Manuel restored the voice of my Santa Cruz F Model acoustic.The guitar had been re-fretted years ago with larger frets and the voice began to change thereafter. Its difficult to describe what about the tone had changed, but everything began to sound flatter, less woody, and the chord intonation lost its accuracy and color.Manuel treated my guitar like a doctor treats a patient. He was diligent and thorough, paying attention to all of the intricacies in the build of the guitar that gave it its voice. He contacted the Santa Cruz company and had them send him the original fret wire.When he called me to pick it up, I played it and almost teared up.The qualities of the tone have been restored.Manuel, thank you for your commitment to excellence. What a privilege to have had Delgado Guitars work on an acoustic guitar of mine. I brought in an Everett guitar in need of a setup, some bridge work repair, and a pickup installed. They accommodated me by squeezing me in so Id have the guitar in time for an out of town show. The setup and repair work were terrific, but the pickup signal level during the show was not what it needed to be. I called the shop to explain the situation, brought the guitar back, and they did not hesitate to look into the issue and make the necessary correction. Excellent experience with Delgado Guitars. I am always hesitant leaving my bass guitars in the hands of others - I made the trek from Louisville to Nashville because I read great things about this company. Manuel was very nice and explained in detail what his plans were on getting rid of some fret buzz I had going on. He leveled/crowned/polished the frets and did a complete setup on both guitars at a reasonable price= NO MORE FRET BUZZ!! Thank you very much Manuel!

I had a $200 guitar ( thats been my baby since the beginning of playing ) fixed and set up here about a year ago. It is still my favorite guitar Ive ever played, the setup they did just made it even better. I was playing it just now and decided I had to come back leave a good review. Hope all is well with yall.

I inherited some instruments from a family elder, and when passing through Nashville decided to have some of them repaired and set up.I got a word of mouth referral from an old friend to go talk with Manuel at his shop.He repaired a 100+ year old Whyte Laydie banjo, and talked me out of spending extra on a new head. He set up two guitars and they play so effortlessly now. A professional musician friend back here in the Seattle area, marveled at the quality of the work done with set ups. Manuel and his cohorts are truly a class act, with all the quality and expertise you would expect of a top-level luthier and guitar shop going back 3 generations. Tyler in the front of house is a master of the customer experience. I wouldnt take my Martins anywhere else! Theyve done a neck reset on each for me (HD-28V and 000-17SM) and the difference was stunning. One of these days Im going to get a Delgado Bass.

Took my guitar in for a tune up - and had some wiring issues and frets needed to be buffet out . was done in 2 days and sounds amazing ! they were super nice and treated me with respect . Us girls needs that in the music world!! Class act all around would recommend !
