Well, it certainly looks like a pharmacy. Had a sinus infection and had my prescription sent here. I’m currently in between insurances, was prepared to pay out of pocket. Got here around 1:20pm, waited on line for the pharmacy until about 5 minutes later someone came over and said, “The pharmacy is closing. You’ll have to come back at 2pm.” OK. That’s annoying, but I leave and come back at 2. I’m third on line before they open. When my time finally comes, the pharmacist says they got my prescription, but they are backed up and it’s not ready yet. They ask what insurance I have and I say, “None, I’m paying out of pocket.” They tell me that I will get a text when it’s ready. They don’t have an estimate—don’t want to get my hopes up—but some time today. After dinner, around 7pm, I still haven’t received a text from Walgreens saying it’s ready, just an opt-in text from earlier in the day. I walk over and it’s 7:20pm. I wait on line again. When I finally get to the pharmacy, the pharmacist says they don’t have my insurance on file and didn’t fill it. They tell me I can sit on the chair nearby and wait ten minutes for them to fulfill it. And here I am sitting on this chair, writing this review. This Walgreens is nicer than the cvs across the street, but lacks competence. I will be back for run of the mill toilet paper, snacks, and things, but I will never get a prescription filled here again.

Came here to have my son vaccinated. The pharmacist was rude to him he’s just a kid !!!! barely slapped on a band aid and didn’t recommend he wait to make sure he’s okay ! I had to ask if he should !!!! We waited over an hour for our appointment in a crowded area! It’s a joke! Be safe go somewhere else!!!

The drug I bought was of high quality. It has become an effective pain reliever. Plus, the pharmacist was so nice and welcoming. I would like to recommend this place to all my colleagues.

Very convenient and offers a wide variety of household and personal products. You can also get a Co-vid vaccination shot there as well.

Its Walgreens! Sometimes they get it right sometimes they dont but its rarely a catastrophe and for the most part they do their best to get it right or to quickly correct whatever has gone wrong.

I was at 245 1st Ave and I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for sales associate ILEANA. She went out of her way to help me and was most cheerful the whole time. She may my experience so pleasant it carried me the rest of the day. Thank you, Ileana!

Switch to another pharmacy or better yet, capsule! I’m still online. Been here for thirty min.

I have going to this Walgreens since I started working across the street at Beth Israel. The people are friendly and helpful, I have had the pleasure of Ileana assisting me and giving me information on everything from sales and what would best work for me. She takes the timeout to make you feel like a person and not just someone who is just doing her job and getting through the day. Every time I walk through the door I always look for her.

I usually love Walgreens but the level of incompetence at this particular store is absurd... specifically in the pharmacy. I recently moved to this area, so this it’s the closest store to me. Over the last 4-5 times I’ve been here, there is always a long line waiting to pick up prescriptions and the people who work here have literally no sense of urgency when doing anything. Not sure if they need more people to help, or an entirely new team....

Ok I have been going to this wall Greens since I live over in Sty Town and I always had nice staff but during covid 19.. look I understand everyone is very nervous about this but I went to wall greens like 20 min ago and there where no lines and I was probably in there for about 8 min on the phone with my family asking what they wanted me to get and the dark skin woman security said cause of covid 19 if your not gonna buy anything Im gonna have to ask you to leave.. I looked at her and said ok Im out in very upset that a dark skin woman security asked me to leave!!!! Very disappointed ☹️

I sent 6 photos to be printed. 5 wallet size and 1 5X7 I received an email at 4:50pm that they were ready for pick up. At 6:35pm my husband walked in and the staff can not locate these photos he is still in the store at 6:51pm was told they found them and are just cutting the wallet sized photos. This is unacceptable! Why would I be told that the photos are ready if two hours later they are not! Never again!

If I didn’t rely on medication so much, I wouldn’t use this place at all.Medication has never, ever been ready when they said it would. Even when they sent me a text message telling me they are ready for pick-up. I still have to wait for it to be filled.

The store itself is good but the pharmacy is not. I echo the statement about Carla. She is consistently rude and condescending. There is always a line for the pharmacy, even during non-peak hours. They need to hire more staff so they can have more than one window open at a time.

Medium sized store but enough inventory for home and office essentials. Highly traffic store especially during work and business hours. Highly organized and very helpful representatives.

I mean, its Walgreens. But 4 stars for being a very clean, renovated one, with aisles that manage to be less claustrophobic than typical, and a nice cosmetics and skincare section with its own solicitous staffer, and for being well laid out generally.

Poor service and selection as well as high prices

Really rude pharmacy staff. Continuously feel judged due to my RXs- and they implement ridiculous policies above what nys law requires to obtain a rx early due to travel.

Very good experience with the pharmacy manager and many other employees. Carla at the pharmacy is consistently unpleasant and standoffishly unresponsive to any sort of social nicety. Weak link in this team.
