The people here are very friendly, honest, and helpful. Went in the get my a/c system evacuated and filled. That failed 🙃Not by their fault, my a/c system has decided it no longer wanted to live and destroyed itself. Yay.. these 100° days make me really happy it went out /s 🤣🤣But they quoted me a price for repairing it if we decide to go that route, and helped us out with the bill since they didnt need to fill it for us.We will definitely come back to them for future repairs!!

Told me my catalytic converters were fine and transmission was fine week or so later transmission went out and the catalytic converters were all bad dont trust this place they will lie to you never taking my truck back over there for repairs again they dont know what they are doing they told me couple of things that needed replaced so I replaced everything and everything I replaced was still good and didnt need to be replaced so wasted about 800 dollars on nothing and think if I had them do it they would have made a profit off of me for doing nothing pretty much besides taking my money

Found my new repair shop. Everyone from Rachel (office manager) to Matt (owner) were awesome. They did great work for a fair price too. Easy to communicate with, straightforward, honest, great work, and fair pricing.

They did a great job of diagnosing & communicating what was wrong with my car. The dealership was wrong in their assesent & Overland Park Automotive fixed what the dealer said they couldnt. They also did their best to get my car back to me in a reasonable amount of time.No one ever likes to get their car worked on, but these guys made it relatively painless.

I would first like to say that Jerry is an uncommon mechanic. Trust me when I say that I mean this in the very best of ways. Jerry took the time to explain to me, in detail, what was going on with my vehicle, and he did so with an open book on the front desk. He not only told me what part we were dealing with, but actively showed me what he intended to do, and mind you, this wasnt just some routine task to be performed, this was work to be done on an impaired automatic transmission. He listened to me politely and took in all my considerations while helping me figure out the most affordable options. A month has passed since he worked on the car and I couldnt be happier with the results.I truly have nothing but wonderful things to say about this man and his shop. The shop, by the way, is the cleanest one Ive ever walked into. Its easy to see that he takes pride in his business and the work he performs. I would like to add that his wife, Shari, at the front desk, was exceedingly kind and helpful to us and answered all of my questions with patience and goodwill. It is safe to say that an excellent team is at work here.I would not hesitate to bring my vehicle back to them for whatever work needed to be done, and I reckon that Ill do so when the time comes. OP Automotive has been my go to car repair shop for the past 5 years. It is always difficult to find a good car shop as Im always wondering if I will get ripped off. Never at OP Auto. They communicate extremely well and the prices are very competitive. Their new email system keeps me up to date with possible repairs I may need and also it also keeps my repairs on file. I highly recommend this shop for any car repairs.

Absolutely the best in automotive service in the Johnson county area! They have worked on my wifes van, two of my trucks, and a number of my friends vehicles; always with attention to detail and excellent service. Took my wifes car in to get the fluid changed in the transfer case, a job most shops, even some Ford dealers, didnt want to touch. Turned out OPA was very familiar with the procedure and even let me hang around to watch, as I wanted to see how it was done and how bad the old fluid was. They made short work of the job, cleaned everything up nicely, and even came in under my phone estimate. Its nice to find a good shop like this these days as too many times you only hear bad stories regarding mechanics. I already have plans for more service in a few months and will definitely be going back and would highly recommend Overland Park Automotive to my friends.

Overland Park Automotive is the perfect place to get your oil changed and much more. The owner takes the time to go over the details of your car with you after he has checked it over. I like the non corporate feel of OP Automotive, and if you give them a chance you will be impressed!

Had my accord worked on multiple times with another auto service company. Could not get it fixed.Referred from my father in law to go to Overland Park Auto. Car was done in one day, running great and price was good. Very impressed with clean shop. Invoice was so professional and went the extra mile recommended additional potential problems with car. I.E. said my airbag is out and will not work, side mirror needs to be fixed, etc. Put estimated price in recommend section. Very professional all around service.

This place was recommended to me by a friend. I brought car in for an estimate of some work my VW dealer couldn’t perform (I needed a welder, evidently VW didn’t have one). I was given a fair estimate to fix the problem without the costly expense of having to replace the entire part. They backed up exactly what my dealer had told me, and they were able to service my vehicle right away. I’m very pleased with my experience here.

They never try to do more than I need & will show me things I can do, but tell me what is absolutely necessary. My whole family has been using for years!

The most down to earth people, who want to actually fix your vehicle. They do warranty work and are also ASE Certified so it wont void your warranty. And they will do the repair right. I went to my dealership to fix the P2098 code that my truck was throwing, and they was trying to get my to buy a bunch of useless parts and labor not relevant to the code my vehicle had. But OP Auto found out why my truck was throwing P2098 code, and took corrective action, and they come at you with paperwork as to why your vehicle needs a certain service. These guys are absolutely wonderful! And I know for a fact Ill be back for any, and every repair.

I was looking for a new mechanic and was referred to Overland Park Automotive. I had them do an oil change. I had a very positive experience from my first call to them to schedule the oil change to when it was completed. Everyone seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. I plan on returning for the next oil change in 3,000 miles.

Overcharge for parts and labor. Wanted to charge me $180 to change a $20 serpentine belt. Took it in for diagnostics.. they cleaned the throttle body and fuel injectors...$350. Took it back the next day because they set my check engine light to go off.. engine misfires (NEVER HAD EITHER PROBLEM TIL 5 MINS AFTER LEAVING THE SHOP IN THE 4 YEARS IVE HAD IT) so they tell me sure bring it back in. He said he spent 2 1/2 hours on it to check the check engine light (should have went to advanced auto but i wasnt thinking bc i panicked) and was trying to charge me $112 to do it UNLESS i got my plugs and wires changed there and they assured me OVER AND OVER that itd fix the problem.. well it didnt and they whacked me another $350 for the simple plugs and wires, that I had already had done the plugs last year anyways! $700 later and still never got it actually diagnosed and continues to have the same problems (except one problem was eliminated from cleaning the throttle/inj). He knew I was upset and called me 3 or 4 times while I was at work and asked me to bring it back but WHY? So you can withhold my keys til I give you more money like the day he was going to charge me for diag for a check engine light?!?!? NO THANKS. Figure out whats wrong with my car like I paid you $112 to do in the first place on the FIRST day. They had my car from open to close, on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. THIS GUY JUST WANTS YOUR MONEY!! STAY AWAY!!!
