Sammy is the best! Quick, affordable, solid work. I had a chain replaced and two new bike tires installed. Deep rim tires are a pain too take off and put on. All done in about 20 minutes. Glad I found him.

Sammy is amazing! I had a severe flat from a 3 screw embedded so deeply it punctured the bike rim. I searched online to see if there were any bike places open nearby at 6pm and Gotham Fix was only 2 blocks away. Sammy explained what he was doing in a kind, noncondescending way, installed a new tube, patched the rim with electrical tape and patched my tire for an amazing $20. He was my only option in the moment, but he won a recurrent customer out of me.

Saved my ride when my seat collapsed and didn’t take a tool set. Amazing savior and very helpful as he did a quick fitting for me too.

Sammy is amazing! Very comprehensive tune-up (addressed both braking and shifting issues) and when I went to pick it up, he asked if I wanted my kickstand shortened (I didn’t even know you could do that!?!!!). Cannot recommend Sammy highly enough!

I was on a ride with my girlfriend when her rear derailleur got eaten up by her rear wheel. It seemed like our ride was ruined; there wasnt a quick fix, and it seemed like there were no bike shops nearby. But looking closely, Sammys van popped up on Google Maps. I called and he said he could fix it no problem. Sure enough, we showed up and Sammy immediately started fixing the bike. he worked quickly and before we knew it the bike was fixed. I brought my bike in to Sammy because my rear tire kept going flat, although I didnt see any hole. Sammy took my bike almost immediately when I arrived, mounted it, and immediately diagnosed the problem. He replaced the interior of the tire and fixed the issue. The bike was returned to me in about 15 minutes for a very reasonable price. I will certainly be returning in the future when my bike needs maintenance.

Great service, very fast turnaround. Had a shifting problem I didnt know what to do with. Dropped the bike off with Sammy and came back in 45 min and it was all fixed.

Sammy is really fantastic. I was exhausted taking my bike to a big bike repair shop in Chelsea and they seemed unfocused in sorting out the issue. After the umpteenth time taking my bike there - I went to Sammy.Sammy quickly figured out that my rear derailer was bent and he had this tool to measure the angle and fixed in in 20 min while I waited. He also tuned up the bike quickly and added lubricant making the bike run really smoothly.I went back with my mountain bike who CB Sammy said that the weel had become misaligned and was rubbing against the brake making a squeaky noise. Again he fixed it very quickly while I waited and charged me reasonably.I love people like Sammy - they work hard, are honest and know how to do a good job.If you have ANY bike repair please go to Sammy and you will be satisfied..

Life saver. Our tires were flat and our peddle was about to break off as well. He repaired the crank (which was why the peddle was screwed up). Put the air in our tires and actually taught us how to read the air gauge for our tires (as we been doing it wrong this whole time).
