Guitar center at the 100 oaks Mall is fantastic. The one on moores Lane is, well, its like I am invisible... I dont think the staff even though Im in the store. But, again, the one at 100 oaks is always great. Its a bigger store and there are a lot of friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Love going there with the kids... They get to play the drums, they get to play the pianos, and they get to play the guitars... our regular visits to Guitar center is so very helpful in fostering their love for music.
Very rude. Like he was bothered I wanted to play this Gibson that had a big price tag on it He even asked sarcastically if I was looking to buy a Gibson as if I was a peasant to him. This is why they wont get my 5 grand. It will go to a mom and pop shop that deserves my money and time Wont be back either way.
They have a lot of new and used musical everything and lots of staff. Big fun for a musician!
Good service and more than enough items on display/to buy for all your music needs!
Very helpful attendant that helped me to locate the items that I needed very quickly.
Purchased a guitar here and had a great buying experience. Every staff member I came in contact with was super helpful and nice! A great music store!
I really like this place they have everything that you need. My son really likes his place himself hell go here just to practice with the drums. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable as well.
Always a great selection of merch to browse. Knowledgeable staff to help or just discuss options. Always stop by when Im in the area.
I just purchased a Sterling SUB 5 by Music Man from this Guitar Center. This bass was used but in perfect condition when arriving to its new home. Thanks Guitar Center for good quality guitars and great prices!
Great place with wonderful customer service!!! They have a BIG selection to choose from. I would highly recommend this place.
I was looking for a new acoustic guitar and JD hooked me up. Made me feel at home and customer service was top notch. Gave me a good deal with some trade-ins. Nothing but Kudos - highly recommend dealing with him, I’ve bought quite a few guitars from a bunch of different stores and this was probably my best experience.
This place was really cool. They have lots of cool things.
Great professional, friendly and helpful guys. Very quick to answer your questions and point you in the right direction. Very nice, too.
👍 Im going to LEARN to PLAY for MY DADDY who plays by ear.
Great store. Excellent sales staff and lesson instructors.
We moved to Nashville with this company. Everything you need is here! But you already know that dont you?
Horrible customer service. Ive been to other guitar centers and had great experiences but after multiple calls and visits to this one I can say NEVER AGAIN!
They have a huge selection of musical instruments. The staff was very friendly and took the time to hook up a set of electronic drums that I wanted to try out. Max was sure to check back with me as I was leaving to make sure that I did not need anything else, and offered me some more of his knowledge of the electronic drums in order to help me make a decision on which set I should focus on. Very satisfied with my experience.
They are welcoming very rare experience in the US. Sometimes you can tell if someone is just trying to run the hours or they really love ❤ what they do.
Helpful staff with a very warm and inviting atmosphere!!! I had a ball watching the folks practicing on the display keyboards and drumsets
Excellent customer service from Josh for my Martin guitar purchase. Made the purchase of my dream guitar a reality.
Very large store, good keyboard selection.
Guitar center is generally a mess and has a very generic selection. I found this location to be right in line with that considering the drum department.
Huge selection of top tier instruments and music equipment. Very helpful and friendly staff.
The guitar selection is awesome. Great and friendly staff made sure we were taken care of.
Best GC around and Cole was a great help and was quick to jam out with/for my son also. They connect on a personal level or at least make you feel that way. I will be coming here from now on when I am in town. Awesome place
Awesome sales people and knowledgeable as well.
I bought this guitar from guitar center in Nashville back in February.. It was an online purchase. The guitar in the first picture is the guitar I bought but was sent the guitar in picture number 2. You can see these are different guitars. The guitar was listed as being a Fender American Standard but is a cheaper American Professional model but I paid American Standard price. I think this is called bait and switch and false advertising for saying this guitar is a different model than it is. Guitar center has lost my business forever. I just purchased a PRS CE24 from one of their competitors. I got exactly what I paid for with the PRS.
They still have a great selection. Service has fallen. I wandered the bass section for 20 minutes, and no one offered in to help me.
