated what was happening.The delivery driver called me when he arrived and when my sister answered the door he even let me say happy birthday to her on his phone. I will absolutely be visiting this location next tie I am in the area, this crew helped me make my sisters birthday so special and I really appreciate it!!

I love this place. Even though the cost of delivery is insane alone with service charges via online apps. The beauty of this place is that is small and staffed with few people. So we never have to endure the rude and unprofessionalism of the actual human working. My delivery order was late. By 35 minutes more than quoted. The app said to call the store because they have their own drivers. I called the store asking about my order of 2 cookies and a ice cream that is now and hour and 35 minutes since I ordered. The woman who answered the phone sounded annoyed and ready to fight. It was the end of the night, I get it, youre tired and want to go home. But unfortunately that isnt anyones problem and it takes very little to be polite. Especially if your one responsibility is to talk on a phone and resolve an issue. The I dont know what to tell you response isnt very reassuring to customers like me who order from this place often. Not visiting this location again, will support other ones

Insomnia recently catered a charity event I hosted for the Michael J. Fox foundation and the cookies were absolutely delicious. Everyone loved them so much and it helped make our event such a success. Highly recommend!

I ordered at 12:00 saying my cookies would be here at 12:30. They called me at 12:40 saying they didnt have the cookies I ordered and asked if a different kind would be ok. I said yes. At 1:30, I called again wondering why it was taking 1.5 hours, and they said they had cancelled my order, saying that my driver never showed up. I have yet to receive a cancellation email or a refund. When I called to ask about the cookies, it almost sounded like the girls were laughing on the other end. I was under the impression that Insomnia used their own deliverers, so I was confused by the The driver never showed up comment. Maybe because I ordered through GrubHub, but on GrubHub it said that delivery was up to Insomnia, so I dont know at this point. Im very disappointed.

I dont think it was worth the price. I dont know if it was because I came at night that the cookie was kind of too hard around the edge it was difficult it break apart. Not one of the places I would recommend for dessert unless maybe if you come early in the day.

1. As we walked in it took the worker about 3 minutes to look up from her phone to ask if we needed anything & to let her know when we’re ready to order.2. She took our order sitting down and still looking at her phone probably scrolling through IG.3. Got up and proceeded to give us cookies but they weren’t even fresh. In the background there is another worker sitting down looking at her phone with a child sitting on some kind of storage container.4. The delivery person is packing cookies right to the right of us less than 6 feet from the door.The service was trashhhhhhh, ya’ll need to invest in workers who have manners and better customer service. Very rude and made our experience very unpleasant, will not be going back to this location.

For reference, my roommate ordered over uber-eats and got her order ten minutes later. I ordered for Delivery about an hour and a half before she did, and FOUR hours later Im on the phone with customer service saying they havent even started the order yet. I had already called two hours earlier with the response that my order was up next. I just got a refund and went to bed. Came to find out a week or so later that my roommate went into the store and everyone was literally just sitting around doing nothing and the person behind the counter was walking at shuffle speed to get her cookies. Insomnia cookies is good, but there are plenty of other better locations in the city. Dont go to this one, and especially dont get delivery from it. Only God knows where your cookies will end up at the end of the night.

Wow, where do I even begin? I ordered a treat for my fiancé and scheduled it to arrive at 5pm (I ordered at 1130am). Throughout the day I checked the cookie tracker which not only never updated beyond baking, I would have likely not even received my order if I didnt call. Ok, so on the note of calling, I tried the location at the phone number listed on Google, only to try option 2 (existing order), then option 3 (help with something else) and lastly 1 (new order) -- each time it just put me on hold. I sat on hold for nearly 15 minutes total -- trying to give the store the benefit of the doubt. Nothing. I found a different phone number on Yelp and upon calling actually got an associate. He could not find my order with the name given, so I gave him the order number - upon which he could find the order. He informed me the order was ready but they had no delivery personnel so they contracted delivery that day with Postmates. He informed me the order should arrive in 20-25 minutes -- but he didnt have a delivery person ready to pickup/deliver my order. My order did eventually arrive, but 1.5 hours after my originally scheduled time (and one hour after I spoke with a store rep -- not the 20-25 minutes promised). A truly piss poor experience. Not happy at all. The cookie was the usual Insomnia quality so thus 2 stars and not zero. But wow, I am genuinely shocked with how terrible this experience was. Next time I will support a local bakery instead.Edit: A regional manager reached out to apologize for the experience and provided a partial refund. She did not ask I update the review but given her outreach and actions I’ve updated the review rating to reflect outstanding after-purchase customer service.

