I wish I could give a ZERO star.By far the worst automotive experience Ive ever had. I called ahead to ask if my Mini Cooper could be serviced and was pleasantly surprised when I was told to bring it right in. The person who I was speaking to on the phone seemed welcoming.When I arrived, this same person (THE OWNER) was completely different. He did not even greet me and disregarded my presence as I awkwardly awaited to get his attention. Im assuming my dark brown skin and turban did not fit the status quo of this Upper East Side hole in the wall.He then told me that my double parking was horrible and that I needed to adjust to get closer to the other cars to make way for him to pull other cars out. I did just this.When he maneuvered all of the vehicles there was still one left that was blocking half of the entryway into the shop. He told me to pull my car in, even though there was clearly NO SPACE. I asked him if he could move the car over a bit so that I didnt have to go up onto the sidewalk to enter his shop.His response: You can go get your oil changed someplace else. This is too much work.I then asked for his name before I pulled off and he shoved his hand in the air as a response. Im assuming he thought MY VOICE didnt matter. I know I was speaking to the owner because he told me that much earlier in our short dialogue. I do believe his name is Mike but I could be wrong.Nothing good comes from treating folks poorly and Im sure his shop will see the consequences of this soon enough.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE BUT ESPECIALLY NOT PEOPLE OF COLOR. SPEND YOUR MONEY AT ESTABLISHMENTS THAT RESPECT YOU AND/OR AT LEAST TREAT YOU AS A HUMAN BEING.

These guys have changed my timing belt, water pump, alternator, battery and changed the oil several times over the last three years. I trust them to be honest and timely.

Got registration done in ~20 mins. Called then dropped in, professional and quick.

I was here for my yearly inspection and they were fast and super nice. I will be coming back next year.

These are my neighborhood guys. They’ve always been fair and performed top quality repairs on my aging Lexus. You may not get a cappuccino and a long chat, but you can definitely have a good experience with straight, clear communication.

As a single mom living on the UES with an “oldish” car Matt & his dad have been a godsend! They are always quick to fit me in and explain all my options and give me pricing without any pressure to do the work. Most recently I had failed inspection at another facility due to a changed battery and loss of the cars computer history. They took their time to explain the way the car computer communicates with the main computer to diagnose the cars safety, and how you pass or fail inspection, and the various things I needed to do in order to pass. They patiently checked my car & advised me until I finally passed. They made a very frustrating & difficult situation tolerable. I highly recommend them to anyone that is seeking an honest and fair place to bring their car! 5 Stars*****+

Unfortunately I cannot give this place zero star. Worst attitude in the world. The gentlemen “working” here couldn’t care less about you. NY Motor Vehicle should take this place’s inspection license away. I hope it goes out of the business soon.

Scam artists.. dont bring any type of vehicle here. They sprayed oil on my new shock and told me it was leaking when I went in for an inspection after purchasing the car.. ha ha Wiped it off, never saw oil com from there. Went elsewhere to get an inspection done.

Im amazed Im saying this but these guys are very honest. In all my years this is the first time Ive ever said that about a car mechanic.

Crabbiest bunch of guys ever. I drive all the way to Brooklyn to avoid having to deal with these guys on the phone. Nasty doesnt cover it.
