Excellent service! Went above and beyond the call of duty and not only did the repair but saved me money in the process. Highly competent and friendly staff-a winner all around!
Called up about having my extremely RARE 1967 18 watt Marshall combo serviced and this is the problem about having a know nothing cashier answer the phone. I had very specific questions about their knowledge of vintage amps and if they could something very specific to what I want done. She gave me a very generic answer of blah blah bring it in and well go through it and tell you whats needed..blah blah... very much like nashville amp service who gave zero F^%&s about keeping the amp original or the value lost by recapping the amp.
Very friendly staff. The Technicians are always on the top of their game! Knowledgeable, dependable, and prompt on every level! I highly suggest!
Love this place! Shane is a great guy and his attitude conveys to the rest of the staff. Friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and good prices. I’ve bought 2 guitars and 1 or 2 amps as well as having work done on amps. Always a first rate experience!
They did a fantastic job in the shop on a Marshall Silver Jubilee Combo. Thanks Nick!!
I had warranty service done with British Audio. They do great work and provide excellent customer service.
Staff was outstanding. Knowledgeable and friendly with a great follow up and follow through.
Every one was friendly and knowledgeable and the pricing was reasonable. My sound board was fixed within a couple of weeks.
Great Shop in Nashville for your guitar amp repair
It was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly staff with an enormous amount of guitar info.
I am giving 5 stars because it hurts a business to not but it did feel wrong after seeing all the online photos and they didn’t post the dramatic store changes anywhere
Amazing shop! These guys had my Amp fixed way faster than I could have ever hoped for. The customer service is top notch. They treated me with respect and definitely earned my trust. Thanks guys! I will be shopping here and bringing my gear here for service from now on. Thumbs up to British Audio.
Sent them a couple of emails asking for help, they never replied - scratch that - the person who gave me their email address gave me the wrong one.Once contact was made, these people were more than helpful. My apologies to them for a screw-up that was not their fault (or mine!)
Little to no details on the schematics available for purchase.. No previews... Why?The Super Tramp Twin Schematic is actually the Tramp Schematic from 1994. Do not be misguided by this website.Even if it only costs 1$ you will receive a schematic that certainly can be found by searching online.
Great shop. smaller but well curated inventory and the staff is SUPER helpful and really friendly. I have all my instruments and amps serviced here.
These guys are wonderful. Super friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable when it comes to recording technology. Michael went out of his way to help w/ my project and Im so grateful :)
Had a truly amazing experience at British Audio! Extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly! Quick & easy.
Mike and Shane at British Audio are awesome!!I bought a Marshall SV-20H head and a custom replacementhead shell purple and had everything ready for me, when I showed up!Great purchase and great service from them..Love the tone and looks! Thanks guys!!Billy
Nice Salesman.
Shopping with British Audio has been an amazing experience. Everyone I spoke with was a tremendous help and I will definitely be buying all of my new gear from them in the future. Very knowledgeable and professional people.
I bought a pair of headphones here a couple months ago... These are the best earbuds Ive ever bought because they still work, and they pack a punch! As a dabbler in guitar, I noticed some gorgeous acoustics and asked to play them. The way I phrased it, it was evident I wasnt in the market to buy one, but the understanding employee at the register still allowed me to strum to my liking! Mad respect! Buy your equipment Here.
Super friendly and helpful staff. I ordered a cab from them and it arrived quickly. Will be buying from them again in the future.
Awesome shop! Not big (because they are a repair operation) but they got some quality gear! Also one of the few places to have Chapman Guitars! I love mine. The guys were super friendly and helpful.
Seth the guitar tech, and everyone else was super cool! Will definitely be my go-to guitar shop from now on.
This shop reminds me of when I was a kid learning guitar. A great neighborhood shop you could walk in and just talk about music with everyone in there. Theres always beautiful guitars and loud amps everywhere. And always someone to help you and you want to play that riff. Now they have top-notch repair guys and world-class Guitar checks. If it plays music and It aint working, bring it here. British audio service is one of my favorite shops Ive ever been in anywhere.
Great place to go for good stuff. Very courteous and honest. The best experience I have had in a music store in a long time. I am from out of town but it’s obvious that music community in the area know and trust this shop.
The team at British Audio Service were able to to troubleshoot my amp, contact the manufacturer, perform a modification that not only fixed the issue with my amp but I swear gave it more Ballume (combination of balls and volume), and set my expectations wonderfully. Anytime I have any issues with any of my amps I will bring it to them. I cannot say enough good things about them. Thank you so very much!
