5/10/21, limited selection of wigs! But you never know what youll find on sales. Sometime the last one SALE, is the one style youve been looking for. I wish the stores would device a method to find a wig color, without help. I went on a Wednesday and it was crowed like Mothers Day!! And there was a line and I have to check for pink and peach wigs!!

As a gentleman who prides himself on good grooming habits, this beauty supply store has been my favorite place to go to for the standard and latest hair care products on the market. I prefer not to shop around to other stores. Customer service is readily accessible. I highly recommend this store to others.

I always go this beauty supply store to buy my hair. The guy at the counter in the back, I believe his name is Ryan is always so nice to me. Also, when I need help on selecting some hair or a wig, Cynthia is the best. She is super sweet and very patient!!!

Best Affordable hair, Cindy is truly the best!! She makes you want to go back and buy more and more hair. I have been there twice and have been so happy. If anyone goes please ask for Cindy she is amazing!!!!!!!!!

Worst service I have ever experienced in my life. Do NOT shop here. I repeat, do NOT shop here. It is not worth your time or your effort. The people that work there have absolutely no customer service skills. I purchased some hair there a few weeks ago, had it installed and then after the third wash, the hair proceeded to form dreadlocks. I have never seen weave do such a thing. After spending $95 and being assured that it was good hair, I went back and showed them the situation that was my hair and all they offered was use baby shampoo. Hello, do you not see dreadlocks? I spoke with the owner, and he told me that there are no refunds ever. I explained that they sold me something that was advertised as more than it was. They did not care. Told me there was nothing they could do. I have never been treated with such disrespect and dismissiveness in my life. I recommend shopping online or at a company that will be willing to help you if they sold you something you are unhappy with.

Today is Wednesday, September 18th 2019.. And I went to the back of the store to find braiding hair and the Asian man behind the counter (young with glasses) and the sales associate on the floor (there was only one at that time) werent helpful and quite rude. They had what I wanted but I wouldnt spend my money there when I can be treated better at the many other beauty supply stores on West 125th street!

I attempted to buy an Andis T-Outliner, but the Asian man behind the counter refused to show me more than one set of hair clippers. He took one from behind the counter and told me that it was on sale. I asked to see a more expensive set of hair clippers high up on the shelf, but he replied Those are not on sale. This is the one that everybody buys. I replied, the price is not important. He just stood with his arms folded. I said Well, I guess you dont want to serve me. I left and will never return. I will simply buy the hair clippers on-line. These people need to be driven out of our community because they do not have any respect for the people who live in it.

They target and follow people in store, accusing them of being a thief. Many other stores with better quality stuff and amazing customer service.

Just the other day I bought 5 packs of crochet locs and was charged for two extra packs, normally I would check my receipts before leaving the store but this day I was in a rush so I didn’t notice until I got home . I went to the store two days later and was told to come back another day because the store manager wasn’t there and I would need to speak with him to deal with the issue, I went back to the store on the 7th day because there is 7th day rule which I followed wen I went the hair manager had a nasty attitude, no eye contact and when I was explaining to him what happened he was talking over me and became very combative, I’ve been shopping at this store for years I’m very surprised at how the manager dealt with the situation. They’ve lost another great Customer because I’ll never shop there again. This place deserves less than a star.

Update: i went to this store November 12 2020 and they had ALL LIVES MATTER MASKS! I put all my stuff down and walked out. I will never shop here again and i hope the rest of harlem doesnt either. Manager Bobby is very unprofessional. He racially profiles POC and follows them around the store as if they were stealing. He makes the environment hard to shop in. I’d give it 0 stars but I have to give it 1 star to leave a review.

The store is well stocked, but a bit more expensive than other beauty supply stores in the area. That being said, its a lot less expensive than what most of manhattan has to offer.Theyre a bit sketchy, though. When they add up the prices they dont do it per item, but instead per 3/4/5 items. Last time I went I noticed I was being charged about 30$ for one grouped item about half way through my stuff being scanned, despite not having any more than $26 worth of stuff. They tried to charge me $58 before I complained about the weird price. I spoke up three times, but it wasnt until I began to take a picture of the screen that showed the price that the girl behind the screen took off the price.

I walked up and down 125th Street looking for 4 lb. tub of Mizani relaxer. I know the trend is natural, but this is sheer laziness on my part. Yes, laziness. Natural hair takes time and the kind of skill I just dont have, or salon money I dont have either. So Creamy Crack it is.At $27.99 for a tub that will last me until next year, its the best value around. Those $40 dusty tubs the other stores had... ha! It was the same story with the neutralizing shampoo. $20 to Feels $16. Get out of here!Sure Id love someone else to do my hair, but at $60+ before tipping the stylist and the shampooer... nah, Ill just Vaseline my hairline and go to town on myself.By the by, all the Mizani isnt together. Its usually in a section by the cashier because that brand is rife with high shrinkage items. This tub was with the other tubs in the aisle. Just ask the really tall, really friendly guy working the floor.
