My experience was great, I received professional and timely service. The guys called and informed of their location and expectants of arrival. Upon arrival a conversation was held of the process and details of the paperwork next to sign. Also, what will occur during the packing and what will happen upon the receipt of my move. I would recommend this service for local or coastal move.

The office team was responsive and did a good job communicating with me. The operations team wasnt good. I had a valuable item stolen from me and had to report it to the police. The company made no offer of restitution.

I had a tough day. The movers made it all go very well.Before the move, I had heard from someone they had a negative experience with the company moving in at this same apartment complex so I called to ask the company to be sure to send reliable, careful movers.Initially, I only planned for 2 movers. However when I informed them I had to move to the 9th floor, I was informed I had to have a third man (which cost more--I was a little upset, but keep reading to see how the story ends).On the day of the move, the men were efficient and careful at moving things out of my first apartment. I warned them that the second location wouldnt be as easy because of renovations happening now. When we got there, things were moving slowly because only one of the two elevators were up and running. After moving a few loads up, the elevator stopped working. I got a call from the moving company after a while to think thru other options that might be more cost effective since the issue was out of our control. However, the movers had been so efficient that the movers emptied my belongings out of the truck in hopes that it would be up and running soon. So they proceeded to move my remaining belongings upstairs one load at a time. They were kind and professional, even though obviously frustrated at the situation (because who wouldnt be?!). It ended up being great that three men were there and I was really grateful to have them all. I would hire them again anytime.

I had the pleasure of using Two Men and a Truck during my move. J. Moore and Dunlap were two of the men assisting with my move along with a third, whom I can’t remember. J. Moore and Dunlap were amazing but the third man was not so great, but Moore and Dunlap made up for it because they were courteous and took care of my items. I did review my experience about the third mover. Shortly after, the operations manager, Davon Cornelius contacted me personally and apologized for the third man. He was very courteous and I feel his apology was sincere. He even offered to reimburse me what I paid for the third guy! For these reasons, I would definitely use two men and a truck again!

Crew could not have worked harder. Truck driver was amazing as my gate is tough to maneuver. They had great manners and worked well as a team. Great group of guys that I would definitely use again. I had to prepay $1,000 due to late arrangement and 2 men and a truck refunded $375. They could have easily tried to cheat me. All 3 young men made me proud to live in Memphis! Hard work does pay!

Simms and his team were very prompt, called with notice that they were in route and were very professional and efficient. They did a quick visual inspection of all the items to be moved and then made very quick work of getting the items into the truck. The unloading went just as quickly. They explained everything that would take place and made sure to ask where the items needed to be unloaded in the apartment. I would definitely recommend Two Men and a Truck for any moving needs.

UPDATE/EDIT: Unfortunately, our second move was a terrible experience.The move began two hours late because the truck was smoking and had to be returned to the shop. The second team had one great member (Cortney) and one poor member, who I will not name. The move should have taken a few hours and took over four hours to load. The second crew member took smoke breaks in the truck, complained about being tired, and endangered his team member by not being able to carry items properly. They were closing up the truck but failed to take several items and had to come back and hastily load them. I called the supervisor and asked for a third crew member to replace or add to the team as I did not know how the two of them could go on with the unloading when we reached our destination. When they finally arrived at the destination, the lack of energy from the second crew member continued. He began dropping off chairs in the front room for my husband, son, and myself to move to their appropriate rooms. A third crew member was finally sent to our home but the move took over 8 hours. The damage to nearly every piece of furniture was unbelievable. I have uploaded just a few photos. I did not opt for the extra insurance, so the damage reimbursement came to only $150 with the included insurance. The supervisor doubled that, which was helpful, and also cut off an hour or so from the move as far as billing, but I was so numb from the experience I couldnt discuss it any further. It all comes down to personnel - the move will only be as good as the two people who handle it. Such a disappointing experience - and I had let my guard down after the first move. Just baffling. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Could not have been a smoother and easier move. Vanessa was my first contact and she worked through my items and logistics professionally - she eased my mind immediately. Jessie and Torrian arrived and pleasantly and efficiently moved our items into the truck and off to our storage facility. There were odd sized items and awkwardly packed items - they handled everything with ease. Would give them 10 stars if I could. They will be doing a second move for us this week if furniture and boxes. Awesome service!

