They are the Best ! I have been taking my BMW there for several years. They have always been fair and honest with me. I totally trust these guys to tell me what I need and don’t need.
I’ve used their services for years for my Mini Cooper. They are friendly and efficient. I highly recommend them.
Great shop. Knowledgeable staff. High quality work. Excellent customer service. Highly reccomend!
I have been taking vehicles to Kansas City Autosport since 1993 and have always experienced them as honest, friendly, and knowledgeable.
I know that I can come here for an honest opinion on maintenance and how to take care of my car.
Great quality work done on multiple BMWs I have owned! Even better people to work with.
I have trusted the guys at Kansas City AutoSport with my cars for years and always been completely satisfied. They are honest and trustworthy.
Made the switch from the nearby Mini dealer last year and could not be happier. Honest, dependable and gets the work done when they said they would. Glad I made the move!
Great mechanics, great customer service, and most importantly Tyler and the crew there are honest and polite! Always a great experience when I take my cars into them!
Only been here for one oil change and tire rotation on our Mini. Its just come off warranty so I was looking for a good shop. I do most of the service on my Audi, but Mini doesnt make the service schedule stuff very easily obtainable. One of their folks spent quite a bit of time with me on the phone, answering all my questions. We were in and out on schedule and on price. The shop is clean and they seem to pay attention to detail. Ill be taking the Mini back.
Dan is very knowledgeable and a great person to deal with.
Amazing shop to bring your car I have had 3 BMWs and a Audi and they have always went here to get worked on. They don’t try to rip you off like the guys down the street who wear lab coats to work on German cars. This is the only shop I will take my car to.
Fantastic place to take your car!
Hello my name is Josh, I bought my first BMW 2005 545i, I have never owned a a BMW, I made a few calls to have the car looked at and was referred to Kansas City AutoSport, I called them and told them the problems, they said bring it right over and I did, when I pulled up two kind gentlemen came outside to look at the car, and they helped me on the spot, I had alot of questions about it and they answered all my questions! KCA will always have my business no matter what car Im driving! I have never been treated that well before, Im lucky I found these guys!!!
This is the only place I take my Volvo anymore. I’ve tried a couple of other mechanics but they’re always more expensive and less qualified than KC Autosports. I’ve found them to be honest and reasonably in their pricing. Great guys - I recommend them to everyone I know with a Volvo or BMW.
Kansas City Autosport is my go-to place for my Volvo. They are very knowledgeable and the staff is very friendly. I trust them with my Volvo with any type of work especially complex ones. The most recent work was replacing cam seals, timing belt and PCV system. I wouldnt have been comfortable going anywhere else for this kind of repair. They also stand behind their work. I highly recommend these guys.
Probably a 5 star shop for oil and air filter changes. Not anything technical. Brought my car in to program a fuel pump module. EKPS. Said it was done but car was still crank no start. Most expensive overnight parking ever. $266. Next shop had it running in 30 minutes.
These guys go above and beyond. Since my wife and I have moved we no longer use KC Autosport for our Volvo cars. But needing a particular tool to replace my fuel pump I called on a whim last week and whoever it was that answered the phone went way out of his way to give me not only where the best place in town to look would be, but also the specific tool and model number I’d want to be looking for. He totally didn’t have to do that, but took the time. I found the part and it was a total win. Saved the day. The recent phone call is simply a reflection of the quality of guys here. We used them for 2 years prior to moving and never had a problem and always thought they were fair. Most importantly, they completed the work on time and correctly the first time every time. Thanks again for the help!
Thorough, professional and courteous technicians. I highly recommend Kansas City AutoSport!
You guys are lifesavers! After a dealership quoted $1400-$2500 (like who has that kind of money just laying around) we had it towed to you. You repaired what needed to be repaired. No upselling. And it was LITERALLY 1/2 of the low end of the dealership! You have our business for life!
They fixed it! This was the third shop I took my car to. The first two shops couldnt figure out the problem. They figured it out and fixed two other issues. The bill was more than reasonable. Im really happy to have my car fixed.
Great friendly service. Honest. High integrity.
