Went for the first time to get my brows done and it was great. Super professional, quick, and sanitary. Also your first time is freeee so only $ spent was on tip, so that was yummy.

I usually go to Sugaring NYC but I decided to trying this place out and the experience was super weird. I will be going back to sugaring. I mean it should be common sense I should be entering the room by myself having time to change and then the esthetician would come in and begin the service and also when leaving theesthetician should leave the room as I put back on my clothes and then come in to clean. Not here the lady walked in with me stared me down as I was taking off my clothes and then when I was leaving literally watched me put on my clothes. I was so confused like why are you watching me. Even the doctors office they give you some sort of privacy. Sugaring NYC understands common courtesy and has never done this to me. I was so confused and over all it was a very uncomfortable experience. Then I asked my friend if this happens all the time because she gets waxing here and she said yes she thought all places do this and she’s use to it, well not me. The policies need to change.

So far I like this place. Jennifer is so nice and did a good job doing my brows and arm pits. I haven’t tried any other services yet, but will in the near future. The front desk staff are friendly. Eurowax is a franchise which often times you feel like they run like a factory with their time slots- you may or may not be able to add on services if they’re booked up which kinda sucks so be aware of that.I gave it 4 stars and not 5 because the walls in the rooms look dirty and can use a paint job. When customers are getting waxes, you want them feeling comfortable and dirty walls doesn’t help with comfort.

This is my first negative Google review. My experience at this EWC was too terrible not to share. I prefer to give direct feedback versus blasting something or someone online, but they didn’t make time to call after two attempts to connect with a manager. So, here we are.My wax specialist was Lena. Lena was not warm or even friendly upon greeting me, and the only conversation she made was confirming what services I was getting. Usually, at any other EWC, the technicians are friendly and attempt to make small talk in order to help you feel comfortable and welcome. Lena did not. Even as I was getting undressed, she said nothing. She was instead just standing there, which is quite awkward. I shared with her that I have sensitivity to wax that is too hot and to please be mindful of that. Toward the end of the wax, the temperature was so hot that I winced in a visceral reaction. Instead of apologizing, she scolded me for moving and was frustrated that she had to “unstick” me. In this moment of both pain and vulnerability, I was shocked at her lack of empathy and her lack of ownership in the situation. Other technicians will at least let the wax cool a little before applying if they notice a sensitivity.At the end of the wax, she never apologized or even thanked me for coming in. She also didn’t give any product recommendations. It wasn’t until we got to the door near the front desk where she added a dry “thank you,” which I’m pretty sure she did to check the box in front of the front desk staff.Lena had an energy that felt hateful and contemptuous from the moment we met and my instinct tells me it has something to do with race. After my appointment, I mentioned to the front desk that my experience wasn’t great with Lena. I was offered a product for free which I appreciated. After telling a couple family members about what happened to me, they all suggested that I call the manager to report it. Despite reaching out twice via phone and the customer survey, I never heard anything from Management. It has now been one month since the wax. No outreach from the manager. I would not recommend Lena under any circumstance, especially aa a Black woman.

So I went here about 2 weeks ago and the young lady who did my wax did not do what was supposed to be done. Ive called to talk to a manager she has not yet to get back to me to at least accommodate me in any way. This European wax center experience left me speechless until now.

I went to this location for the first time yesterday hoping to have an excellent service as described, my coworker had went before and said the service she received was great, but when I went for my appointment I had a total different experience. The front desk was wonderful from the moment I stepped in, very friendly and very professional. When it was time to get my brazilian wax the first thing I noticed was the bed sheet was not changed, and the girl was rushing. I was just thinking I hope she changes this bed sheet, then she looks at me so that I can lay down, I asked her if the bed sheet is not gonna be changed, and she answered right away, Im a germophobic its cleaned, is just looks wrinkly in my head Im like well I work in a hospital I know what a used bed sheet looks like, and then she changed the bed sheet and then it looked changed no wrinkle or nothing, she didnt even disinfect the bed. While she was doing my brazilian wax I felt the hard wax very hot, and the left side of my inner thigh was very irritated and painful. The top of my pubic area was red as well. I also asked for an underarm wax and she had the audacity to say that it wasnt included when the front desk girl did added it, I said can you please go ask, then she said that I had to go to the front and ask myself, then she said she couldnt do it because she had another client at 4:30. While she was waxing me she kept looking at the time and Im like wth, I had to put on my clothes again and wait for another person to take care of my underarm removal. The place is not horrible, the only bad experience was the person that did my wax.

My go to place, the wax passes are completely worth the money.

I’ve been to a few EWC over the years but this one is my favorite. My waxer Julie (Julissa) is great! Makes the experience less painful and easy to talk too. Location is always clean and staff is friendly.

Wife comes here every month and never has enough good things to say. They dont make her wait unlike every other establishment in NYC lol! They get her in and out and she likes that.

Anne was incredible. It’s obviously been a long time for all of us due to Covid so quick fixes at home meant a difficult job for her. She was so patient & thorough!