The movers were were great! Would recommend to anyone moving - especially if you need movers within a tight timeframe (last minute, etc.). Very nice and helpful the whole time (even though they had to deal with tons of stairs)!

I was charged a 3 hour minimum because it was on a Saturday. They spent less thank an hour. I was not informed of a Special Saturday charge. The guys that actually did the work were great but beware of dealing with this company. Make sure you use a credit card that supportsyou declining inappropriate charges.

Felt that movers could have been more efficient- sometimes seen carrying one box at a time instead of using dolly. As a result, our move ended up costing $400 more than estimate.Carelessness when carrying in leather furniture in the rain (uncovered). Had to ask movers to place blanket on floor in foyer, as they were tracking water/mud throughout the hardwood floor. Lost a large artificial plant.Were told that we would receive a call to discuss extra amount beyond estimate prior to credit card charge. This did not happen, so we called to request a final invoice as well as to report the lost item. We did not receive an invoice and never heard back from anybody despite speaking with office three times.Will not recommend and will not use again.

I used this company to move me into my brand new home on 9/18, and they did an awful job. The movers were inexperienced and took 6.5 hours! I spent over $1,100 for this TERRIBLE experience!!! They busted my 55’ flat screen tv as well. I filed a damage claim and my home was repaired yesterday. However, my tv was not replaced because I unknowingly signed a “pre-move” form waiving them as liable if the tv was not moved in it’s original box. Please READ all the fine print and think twice before dealing with these guys! I was extremely disappointed, but learned a valuable lesson through this absolute HORRIBLE experience!!! Never again will I do business with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK!

I was very impressed by Two Men and A Truck...I had two of the kindest & most professional young men ever. Their wasnt anything I couldnt ask them that they wouldnt do. I was very apprehensive about using a moving company because my daughter used a company that tore her new couch up & my furniture is fairly new, But these young men wrapped my furniture so well & this made me feel very reassured that I picked the right company. I have used Two Men and a Truck before and had good experiences. However, this most recent time, I had a horrible experience. I was sent TWO people (as paid for) and only ONE person moved anything. He actually moved everything himself. Due to him single-handedly doing a two person job, items were damaged including a 65 inch TV, a $3,000 treadmill, furniture (desk leg completely broken off), and a few other misc. items broken and shattered. When we opened the packed truck at our destination, the new hired movers told us that it was one of the poorest packing jobs they had every seen. Despite the issues, I would give the one guy who did it all 5 stars for his effort. He really tried despite not receiving any help. The second guy spend most of his time sitting in the moving truck SMOKING around our stuff and furniture. He also asked for coffee, soda, candy, and food from our cabinets (which we gave to him). He never picked anything up unless he was asking for it. He tried to keep our portable fans, dishes, and furniture (and a few other items). It made my family and I very uncomfortable the entire time. Now, I will have to replace about $4,500 worth of my stuff. Not to mention, because the truck was packed so poorly, we had to leave several items that the new movers told us would have likely fit it everything was packed in a more efficient and SAFER way. Additionally, when the reservation was made, we made it very clear that we were moving from Memphis, TN to California and we needed experienced people who were capable of packing everything in a safe and efficient way for traveling across the country. We are very disappointed in the second person not contributing and leaving the first person stressed and pressured to pick up the slack. In hindsight, we should not have accepted this kind of service, but we were all on a stressful timeline and did not have time to send them away and request a different moving company for that same day.Edited Update: We have finally gotten in contact with the operations manager today and he appeared to be understanding. He refunded us $250, which allowed us to only pay for the one mover instead of two. He also stated that in the future we can contact them if we are not satisfied with the service at that time and the company will send a manger out to help direct the movers.

