The entire Staff at Toyota of Manhattan was fantastic for me during the entire process. I reached a deal and received my car within 4hrs and was amazed at their professionalism and efficiency. Wow, what an awful customer experience! I scheduled regular service for my Toyota Camry hybrid. No one tells me their location has moved during the scheduling process and so the Google Map destination takes me to a Cadillac dealership. Then, I get there and they tell me their NYS Inspection machine is broken and so they cant provide full service. Then, they try to charge me for servicing my leased vehicle. I clarify for their agent, John Maya the terms of a Toyota lease vs. ownership and the party responsible for service and maintenance of the asset (Toyotas asset). He then brings in his supervisor, Carmine Pinella who doesnt care at all about customer service and simply tries again to sell the same bag of garbage. What a let down for Toyotas brand and what an abomination of customer service!

I recently purchased a car from the Toyota of Manhattan. Purchased the car from Mike great guy helped us in every way possible. When it came to receiving our license plate and registration they have not helped me in any way possible. I currently pay for a car I simply can not drive. They have been very late in getting this process done. It is currently the sixth day after my transit license has expired and they still have not completed my registration and license plates. I spoke with the manager of sales Vladimir and I have been back and fourth on recorded calls which has not got anywhere. In calls which he has stated that I as a customer will not make a difference to him if I write down my response on google. Mind you one of the main incomes in my household is through uber and uber eats therefore I am in a position I wish upon no one. I advise you being a customer with the Toyota of Manhattan is not something you would like to be .I hope this allowed you to understand how the Toyota of Manhattan works
Shopping at Toyota of Manhattan was a great experience, you can drive into their brand new building to shop for a new our used vehicle the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the car that they are selling. No need to stand out side in a parking lot they bring the car indoors for you to check out then you take the car out for a test drive. This is the future of car shopping. My salesman Michael Burbridge has been excellent in addressing my needs and having answers for all my questions we have been working hand in hand to get all the paperwork necessary to process the purchase of a (CPO) certified pre-owned car. This was a great shopping experience no pressure salesman a sales team willing to bend over backwards to help you get what you need.

Came in to test drive a car which I was really excited about potentially buying. I organized an appointment and took the train all the way up and walked over to 11th avenue. I arrived 5 minutes early. They took my license and everything, but then all of a sudden the “sales person” Raymond told me the vehicle was unavailable for test drive due to “time.” They offered no more details, nor did they offer to have me come in at a later date (not that I would have at this point). Their excuse was that it was a “showroom” car and they closed in 30 minutes. Of course this makes no sense, because with the vehicle being on the first floor I could have just taken it out right there and been back in 5-10 minutes! Plus I made an appointment! Well, they just lost a sale on one of their more expensive vehicles. I’ll take my money elsewhere, where the customer matters.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!! Tatiana and Kevin were absolutely the BEST. Ive been leasing for over 20 years and Ive never experienced such amazing customer service. Tatiana was extremely knowledgeable, patient and definitely tended to our needs. She even went ahead and brought a game for my 6 year old to entertain herself while we worked on a deal. False advertising, what a waste of time - looked at their site and saw the car that interested me and my family. Went in and after spending time with the vehicle, the sales person would not honor the MSRP priced. He quoted us $4000 more than what the sticker price on both the car and the website was (taxes and fee factored in the calculation and it was still $4k over).Caused a lot of stress for my family and we left extremely disappointed. If you advertise the price on BOTH your website AND literally on the car, shouldn’t we be paying that plus normal tax & registration?Salesperson also made a rather odd comment about our race saying “I serviced a lot of Asian people like you and have happy customers”. Why does being Asian matter here?
Went to the place for possible good deal. 👉First, 2 manager gave me mixed messages. 1 said the car is no longer available. Then another called and said it is still available. I went in spite of.👉 Second, When I get there, I saw the car its nice but has several noticeable scratches and big dent in the passenger door. And lastly theres an accident damage at the left rear which was NOT REPORTED.👉 lastly, the car is dirty inside, full of ANIMAL FUR. Have I known, I shouldnt have come to see the car. They didnt even went for negotiation. POOR SERVICE( except free parking) ITS A WASTE OF OF MY TIME. I took a time-off for nothing.If you want the names of the persons I spoke with and the car I was talking about, let me know....
A friend of mine recommended that I go to Toyota of Manhattan. I checked on line last week and saw the 2016 RAV4, a pre-owned car, for sale with very low mileage. The following Monday I went to the Toyota of Manhattan dealer and was referred by Kevin, the general sales manager to Mike B. It was a great experience. Bait & SwitchedGot quoted a great price for an XLE Premium and was told that the vehicle was unavailable to be seen. Upon delivery, my wife went to pickup the vehicle only to find out they added $500 on the dealed price & was told to “take a walk back an hour where you came from”. So she gave in but in the end it was an XLE Standard that added another $3000 to the price. I got really Ripped off!Watch Out dealing with these Scum Bags!
I recently leased my 3rd car from Toyota of Manhattan. I worked with Will Howard who I would recommend. He was terrific and attended to every detail and concern before, during, and after the transaction. He clearly understands customer service and what it takes to get repeat customers. The manager, Kevin is great as well! He makes sure that you know that your business is appreciated. Finally, the service at this Toyota is 1st rate. The routine maintenance is thorough and fast. The staff there is great as well. Ive worked with Jenn a couple of times. She is great with text updates, and aside from paying for one tail light that was crunched parking in NYC, I havent paid for anything routine. Overall, I am impressed with the way these folks operate. They run a tight ship!

