I ran into this store by accident but I am definitely a person who likes variety due to my personal needs on my skin and body. I’ve been to many big department stores and I promise the variety in this store was much more amazing down to the travel goods department which has a big section. All there departments are very detailed on the type such as salon products, multicultural products, men’s grooming and care products, bath and body, health sections, makeup section, basically everything has there own sections with every product made by those companies. I am pretty sure if you can think of it they will have it when it comes to personal care for men and women. So many products that can be discovered here that if you don’t know exactly what you’re looking for I’ll guarantee you will still purchase something. The cashier was extra helpful and nice on a speedy friendly checkout. Not too many floor associates to help on floor at time but you will definitely find your way. The store is one level and easily accessible from street.

6/17/21, Ventured in to explore - Ventured out with a $50 receipt. Vast selection, well organized encourages let me try this . Im in a facial mask phase and found a good selection at reasonable prices! I didnt even check out the entire store!!

Always & consistently harassed by both the security and the manager. Im an educated professional -- with a background as a professor and an author -- but I am definitely harassed by both the security and the manager every time I come here.The manager one day positioned me quite awkwardly with a shopping cart he presumed Id move, because he was inserting himself in my line of direction. He was essentially trying to push me, but while using his shopping cart. I told him, no im not moving, as Im shopping, He then proceeded to call security.Because I knew I wasnt doing anything wrong, that I was standing shopping, that he saw me standing shopping, and still proceeded to pre-emptively create a situation -- as he knew I was in my peace -- I told him call security.Nothing happened in terms of security. Why? Because he knew he was in the wrong.Security didnt do anything, because they knew I wasnt doing anything wrong by standing my ground. Moreso, the security had crossed me at least 5-7 times while in the shop less than 20 minutes. It got to the point, where I actually spoke to the security guard, diplomatically, about his harassing me. But he continued to harass me.Despite this being a beauty shop, the security and management can be quite ugly. If it werent for the fact that this store does have the best quality and value in terms of beauty products, I wouldnt come here; but, the value is that great.I just highly tolerate the security and management, although definitely have bigger and better things and business to handle than harassing me as a customer.

Call Harmon Face Values a personal care store. It carries bath, dental, skin care, razors, and cleaning supply products, and other products of this sort Toss in a candy & snack aisle, and you have a store worth going to. Prices are reasonably good, plus they carry a few house brand items, with lower prices. The store is well lit and attractive. Merchandise is displayed in tall shelves. It resembles a Bed Bath & Beyond store, which makes sense, because BBB owns this chain. One caveat -- the checkout line can be long. Overall, this is a good store.

Friendly workers and security 😊 But I must talk about an employee by the name of Michael who used to work in the makeup department . He is such a great person to know and be around .Due to Covid he hasnt been able to do what he used to do before in the makeup department, Such as help applying makeup to customers. Although he is able to help you with making decisions on what kind of makeup to purchase I know he truly misses what he loves doiy best . Lets just say his kindness and expertise and makeup makes you feel like youre at Macys or Sephora ❤️

Can’t say enough good things about this store. Everyone is just so nice. There’s a great selection of items too, and the store layout isn’t overwhelming. I always stop by when I’m in the area.

Theres a casual atmosphere and is usually not too busy.Convenient street parking is available.

The worst online and in-store shopping services. Only learned about my order has been cancelled through credit company without receiving any explanations or communications regarding the unexpected cancellation from this subsidiary company of Bed Bath and Beyond. Also, the cashier demanded my phone number by saying ”I want you to input your phone number in the end of the transaction.” I had to decline 3 times for her aggressive and deceptive exploitation for consumer privacy while we all know that phone number IS NOT required for in-store transaction. What a untrustworthy company!