Best cookies I’ve ever had. It’s a small place so you should just grab your Vickie’s and keep moving. They have no seats for you but always warm cockles for everyone. People behind the register are not the best with costumer service, but the cockles are worth it

Ordered for delivery and they showed up cold and hard as rocks, absolutely disgusting. Also missing 2 cookies I paid for. I will never order from them online again, or ever. I don’t like how they act like I should be grateful and excited for the fact they deliver their cold hard hockey chips.

Visited NY, and as my husband and I took a stroll we found ourselves standing before Insomnia cookies and we knew we had to try them. Friendly service from the cashier, and also very patient as it was our first time and we were overwhelmed with what cookies to choose from! We asked if they had military discount and the girl said no but she gave us her employee discount to honor my husbands service which I thought was very kind of her!! (I really wish I remembered her name, she was great!!).

Live around the corner from this location and it took over an hour for the delivery to be made despite being told 20-30 minutes. The cookie “tracker” is also useless

NY visitors..saw this place by random..cookies were decent customer service needs to be improved. The girl checking us out gave absolutely no eye contact had monotone voice and just seemed to be very unpleasant. Which is unfortunate because they were all black women working in there and I like to see my people in business. But in order to have a successful business that people want to come back to you NEED great customer service. I would never give a recommendation here because of the lack of service.

The cookies are good on their own but sadly I tried a committee ice cream sandwich as my first experience and its just ok. The ice cream seems cheap and flavorless so it doesnt compliment the cookies. So my advice... Just get the cookies.

Me and my friend experienced very rude customer with the associate Kamrie. As soon as we had walked in she had an attitude and when I had asked her a question she began to yell. I was very unsatisfied however if you are going for a quick treat make sure you ask which cookie is which because Kamrie didn’t specify the difference price range of cookie size. SMHH

These cookies are to die for, especially during their peak hours of late oclock. When its cold out and youre walking home at midnight, this is an amazing stop to take. The cookies are gorgeous and melted goodness, and you can get them as a cookie ice cream sandwich for the summer.

Cookies where the batter is made somewhere in Penn. I found it an odd small place which is to crowded and filled with staff baking and selling.The manager was happy to give away the free cookies during the grand opening in May.They have a few locations so people must enjoy spending $1.50 per cookie and getting them delivered all night long. If you live in the city its a cute way to send a gift to someone who is celebrating a birthday or ill in the hospital.Nice and warm yummy cookies. But wait! There is more! Get a cookie ice cream (which I didnt taste) sandwich! Brownies are also available. The Chocolate Chunk melted in my mouth and the macadamia was sweet. And you know what is really crazy? They deliver! Thats right if you live in the area and get a cookie craving late night (till 3 in the morning) they will deliver hot fresh cookies to your door! $6.00 min + $1.50 service charge. The cookies are Kosher (BUT DO NOT STATE IT ON ANY PAPERS)and they also have small milk bottles in various flavors.

So I never leave reviews for a few reasons; I try to understand every situation before leaving my opinion and I try to understand that sometimes the service isn’t good because someone is having a bad day or maybe there was some miscommunication.Now, Today is Wednesday, January 16th and at around 3:20pm I went to insomnia cookies to buy cookies for my team. When I entered, there was no one at the front of the shop. I said hello 3 times, felt uncomfortable then stepped out. While outside, I looked around to see if maybe the clerk ran to grab something, but there was no one in front of the shop.I stepped back into the store, but half away and called out--thinking maybe the clerk has earphones on and couldnt hear me, nothing! Feeling so uncomfortable again, I stepped out once again and took out my phone to call the nearest location. Who LEAVES the front store vacant for 10 WHOLE minutes and not lock the door? Now I am in the process of calling the next location when the person emerges out of nowhere. Shocked, I entered and greets him nicely despite thinking what the hell was going on.He doesnt greet me back. Then he proceeded to give me an attitude as if I called the cops on him. I ignored his eye roll and attitude and I asked for 8 cookies that I wanted to be separated into two pouch/bags. Now, because he was reaching for the small box at the sound of 8 cookies, me asking for the bags made him angry.He continued to roll his eyes and randomly goes, ugh, I cant give you any cookies... just like that... with no explanation. So I asked why? Instead of saying we are out of this particular kind. He pulls the whole tray out roughly (I mean roughly) to say, we are out of chocolate chip cookies!. At that time a mother and her daughter entered and I can guarantee they felt the tension in the room. I turn to leave and wish the mom good luck because his attitude was unnecessary and disrespectful.If I could give Negative black stars I would. Not to the cookies, but the customer service at this location and to whoever hired this irresponsible, disrespectful person.I love Insomnia cookies, Ive brought from their location in the upper east side and one other time by NYU Hospital--go there instead! Avoid this location, especially when this young angry man is working. The disrespect that I received here was unnecessary.