The storefront side of this shop is rather small, but they have a great selection of Marshall, Victory and Orange amps. They stock a lot of Vintage branded guitars, and they are one of only a few places stateside that stocks Chapman guitars.Prices on everything seemed competetive, and the shopkeeper was willing to haggle on a used amp that I was purchasing. All the employees i interacted with were great, and overall my experience at British Audio was stellar. I will absolutely be back the next time I visit Nashville.
Thanks to Jordan for providing first class service. Gave me great advice on a Tone Junkie loaded Kemper. This is the best tone I have ever experienced!
Best place in town for repairs on instruments. They also offer instruments for sale. Lots of goat accessories as well. Worth checking out.
Nice place! Lots of gear for the musician! Super friendly staff, just wish it wasnt so far away from me. (56 miles)., but worth the trip.
I brought my Marshall 9200 power amp here to have it modified on one side, converted over to EL34. The guys did a great job consulting with me on the process and tube options. The owner Shane come out and took on the task personally. He called me and hour later when he said he would to give me a diagnostic on the condition of the old beast before he preformed the mod. He was very knowledgeable about everything which gave me confidence that he knew what he was doing. He also pointed out some previous mistakes that had been made with previous work done to the unit. He fix those problems and brought this thing back to life. I picked up the unit that afternoon and let me tell ya, this thing will grind through an engine block. Sounds amazing. The price for parts and labor I though were very reasonable considering what it is. I will take all my gear here in the future. Thanks British Audio
I love these guys. Even in Nashville, its hard to hand your equipment over to anyone-not for lack of experience but attitude. I have been disgruntled with the lack of shops meeting their own expectations which they set and treating you like filth.Shane and the crew are the opposite of this. I left the shop knowing I had left it in good hands. Shane told me two weeks would be the timeline before my amp hit the bench and low and behold-exactly two weeks from the drop date i got a call with the explanation of my amps issues.Shane is all about quality. He dove in and found even more issues that had gone undetected and fixed them to bring the amp back to a dependable state. He has high standards for his work and for builders who get away with selling boutique quality as a disguise for poor wiring and lack of standard.Trust these guys with your equipment. The pricing was incredibly fair and my amp sounds brand new.
I had brought my Vox Super Beatle here to be repaired. It was in a sad state. Nick got it to be the best it has ever been. It sounds just fantastic. I am very pleased.
I had my bass set up about 6 times at another shop and still had issues with intonation, saddle height and fret buzz. Dan took care of the set up and put a sweet bone nut on my American Jazz which made a big difference but was told it still needed a fret dress. Well Thats when Hollywood stepped on the scene and changed the game! Best feel my bass has had in years and was at a great price for all the work Hollywood breathed life back into my Jazz! Thank you again for the outstanding value and service.
They sanded the neck of my buddys guitar to get rid of the gloss finish. It now feels amazing. Very satisfied with the attention to detail.
We had a great experience at British Audio!Dan helped us pick out new tubes. His knowledge was very impressive. We will definitely be going back there next time!
Excellent customer service from these guys. Easy to find and get in touch with. Curren F. has to be one of the finest techs on all the land when it comes to anything with strings on it. He had fixed up numerous things for me over the years at his previous gig in Cool Springs and I was lucky enough to find him again at British Audio. He repaired my friend Franks Gibson Thunderbird 1989 in short order, when he made a trip to Nashville to jam. (see pic) All services completed to perfection!!!
Shane is probably the best customer service provider Ive ever encountered. Just awesome, will be using British Audio for any future guitar purchase.
These guys here have helped me from day one. I lived down the street and Decided to try and learn guitar at 40. Dan, Jordan, and Chris . Explained everything to me. I was a totally new to music. They answered everything from how to choose a guitar down to how to choose a pick. I knew nothing. Now They keep my guitars and amps in top shape. And while I have alot to learn just starting out. Guitar has brought joy to my life I could never have imagined. Check them out you wont be disappointed. Great people. Great musicians. And honest. Thats hard to find these days. Thanks British Audio, For Helping me begin my journey into music. My life will never be the same!
Some of the best repair people Ive ever met. Everyone is very knowledgeable. Thanks for all the help!
My cat hacked up on my Roland Fantom and rendered 3 octaves “dead”. These guys brought it back to life at a very reasonable price in less than 10 days. I’d recommend them to anyone with an equipment issue. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Just a great store!
Shout out to Shane Radtke for helping me (over the phone no less) with my 1999 Gibson GA-15 Goldtone Amp. He called it perfect and I wired in the replacement transformer British Audio sent me. The amp is perfect sounding once again!
