The tastiest little yogurt snack. I make sure to come here every time I visit NYC and it never fails me. :)
They were really nice and considerate I will definitely go there again
Before heading to the store I checked store hours online since It would take about an hour to get there and saw they were open until 4 PM. I arrived at the cafe at 2:40 PM, only to be told that they closed at 2:30 PM for a team meeting. I asked them why that wouldn’t be reflected online but didn’t really get a response.I decided to email customer service about this and was put in contact with the store manager. Store manager replied that he was the one at the door and showed me a sign on the door stating they were closing at 2:30 that day. Once I traveled there it didn’t help to see a sign on the door, which I let him know. Apparently I was supposed to call ahead to verify the hours. Why post store hours online if one has to call ahead to verify them? They recommend that to anyone traveling an hour to their store.Website should be updated to the following:Phone numberStore hoursIf traveling over an hour call ahead to verify above hours since they change at random.Side note: the store closes early enough (4PM!) they can hold their store meeting then.
Guys, youre great but the service is too long.
We received very bad service in this location, I would recommend going elsewhere. I don’t usually write reviews, but felt inclined to write this one given how bad our experience was.
Visited today at the store and had a really great experience. Elliot, the kitchen manager really makes the difference at the store. Hes very caring and super attentive and make sure the customer is happy with the order. Thats how customer service should be! As long as Elliot there, Ill def be back!
Staff was kind, interior was so cute, food was also surprisingly really good!
They have great covid protocols and all the employees are very helpful and nice! food tastes great as well!
Reliably good spot to go to when youre in Soho. Always a bit crowded, but you can usually find a seat.Plus you can look up your loyalty card details just by email, which is a plus since I always forget mine! They used to let you keep your yogurt glass with each order to encourage people to bring back and reduce waste, but have since changed that policy - but it only costs a very reasonable $1 -$1.50 now, depending on size.
Amazing place & mouthwatering tasty food. If I live in Soho, this will be my to-go-to place, I can see myself eating here daily. Tasty & clean healthy food, with plenty of vegetarian options. I fell in love with the Simit, the pesto sun dried tomato sandwich, and the savory fitta & harissa! Was planning to take pictures of the food but I couldn’t resist we ate in seconds & forgot all about the pics lol, sorry for that! Haha
A very cute little place serving some delicious Greek yogurt recipes. Their menu is kind of different from the usual and is a great place to have breakfast or some mid meal snacks. Everything is very healthy. Also the cafe serves some pretty nice coffees. Although the winner is the location with seats overlooking the street through giant glass windows. Must visit if youre in Soho.
The guy at the door doesnt know how to say hello or good morning
This isn’t the first time i visit this store and I been coming here for the past 4 years and this is my opinion:I really like Chobani yogurt. The smoothies I had tasted nothing. Not sure if this was a mistake or it actually tastes like that. We ordered 2 different smoothies and both tasted the same “Matcha Mango” and “Strawberry something” both tasted nothing but can only feel the Matcha or Mango flavor. “Tasted pure plain yogurt both”.Note: The yogurt bowls tasted good. The yogurt bowls they have is really limited to PLAIN YOGURT with honey “ Honey is what gives the yogurt flavor” and different type of fruit... why?? I mean a STORE should provide different yogurt flavors to their customers and not only one!! Examples, strawberry, blueberries, lemon, peach yogurt flavors. I can literally do this better than them by using their own CHOBANI yogurt you can purchase from Groceries stores and add the fruits, granola, nuts of your choice at HOME, I would expect the store to be more creative to try things people cant do at home which would cost way more less and better at home with their current options.Just due to the limited one single yogurt flavor I wouldn’t go again unless i miss it a year or two later. They definitely need to provide better smoothies or ensure its done correctly if it was a mistake.I will try the smoothie one more time if it tastes better ill add an extra star.
