So I walked in and there was a rep helping other customers so I was waiting for them to finish so I could get assistance. They then disappeared. My friend and I browsed the store for about a good 15 minutes without even being acknowledged by staff. Another 2 people walk in and one of the staff members basically meets them at the door offering assistance. How does the staff choose who they want to help and who they want to ignore? I left feeling disrespected, ignored and feeling sour about Tesla as a whole.

Awesome showroom, we went to test the Model Y. We were looking for the one with a bit more height than the model 3. The showroom was pristine and the attendants were super friendly and helpful. This is great customer service.

CyberTruck weekend was amazing

Friendly and intelligent staff. Should be the easiest job, selling Tesla. Sales still an art, tho. That weekend the showroom was out of cars. Apparently Tesla sold over 200,000 cars this quarter, another record sales. Could be the reason.

I forgot my Krispy Kreme donuts in the backseat of a model 3, but it was only about 2 donuts so I’m not too upset but donut is donut.

We were so excited to get to see the model 3 in real life. Lindsay was so helpful and competent, answered all our questions and showed us the car, the store is really easy to find, next to Chelsea market and the sky line. The car is wonderful, minimalistic inside, one gets a zen feeling inside of it. Cannot wait to get ours.

Let me start by saying I love love love this brand and the Model 3. However, it was such a bummer when I had to set up an appointment 3 different times. The first one was Christmas Day so I was surprised they were open or at least I thought they were. I got there after a 50 min train ride to learn they were closed. The second time I got all they way down there on January 1st (my birthday) to see a sign on the door that said closed for the day. Turns out that the third time really is a charm. I finally got to test drive the model 3 and it was everything I would hoped it to be. Such a great car. The ride quality. The suppleness of the seats. The acceleration from the instant torque. The autopilot. Hopefully I’ll be able to get the Model 3 Performance soon. Fingers crossed. Hi Elon!

What a great experience this was for me! I came here to just check the Model 3 out, and before I knew it, I was test driving the 3! The customer experience specialist (Anthony) is a gem. He made my experience utterly fantastic! And now I’m a happy owner of a Model 3 performance dual wheel drive!

New flagship store that has the model 3 available to sit in as well as the x and s. Gourmet coffee is available in the back for free as well as test drive appointments. The model 3 usually has line on weekends and they limit you to two minutes in car and two minutes looking around outside of car. Test drives for the three are not allowed yet. You can see the other posting colors up close on the wall in rear of store.

I came down to the dealership and, even though the website said it was open, it was locked up and a hand lettered sign on the door said that it was temporarily closed for the day. A trip was wasted.On the other hand, on a different occasion I made an appointment and came down for a test drive and everything worked smoothly.Take your chances. Wonderful cars, but customer service is not Teslas strong point.

Went there at 6:58pm. But the store is closed. So don’t trust the opening time on website.

As you would hope, the NYC Tesla location is superb. Everyone here has been extremely helpful in the buying process. I was aware of how difficult the process of actually GETTING a model 3 is and everyone here has busted every message board myth about how ‘horrible dealing with Tesla’ is. It’s been a huge relief. Blaine has been incredibly patient and helpful.

This is a brand new place in the block. Is located at the opposite corner from The Samsung experience. You cant miss it. With its eye catching open space display. Its also open to the public. So you can easily come on in and enjoy Teslas cars. They are freaking amazing!! They even offer free test drives. So you can easily try them out before buying. I definitely know what my future car is going to be. Ask for Annie, cute red head representative. Shes amazing and very knowledgeable about the cars. Enjoy!

Absolutely amazing! The service was great especially in the showroom. And the test drive was fun and insightful. The co-driver answered all of our questions and gave information I hadnt heard before and based on my personal experience. Overall great and cannot wait to purchase my Tesla!

Great store, such a shame that teenagers with no intention to buy were occupying the cars while kissing and doing other stuff. The worse part is that the staff didnt do anything to change the situation. Had to ask them to stop partying at the Model X to be able to have a look! Such a shame for an otherwise world changing company

Amazing place! Gabriel and Kate are SUPER HELPFUL! The staff are so friendly and not overbearing like sales people at other dealerships. They focus on educating the public about EVs and they all have a true passion for it. Love the energy at this location. We can’t wait to get our model 3!

Welcoming staff and good service overall

We went for a test drive with Joshua (model X). This was my first time driving an electric vehicle. It didn’t disappoint. I’m from Australia. So I’m used to driving on the other-side of the road. The route Joshua selected for us was great. I had no issues adjusting to the car or road. I wasn’t prepared for the instant power. What a car. So clearly the future. I was also surprised by the handling. The X feels light and nimble. Deceiving given its size and weight. Joshua was passionate about Tesla’s mission, and his enthusiasm was infectious. A great experience. Not something I usually say about car dealerships.

LIED BY THE SALES TEAM. I was given wrong information by the sales representatives at this location that tricked me into buying a Model 3 (great car by the way) with their promise and reassurance that I would be able to use the car with no incompatibilities in Europe. They tricked me into a sale that made me loose over 60.000 dollars because of their incompetence. Do not trust them, they have very limited know-how that is reduced to the operation of the car. After 5 months of dealing with costumer service and business resolutions they concluded that Tesla has no responsibility and they will not allow a return of the car. DO NOT BUY YOUR TESLA HERE!