The guys I had were great, polite, & understanding. I just wished they got there on time, but other than that. It was a smooth move.

We had a fantastic experience with Two Men and a Truck Memphis. They provided a flat rate for our long distance move and adhered to the estimate. What impressed us most was our movers, Gordon and Allen. They were efficient, personable, and flexible in making our move go as smoothly as possible. I can also say now that we are unpacked nothing broke, not even the things we had haphazardly thrown into boxes near the end. Cannot recommend these guys enough!

I have been hesitant to post about my bad experience, but the company has done little to remedy things. I would caution anyone who is moving against considering Two Men and a Truck, Memphis. I had a long list of issues, but the most egregious was that there was an assault in my dining room between 2 of the workers. The day started late, well after 9:30, as they were An hour late. One had no mask, and essentially he was a punk. He was disrespectful and initially refused to wear one,  I gave him a mask, and he proceeded to wear it down partially over only his mouth, not covering nose, most of the day. He hid by the truck for half/most of the job. The supervisor did not enforce the mask policy. The guys all smelled of weed, and especially the younger punk, who I actually think was smoking on the job, hence, hiding by the truck. One guy overflowed the toilet in the downstairs bathroom, and of course we were all packed up- I had to clean up the mess immediately with moving blankets and paper towels- A MESS. Thats when 2 of them got into a FIST FIGHT in my dining room. It took 11 hours to do the job bc only 3 of them were really working, yet I paid for 4 guys..... I should have called the police but what are you to do when its reported on the spot to the company and the manager does nothing...? We were on a schedule to be out of the house, and I didnt want any trouble. I actually feared for my safety for a few moments, and am not exaggerating when I say I saw flashbacks of the fist fight for WEEKS. I contacted the company recently to give them a chance to explain, make things right, etc. In the end I paid $2500 for the WORST experience with movers. They scratched and broke a couple of pieces of furniture and the local manager, Mr Blake, had the nerve to tell me I missed the 96 hour window when I mentioned it last week. This sort of company should not be in business. Period.

The two guys I had were wonderful! The head guy was very polite and my move was not an easy one. I have a 3BR/2BT house that was moved into a storage unit. When we got there, we found that the unit was alllll the way in the back of the warehouse making their job that much more labor intensive and long. They never showed any frustration that I’m sure they felt and were still very polite and got the job done as fast as they could. Will definitely use this company again for my next move!

This company is a rip off. Do not use them. Very unprofessional and not forthcoming about the cost. I was told the deposit amount of $135.00 will be deducted from the overall cost. Not only was the amount incorrect I still ended up paying nearly $700.00 out of pocket. They have lost a customer as I refer them to my tenants due to myself being in the Property Management Business. DO NOT USE DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I wanted help moving a small one bedroom with very little furniture and approximately 10 boxes. Im 152 miles. I was going to pack everything. I just needed assistance loading it and getting it there, then unload it. I have no bedroom furniture, a couch w table and chairs and tv with stand. I was given an estimate over $2800. Everything I own isnt worth that.

I have rented a POD to be moved out if state and John and Courtney came and loaded boxes and furniture for us and were very professional, polite, careful with my items. Their work ethic was exceptional. They had everything loaded and protected in 2 hours which was fantastic. Can’t say enough good thing and will definitely use them again.