A relaxing experience for sure. Tiffany was so cool and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. She will definitely school you if she finds any concerns on your skin, whether its dryness or clogged pores.

This was my first experience using the franchise. Unfortunately, I found it underwhelming. The location is unbeatable but that is about it. The staff was not very friendly or courteous. They will up charge on everything possible and did a mediocre job at best. Ive went to other salons that go above and beyond as well as take care of additional skin care needs. This salon barely got the hair out. Skin care didnt even come into question. Only the possibility of purchasing additional services was ever offered.The entire experience is so sales driven I couldnt wait to get out of there. Two different employees tried to sell me their products (which were completely unnessary) as well as attempting to sell me on their membership program even declining. If they focused on customer satisfaction Im sure their numbers will follow. With all of the options in NYC I would recommend going elsewhere.

Quick and great customer service! I definitely recommend seeing Alexa because she’s very skilled and she takes her time while still keeping you on schedule. I appreciate that she’s very professional but at the same time personable. I made the mistake of trying a wax center near my apartment and it just doesn’t compare. I’m willing to travel an extra 20 mins to go to this center since I haven’t’ come across a center as good and welcoming like the one at 315 West 57th Street.

I went to this location for the first time yesterday. The waxer put 4 strips at a time and didnt let me breathe in between ripping them off. It was the quickest wax of my life. On top of that, she left a good amount of hair behind. Plus she was SUPER rude. Dont recommend.

Clara is amazing! Not only is she sweet and fun to chat with during a not-so-fun experience, but shes also fast, thorough, and a very skilled waxer. I cannot recommend her enough and am so pleased with my experience. Ill be back!

Love this place and location. So convenient for when I get off work, I can walk a couple blocks. The girls are great!! I usually stick to one specialist, but no complaints with someone new ☺️🙌🏾

Clara started off our appointment by exclaiming i was late (i was exactly on time), and said shed hope to get everything i reserved done, as her schedule mustve been tight. Not only was this one of the more painful waxing experiences ive had, as she was quite aggressive and rushed, but she was not thorough whatsoever, as when i returned home i noticed complete visible patches of hair on my lower arms and lower back. For the most part she was friendly, but the experience and results are simply unacceptable. 100% do not recommend - Romi

I have no basis of comparison to other EWC locations - but this is because Ive been SO HAPPY here I havent bothered to try anywhere else. Even if you dont buy a package, $47 for an extremely thorough and professional Brazilian wax is an excellent price. They are efficient, friendly and do excellent work. Also love that this location is so close to Columbus Circle and trains.

I have been coming to this location for the past 3years or so & I love it! I come to see Anne, she is absolutely the best! Fast, pays attention to details, funny and soo caring! I travel all the way from Riverdale just for her although the EWC Riverdale location is just a few blocks from my house—she is soo worth it!! -aka Patricia

First time at this location and they were able to take me in as a walk in. I had Tiffany as my esthetician and omg WOW. 5 starts for Tiffany is an understatement. Shes super chill and laid back.and doesnt make anything awkward. she engages in conversation. Omg so she is so extremely thorough WOW. Ive been at EWC for almost 5 years (NY & LA) and shes absolutely AMAZING. 100% my permanent person Id go to from now on and definitely why I would ever choose to stay with EWC. Thank you Tiffany- youre amazing!!

Ive been going to EWC since November and the speed and efficiency that they do my Brazilians is what impresses me the most. The women who did it for me were very professional and helpful. Especially telling me when to breathe. Lol I recommend this place to all my friends.

Go to any of there location but the one on 57th. When I got home They had left wax on me that I had to pull ouch, and they missed tons of spots. At this location there prices 3 times higher. I have been going there for the past 1 year and a half and there prices have been raised 3 times. Its took bad horrible waxing and triple the price obviously they havent been to there other locations and following there standards. DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY!

This was my favorite place to go was but not anymore, lately the staff is just a little rude, for example I called today to make an appointment and I was on hold for 6 mins I took the phone away for one second and I guess they pick up and hung up right away and I kept calling and was on hold for the same time 3 times until I finally spoke with someone and they didnt have anything available for the time I wanted she said 5:15 but I told her I was coming out of work at five and I was a stop away that I was gonna be like 10 mins late that maybe 5:25 but she wasnt having it, they wont accommodate the customer at all.Other times is that the water lady is never the same one, is either off or had an emergency or it is busy... I call at 5:30 When they close at 6 and they didnt pick up and is not the first time... they wont answer the phone 30 mins before they close.. I think the staff is just lazy, plus the ladies in the front are not very frjendly... I try the east side location on 86 and they were so nice I might switch to that one.

So disappointing... Simply because by policy of 3 fingers, you can actually leave the place with the equivalent of half an inch of hair still there, so you can finish it at home yourself.

Friendly staff. Almost always I get accommodated with an appt when I need it. Even if one of my waxers isnt available, there are at least 2 others I can trust to go to.

Ive been here a lot of times and always just go with the available specialist, never had a bad experience
