Really cute place to check out. Have been coming here for years, and love it. Everything is a bit pricey, but well worth it. If anything, a cool place to drop by. Really cool seeing a refurbished VW bus chilling in a shop. And a really, really cool guitar room that gives me chills. Staff if very friendly and sweet. Nice little shop in Nashville.

For a shop called Two Old Hippies, these old hippies seem to have forgotten that hippies are often broke. The shop is lovely and the prices for their goods are reasonable for what theyre selling. A lot of hand-crafted clothing and art and jewelry. I just imagine a hippie shop being more accessible to jobless wanderers ;)

This is where rich people go to buy something that looks like its vintage or unique, but really they just spent $168 on a flannel shirt. They have everything though, from guitars to womens shoes, from mens clothing to handbags, books and tea with giggle inducing labels. And of course, a stage and concert area because Nashville.

Excellent store with a variety of amazing products. Definitely worth a stop to see what is there. Perfect birthday presents could easily be found for anyone there. Would definitely visit again!

Cool place. Trendy music, bar tending stuff, and jewelery. They have some touristy stuff too. Live music in the back was a nice touch.

This shop has a great look and feel, and offers items you can buy for that person in your life that has a great sense of humor.

Very nice people. They will even ship your items if you buy too much and can’t get it all back home with you. Great shopping spot.

Loved the store ..and having live music was icing on the cake. It is truly a unique store. The kind you have to see if you like boho hippie jewelry, clothes accessories ect. I would go back in a sec. The only draw back is the prices.i saw a bracelet, which I have seen for 100dollars their price 498. Dont let that scare you its a great shop! A must see!!!

Went shopping yesterday after being cooped in for so long. I love this store and I knew it would be very clean and people masked so very covid safe.I was warmly greeted by the team and felt comfortable to browse. Prices were reasonable and especially when I happened on the most beautiful turquoise velvet fringed shawl in the sale section. As the young man said it was happy it found a new home which I loved. He was awesome.I also found 2 mens shirts on sale all 3 items were great finds.The music,art and treasures there made it so much fun to shop. There is a parking lot behind it and meter street parking nearby.Peace & love!

Its a cool store, but I was being followed and watched every step I took. Dont like being profiled because of the clothes Im wearing. my 11 year old daughter ask me why was the lady following us. Its really sad that people still do that. Just because someones not all dressed up doesnt mean they dont have money.

Two Old Hippies is a MUST STOP when in Nashville! This store is full of fashion, nostalgia, guitars, quirky collectibles, and really fun(ny) goodies that make great gifts. I love their wide selection, they really have something for everyone. I’m so obsessed with my “Retro Brand” tee I bought a few months ago, I just bought another one over the phone (and a few other things 😉). Thanks to the fun people who work there to create an ambiance, I can’t wait to come back and shop again.

Yes, they have some expensive items, but this is a really cute store things including candles, jewelry, clothing, guitars and supplies, paper products, and random knick knacks. There are plenty of options for those of us who are more budget conscious! The employees checking me out had a full conversation with me and recommended some places to visit. I really enjoyed the shop!

Very cool shop to visit. Various merchandise in the theme of vintage, retro, gag gifts and also ukuleles and guitars. The layout is very well thought out and product displays look fresh. Theres 1 hour free parking nearby on 11th & Laurel St.

Great atmosphere even for somewhere that is just a store. Its expensive for clothes and other items but the quality is very good! The guitar room is very impressive and the VW Camper photo op is not to be missed....it claims to be the most photographed camper in the world...Id agree with that!

5 stars even though this isnt my kind of store. If you are a skinny hipster, this place is it. If you are a fat old guy, not so much. But staff was helpful and its fun to look at the cool stuff.

Great place for high-quality threads, guitars, and a great variety of similar quality items. Not cheap by any means, but just like anything in life, you get what you pay for. We will be back, again and again.

Best place Ive gone to in Nashville. Ive never experienced so much hospitality. My friends and I were just chilling in the lounge, I picked up a dobro and one dude ran me in a tuner. Love these guys.

Only browsed, but loved the style of this place - way too pricey however, for me. If youve got the coin, or just want to walk around and window-shop, check it out. I was in Nashville for a video shoot, still in need of a few unique pieces. Well, one shopping trip in Two Old Hippies, and Im ready to hit it for the next big events. I loved the selection of clothing, boots and jewelry. I found the prices to be comparable to other boutiques that carry the same labels, but the selection was so much better. Ill be back for sure. Nice work, ladies!!!

Have been there three times. I have bought socks, book, and other trinkets . I decided I was interested in a guitar that day. The guitars are reasonable priced and I heard they are pretty good. You thought I was going into the old Fort Knox to rob it. Signs up employee assistance only and people stare like how dare you, who are you. I go to Gruhn, Carter, I pick up guitars 10 to 20 times more than their price. I guess that is the difference in a guitar store rather than a store that just adds guitars.The people out on the floor were very friendly and helpful. I guess that is why I bought the items I did.

Update 1-20- i have changed from one star to three - the management sent my a hand written letter apologizing for what happened. I am happy there are people that care in this world. This still does not excuse the that this happened.The store is neat, this said - my wife was accused of stealing a bracelet by a very pretentious young man. She went to check out some items, she showed the cashier the bracelet she had received for Christmas showing her appreciation for carrying the same product line. The cashier asked if she was sure she didnt steal it. We promptly returned the item we bought. Again, the store is nice but the staff could use some work. Will not be back.