I wish I could rate them with negative stars. The service was terrible. I called a couple weeks in advance to schedule a move. The representative that I spoke with was courteous when I scheduled my move and provided a deposit for the agreed upon move date and time. The deposit was withdrawn from my account before the representative and myself terminated the phone call. On my scheduled move date and time I never received a phone call and after my appointment window lapsed, I contacted Two Men and a Truck to determine why no one had contacted me, nor showed up. I was then informed that I did not have a move scheduled. After advising the sales representative that the deposit was removed from my account weeks ago and the date and time was confirmed, I was then advised that I my move was never placed on the schedule! She then advises me that I could have movers come the following day or on Monday, but for a higher rate than I was originally quoted and the company would also require me to have a minimum of four hours of move time when I was originally told three hours. After speaking with her supervisor, he advised me that there was nothing he could do beside refund my deposit. I eventually contacted Andrew’s Affordable Moving who showed up within the hour. They were courteous. Their movers were professional. Their rates were also cheaper, to include the deposit amount! Their fuel fee is $75 compared to the $100 fuel fee that Two Men and a Truck charges. Their hourly fee was only $125 an hour and Two Men and a Truck charges $139 or $149 an hour. Andrew’s Affordable Moving is a Veteran owed company and that was also a positive benefit! I will definitely use Andrew’s Affordable Moving again. Save your time and money and DO NOT BOOK WITH TWO MEN AND A TRUCK! This is a terrible company!

It was a breeze using two men and a truck. The consultation section of my service was very easy and responsive. The movers were professional and kind. We had no issues, and they were extremely fast! We were worried that paying by the hour would mean the men would doddle or take extra long, but this was not the case! They were fast and effective.

Our move consisted of household furniture moved from our apartment to our new home in the next county. There was also one stop made on the way to pick up oversized items in storage at another location. Our movers were on time, efficient, careful, thorough, and very affordable even with the $100 tip we gave them on top of their fee! This was the third time we have used Two Men and A Truck for house and apartment moves, and we will consider using their services again in future moves, and recommend them to others.

From the initial call to set up a consult and the multiple other calls we had to make because our closing date kept moving,Vanessa was wonderful and didn’t miss a beat! Tyler was so awesome when he came out for the consult. Then when it finally came to our moving day, our team, which consisted of 4 men and two trucks, was amazing!!!! They were so efficient, courteous, and just a great group of guys!! Since this move was temporary I told them they had to come move us again when our house build is complete! The services I received were beyond horrible. Your workers broke two drawers on my dresser, my door on my desk, didnt take all of the items from the moving location, were standing around talking/taking excessive breaks(while Im being charged $135/hr btw) and were yelling and cursing loudly right outside my front door. Two were threatening each other about to fight. They could be heard by other neighbors Im sure. It was VERY EMBARRASSING AND UNPROFESSIONAL! Aside from my property being mishandled I definitely feel as though I paid more than enough ($540.00) to not receive the poor service that I did. There was NO REASON I shouldve still had to go to my old apartment and get the rest of my things. I also contacted the manager and was told someone would be calling me regarding my claim about the broken furniture (its been almost two weeks and no one has called me back). This was my second time using you all and the last. The services were NOT $540 worth.