I could hardly believe that I had forgotten so much about visiting the music stores. I took my time walked every wall. I got interested in so many new things, like having my own Sennheiser Mike pocket amplifier. Someone stole my d18 Martin guitar I purchased in the early 60s. Also stole my fender base back in the early 80s. When I looked at the prices of the other things including my hummingbird that I traded in on Congo drum in trumpet I realized I had a gold mine. Now the guitar center over at 100 oaks Im digging again. Never give up.
Best place to shop for instruments! They have amazing customer service instantly greeting you and asking if you need help the second you walk in. They have a great selection of instruments for every skill level musician and they genuinely want to help find what youre looking for. Huge shoutout to Zach for helping us find the best keyboard in our budget(Yamaha P-125),it was also the last one in stock and he hooked us up with a 3-yr warranty for half the price:D. This place had the best customer service in all the stores ive been to and I couldnt be more satisfied!
Staff is always helpful but not pushy.
Its Guitar Center, people hate it, but theyre great. Ive always had a positive experience at anyone Ive gone to
A great music store, and I teach there.
I sat out in the car I never went into the business. So I dont know squat about guitar center.
They have what you need! Nice, knowledgeable staff.
The place is easy to find. I was looking for a moderately priced guitar to practice with. They had a ton of guitars. The store was packed with shoppers. A salesman found me quickly and asked if he could help. I told him what I was looking for and he promptly showed me the $3000 guitar line. When I explained that was not what I considered moderately priced and told him my price range he promptly disappeared. At least he left me alone so I could browse.
Matt was very helpful with my keyboard purchase. He wss knowledgeable and found the model I wanted.
One of the best Guitar Centers out there! Its like playing at an interactive museum here! Very helpful and knowledgeable staff too. What else do you expect in Music City?
I like to go here and look for musical gear but I dislike the small selection of drums and the fact the drums I put on layaway this past Christmas season was sold before I finished paying for them and I was not offered another set with as many drums in it as the one stolen from me, through it being sold to someone else.
I’m an old timer rocker. Came in to buy an amp. Was helped by a young guy named Max. He did everything possible to help me on my way. Ivan is also very good, dealt with him before. KudosCruel Shoes
Josh is top notch!! Super helpful!! Marshall micro guy!! Thanks again!!
Cody was great help! We had lots of questions and he was very patient and gave great advice on finding a first guitar.
Staff very helpful and answered all my questions thanks guys you rock!!!!
Friendly and helpful staff but total price gouging in comparison to any online competition
Awesome staff, super friendly very welcoming, makes sure you love and experience what your buying.
Good place quick service.
Amazing as always! Customer service was exceptional 😊
I worked at Sam Ashley Music store in Melville Long Island New York. I worked in the software department. You have to be knowledgeable about all programs being sold. Ive own my own recording studio since 1985. Ive produced, mastered, and engineered alot of major, independent, and overseas projects. I came in to your store this past weekend to pick the heads of your software department about an apple product that I do know that Gituar Center do not sale, but at one point a couple of years ago, you did sell, and no one was knowledgeable about the product as well as the poor attitude and service. I do know from experience that it can get hectic in sales. I went to your DJ controllers first and was asked if I needed any help which was great, but then said to the sales assistant that I had a question and proceeded to ask about the apple produce. The answer was short and as if he did not want to help me. I went to another sales assistant and Shed the same question and the professionalism in assisting me was even more poor. My company, the company I work for as well as the big name producers from Nashville to New York and LA spend millions of dollars with Gituar Center. I do know your district coordinators in your areas and will not speak about this to them, nor will I mention the names of the sales assistant that brushed me off. Please, talk to your employees and have them trained on customer service ethics as this should never happen again in your Nashville store. Thank you and please continue to have a great day.
Staff was very friendly and helpful answered ever question I had and got me the best deals
Alright store, had a electronic drumset I liked
I had a problem with a speaker order the guys and management handled my problem thanks Im so happy
Always love going there but was out of stock for everything i wanted to buy. lolGlad they saved me that money tho
I went to this location today on 02/27/2021. I was able to find the guitar I’ve been wanting for a long time. It was brand new and over 1000 dollars, but with my military ID I saved over 100 dollars. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of customer service. They have a ton of staff always running in every direction. The guy who sold me my guitar didn’t even include the Allen keys or trem arm. I know it’s cheap stuff but to me it’s principle. If I had of ordered that guitar, I would have gotten those things.
