I brought in my bass (about 10 years old) to get the pre-amp repaired (fried circuit board). The circuit board was not available to purchase anymore and the pre-amp needed an upgrade anyways. I ended up going with a passive system instead of active which the bass was before. Rodger did an excellent process of keeping me informed the whole way and made a very clean repair. I would highly recommend Modman/Rodger to any musician no matter if you play for fun or play professionally. Very professional. Very Affordable. I will definitely be returning in the future.

He made sure to explain it so that I understood since Im just learning guitar. He was very informative and easy to communicate with. Drove from out of town to get a little Supro bedroom amp, the guy was super helpful and friendly. When I showed up to get it, the guy starts explaining the amps good and bad features, he wasnt trying to up sale me just make sure I knew what I wanted. Highly recommended if you live where there arent any good music stores in your town.

The new location here is absolutely incredible. Been going to mod man for years for all sorts of different stuff including just quick visits and its always one of the coolest shops in town. The new location that they have is absolutely miles beyond better than the previous location. Still same amazing customer service just twice the amount of stock and inventory to check out.

Roger has set up two basses and a tele for me and all three feel like new instruments. Great prices and expert service. If you are needing work done, would absolutely recommend Modman.

Modman is an excellent luthier. Ive taken a couple guitars too him. Hes honest and he tells ya exactly what your guitar may need. He doesnt sacrifice quality and in my experience they sound better and sing when hes done. Hes also a wonderful Christian and a caring man. Wants u meet him and speak with him u will see there isnt a dishonest bone in his body. I always enjoy taking him my gear and watching him play on it. Hes excited about guitars and loves what he does. I promise you you wont take your guitar anywhere else after going here.

Excellent work. Was sick of the poorly done rush jobs that seem to be pervasive with set up work around Nashville. So glad I found mod man! Found an obvious issue that no one else had mentioned previously that was frustrating me quite a bit. Answered a lot of questions for me.

Roger is the man! He’s done all the work on my guitars for over a year now and it’s always outstanding. Super fair prices and always fast work! About a year ago I took my 335 to a “very reputable and well known” shop to get a new wiring harness installed, where it sat untouched for 3 weeks! I took the the guitar back and brought it to Roger, who got it done in 2 days and charged half of what the other place was going to charge! I’ll never go to anyone else again! This place is awesome. Roger was super helpful and provided alot of insight into things about my guitar I had never thought of. He did a great setup on it and took the time to talk beforehand and understand my needs as a player. When I got my guitar back it felt and sounded great. Roger installed a gibson vibrola on my gibson explorer. He did a fantastic job and went above and beyond by taking measurements from an authentic SG with a vibrola on it. I drove three hours to have him do it after dealing with other luthiers I wasnt confident in. He did it in a timely manner and has a great shop. Thanks Roger!

Roger is the man! As a bassplayer I wasnt totally sure walking into predominantly guitar shop. However Roger wrlcomed me and my six string bass and he has done an amazing job. Cant recommend highly enough.

Roger Dugger is a gifted and conscientious luthier. He is so good at what he does that I have had him work on all of my instruments. Ive never seen anyone do such a good job setting up guitars, and his modifications and enhancements have also been stellar. Roger also sells guitars and amps in his shop, and he sold me a truly remarkable used Gibson Les Paul with special pickups and vintage electronics for a great price. Roger is the best luthier I have ever worked with and also an exceptionally kind and modest man. I cant say enough good things about him.

I have two old guitars, a Framus, that my daddy gave me in 1974, and an Ovation, that Ive had for over 25 years. The Framus needed a new bridge and a good clean up and set up and I took it too Roger at Modman Guitar. He restored this guitar so that I could pass it on to my own son. I dont think this guitar ever sounded this good in the past. Roger does amazing work.When I picked up the Framus I took him my Ovation to be restrung. I could no longer play it and I wasnt sure why it was so hard to cord. Roger has restored my Ovation also so I can play it and play it and I am so thankful to have found him.
