Went to go buy a car. One of the guys came out, said hey how about I just fix up the one you already own? Told him my estimate from other shops, he said he could do it for about half the price I was quoted. He took down my name and number, said hed call me with quotes.Never called back.So I called a month later, told them who I talked to, gave my name and just a minor problem I needed fixed. They said they would get back to me.Never. Did.Called one last time.Same thing.So yeah, Im sure they have a lovely client base- they just treat you like nothing if you are a new client.I dont recommend them. Obviously.

Curtis has earned the right to call himself a doctor! My Beetle was basically dead and he brought her back to life! Without it costing me more than I could handle.All of the guys are friendly and I enjoy taking my car back there every time she needs work or checkups. Curtis is the only guy I trust my car with and I am so proud to say I have a Mechanic that will be honest and upfront about the issues with the car and that I do not have to run all over town looking for someone because if he cannot do it he will help me find someone who can! My experience with these folks has been fantastic. I bought a car from them out of state, and both Curtis and Kirk have been great in answering any questions/ concerns I may have had. Their prices and service have been outstanding. The vehicle I had purchased looked and ran just as described in their ad. Curtis picked me up from the airport when I flew in and had everything ready for me. If I am ever in the market again for a vehicle that is of interest to me I will definitely not hesitate to give them a call. This is the most honest mechanic you will ever find. I used to get nickle and dimed every time our cars had an issue, but after we found Auto Doctor KC, weve never felt ripped off. In fact, we trust this mechanic so much weve bought two cars from them and they run great. I recommend them to everyone I can. They wont let you down!

My Honda CR-V had an a/c failure and a family member recommended Auto Doctor. I had a very positive experience; car was brought to them on Monday, I had a quote on parts and labor by Tuesday morning, the work was completed Tuesday afternoon. When quoted the repair I was advised that if all the parts werent needed the price would be lower; as it turned out all that was needed was a new compressor plus drain, dispose of old and re-fill with new freon, which saved me $250 off the original quote. Yay! Not only will I be back, Ill be recommending them as highly as they were recommended to me!

I bought a Volvo from Auto Dr, 5 months ago which I loved and had no problems with it until last week when it wouldnt start. The warranty had expired but I called them to have them repair it because they seemed like honest mechanics and after having them tow it there they called me 2 days later to tell me it was done and there was no charge! I couldnt of been happier! Very nice group of guys and gals, glad they took care of it out of warranty even though I wasnt expecting it.

These guys are amazing. My wife and I bought a car from Kirk for our teen daughter 15 months ago and he has felt like family since. Been back for minor issues and basic maintenance and they have been great every time. They do not pad costs and are significantly less than major dealerships or even chain repair shops. They even offer a labor discount on the purchased vehicle as long as you own it.I have now started to use them for my other vehicles as well. My only hope is that Kirk doesnt get tired of us. He has been extremely helpful and a great resource.We will absolutely continue to use Auto Doctor and recommend them to anyone!

Ive been driving a Volvo for years and never had a mechanic that could fix it the first time. After my Dad bought a jeep from Kirk and Curtis our family started getting all our repairs done there. After being happy with all their work on my Volvo we bought a second one from them. Had a few minor problems but it was a $4,000 car and they only charged me for parts. Bravo guys. Will buy again when other kids are old enough.

BUYER BEWARE!! These guys are crooks. The warranty sets you up to fail. The so-called warranty is nullified if there are no fluids in car. Guess what? they sell it to you without any oil or fluids and youre not the wiser! Bought car, brakes failed within 2 weeks, within 3 weeks transmission totally failed on highway on vaca with kids. Each time they wanted more money to fix. Had already paid more than BB value for car. BIG RIP OFF!!! This guy has done this too many times.

I originally went out to by a used vehicle from the guys at Auto Doctor. I ended up getting some minor work done on it later and the bill was on the house! These guys know their stuff and stand behind their work. I wasnt really looking for a new mechanic but they most definitely will be the ones working on my vehicles in the future! Check them out!

This is a top notch crew from Curtis through the whole organization. I bought a really clean 2000 Lexus from them that had a little hiccup every now and then that was really hard to figure out. They worked very patiently with me until we got zeroed in on the problem with the variable valve timing function and did me right getting it repaired. Everything about the way this purchase and job was handled was with the utmost professionalism. Thanks to Kirk and all you guys. I dont have my notes handy and my old mind is about gone or Id mention you all!!

I had never been to the Auto Doctor, but Curtis was able to get me an immediate appointment for a pre-purchase vehicle inspection. He offered two options: 1) $40 inspection and 2) $80 inspection (place car on rack). I chose the $80 inspection and do not regret it at all. I watched Curtis as he spent an hour driving and inspecting the car. He was able to locate several minor issues and a couple moderately serious issues. This greatly helped me in evaluating my purchase and negotiating a lower price at my auto dealer. I would highly recommend Curtis and the Auto Doctor. Thank you!

Bought a really clean 1992 Lexus from them, I was very happy with the shop and employees all through the purchasing process. The car had a cracked mirror that they had agreed to replace. They ordered the part but damaged the mirror housing trying to remove it. Getting them to own up to their own mistake and repainting the housing could be compared to pulling teeth.My dad also sent his truck there to get worked on for some body repair, and the shop proceeded to finish the job accumulating $400 more than originally quoted to him without calling him to notify him of ask if he wanted them to continue. Just blindsided him with it when he showed up to pick up the truck.All in all, it is not the worst shop and the staff is reasonably helpful, but they will try to work you over to save a couple dollars if you arent careful.

Kirk and crew are a solid staff. Cleaned the interior to be nearly spotless before selling and were very professional about an unexpected minor repair post-sale.

We just bought a Volvo here, and it was the Best Car Buying experience I have ever had! Even after we drove off the lot with what we thought was a new battery, only to find out after 3 stops it wasnt recharging and we were dead on the side of the road, the owner Kirk sent an employee to us with a better battery, and he installed it right there. The owner even noticed a piece of trim in the trunk that had fallen off and said to bring it in next week and they would fix it at no cost to us. I absolutely dread going to Used Car Dealers because most of the time they are trying to sell me a car that they havent even looked at to see if it has any problems. Not here! They thoroughly check to make sure there are no leaks or check engine lights on, and if they are, you better believe it will be fixed before going on the market. Not only did we have an amazing car buying experience, but Kirk has forever customers in us!....*Follow Up..... When my cars trim was being fixed the owner noticed the second battery he put in was still lagging so he replaced it with a brand new battery, plus 2 new headlight bulbs. These guys are awesome!