They have good selection for a guitarist or bass player as I am, but I just dont like being watched by staff with that eye like Im being judged to whether I should even try out a guitar or bass guitar, Sam Ash on other hand always welcomes me to try anything out that I want to, never no one rushing to me like a car salesmen do
Bought a new Evh 5150 and in orange ppv 212 for a steal here the service was extremely helpful and the prices were great. I saved at least 400 bucks here !!!!
This Guitar Center is a HUGE benefit to this pet of town!! Located just on the outskirts of Berry Hill in the Thousand Oaks shopping center, this location has you covered.. From hard drives and hardware, to instruments and stage efx rentals, I was impressed by their selection of products. I’ve bought several instruments here, stopped in for strings and batteries, and rented fog machines for video shoots.. Their staff has always been helpful to me and my productions. They’ve offered me discounts to show good character and good faith, and they keep their prices competitive in general.. All in all I’ve been thankful to have Guitar Center as a resource in Nashville. Give them a try and see if they’ve got what you’re looking for..
Worked with me so I could own my dream guitar!! Loved it.
Great selection. Very nice employees. They were helpful but still gave you space to look without pressure.
Spielberg is the best sale executive Ever
Great place. Picked up some nice beginners guitar books.
Ive never seen any workers as lazy as they were no kind of help at all and I still made a purchase
Best music place in Tennessee.
Went there for private soiree before covid offered by bluebird..anyhow its an instrument store well done
Absolutely outstanding customer service. Barrett went far out of his way to correct an issue that wasnt even his fault in the first place, but he wanted to make sure my issue was resolved. Some of the best customer service Ive ever experienced, from everybody in the store!
Absolutely the worst customer service Ive ever seen in a guitar center and I have been to them all across the nation. Do not visit this store period. The customer service was so bad I just closed my GC account.
Prices arent so competitive, but nice location with a good selection, friendly staff and good covid guidelines/enforcement.
Pretty guitars everywhere
Quite interesting with a large selection. One for everyone.
Can you play stairway here?
Nice! Rented a guitar here
The store has a good selection and staff was helpful and not pushy. Everything was a little pricey but it was mostly high end so its to be expected. It is Nashville.
Called today to buy a $4200 guitar and I asked for 7% dicount and I was flat out told they would not at all, not even a penny because this is nashville we will sell it this came from there store manager named Mark. This is after I just spent $2000 at another of there store. I will never deal with then again. No customer service what so ever. Its like who I am going to be able to screw out of the most money today just because we are Nashville . Dont waste you time and money on a stingy store who only give you 60% of your value on your guitar but cant come down 7%. Plus they have the same guitar online brand new for $4600. They forgot that the love for music is why they have a job.
Excellent service.
Zachary was really helpful and made sure we got what we need to update our recording equipment. He even got us a discount on extended coverage on our gear.
I always enjoy visiting! The staff is so helpful and friendly. You can tell they love music and like to share their passion.
Guitar center is a cool place for a corporate music store. Its a good place to pick up strings and used pedals (usually to high priced for used). A great place for a beginner to pick up an inexpensive guitar and amp. They have about everything you could want. The classic guitar room is full of custom shop and nice antique fare. The staff has always been nice.
Overpriced cables cause your in Cashville and need them for your show and all the vocalist need vocal ease because the elevation and the pollen takes weeks to acclimate too. Singers fork out for some LOCAL Nashville Honey and overdose on it with some lemon and whiskey, it may not make you sing or breathe any better. But you wont even worry about it.
Great store full of everything you need!
Guys were very kind and helpful
Its great however I wish you could return instuments
Walked in to buy a $2,000 guitar and got no help at all. Very happy with my new guitar from SAM ASH!
Anything you may want is here!
Its a typical GC. I really like their selection of Charvelles
Didnt have much help on the floor but the dude that checked me out was very cool.
Big, but a bit unfriendly and kinda sad for as many people that come through. Music is about connecting and sharing so why shouldnt all music shops be a haven from the storm... Places of inspiration and positivity. I hope shops go back to worrying less about profit and more about humans.