Ive had nothing but professional, knowledgeable and caring service from bench to invoice. My old Allen and Heath GL2 is a new machine thanks to Shane and Co.s expertise. Not only did he troubleshoot the problem, he did it lightning fast and then skipped nary a step to fix it permanently.Grateful that British Audio is in Nashville.Jeff Black
Got my amp fixed ahead of schedule, thank you.
They had exactly what I needed, will definitely be coming back!
My Hot Rod Deville 212 sounded like crap. Dan got hold of it and now it sounds so good I understand how long it was sick. Great service and great attitude. Positive all the way.
Theyve taken great care of me on a few different amp repairs. Good clean work and always fair on price.
Best shop ever! Great staff that can do anything gear related and super helpful. A+++
Excellent service. Very knowledgeable staff. They will take good care of you. Worth every penny.
As owners of a recording studio, we love having British Audio Services right down the road. They are always there when we need them for repairs and parts. They do great work and are a pleasure to interact with!
Primarily a service shop, so small showroom. What they lack in volume of products, they make up for in quality. Premium guitars and audio systems.
These guys don’t just fix amps, they have revived beloved pro audio gear, synthesizers and samplers for me. Great dudes, total pros. This is where you go in Nashville to get audio stuff fixed!
Had them fix my Marshall amp. Very professional. The amp just ripped my face off when I got it home. Love it!!!
Quaint, good staff. Dont blink, you will miss it.
Great place to have your amp head serviced.
Nice place; great job, just slow getting done.
This place/these dudes are great. Ive had guitar and bass amps repaired here as well as a bass setup/fretjob and every time they do a killer job. always super professional and appropriately priced. Save yourself some time and money and check em out.
British Audio fixed a Traynor K4 keyboard amp I bought used that had a blown woofer and some noisy tubes. They found and ordered the OEM speaker, upgraded the tubes, cleaned the pots and knobs, tested everything and returned the old parts to me. Prices are fair. Benjamin was great to work with and everything was done as discussed and on time.
Purchased a Marshall Amp knob from them online and they sent the wrong knob. They charged me $21 for one knob (which I needed for a customers amp repair) and even with there rediculas shipping charge they didnt respond to any of my requests to make the sale right.Would never do business with them again *BEWARE*
One of my favorite ever shops!🎸🎶❤
I had a 1968 Fender Princeton Reverb completely restored electronically by British Audio (Daniel Gautreaux) specifically did the repairs. All I can say is OMG X 100....... He did an outstanding job with the repairs and the amp has never sounded so awesome. The staff and owner Shane were so professional and friendly and welcomed me as soon as I came in the store. Highly recommend British Audio for all your amp and guitar needs in Nashville.
Fantastic service, highly recommend!
Helpful guys. Knew what they were talking about.
My 4th experience with these guys. The first 3 have been 5 star ±! Hope this one is too.
Love these guys! The only place I will take my amps. - Bobby C
The staff was great. Let my son play. Def our place.
Knowledgeable staff. Great for amp repair.
Shane really went beyond what he should have to help me. Fan and customer for life.
I called these people got some great advice, they are the best customer service ive experienced, they have my buisness !!!!!!!
Great service. These guys know what theyre talking about. Worth every penny!
Loved the friendliness of the staff, pretty cool little store. I shouldve asked for a discount on the guitar though since it had some buckle rash on the back and a few scuffs.
A great place to get all your stuff fixed and get a new instrument. If they cant fix it, it aint broke.
I took at QSC amp to them to have it repaired and they kept it forever. Called, did not call back, did not call back. Finally got it back and physically it worked but the signal lights do not. Very disappointed since they are one of the only “QSC certified” places in Nashville. I wasn’t going to say anything but then I’m working with another band who had a similar story with a bass guitar that they’re working. Not saying they can’t correct but word travels fast in Nashville.
Great guys! Excellent service at a very fair price...my amp is alive again!
Originally the Rokit monitor I brought in was going to take 2-3 weeks to fix and get back to me even though it was an in-house repair. For a $30 rush fee it was finished in 24 hours.
Full service musical store, staff is very helpful
People in here really know their guitars. The place is extremely pricey
Rare and hard-to-find Trace Elliot parts at awesome prices. Thank you
Every time an artist is recording with me and has an issue with a guitar setup, amp, or needs something ASAP British Audio takes care of them and the session doesnt miss a beat.thanks guys!!!
Good to have an alternative to Guitar Center
Poor customer service. When I first walked in the guy at the counter was tapping on his phone and didnt even look up and mumbled can I help you? so low I had to ask him what he said. Very unfriendly.
Awesome service. Had my Marshall back in days.
Cool place and friendly staff.
Friendly people and very helpful.
