Thanks to Mr Holman (Rob) I was in and out with my reservation and his customer is excellent! He was patient and informative not only with me but all the customers I saw him interact with. This location also had more option as far as moving equipment and kids to choose from. I would use this location even if I moved on the opposite side of town

The lady (Asst. Manager) I believe she was, assisted us with the most welcoming and awesome attitude, personality and customer service that Ive ever received ANYWHERE in Memphis. She really knew her stuff, U-Hauls equipment, and how to manage that facility, incoming calls and customers at the same time, all by herself. 10⭐s, and 2👍s up to her (the Chevy Girl).

We had a hitch installed. They were extremely professional, friendly, and helpful! The work was done well and in a timely manner.

The technicians here were incredibly helpful and friendly - I couldnt have asked for better help recovering from a road trip disaster! After getting my trailer hitch installed at a different U-Haul location, my trailers turn signals and brake lights had gone out a few hours into my road trip, so I came here to get it repaired. After several bad experiences at other U-Hauls, it was a breath of fresh air for the technicians to know immediately what to do. They not only fixed my wiring promptly, but they showed me exactly what had gone wrong from the other location, which gave me a lot of peace of mind to get back on the road. Everyone here was very competent and very welcoming!

My Husband I went into this location today looking for a storage to put our things in until we move. And let me tell you, Tish is the best she greeted us with a smile when we came in and helped us all the way through the process of getting us a storage. The facility is very clean and customer service is AWESOME! Thank you agin TISH.

Truck seats where dirty, all they did was squirt some kinda spray into it but you could tell it hadn’t been wiped down, my wipe was black after wiping down my seat. The cup holders where wet and all filed with hair and dirt . I was promised an extended drop off time due to the bad weather caused by the hurricane over the weekend. but it was never documented and it cost me. Big time.

The customer service here is the best! Friendly, amazing staff, sparkling clean facility and reliable equipment make this the best uhaul facility I have ever rented at!!!

On October 23, 2020, I arrived at uhaul on 137 W Illinois in Memphis TN at 5:30pm with a reservation for a 20” truck for 5pm. I noticed another customer there waiting by the door and a young lady who worked in the storage department. They was looking for the employee who works in the store and couldn’t find him. The employee phone was left on the counter and his vehicle was parked in front of the store but he was not able to be found for over an hour. I had people waiting for me to help move a 3 bedroom house and needed to get the truck loaded and drives to a storage located in Winchester rd before 10pm. After over an hour passed a purple PT Cruiser pulls up and 10 minutes after that a tall black man with braids walks up to the store. I had to wait until he finished helping the other customer that was in front of me waiting as well and then I got the 20” truck. The truck gas was next to the empty line and the gas light was on. He explained to me if I brought the truck back with a quarter tank of gas it will remove $12 off my final bill. I left uhaul to put gas in the truck and as I was filling up at the gas station I checked the back of the truck and found out the 2 wheeler that I was charged for was not on the truck. I had to drive back to the uhaul store and retrieve the 2 wheeler and then go to my designation. I arrived at my designation at 8:12pm. It was dark outside. Me and the people I had to help me move the 3 bedroom house rushed to get it done as fast as we could. At 9:30pm we cut off working and tried to rush the storage but with all of the valuables on the truck and traffic I had to drive at a safe pace which caused me not to make it until after 10pm. The storage closed facing me to lock the truck up and park it in a safe spot next to my house. Due to my work schedule 6am to 2pm I had to wait until I got off work to resume unloading the truck. I didn’t have help the next day and had to unload the truck myself and return the truck later that day. They charged me an extra day and late fees which total to $267 and some change. I won’t use uhaul again or recommend them to anyone. I’ll rather use a moving service like smiley moving company or 2 men and a truck.

You have no idea who wonderful the folks at this U-Haul are! My son moved from NJ to Memphis, and I live in WA state, so it was a bit of a mess to get everything coordinated. When my son finished packing in NJ, he didnt need all of the pads and returned them to the place in NJ instead of leaving them in the box. When he unpacked in Memphis, well, he didnt have all of the pads because he had returned them to the U-Haul in NJ.Rather than charge me for the missing pads, the kind folks at Memphis spoke with me and my son to try and figure out what happened. They made everything right, and I am *very* grateful.The moral of the story: Use this U-Haul location, and use all the pads in the box. ;)

Excellent customer service. The workers are very helpful and nice. This is my 2nd time coming here and Claudia, Robert, and the other two workers (I cant remember their names), were all very professional. If you live close to Downtown, South Memphis, or Midtown, and are looking for excellent customer service to help your moving process go smoothly, I would recommend for you to come here.

Do not Use this Storage! If your stuff is going to be on the 2nd floor because; once the Elevator is broken you can’t get your stuff... Now who gonna walk all of your stuff down stairs. Nobody will! Now I been calling everyday. Asking if the Elevator is fixed... cause Obvious I want my stuff!!! This been going on for a whole week!! I hope they don’t think am paying next month rent...!! If they can’t fix the problem soon.. And yes the storage is in my husband name... And we want what is our... I’am very upset!!! Because; our house is empty... This storage need to get themselves together... And fix the problem!

Quite possibly the best customer experience Ive ever had. Not only did Claudia go out of her way to ensure I had everything I could possibly need, it was apparent that she genuinely cared. Thanks to the employees at this location (especially Claudia), my move was quick and easy.

Moving is so stressful but the folks over at UHAUL South bluffs made this experience so much easier! Everyone was so nice and helpful. I accidentally reserved a truck for 11:30pm instead of 11:30am the day of my move and didn’t realize it until I went to pick up the truck. Since the truck I reserved wasn’t on the property Teddrick upgraded me to a bigger truck and upgraded my reservation from 3 hours to the rest of the day for the same price. The service here is absolutely amazing and I appreciate Teddrick and the other employees here for being so helpful!

We rented a U-haul truck from this location. It was very easy and convinient to access to this location with no problems to park. The manager Claudia was professional very helpful regarding our requests. I recommend this U-haul location for renting trucks. They even have a huge surface for storage needs in their historical building.