Oil change was quick and easy and super fast. I will be back
Professional and reasonably priced. They know what they are doing. Women, you can trust that they will only charge you for necessary repairs.
A co-worker recommended this shop for my Mini Cooper. The first visit was fine but the next visit they tried to screw me on engine parts. I will use them again but price your parts before you agree to their prices. Labor cost is average and staff is professional.
Good people. Fast turn around on my wifes mini. High pressure fuel pump went out just after warranty, they had it in stock and fixed it right away the same day. Price was good. I felt like I got good value. I had just received the price from Baron to fix it without warranty. What I liked the most was the feel of the place. Even though its not a fancy high end dealership type of garage they have the feel.Example: You actually drive in the service bay just like at a dealership. If the doors down they see you pull up, they open it and in you drive. A service counter is on your left and so starts the process. To me thats a pretty good touch. Its got that dealership garage professionalism without the high overhead and therefore high price.I would recommend.
I sought out a second opinion, one that would be more familiar with my Volvo; and the reviews were right. Their service is tremendous, the technicians are friendly; and speak clearly and intelligently. Theyre true auto enthusiasts - you know, the kind that actually want to troubleshoot and fix your vehicle, not sell you on another part. I imagine they will keep my repairs to a minimum, I otherwise intend to have some modification done by KC AutoSport. Their work is near perfection, and their shop is always clean. Bravo - truly
These guys are the best! Honest & reasonably priced. I wont take my old Volvo anywhere else
I hit a curb damaging the front right side of my car.The car needed suspension work and two replacement wheels. One was ordered but came damaged. The second wheel came in but was the incorrect wheel. Now we had 2 wheels that could not be used. After talking with the shop I decided to buy 4 new aftermarket wheels.FedEx gave me a delivery date and I waited.A few days after the package said it was delivered I called the shop and asked if they fit the car OK.The shop said they did not receive the wheels. After a over a week of calling FedEx and the shop trying to figure out where the wheels went FedEx finally said “I guess we lost them, fill out form for credit”.I called the shop one more time to tell them I filled out all the forms and FedEx will be issuing me a credit. The shop said “Oh, the wheels came in last week! The shop knew I was having issues with FedEx,but when the wheels did arrive they never bothered to let me know.I spent hours on the phone and emailing with FedEx,Wheel Company and shop to later find out the shop already had them for several days.Over 2 months later I had the car back. The skid plate was missing and I could see transmission fluid on the underside of the engine. Was this because they compromised the seal when installing the axel or they did not clean up their mess? Two screws that hold on the front bumper were not even hand tight and extremely loose. The front right quarter panel was also very loose because two bolts were not even hand tight. The hood had to be slammed closed. It seems the shop adjusted one of the bump stops on the hood. Not sure why. Maybe when they were adjusting the quarter panel to body lines lined up.I adjusted it correctly. The fender liner that was replaced had a plastic support that was glued in one spot and completely split/broken in another. The fender liner was also missing a screw.Between the broken glued support and missing screw it was not attached to the car very well and I can’t imagine how much it was flapping around in the wind or when it might fly off while driving. This car has a headlight level sensor that is bolted onto the A-arm.The A-arm the shop sourced did not have a threaded spot for this sensor (incorrect part) so they tacked welded it on with one tack weld. They had to grind the paint off the A-arm to weld sensor on.No paint was sprayed on to prevent corrosion. Basically a single rusty tack weld is holding a sensor on a moving part.I also noticed the headlights where pointed all the way down.I emailed the shop with pictures of all the above items with explicit instructions on how I would like the items fixed. Including calibrating the headlights correctly. They called me back and said please bring the car back and we will be happy to fix the issues. They explained the car never had a skid plate. We will assume it was broken off at the accident and the shop did not lose it while working on the car for over 2 months.?Either way they did attempt to install a skid plate onto the car. They also attempted to calibrate the headlights, or at least their idea of calibration. The car came back with a missing screw in another part of the fender lining. Not sure if they removed the screw from one part of the fender lining to use to screw the skid plate on or if screws are just falling off the car due to poor workmanship. The headlight sensor on the A-arm was not addressed. The part of the fender support that had glue and was partially broken was just removed. So no more extra fender support for me to complain about, wow.I received the car back with the headlights pointed as high up as possible. They used the mechanical adjuster screws instead of calibrating the headlights as asked.I called the shop back and explained that the sensor needs calibrating.I specifically said “is this something your shop can do as VIDA software is needed”.They said they would have to check.I never heard from them.Volvo dealer calibrated headlights without guarantee since sensor was not bolted down correctly.