This Insomnia Cookies location recently opened. It was my first time trying them out as Ive never heard of them before. I had the Oatmeal and White Chocolate Macadamia cookies - both delicious, warm and fresh out of the oven! That is what theyre known for.They are open late - until 3AM daily - so if you ever have the munchies - you know where to order warm, mouth-watering, chocolate that melts everywhere kind of cookies!

This location is by far the cleanest, nicest and most efficient. Ever since the new manager took over a few months ago there has been a significant difference in change to deliveries, customer service and how clean the store is! The manager (Lo.....) has great sense of urgency and care for this store as well as employees. It has encouraged me to recommend this location to multiple people I know. I give them respect on a great job dealing with the public, they get the drunk animals at night screaming and stomping in right before closing and still manage to keep a polite smile and patience while assisting these ungrateful drunks. The cookies are by far the best and very addictive.

The Story: My significant lover (wife) and I had a few drinks and a little Stromboli. We started walking back to our home for the night and I noticed a cookie place open at midnight. We went and coveted from the window the deliciousness that we could only see. Full, and not fully in a dessert frame of my mind, we decided we would pass. Then, by fates whimsical happenstance the door opened and the most lovely smell weve ever smelled creeped out the door. We were drawn in as if by the Sirens of smell. We knew it was meant to be. So, we ordered the peanut butter cup cookie and mowed on that and it was like your first time making out. Gooey and warm and leaving something to be desired. That thing: EVEN MORE COOKIES. Anyone that has been to any Insomnia Cookies location will know that their cookies are absolutely out of this world. There are so many mouth-watering choices and the cookies are always fresh/warm/melty. Theyre definitely incredibly sweet and I personally cannot eat one on my own, but thats just an opportunity to share with someone! I got the triple chocolate cookie which is one of the bigger-sized one. The chocolate chunks inside were so gooey and the cookie itself was so soft.Ive been to this particular location several times and it is incredibly tiny. As in there is probably room for only 2 customers to stand inside this place at a time. If youre not claustrophobic like me then Im sure its not an issue for you but I really wish they expanded this location (probably easier said than done in NYC).Aside from that I have no complaints about this place and highly recommend it to anyone when youre in the area!

The place to go when you want a portable late sweet treat. Oatmeal cookies are delicious, soft, and warm. The Red Velvet Cookie, I was not really impressed by it. It seemed like some red food dye & nuts added to the cookie dough.The store is tragically small. Only 3- 4 customers can be in there at a time. They also sell brownies as well as Chocolate milk.

The delivery guy came to my door and told me he gave my order to someone else and offered me theirs in exchange. I told him I wanted what I ordered (I mean who wouldn’t?) and so he said he would be back in 15 min. 45 min later I’m on the phone with Insomnia Cookies customer service, they had no idea where my order was or when it would arrive. First I was told the driver never came back to the store and the store wasn’t aware of the mixup so I told them I no longer want the order as it was getting late and was told they couldn’t issue me a refund while the driver was out for redelivery of my order. I had to argue with them to get a refund because he couldn’t possibly be out for redelivery with my order if he never came back to the store to get my correct one. The cookies may be good but the customer service is atrocious and in a city with 100 other options customer service is key. Will NEVER order from here again

This place is managed like a battle house slum with staff, delivery drivers and even ‘management’ yelling and getting into physical fights with eachother out front. They don’t do anything good for the block - owner should really consider updating their hiring practices. If you really want a good cookie get one (made with actual, real butter) at 24hr Veselka’s down the avenue.

Warm, freshly baked cookies and milk when walking home at midnight from a bar....what could be better? I have heard about Insomnia for quite some time, it started at NYU while I went to NYU. I was walking home, craving a cookie, and lucky me! Insomnia was right across the street. I got two cookies - Chocolate Chunk and Double Chocolate Mint. They gave me a white chocolate macadamia instead of my chocolate mint, and when I went back in they gave me my correct cookie with a smile and let me keep the white chocolate one. I ate all three, but the good ol classic Chocolate Chunk was the winner to me. Melty chocolate, chewy center, perfection.

Staff was excellent and the cookies were so good! Get the lemon chocolate chip cookie while it lasts... By far my favorite! 🙌

I enjoy these cookies but the service definitely leaves something to be desired.I ordered on Seamless: 7 cookies and ice cream.My order was held up because they didnt know what flavor ice cream I wanted and rather than calling me to find out, I got an alert saying my order was on its way.So I waited, and waited. Finally I had to call an hour later -- (to the 800 number no less) -- only to find out that they never sent the order at all!!More than that, the guy on the phone just couldnt care less.