The staff made me feel like I was bothering them. Otherwise we found Nashville very friendly. Loved the clothing line Johnny Was. Pricey but quality warranted the price. I would rather spend the money somewhere it’s appreciated.

We absolutely love this place. We are regulars. This is a great place for finding clothes and gifts that not everyone will be seen wearing or have at their homes. Definitely worth checking out!

I have always considered myself a New Age Hippie, or a Millennial Hippie, so when I seen this store I knew just from the name that it would be right up my alley. And after my first visit, it confirmed what I already assumed.✌❤🙂🌼🍄🌌🎶🎸☮☯️♾This store has the neatest things...things you just dont find anywhere else. Its a bit on the pricey side but the quality of their merchandise (clothing/shoes/boots) speaks for itself....you get what you pay for!! And if you ask me, I will definitely pay more for anything if the quality/craftsmanship is there! My first time shopping there, I was with my kids and didnt have much time to try on clothes or shoes, so I mainly purchased trinkets, flotsam & jetsam (I attached a photo of my first purchases!)

I love this store. And the merchandise is top notch! If you’re in Nashville get your pic taken by the angel wings like a tourist, then stop in here and shop like a local.

Theyre pretty proud of their stuff. Nice atmosphere. Not much else. They have a basic selection of Nashville souvenirs/memorabilia but then couture rock star clothes. Just go browse and lmk how it works out for ya! cool little place if you dig spending crazy money!

I love the clothing in this store. So many unique pieces but the service was horrible. I walked in and no one greeted me. I was in the store for a while and several employees walked right by me and spoke to other customers. I was the only African American person in the store and I guess they didnt think I would purchase anything. I left and went to dinner and came back because there was this amazing purple leather coat. I purchased it anyway because I figure how often do you see a purple leather coat. When I approached the register the employee said he saw me earlier, which makes me wonder why no one spoke. I wish Id never gone in the store because they actually do have great items. I will not patronize the store anymore. I hope it was just an off day and they dont treat African Americans or any other minority in that manner regularly.

Very nice setup and friendly staff (hence the two stars) but the business model is flawed. 50% off sale would still be too expensive for most of the items. It is good for visit and a laugh though 😂

I really can’t say enough good things about this store! I visit every chance I get because I love the incredible selection of guitars and clothing. They have a lot of things that are unique and extremely cool. They also have a discount program that you can sign up for which helps if you decide to buy something expensive. Parking is a breeze unless it’s a super crowded weekend but still it’s not that bad. I love this place!

Expensive but cute shop. Has an excellent VW van as an FYI. Some more unusual. Items in this shop and has a small but good collection of instruments for sale. Mai my guitars but some excellent ukulele and mandolin examples were also there. The staff are wonderful.

Fun, alternative clothing store that definitely brings back the old days. Theyve got a VW bus parked inside which was something you dont see every day. Quality clothes, but theyre expensive. Theyve got tons of jewelry/coffee table books/artwork/and other small gifts. I havent been for the live music, but theyve a stage in back. Tourist or not, this is a cool place to shop.

Beautiful selection, but super pricey. Fell in love with a lacey tank top, until I saw the $198 price tag, and a pretty sun dress marked $345. If you have deep pockets and good taste, youll love it.

An eclectic shopping destination in the Gulch. While these hippies do have expensive taste you can sometimes find a discounted gem if you dig through the racks. The store has mens and womens clothes. Items will usually start at 25 to 30 dollars for some T-shirts to several hundred dollars for jackets. These are great for photos though. A suede cow skin jacket for 900 dollars probably isnt the best purchase but will make an excellent Instagram post.You can also find interesting books great for your coffee table, some leather and Crystal jewelery, various musical instruments, and even a kids section.The store is laid out well with chairs and benches to take a short rest in the air conditioning. While the employees usually stay near the counter they are very helpful if you ask.Overall its a great place to drop in look for an unusual souvenir and take a break between your brunch and dinner plans.

Extraordinary service! My friends and I stopped in while in town for business and loved the funky atmosphere and eclectic selection of merchandise. I spotted a bag that I fell in love with but couldn’t convince myself to make the splurge. Once home, my husband convinced me to get it, so I checked their website but couldn’t find the bag.Today I called the store and was assisted by Blair. I described the bag and she offered to take pics and text them to me. She sent pics of several different bags and their prices. She then checked sales records to see if possibly the bag had been sold. When that didn’t pan out, she took a video of the entire selection of handbags and sent it to me!I spotted the bag and sent a screenshot back to Blair with the item circled and she sent two closeup pics to make sure we had the correct item. I was able to purchase the bag over the phone and my receipt was promptly emailed to me.This is a true example of going above and beyond the call of duty, folks! I will return whenever I’m back in Nashville, and I will be sure to recommend this place to my friends and colleagues!Thank you to Blair for your extraordinary service!!

Its expensive here but if you want to drop some cash you will find a unique boutique that has quite the eclectic mix of modern and vintage looking cloths for men and women. The store also has plenty of accessories to go along with the outfit you select.If you want to look chic and in style this place can certainly meet that expectation.

Its more of a tourist trap than a guitar store. Sure, the items in the store are fun, but everything is way overpriced for what youre buying and in most cases the items are marked way up. Its a boutique type atmosphere, but you can see the strings of the big business puppeteers. When you have more books, clothing, jewelry, and hats than you have guitars...you aint no guitar shop.

Its not the most inexpensive option for clothes, but the quality of the items is very good. Great cuts, style, and material. The staff is also quite friendly.