Well the best yogurt in the world
Check your order at pick up! Its dead in there and staff still cant get the order right. so bad
Tourist trap, not for locals. No matter if you order a small or large, you’re going to get the same 2 scoops of yogurt. When you ask them to fill it up a little extra, they nod as if it’s no problem and then will hand you the almost empty container. The food is good, service is decent, but if you’re planning on coming here daily, expect to have no money in your bank account by the end of the week.
Lovely place the best yogurt by far!!!!
Very nice place in Soho, big windows so that you can enjoy a view of the neighborhood. There is a good selection of greek yogurt with fresh fruit, seeds, nuts, honey etc. Moreover you can taste a very good bagel, delicious croissant, teas and coffee. It is good for breakfast/ brunch. You order the food at the cashier, and they call you as soon as is ready. Nice staff, they do not press you to go away when you have finished. The only advice is that the price are about 20-25% higher than those in google, but -in my opinion- are fairboth for the quality and the quantity.
A great location to sample yogurt innovations. Whether sweet or savory this outlet in SOHO caters to the lovers of mixes. Try the pistachio honey chocolate mix for sweet and the hummus or harissa with chickpeas for savory. Zaatar is also a great choice for this long for ethnic tastes. Overall a great experience.
The best yogurt in the world
Its a vibe.
Great experience!
Chobani cafe has a great selection of light meals, including sandwiches that are very fresh and taste great, and of course their signature yogurt mixes. We try to visit at least once every time we get to NYC. The only problem is the small space and limited seating. It can get very busy, but everything can be carried out and consumed in Washington Park.
A halfway healthy breakfast place. Though some of the bowls are pretty extravagant this is better than eating at any of the bakeries around the neighborhood. Some of the bowls are very innovative and have always tasted delicious in my honest opinion.
EDIT: After Chobani commented on this post they offered me a complimentary case of yogurt but never shipped it, and when I reached out again I got no reply! I’m disappointed that I spent so much money here through the year and really thought they were a better company than this.I was a regular until my grilled cheese was semi-cold and had a hair in it!:( Paid $17 for a grilled cheese and tomato soup (because of course that’s the combo that you can’t get half and half) and I was really disappointed. Also, the onions were barely caramelized, they were just soggy strands. Definitely will not be coming back :/
The manager (male) was talking very rudely to customers.
Always a pleasure to come. This very nice and helping the neighborhood. Thru this time of need. 🥰😌
Had a great salad. Appreciated decor and expeditious service. Though I was taken aback when I asked for a straw: we are strawless sir. Loved that move
Great Cafe! Delivery didn’t seem to lack quality.
Yummmm!! This place is great and good for a nice healthy snack!
I have been a regular since the opening of this store and have been the biggest fan. I revisited recently with a fond memory of having a yummy yogurt in a cozy place made by friendly staffs. WRONG! I was so disappointed... I understand good places becoming known and crowded, I get it, but it’s so not worth it when the staff is treating you horribly. I was so disappointed when she almost threw the yogurt bowl at me for just sitting there.. with a lot of people. It can be stressful in an environment with too many orders but why should I take your stress? I actually contacted Chobani about their customer service problem, and they got back to me with apologies and told me that they will send me a coupon or something, they never got back to me either. Chobani, I loved you but I’d rather spend that money elsewhere where I don’t have be treated like that.
This was so good when visiting nyc! However know what you want to order/ because the process to order is a bit rushed. Also- there is not enough seating for everyone, so be careful if you come in with a large group of friends or family!
Man I really love coming to this place and getting their yogurt parfait‘s with fruits and nuts and all kinds of good stuff!! All I can say is yummy yummy yummy!
Happy to see theyre still in the same place. Tried their lentil soup. It was amazing.
This place is always a treat. Ive gone since they first opened, and what I love the most is how they are consistently evolving. First, it was a few types of yogurts only, and now it is an awesome variety of anything you can think of. Never had a bad experience here and the service is fantastic! It can be hectic at peak times.Always check for their seasonal flavors...