My experience at this dealership have been horrible! This dealership has no business ethics. Unfortunately, over time I discovered my 2010 Prius which I paid in full started to malfunction. The wheels started squeaking, the spark plugs and the throttle body needs to be serviced. Good thing I took my vehicle to Toyota of Hackensack for an inspection. Hackensack discovered something wrong with the steering column.In addition the key does not work to unlock the door which came with the key fob. Imagine my wireless device not working and I need to enter my car and I had to rely on me traditional key. Sucks to be me!My inquiry is why would you sell a vehicle to another human being and not do a full inspection of this vehicle? Also, if you can not give me a functional key to open a door in case of emergency. I dont want to even think about what other surprises are going to surface. Jeepers!Also, I texted the service manger and there has been No response! and I have texted the salesman who partnered with me regarding my purchase. No response!As a military veteran my former Commander and Chief Ronald Reagan said the famous words. Trust But Verify! Your words speak truth and volume Commander and may you rest in peace.
Manager and Sales man playing good cop bad cop roles. While we were discussing the price for the car I was to buy, this another buyer showed up with a full price offer. So Manager no. 2 showed up to override the price given by Manager no. 1. It felt like a perfect con setup and not a dealership I would trust or recommend to others. If I could rate it less than 1, I would.
Went in looking for a family vehicle. My salesperson Will was amazing. He was so helpful. Explained everything to me with detail and showed me my options. He helped us find the car perfect for our family. He took his time with us. I have bought a lot of cars in the past and he is by far the best salesperson. Worst experience. The Manager was rude and didn’t have any manners to deal with the customer. I got a quotation from their dealership and when I moved in they said that they cannot honour the quote anymore and quoted me a double price. They kept on asking to show me in writing but when I showed them their email they sent it wasn’t sent be the manger himself. Although the salesman has clearly mentioned to me in the email that it was after the approval of the manger he quoted me.I am attaching the snapshot of their email to me. It is for you to judge now.Please avoid this dealership at all cost. These people are there to rob you. Go to a better dealership.

I would say the service is adequate, but I really like Jennifer out of everyone.Over the summer, had a flat, front wheel needed to be replaced and they had the tire I needed. Quick service. I just purchased my vehicle from them and asked for additional protection, buying a extended service contract but they sold me a catastrophic protection plan which was obviously not what I wanted. I set up a service appointment at 8:15 am, when I arrived they told me that it didnt matter that I had an appointment, just to sit in my car on a side street practically on the west side highway. So why do they make appointments and I tried to contact them the day before to confirm the appointment and discuss this bogus plan they sold me but they didnt pick up the phone and when I left a message for a call back they never returned the call and of coarse I took the day off for nothing. I called Toyota corporate but so far they have not responded. These guys at Toyota of Manhattan dont give a dam about the customer or providing service.
Took my Toyota Rav 4 in for a paint peeling issue recall. I met with service advisor Nick, he was very pleasant and address my situation with no hesitation. He took pictures of my cars paint peeling call me later that day to inform me that I qualify and Toyota will cover the cost to repaint the affected parts of my car. I took my car in and had it back in 5 business days. Car looks great! I love when things go smoothly. Thank you NICK!!

I just leased my first car ever in my life -- the new 2021 Toyota Highlander. Yes, I am happy with my car. But the reason, I am taking a moment to write a review is because of the above and beyond service and genuine care and consideration I felt from Mike B. I have dedicated my life to restaurants and hospitality is at the center of my being. I have honed my own craft and I try to train others in hospitality. I have an acute awareness of it in others. Mike B. is the embodiment of hospitality. He exemplifies the qualities I want in all of my colleagues. He stayed late on a Monday night after the crew had mostly left for the day and personally detailed and washed my car so that I could drive it home. He called me the next day to offer more of his time to review the controls of the car. He exceeds expectations and under promises and over delivers. I brought my car to have Toyota investigate a slow leak in one for my tires. The initial visit did not yield a cause but the tire continued to lose pressure. A second visit revealed a small puncture in one of the sidewalls. And the tire was replaced gratis because it was still under warranty. Their service department is top-notch and with their adoption of text messaging the progress of my service visit is now no longer a mystery
They are a bunch of con artists, predatory people. They are not truly consumer friendly. They dismiss you once you peep their hands. This was my second attempt to see if they have changed their tactics, but they didnt.

