I took my friend here on the last day of his visit to NYC—and he said, “So you’ve been holding out on me!” It’s that food. The pão de queijo is scrumptious! Let them warm it up for you and get one of each flavor, pesto if you only want one.I tried to make my own at home and it’s just not the same.
The staff is friendly and helpful. However I wasnt too impressed by the items that I purchased. I also think the pastries are a overpriced.
Screw tiramisu, bye-bye cupcakes and cronaughts, brigadeiros are the best bite-sized treat and this bakery does delightful ones
The dulce de leche coffee (with oatmilk) and spicy pao de quiejo are very good. Not greasy and only slightly cheesy. And of course well seasoned.
Cake was dry and. rigadeiros although good are uniform, too small and pricey..why cant you do like in a brigadeiro place in Brazil..also ask for a gift and no gift box as before ...make upscale and great to the eyes than charge it ...too bad it could have been much better
The young lady talked me into a $ 42.00 loaf of bread . At 65 i still sometimes think with the wrong head . I did get some excellent samples and a free bag of cookies and the conversation was delightful as well as easy on the eyes
I placed an order on Too Good to Go, and got the most delicious Pao de queijo that I’ve ever had it’s to die for. Will definitely come back for more and try more stuff.
Amazing place!!! Perfect for a Brazilian that is missing brigadeiro, carrot cakes and many other Brazilian delicious treats! The delivery os fast and works perfectly!
Few options of desserts and snacks. Could be better.
Its a nice little Brazilian Brigadeiro confectionery store. The desserts taste delicious and freshly made. I found them a bit too sweet for my taste buds. So tried them with unsweetened ginger tea and viola! We got pistachio, dulce de leche & walnut, two lovers, crunchy (milk) chocolate, coconut & dark chocolate flavors. Along with my coffee, chose coffee & praline flavor. Personally, liked dark chocolate and coffee & praline flavors the best. Asked for a simple packing and staff got busy in gift box packing. :) Also, got a decaffeinated mocha which tasted absolutely delicious. Although later, felt the strong caffeine effects so wondered if it was actually decaffeinated... Overall though, it was a good place to try brigadeiros.
This place is terrible. I was picking up an order to deliver to someone, and they forced me to complete the pickup then call the customer only to end up cancelling the delivery for a personal emergency and I got in trouble with my company. DONT ORDER DELIVERY FROM THIS RESTAURANT. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
THIS PLACE IS RUNNING A SCAM. Placed an order on Too Good To Go, where you pay ahead of time for a surprise bag of food. I arrived within the pick up window time, and this place was locked up with the lights off with no one inside.
Lovely place and amazing staff! The brigadeiros and Brazilian cheese bread were super fresh and delicious! Will definitely come back and do highly recommend this place if you want to try some good Brazilian treats!
I have been searching for the perfect truffle in NYC and finally located it at Brigadeiro! Brazilian style with plenty of tasty options. Great for gifts and parties.
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Visited today and the owner was there- she was super nice, and then the Brigadeiro truffles & honey cakes were SO so good to boot! Every flavor of the truffles we tried was amazing! A wonderful Soho spot with unique, yummy offerings!
The best Brazilian bakery I have ever been to in NYC! The brigadeiros, cakes and pão de queijo (cheese breads) are to die for and I keep coming back for more! The price is very reasonable and the service is great and very friendly! 🥰🥐🍫
These are so good
The traditional brigadeiro didnt taste great, but the other ones like dulce de leche were pretty good. I also think they should be a bit bigger to justify the high price.
Great little bakery putting out some of the best cheese bread in the city. The brigadeiros are amazing as well, try the passion fruit one and the guava and cheese. Honestly all of them are very very good. The service is also great. Theres not a lot of room inside so it could be better to just order to go. This is definitely a must go place, specially if youre in Soho
Walked in on a whim and was pleasantly surprised to learn the selections were of Brazilian origin. Brigadeiros are my new obsession! We gobbled down the handful that we ordered and loved all of the different flavors. Thanks to the staff for being patient with us and guiding us newbies! You guys have new fans!