Look no further. This is your shop.It is a game-changer finding a shop I can trust. These guys know their stuff and are enthusiasts themselves. Frankly, I probably wouldnt own a used German car if this shop wasn’t in town. Im so happy they are.Honest. Straight-forward. Good people.
Great place, run by great people!
Extremely happy with these guys! Friendly staff and goes the extra mile to ensure that my car is taken care of properly. I wouldnt go anywhere else!
Ive been using KC Autosport for just a little over 3 years now since I moved to KC. They were recommended by a friend who has lived in the area for quite a while and had nothing but great things to say about them. The quality of service, level of expertise and professionalism is incredible. They are very accommodating and are extremely transparent every time Im in there. Something far and few between when talking about auto repair shops! Dan and Tyler have called to follow up on repairs that were done multiple times and thats just one small thing that goes to show how much they really do value their customers. If it werent for them I probably would have had to buy a new car a long time ago. Thank you for taking such good care of me! You guys rock!
We started taking our cars here more than 15 years ago on the recommendation of a friend. Weve continued to rely on them to service a number of different cars weve owned. They have always been able to do both routine maintenance as well as diagnose issues to keep our cars running well. Above all, they are honest and treat our cars as if they were their own.
Excellent people doing a terrific business for their customers! From evaluating the problem to using their knowledgeable technicians, your prized car is treated as though it is their property. I have been very pleased and would recommend their services to anyone who enjoys driving.
Love this place! Great and friendly staff, plus they have a certified BMW technician on staff, Paul McKracken, so ask for him if you have a BMW. Taking my car there is great cause he knows what hes doing and he does great work. Twice already he fixed something that was misdiagnosed by another shop and once even by the official dealership.
A+ work. they love bmws just like I do! I think they will mostly work on anything
I called and asked about having the oil separator system replaced and the guy quoted me over $1000.00 dollars!Holy Crap Batman! That is $200.00 dollars for parts and $800.00 in labor!Fortunately I called a different place and got it for practically half that.I gave it a two stars instead of a one stars because I never actually did business with them... But this is simple job I would of done if I had the time, $800 is an astronomical amount to exact for this procedure.Granted I have never actually done this before so it would of taken me longer than a tech, and I would have to buy tools.....blah.So Im not messing with it.
What a pleasant surprise! An honest, family owned business that goes the extra mile. I purchased a vehicle (out of state) from KCA through eBay sight unseen, with no PPI. Tim and Tyler were patient, professional, and promptly addressed all of my concerns. Tim assured me that the vehicle was mechanically sound and provided a courtesy service to ensure it would be ready for us to enjoy once it arrived. Tyler made the financial transaction a breeze despite a few minor hiccups (caused by our banks) along the way. The vehicle arrived in better condition than expected and my wife and I couldnt be happier with the experience.
Had my timing belt and water pump replaced here. Cheaper than the dealer even with a $100 off coupon. Got a call saying I had to replace a motor mount... was skeptical but allowed it. When I went to pick my car up I was told there was a recall that had to do with an oil leak. Was told they used to do them all the time for $300 until the recall. That was my reason to believe the motor mount needed replacing because I would have been none the wiser on the recall. Plus they have great reviews, thats why I went there and was certainly satisfied. Now I have a Volvo mechanic I can trust. No B.S...Professional
Thank you to Dan and KC Autosport for separating an axle from a hub and refinishing a knuckle for me!
Professional service at its best! Very knowledgeable and professional staff!I currently own two BMWs, and Kansas City AutoSport is the only shop I trust...
Always have had a good experience with KC Autosport. Everything from routine repairs to custom work has been done to my satisfaction.
Terrific service for my BMWs. Easy in/out. Loaners available. High quality service. Definitely recommend.