I just purchased a vehicle at this place and here is my experience.1) The vehicle was advertised (on Carfax) as preowned certified for a x amount it clearly stated that the only other fees were for title, registration and tag. At the end of the process before going up to finance they they slapped me with an additional 2000 dollars certification fee. False advertising? Deceptive? Read on...2) The vehicle was delivered to me the next week. The interior was terribly dirty and awfully smelly, the seats had ingrained stains in them. I had to pay 200 for a thorough car wash and it still has some weird odor. The fact that they dont take the time to clean the interior of their vehicles tells you all you need to know about this dealership.3) I got the vehicle with a chip in the windshield. (They did offer me to bring it back for service but it was not worth the hassle for me) Again tells you how little this place takes care of their cars/customers.4) I got a crazy super high interest rate on my finance although I have outstanding credit.5) Last but not least, after the sale I asked the general sales manager to send me the certification inspection report of the vehicle and also the purchase order with a breakdown of all the charges I paid for (so I can take up with corporate if I was ripped off on the certification fee). I also asked this form my sales person. He assured me twice he will send it to me. But to this day they utterly refuse to send me these docs. I emailed them multiple times. They totally ignore my emails and phone calls or they respond with some poor excuse.To sum it up, I just spent a huge amount of money with this place and they treat me like a cockroach. They do not take good care of their cars or customers. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They are deceptive, and arrogant. Go find a dealership that will treat you with care and respect.I usually dont leave reviews and especially not negative ones but here I felt treated very badly and wanted to share this with other people so they can chose more wisely. Stay away form this place.

Had a great experience with Toyota of Manhattan I leased my second RAV 4 with them about a year and a half ago. Vladimir and Kevin were great I had an accident about a month ago and contacted them again. With everything that was going on they were so helpful in helping me obtain an new vehicle. I had a new car within a week of my old one being totaled. I have referred my coworker to them who lived in Queens and she purchased her RAV 4 from them as well. They even delivered the car to my work place in NJ. I look forward to having a long relationship with this dealership.

Chris Torres is a masterful salesman, but was ethical and guided me right! No tricks or hidden costs, reasonable rates and a professional, courteous staff. The service department matches. The managers and mechanics are truly top notch.No games here… They pay attention to detail and have taken great care of whatever problem I’ve had. From the moment we walked in we were amazed by how kind and personable everyone we interacted with was. Chris was particularly wonderful and walked us through everything step by step answering all of our questions. We ended up requesting a customization and Chris personally went to another location and drove it back for us within 2 days - a process that usually takes minimum 1 week. Very disappointed in this dealership. We waited about two weeks for our vehicle to come in (which was not the issue, we were happy to wait). When we went in to pick it up, they said the vehicle was $750 more than what we agreed on. Despite us signing a deal, they said they couldn’t honor our agreement and the issue was “someone clicked the wrong button” that gave us a larger discount. We asked twice during the negotiation to make sure this rebate was correct before signing and they said yes. So after all of that, they explain to us that even though we put down a deposit and signed an agreement, they couldn’t honor the deal. We are moving so we needed the vehicle ASAP, so while we were able to get a little over $500 off the price, the entire experience was an absolute nightmare and it still wasn’t equal to what we agreed on. Very disappointed in this entire experience. It is not our fault that someone clicked the wrong button. People spend a LOT of money on a car and the business should have the ability to click a button correctly. Not a good excuse. The only positive review I will give is that the salesman who we first dealt with during the negotiation was very polite and treated us well.

I had an amazing experience buying my 2020 Highlander at Toyota of Manhattan. Tatiana was my sales person and she was fantastic. The gentleman who signed me up Yancarlos also was very personable and explained everything I was signing to make sure I understood. Overall it was a world class 5 star experience for me. BEWARE ! They tried to take me to the cleaners for a broken window control arm and window motor replacement They quoted me over 1k for the necessary work. I refused and they charged me almost $200 for doing absolutely nothing but trying to scam me. Ended up going to my local mechanic and he found that the control arm was just missing a bolt. He said he would feel bad for charging me because it was such a simple fix. Window now works fine now. Dont let these scumbags rip you off esp the GM Mike and Nick the service Tech.

I called them before I leave my house to make sure the car is available, they confirm the car still available, then I drove from my home in Staten Island 90 minutes then they told me the car is sold in the morning, do you believe that could happened in 21century in Manhattan????!!!!!