Cute spot to grab a quick bite. Yoga treats are great! You can purchase the glass bowls too if you want a keepsake.
Im sorry this has gone way down in quality and service in the past 6 months.it was a guilty pleasure of mine i would go at least every 2 weeks or so for a treat.it was wonderful in the beginning. no matter how crowded, you would be greeted with with a smiling face and not wait long for your order. The staff has changed and i am not sure what happened to the quality of service but i was there today (not packed) a long line to put your order in at the register. A staff member actually scolded us for blocking the refrigerator. When i got my order to my destination it was missing two key ingredients! the last time i was there i had to remind them what was supposed to be in the creation. also not particularly clean. not going back.
Passed by on a Sunday afternoon and was intrigued by the Strawberry Rhubarb and Mint yogurt. Walked in and immediately saw the clear glass showing the kitchen where the yogurt choices were being created. The store was packed but was quickly able to order with one of the staff members standing in the front (they had a tablet, took my order and I paid with a credit card). They had other Middle Eastern / Turkish inspired snacks that looked delicious. The two yogurt options we picked up (Fig and Walnut and then Strawberry/Rhubarb with Mint) were delicious and filling. Perfect for Spring/Summer weather.
Are you zero waste in your packaging? I heard about what you did with the school lunches for fellow students but Im a gen z and a student striking for the climate along with Greta Thunberg so I went zero waste and cannot buy anything that is wrapped in plastic. So, can you please go zero waste? I and other students like you just based off of your school lunch helping thing but more and more of us are refusing things if they are not sustainable in their packaging. So, I and my friends would like it if you could go zero waste so we can try your stuff. Cheers! 🥰❤❤❤❤
My family really enjoyed eating at Chobani! The red lentil soup was amazing! Liked the different combination of yogurt toppings that are available. The seasonal gingerbread, white chocolate, pear yogurt was yummy. We also love the harissa feta combination. I liked the way they present the yogurt on the wood slab tray/plate. The service is fantastic. The manager Josue Hernandez was really wonderful as he prepared my daughters yogurt with special care as she has food allergies. I have told my friends and family that live in NYC to check out Chobani soon. We will be back next time we are in NYC. Definitely a 5 star, A+ place!
Used mealpal to pick up from Chobani the first time the other day. Super quick service. The cafe seemed to have a nice atmosphere and vibe. The salad/soup were good. Would recommend the lentil soup.
Great Place, delicious food, salad and drinks. Nice music and chilling atmosphere. Recommend this place.
Every time the service has been amazing, special shout out to Dennis Wynn who served us both Saturday and Sunday of our visit. Super friendly and accommodating :) yogurt parfaits and simmit are highly recommended to order. Will definitely be going back any time Im back in NYC.
Great place! Try simit and the soup. There should be more places selling simit. I hope they have a place at Brooklyn and maybe Minneapolis as well.
Interesting combinations of Greek yogurt and other toppings. Some mimic traditional Mediterranean or Western recipes; others seem original. Helpful staff with fast service.
Nice selection of menu items. However inside is very small, depending on the day, you may need to wait to sit.
Beautiful interior design... I mean it’s hard to tell now because of COVID regulation regardless great food and great people working here. ☺️ love having this as one of my regular spots
I was really excited to finally try this place out after the recent renovation. The place was clean and I liked how they put seats close to the window. I tried pistachio and dark chocolate/ toasted coconut and pineapple, and I liked the latter. The coconut flavor wasnt too strong, and I enjoyed the combination of sweet taste of honey and pineapple (yet not too sweet) and sour taste of regular chobani yogurt.
Do you like Greek yogurt? Chobani now has a shop in Soho. The people go wild for this stuff. I was able to try their yogurt at a private event. It is all fresh and the ingredients are interesting from sweet to savory. Peanut butter and jelly or with pita chips? The choice is yours.