All good for 30+ years now on about every type of old sportscar I have ever taken to them for help. Tim, Tyler & all the guys there are very talented & committed to professional service.
Good service without dealer pricing
We have depended on Kansas City Autosport Inc to service our BMWs for many years. Without a doubt, Tim and Tyler have given us excellent care. We could not be more pleased!
After going to the KC Premier Volvo dealership for the past few repairs, I ran out of patience for their untrustworthy reps. I truly distrusted them when played dumb about a well-known Volvo issue, leaky sunroof (something that may have cost me the entire electrical system). While they were always quick on service, I paid exorbitant amounts and couldnt tell if they had caught everything or were being honest when saying X needed replacement.A search online showed KC Autosport and their great reviews, so I thought Id give it a shot. I worked with Nick and Tyler and they are going to be the main reason why I hang onto my Volvo after my experiences thus far and the limited availability of experienced Volvo mechanics. They were genuine and honest about some of the problems- letting me know what needed attention immediately and what could wait. They drove me home from the shop personally and finished the job within a few hours. I called the dealer for a service quote to compare-- the price at KC Autosport was half. I will definitely be returning to them for as long as I can. A very happy customer.Update: Three years later and they still offer phenomenal customer service. Ive since moved from the area so it can be a challenge to group my services. They are flexible and make it work with my schedule while Im in town. KC Autosport really does go above and beyond. I recommend them to everyone I know.
Great service. Thanks, Jesús!
I take my MINI nowhere else for maintenance or repair. A bad dealership experience led me to try Kansas City Autosport, and Im so glad! They provide a loaner car, too. Great service!
Traveling all over the country for work means dealing with many different service providers. The number one thing I look for, even above low cost, is honesty. From day one this shop has been just that and then some. Putting over a hundred thousand miles a year on a vehicle I get to know how my mechanic works. They treat everyone identically. The post-repair car wash, no BS invoice breakdowns, complimentary minor repairs, adjustments and diagnostics: everything is done with service in mind.Businesses dont get my vote usually, but these guys are so good they made me remember my gmail password just to write this.Save money, lose some anxiety and see the capable folks at KC Autosport.
Great and friendly service, very competitive prices
Have been working with Tyler since 2011, my 3, 5 and 7 series beamers. Great experience, reasonable rate and good diagnostics.
Based on all their positive reviews at various sites online, I decided to take my newly purchased 06 XC90 here for them to look over and to pull codes for a Check Engine Light that was on. They claimed the CEL code showed a charging system error and sold me an alternator replacement for $900, along with some other maintenance stuff totaling $2,100. The CEL came back a few hours after I picked it up. They are closed Fri-Sun so I got my own scanner over the weekend and pulled the code and it was a P0304 Cyl 4 misfire code that when I brought it back to them the second time, they found it was ultimately from low compression in the 4th cylinder. So there is no way this code would not have come up when I first brought it in. Had they diagnosed it properly and simply been HONEST about it the first time, it would have saved me nearly $1K on the alternator plus the time spent having to take it back in to them for the same issue twice. Its getting harder and harder to find an honest mechanic shop to work on your vehicle these days that wont try to lie to you and up-sell you on stuff you dont actually need to pad their own pockets, and my experience here tells me I will have to keep looking.
Good business, good people, great service and reasonable price compared to BMW Dealer, they just did some work in my BMW m# and i could be happier.
Always fast, honest and fair. True car people, not just parts changers.
This place is expensive. Youd be Better off buying the parts online and getting it fixed elsewhere; $500 for a fuel pump that sells for around $120 online. They also stole a car part out of my trunk that cost me $60 and claimed they would never do that. Just a bunch of thieves looking for money.
Great service, friendly employees, fantastic work!
Came claiming I had X problem they said could not find that but they said you you have X and Y problem(they fixed the problem I did not know I had and in process fixed the problems I though tI had).
$250 to replace a battery and installed? $52 for labor? you tell me, seem worth it?
Inspected my oil leak on my BMW, told me what I needed to replace changed my diff oil and washed my car for free. I will be using these guys for anything now.
Always helpful!!!
Do they speak spanish here ????