Visited twice as I was staying nearby for a few nights while on holiday. Both times the showroom was closed due to “private events”. I really wanted to see the Model 3 l, that is still unavailable in my home country. So is this place an exclusive private club or an actual car showroom for potential buyers???

Friendly staff super knowledgeable. Highly recommend going in for a test drive. I personally think youre better off going for a test drive later in the day to try to avoid rush hour. To get the full Oh shoot factor that is synonymous with driving a Tesla unhinged. I love Tesla!!

Is the cyber truck still in display?

The most simplistic car dealership you will ever step foot into. After a quick hello the friendly staff dont bother you at all (which is a welcome reprieve from literally every other car dealership). You can sit in and interact with all features of their cars. In addition, they have a display on the wall of their solar panels and Powerwall battery pack for you to have a look at. Overall really nice and clean place.

A representative was very helpful with lots of information and opinions about the vehicle. It felt nice to try out how it feels to sit in the car for what could potentially be something you would buy.

General Tesla comment for prospective buyers in NY.Three stars because of the people in Red Hook, Brooklyn, (because they are great) minus two because of the company. This is my second Tesla (S then X). The S was awesome because I purchased it before the X or 3 came out so I received lots of attention when there was an issue and parts were abundant. However, because of investor pressure and multiple models, Elon is so focused on production of cars that he forgot about parts. If you have a problem, like hitting a massive pothole in NY (does that happen?!) and your tie rod is bent, you will not have your car back for months. Thats not Tesla service centers fault, thats Teslas fault, because parts are not a focus ( no way we are sending that rod for a Tesla we already sold, we need it for a Tesla we have to deliver). Before you buy a Tesla, ask to speak with the service department. Look around at how many Teslas are in the shop. Ask them how long they have been there and for what. Ask how many authorized Tesla service centers are near you (because, yes, Tesla has to certify a third party shop). Go visit that third party shop and ask why so many Teslas are in there, how long they have been there, and why. I can only hope Elon reads this because I love the car.....but if this continues, Im selling.

Great service and excellent cars. Staff was super courteous even though we left without putting down a deposit. Love the company love the cars, and if youre thinking about taking a test drive this is a great place to do it.

Lovely all the time

I’ve been on like 5 test drives because I love Tesla’s so much but don’t have the money to buy one. One day though. This place has been super accommodating as I introduced my family, friends, wife, in-laws and cousins to Tesla cars. They all loved the experience because how could you not? I will be back again - maybe next time I’ll drive off the lot with one.

I thought I would never go with an electric car, yet here we go. Great news was that they are coming out with a truck in about 2 years

First time getting to see the Model 3 in person and it doesnt disappoint. Excellent car, and cant wait to get ours.Tesla went out of their way to make the entire experience great, including waiting in line, with water, hot cocoa, or coffee/espresso; great conversation with staff from surrounding stores to answer any questions and help.We were able to spend about 10 minutes with the car and covered the things I was interested in, followed by spending as much time around the car as needed.Also have to give credit for having staff to help with solar and Powerwall questions. Id love to get to test drive our future car, but the only real question I need to have answered now is when will our non-owner invite to configure come 😉?

This Tesla showroom is absolutely wonderful. We were helped by Ryan, who was funny and very helpful. We chatted about all three cars (S, X, 3) for almost an hour. He even got us cold brew nitro coffee. The cars are beautiful and it was great to finally see a Model 3. I highly recommend checking this store out!

Very helpful and informative staff along with beautiful vehicles. They are one of a handful of locations that got a Model 3 in early 2018. Location is near some great food and tourist options with the Standard, bubbys and Chelsea market right nearby.

Super friendly staff. I just came in and sat around in the cars. The staff also explains things and will answer questions.

The staff here was very helpful and gave you time alone if you wanted it but were readily available if you had a question. Their knowledge of the vehicles impressed me too, I am used to knowing more about products I am shopping for than the sales people.

I was visiting from Toronto, Ontario and walked in with my girlfriend for I love the cars and being only 21 it was obvious I was in no position to be buying a car from them. The gentlemen there saw I knew about the cars specs and capabilities and offered a test drive, after I declined for I’m not accustomed to nyc driving, they then said “well what if we take you out in one and show you around” I jumped at the offer and my girlfriend even enjoyed the ride too! I wish I remembered these two gentamans names for they were down to earth guys who loved talking cars and just wanted to make someone leave happier then when they arrived. Thanks again, it was for sure one of my highlights of my trip to the big apple!-Harrison

Drove the new Tesla model X. Wowie wowie need to drive with the ludicrous mode on wow. I cant believe the power in this vehicle. 1st time driving an all electric vehicle and Tesla wow great vehicle my kids are in love with it as myself and my wife. Car is a sports car it goes from zero to 60 in 2.8 seconds wow and my kids wanted more lol. Imagine an all electric car with performance of a super car just crazy and the model X is beautiful in every way comfort styling with LCD screens with glass roof so quite you cant even tell car is on. I also tried the self parking it was a breeze how easy and quick it is just one tap on the LCD screen and remove hands and feet and car takes control and parks itself wow so sweet and easy I couldnt believe my kids didnt believe when I told them hey look no hands parking they were in awe as myself. I have a vehicle which has this park yourself feature but never tried it as scared of damaging my car or hurting someone. This was just a breeze so easy and effortless. Also do not forget to ask the dealer to so you the music show xmas show. Its insane and beautiful car does a song and dance with doors opening and closing all to the beat of a song with lights flashing just beautiful overall very nice SUV and now I am interested in getting one soon