On Tuesday 2/25/20 I have visited this dealership with the intention of swapping my CPO 2018 Corolla for a Certified Preowned Highlander 2018 with about 30+ miles on it. The sales man name Vladimir explained to me that used will cost me $26,569 but CPO will be $27,569 (1K more than what their website and Carfax advertised) right after that I was already disappointed. Not to mention that I had $11K remaining on my Corolla finance contract.He went to his manager for numbers, the offer was $10K for my Corolla, meaning that I will have to pay them $1K to complete the trade in.I went in there knowing that my car value was at $11K I just wanted to see in what conditions the Highlander was.I walked out straight to Open Road Volkswagen 4 blocks away, end up leaving with a 2019 VW Tiguan with only 800 miles on it for the about $28K and they took care of the $11K remaining of the Corolla finance.Just be honest and try to really get your clients “The Best deal” love Toyota, poor sales service this time.

I had a great experience at Toyota Manhattan working with Tatiana and her Managers. I have been to multiple Toyota and the experience can’t compare to the service at this location. We did have a few issues but it was resolved and i’m happy with my first vehicle. I will recommend this location to my friends and family. We had a great experience leasing a new Camry. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Mike B was very friendly and seemed like he genuinely wanted to help us have the best experience. There was a long wait to finalize our paperwork but Mike B and Kevin were very apologetic and made sure we were taken care of. A great experience!
I had a really great experience with this Toyota dealership when buying my first car, which was so meaningful to me especially after a bad experience with my local one. Mike B was charismatic and welcoming, very helpful with every step of the process. Afterwards he wasn’t one of those guys who are like “ok here are your keys— bye!” He took the time to go over my new car with me before I left. It felt as though he was genuinely happy for me and wanted to be helpful. Very positive experience.

Dealership asked for $200 deposit by credit card before searching for the car I wanted with a promise that the deposit would be refunded/credited back. Paid cash for the car and again was promised that the $200 would be credited back to my account. It was not. Six phone calls later and despite promises to refund my deposit, there has been no refund. The day I picked up the car it took almost two hours to get out of the dealership without the car because the car was not ready for delivery. High pressure attempt to buy an extended service contract by the closer/finance person. I declined. Car was delivered with an almost empty tank of gas despite the window sticker statement that a full tank would be delivered with the vehicle. Tires were under inflated by 7 pounds on each tire. Upon returning home, I found that the protective shipping film had not been removed from the roof and other parts of the car inside and out. Had to do that myself. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend buying from this dealer. I am still trying to get my $200 credited back to my credit card. UPDATE: After filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, my $200 was returned to me. UPDATE 2. In response to your request, If the general manager wants to speak with me, you have my phone number. I will not call him, since he never returned my 2 phone calls to him.
I worked with Mike B to lease a new Toyota, and couldnt have asked for a better sales partner to set me up. Ive only owned in the past, and asked about 9 million questions during the leasing process. Mike B and the other Toyota associates were incredibly helpful and answered every question with patience and grace. Whats more, when I wanted a silver car (vs. the black one they had in stock), Mike drove to Brooklyn to pick it up and bring it to Manhattan for me! Im thrilled with my new car and so glad I went with Toyota Manhattan.

I appreciate the service I have received today from multiple staff members here. I felt very comfortable and they were very knowledgable about what was going on. I spoke with George Vakkou who used to work for Toyota he then helped me to get into contact with the General Manager Mike Grau. In which Mike took very good care of me and helped me through everything. Also the service advisor & cashier Jennifer Wong & Cynthia Tavarez was very nice and helpful as well. Overall the experience that i received today was very helpful and i appreciate everything.

WORST DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER BEEN TO - AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Terrible customer service. Salesman demanded the car must be picked up Friday. Scheduled an appointment for 430 Friday to pick up the car. 2 hours later and they cant even tell me when the finance guy will be ready. Still 2 people in front of me. They’re getting a check for the car. Why am I wasting hours of my time to get upsold on tires and paint protection by the finance guy? RidiculousUPDATE - called Kevin to discuss my concerns. Of course he didnt pick answer. Never called back. Shocker

This dealership was fantastic. They helped me professionally and efficiently and were very pleasant to work with (I worked with Tatiana, Kevin, and Freddie). And I left with a great car! I highly recommend using them and will certainly go back for all my future needs regarding my car ownership.
If you need bodywork done to your car DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!!! When I received my car from being rear ended not only did these guys take my car to get food but left crumbs in the backseat and the drivers side floor mat was caked in MUD also the body shop is not in the dealership THEY DRIVE YOUR CAR TO NEW JERSEY!!! And they left even more SCRATCHES on the roof of my new car. Such a shame but learn from my mistake and go to another body shop.

I went in to check out a few cars and was greeted and helped by a gentleman named Jeudi Marte. Test drove a Camry and he help me with the process. I must say A1 customer service from him, very attentive, showed professionalism and answered my questions with ease and honesty. He made me feel like I was part of the family. Great service from him and would recommend him when visiting.