Definitely a place to check out if you have lots of time and youre in the market for a new beauty product whether it be hair, skincare, or makeup. Theyre cheaper than at the drug store and the place is absolutely lined from floor to ceiling with hundreds of different products.They also carry things like over the counter drugs and supplements as well as random as seen on tv items. Theyre located in the same building as Michaels the craft store with a huge Trader Joes just around the corner. The staff is friendly and the line can get long sometimes but it always moves fast

This review is mainly a shout out to the older gentleman working the cosmetics department (whose name unfortunately I did not get). He needs to be nominated employee of the year based on his helpfulness, extensive knowledge of beauty products, service orientation, and the PRIDE he takes in his job. Great store, but for Gods sake give this man a well deserved raise if you havent already.

Harmon is the best kept secret in NYC when it comes to toiletries, bar none! They sell brand name items like body wash, hair care products, tooth paste, tooth brushes, etc for reasonable prices. Better prices than the major pharmacy chains. Same exact products for better products.

Went there 2 days ago and they have really come through during this whole COVID-19 ordeal. Theyve placed limits on items and its fine. It gives a chance for everyone to take home something thats truly needed, especially during these times. They have always been polite and willing to help, and still are, especially now. Everyone had masks on when I walked in. Special thanks to Ivette, the ladies at the front door greeting (3 of them: 2 with glasses and another without), the cashiers, a tall security guard who actually helped reach something for me and the rest of the kind men in the store either re-stocking or at the cash rep as well. They really showed everyone compassion and kindness, especially during check out. Thank you guys!

I always pass by this place and never stopped by until now. They have more than just beauty supplies. They have vegan snacks, dog toys, pee pads, water bottles, etc. The items are brand name too for a few bucks cheaper. There’s items I typically buy from a major grocery store chain for much more—you can it here for a couple bucks cheaper and you don’t have to deal with a long line. They have Toms, Soap For Everybody, Dr Teals, etc. I’ll definitely come back again.

I love this store. It has a great selection of products and it is a lot cheaper than many of the drugstores I have visited. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They usually have promotions on top of the already low prices. On a side note, a couple of times I saw items on display and then went home to try it out only the come back the next day and the entire display is empty :( (So, if you see something you like on display at a reasonable price, be sure to get it to avoid spending your Saturday morning feverishly looking for the same lipstick and paying almost double the price online).

Ughhh I love this place so much. If Im in the area I make sure to get items from Harmon. They have better prices for products than pharmaceutical stores. Its a great place to get make-up, face masks, soaps, feminine hygienic products, detergent, snacks, etc. I love this place and I want one in the Bronx... Please :-)

Great place, the manager is very helpful ! And sweet (short older skinny women with glasses)However the cashier that rung me up was cold and not courteous at all. (Has clear glasses) first of all she barked “ Step Down!” In a demanding tone, when I was ready to pay. and then she just started scanning. 2nd of all I asked if an item I purchased was discounted because it was less than what the bar tag said which I was very excited about, and instead of answering in a full coherent sentence she barked again: “5.98”. I ask her again and she then responds “mhm”.3rd of all she didn’t even say have a great day or Thankyou or anything at all while handing over my bagged item .Quite frankly she just didn’t care and customer service really does matter. Like what the f. I will definitely avoid her if I go there again. Everyone else including a black Hispanic cashier with straight hair who was wearing black apron, was very friendly .

Beyond drugstore beauty experience. Not many specialty brands for brown girls, but a large selection from the major brands. They always have the latest and greatest... Supplies go fast!

I loved this place and Im loving it more now. I bought a blow dryer 6 months ago and it broke, but I didnt have the receipt. The staff kindly told me that all i needed was the card enought but the card i had was expired, so the manager immediately solved my issue and I got my new dryer... They have a great variety of products, good prices, and excelent staff.

Face values

This is my favorite source for products. They have just about everything and at a much better price than any other drugstore in the city. The staff is also very helpful, they can let you know which products professionals purchase. Usually a line though, so if you can make it at an off time plan to do that.

Great store for hygiene products. It has a variety and good prices. The ambient is clean, organized and light. The best thing is the travel size products.

Good selection of personal hygiene products. I still prefer to shop at Bed Bath & Beyond a few blocks down simply because they have more than just toiletries.

Its sometimes like cable television on a Sunday morning: big with hundreds of channels and lots of redundant content, yet you still cant find something that matters to you. But the sales are nice and I appreciate their return policy.
