I was searching high and low for a TREK bike and not one location before the Stuy Town store had what I wanted. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff, especially Eric. I purchased my new Emonda on a Wednesday and had a ready date by Friday. My order was rushed and it was ready the next day. I picked up my bike, my seat was sized to my height by a lovely young lady, I believe her name was Hailey. I am not that great with names so please forgive me.I had my first ride this morning and I have to say after not being on a bike in over 10 years, this bike gave me a wonderful ride. I have been feeling wonderful all day!!!Thank you Eric and StuyTown Trek!

I purchased the FX Sports 5. Based on my test drive, it handled well. Very responsive and agile. the drivetrain, although not a 105, shifted seamless and responded well. Now, as for the sales person, Erik, he was on point and covered all the bases. Definitely a go to person for any bike questions. Thank you!

I did not know a single thing about bikes but knew that I wanted to get my own after riding a Citibike for so long. Edward first helped me on the phone and suggested a few bikes which fit my riding style.I then came into the store a few weeks later and both Edward and Ned helped me procure the bike that I thought was perfect for me. A few weeks later the bike was built and waiting to be picked up.Absolutely seamless experience, super informative and they know their stuff! Looking forward to going back for my 1 year tune up!

After already doing the work to repair my bike, the staff insisted I give them my phone number, e-mail address and name. When I said I preferred not to, they acted like they couldn’t possibly ring me up without “creating a profile”.If there are extra requirements (like giving personal information) beyond the basic payment of cash, you need to tell the customer that before doing the work, otherwise make it optional.The repair work was fine but I suggest people avoid this place until that policy is changed, unless you don’t mind giving your phone number to a random business that doesn’t have any reason to need it.

I like the concept of a company owned store selling a single brand of bicycle with every model they make in all sizes and colors (just about). Its a clean and corporate and professional business model and the store is run that way; the guys are dressed professionally, and have passion for riding and for the bikes they sell.

I went to this Trek Bicycle location because they were the only one that had the model mountain bike that I was looking for.When I first tried to reach out to them, the store was closed for renovations for a week, but I was able to email the site to tell them what I was looking for. They responded quickly and helpfully to my email.When the store eventually reopened, I came in to buy the bike and I was helped patiently by Eric. He spent over half an hour helping me with another issue and with the purchase of the bike. I was very happy with my experience at this site.The only thing I am bothered by is the nickel and diming that Tfek does. Wheels on a plus mountain bike should come already set up tubeless (the way that Giant dies it.).even if they dont, installing them should not be considered an upgrade and should be free with the purchase of a new bike.

Edward and the entire staff were so incredibly helpful in getting me my dream bike!Ive been looking for a new bike for a few months and with the pandemic, theyve been very hard to come by! When I came across the Electra Loft 7D, I knew it was the bike for me! The StuyTown Trek only had one left and when I spoke with Edward, he spent so much time talking about the bike and reviewing the purchasing process with me. He was so beyond helpful and even put all my information into their system so I could come in and easily buy the bike.I ended up coming into this location the very next day to buy the bike (I was worried someone would buy it before me!!). Katy and Edward assisted in the purchasing process.I just picked it up on Saturday and Im in love! I was given so much attention in the bike shop. This place is a gem. They were so nice and welcoming to me, my wife and our 20 month old curious daughter. We walked out with the bike we wanted and with confidence in our purchase. Thank you to Simplee and Edward. Really appreciate you guys.Update: Meant to write this a while ago. We bought an accessory rack meant for the child seat associated with Topeak. When we walked to the car I noticed the rack said NOT MEANT FOR CHILD SEAT. I walked back and explained to salesman I just spoke with earlier and he said not to worry. WELL long and behold when I got home to assemble the child seat it did not fit. Waste of 50 bucks but since we traveled from Long Island to the city for this bike I wasnt going back any time soon or to any Trek store for that matter. The experience annoyed me to say the least. Take that as you will.

Jeez I love these folks. Dont know what Id do with out them here in Stuytown. Im always greeted with a cheerful can-do. They communicate really well via text, phone and e-mail. The space is spotless and airy. Its my first choice for repairs and maintenance here in the neighborhood. We have a couple TREK bikes so its worth it for us to go here even if they cost a little more than other shops, because they always have the parts.

What an outstanding service. My husband and I were looking for two 16 inches bikes for our niece and nephew and Edward and another associate worked miracles. The store only had one bike and they got busy locating another store to find the second bike. They found it and we were able to go pick up the second bike from another store. Thank you for making my hubby and I look like super stars when we gave the bikes to our niece and nephew.

Due to the store being closed and my need to get a helmet in order to ride my bicycle for various errands instead of taking the subway, I called the store and the manager was very helpful first in helping me pick a helmet and in letting me buy it. I went by the store, he came out, took my credit card and id, and then came back with my helmet. Excellent customer service! Look forward to going back there for bicycle service now that Ive become a NYC bike rider!

Purchased a bike here a few months ago. Have since put 500 miles on the bike. Team has been helpful when I returned for minor adjustments. Definitely recommend for those looking to get into road biking.

I hadn’t had a tune-up on my 25 year-old road bike in over three years. Joshua provided a thorough bid which included lat/vertical wheel true, new cassette and chain, new brake and shifter cables, shifter/brake adjustment as well as detailed cleaning. The total cost for labor and parts was exactly what he stated in the bid (about $300) and was completed in about 24 hours as promised. My bike rides like new—very impressive service.

The crew are always welcoming, patient and helpful. Theyre experts and treat me as if I am. Its a joy every time I visit the shop.