Helped make my 18th birthday in quarentine much happier :) great cake, would definitely like to try another someday.
This place is amazing and deserves every star and more! The owner as well as the staff are super welcoming and the sweets are now my favorites! I was there last week and still haven’t forgotten their heavenly taste! My favorite is the crunchy pistachio!
The chocolate balls were nice. However, coffee could be better.Nice place to grab something sweet but not for a coffee.
Neighborhood find excellent. Togo only now. Drinks and desserts.
I really wanted to do 3 n 1/2 star if possible. Brigadeiros were good. The chocolate cake was alright. Dont have many options.
HOLY COW! Those little desserts are outstanding. If you’re going for sweet treat, this you can’t beat!
Its a freezing day at 10am. Youre late for work. You stumble upon Brigadeiro and you enter. Wow. Youre in for a treat! Enjoy any of Brigadeiros amazing coffee drinks and then get a free Brigadeiro, a joyous treat! I recommend the churro flavor...ooooh wee! so yummy
Authentic brigadeiros. Just like those you find in Brazil. No surprise, the owner is Brazilian. Offset this amazing sweet with an ice coffee. Wonderful visit and great service.
Terrific pastries and the proprietor is super nice.
Overpriced and does not taste good. I can make better at home. Definitely not worth it.
I did not know I liked rice balls till I had theirs
Amazing spot! Love the Pistachio dessert 😋
I really don’t understand this place- they’re basically just spoonfuls of jam or nutella type spreads, rolled in crumbs or nuts. i tried a few and they were good but i’d rather just buy a jar of cookie butter or chocti spread. there are a few options that were actually baked, but all looked very lack luster
Food was awful
The Brazilian cheese bread is so outrageously good you wont even believe it. Like nothing youve ever had before. Ditto for the brigadeiros (little truffle like confections) and everything else they make. I would highly recommend going there. More than once.
The brigadeiro carrot cake in a cup was delicious. The brigadeiros were also good.
Got a sample box in my Amazon Prime Surprise Sweets box and oh my god, they were so amazing. The truffle with the white and milk chocolate dots was absolutely divine.
Hi, my name is Wayne Emerson and I went online looking for a Brazilian style birthday cake for my fiance, whos from Brazil.I found Brigadeiro Bakery to have good ratings and a top position in Google.I called and explained to an employee what I wanted (per my fiances request). The Brigadeiro employee listened carefully and forwarded to the bakeries owners. The owner called me back and told me what she could do for me and was very attentive to my needs. End result was a beautiful & delicious cake with the flavor of Brazil, just as my fiance wanted. They even brought the cake to my car because i was by myself when I picked it up and couldnt find parking. A+ Bakery, well be using them again !
I was planning a Brazil-themed event at work and wanted to get something to fit in with the theme for the dessert. Mariana was very helpful and allowed us to customize the brigadeiro cakes in a jar with sprinkles and ribbons. They were perfect - delicious and looked great with the rest of the decorations. Everyone loved them! I even got to try one of the brigadeiros when I picked them up and I will definitely be back for more!
August 28th, 2019Its not a cupcake. Its not a macaroon. Its not a cookie, a pastry, or a cake. Its a brigadeiro; its Brazilian; and I tried one for the first time today at West Houston and Sullivan Street, at Brigadeiro Bakery.I only wanted a cup of tea before meeting a friend for dinner nearby, so I stepped into the closest bakery. After I ordered the green tea, I was told that I could pick a free brigadeiro.I looked over the glass display case beneath the counter for a while, in my mind, sifting through the options until I went for the brigadeiro of the coffee variety.I waited until I stepped outside, and was standing near Houston Street at dusk as another late summer evening fell upon the city. I took a sip of the green tea, then went for the brigadeiro: short, sweet, and just enough texture and flavor to lull me back in again before the summer ends.- Curlew Quarterly
I got a cake from here for my mothers birthday and it was delicious! They were very accommodating and very good about keeping in contact.
I got some Brigadeiros for a gift and were delicious. 100% recommended if you want to try some different.
Small place. Limited options when I went there. I was expecting more cakes and bakery products, but there were only a few different brigadeiro options. They were good though.
Didnt go in, but saw their staff just sweeping their trash into the street as opposed to picking it up. I wont ever support a business that does that, regardless of the quality of baked goods.
Brigadeiros were good, service - rather fast, selection - vast and interesting, prices - too high for the size.
This is the place to go whenever i feel homesick
Omg. The best brigadeiro in NYC!!! Must to try!
Most delicious dessert in New York! Staff is super friendly and the place is small and warm
Super cute Brazilian bakery with complimentary brigadieros with your coffee. Its small but very welcoming.
Good pastries.
I wanted to love Brigadeiros, but they were too sweet for my taste. They do have a very wide selection of these Brazilian candies that will make any fan happy!
I didnt know such joy existed. Delicious confections!
Discover the Brazilian version of s chocolate truffle at this sweet shop. The brigadeiros are delicious, but dont forget to also try the cheese bread..aka pao de queijo
Small place but very tasty, really recommended
I loved all of them! Try the passion fruit, coconut, almond and the famous and original chocolate brigadeiro.
Best brigadeiro in the US 🐐
Great coffee and amazingly yummy brigadeiros!!!
I randomly stopped here to get a cup of coffee. They said you get a free brigadeiro with the coffee. Im glad I got that cup of coffee because the brigadeiro was delicious.
You should go there and try the Banana brigadeiro!! My new favorite brigadeiro. Amazingly delicious.. They are all friendly too. Congratulations Brigadeiro Bakery for the awsome work you do.
It is small place, it was a big surprise for me, the explosion of many flavors in my mouth. You must got and eat it!
By far the best coffee in the village. Even better than the australian place
Please try the traditional Brigadeiros - bets Brazilian dessert
Amazing.
They have the most delicious cake in New York. Its made of brigadeiro, a typical desert from Brasil. Everyone should try it.
I was introduced to this place by my boyfriend who is Brazilian and adores this establshment. We come by for any excuse he think of - birthday, anniversay, Friday, were nearby. As someone who has had traditional homemade brigadeiro multiple times, I have to say this place never disappoints. They have a wide variety of fun takes on brigadeiro without losing the essence of the dessert. They also have a few other Brazilian treats like pão de queijo, which they will happily heat up for you. The service is quick and kind, the staff are friendly. They also have Wi-Fi. I definitely recommend stopping by and trying this decadent dessert that you wont soon forget!
Delicious!! These tasty little treats called brigadeiro are made out of sweet condensed milk, basically little dulce de leche bonbons!! Brigadeiro Bakerys brigadeiro are soft and gooey and theyre the perfect size for how sweet they are. The different types add very distinct combinations of flavors but my favorite has to be the almond covered. The folks there are super helpful and its a cute space with room for tea or coffee for a few!
A Brazilian friend told me about this place early this morning and I got there just as they were opening. The pão de queijo came straight from the oven and was out of this world! I will be frequenting here often.
This is THE place to get brigadeiros, a traditional Brazilian fudge. But everything else is really good. Try the pão de queijo, too. Its the best in the city!
Love this place brazil@nyc
Very friendly staff and owners with delicious desserts.
Love this brigadeiros! Will be coming back for sure!
Go here get gellatto. Dont miss it... Its legit
Great pastry and espresso
Great desserts and coffee.
I love the honey cake, great stuff!
Good selection of flavors.
A bit expensive but really good quality
Amazingly kind :)
This is the real brigadeiro. If youve never had one, its worth picking up a sampler pack.
Bad customer service
Truffles are excellent
Fantastic!
Ok
Delicious!!!
The brigadeiros are very good. But it could put more friendly and humorous people to meet.
Delicious cheese bread!
It has a very strange schedule, it is the second time I go and I can not buy today because they were in meeting an hour before closing and a month ago I was also closed when Google was open. Better call before you go.
Brazilian brigadeiros done by perfection