However, they were able to solve it by calling in a second set of hands and immediately transferring my belongings to a different truck and it only made a one hour delay. The 3 young men that came to move me was excellent. I could not have ask for more polite, efficient, knowledgeable young men. Prior to getting started the lead explained everything in detail. Their service exceed my expectations. All 3 excelled in their job. I will highly recommend 2 Men and a Truck to anyone having to move.I rated this company two years ago when I used them as a 5 star. I used them again for my last move on March 1st 2021. In which I am so Highly Disappointed. The men arrived on time only wrapped half of my furniture. Did not wrap mattress or Box springs. Slid my furniture unwrapped down the stairs. When trying to take my sofa out they damaged the wall. Which they are in the process of repairing. However, this move has cost me a lot more than $600. Im now having to take off work twice 5 hrs each time to meet the repair ppl at the damaged apartment. Thats 10 hrs of pay. Ive had to purchase the Paint for the damaged apartment $44.00 along with the fact when putting one of my beds back together it was done wrong. On March 14 th I had my son in law check my bed frame because I knew something wasnt correct. That is when I discovered the DAMAGE to my Tempr Pedic mattress and box springs. This is a $5000. set that has been torn up by the movers. Needless to say I am sooooooooooo very disappointed in the way my property was handled. This move that was initially going to cost around $600. has now cost me TIME OFF WORK FOR REPAIR, (TWICE), COST OF PAINT, DAMAGE THAT CANNOT BE REPAIRED TO A $5000. DOLLAR SET OF MATTRESS AND BOX SPRINGS ALONG WITH SOME CHIPS AND SCRATCHES TO SOME FURNITURE. IM POSTING PICTURES BELOW. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and the the added expense is unacceptable. My first experience with this company was awesome this second experience was horrible.3/22/2021 Just received a call from Davin Cornelius regarding the damages to my mattress and box springs and the damage done to my apartment. Apartment repairs should be completed tomorrow 3/23/2021. However, he informed that the form I signed didnt cover any damages after 96 hrs. I unfortunately didnt discover the damages to the Mattress and Box Springs almost 2 weeks after the move. He apologized for the damage and explained the time frame was up to file a claim. And he could not compensate me anything on the damages or having to take off work. My mistake for not reading or signing the form where my damages were covered. When I voiced my concerns about having to be off work twice for the repairs that were not my fault, HE QUICKLY TOLD ME THAT THE DAMAGES TO MY APARTMENT COST THEM MORE THAN THE MOVE COST ME!!!!! YES, THIS YOUNG MAN TOLD ME THAT!I am furious and that statement came across to me as DISRESPECTABLE, DEMEANING, BELITTLING as if to say your MONEY, TIME and BELOGINGS doesnt matter to us. We got your money before we would even accept a claim from you. We are fixing damages to your apartment and you waited to long to find and file a claim on the damage to your mattress and box springs. So be happy and go away. He knew I was not happy and prior to ending the call he did say he would speak to his manager. At this point I am so out done with this company.I am blessed to work for a Major Sports and Fitness Company and have for 39 yrs. We move ppl globally and thankfully have a forum to share experiences with different vendors. This will be shared on that form and with the BB&B along with other social media sites. Yes my mistake because I didnt not check my furniture thoroughly when it was brought into my house. Yes I was two weeks in finding this major damage. I have nothing to gain from reporting the damage late. MY BAD. However being treated disrespectfully is unacceptable. Be careful who you hire and what you sign so you do not have to go through this.

Most professional moving company I have ever dealt with! Took pride in their job, took their time to make sure everything was safe and secure, and arrived at my new place on time with zero damage to anything. Calvin was the sweetest. Highly recommend!

The work was professionally executed. Curtis & Jackson worked very quickly and were cautious with everything they moved. They were also both very kind to my 7 year old grandson who wanted to help! I was very impressed with everything.

I didnt feel they took the care they should have with my furniture. A dresser had damage they claimed was from the elevator door, I believe it happened from something rubbing up against it. They dropped the piece hard at my old residence and gouged the parquet floor twice. I asked what would be done about it repairs? Was told I dont know I just put it in my report. I Have not been contacted regarding the damage.So its been two days and no contact by company. Today I unpacked the last of my boxes and one labeled very fragile had 7 broken crystal stemware pieces. Each was wrapped in bubble wrap and the box was stuffed with newspaper. They had to of thrown my box with force to the ground for that to happen. I am very upset with how careless these movers were with my belongings.Update, one week later, I was contacted by a very rude person who accepted no responsibility for my damages. If you value your belongings dont use two men and a truck.

Absolutely incredible service! These guys were super professional and punctual. Not a scratch or dent in anything. The had scheduled me for a three hour move and it ended up taking only 2! I absolutely recommend these guys. Best moving experience ever!!!

Very great service all around. We had a large interstate move - and we are really happy we choose Two Men and a Truck! Vanessa was thorough with the sizing and quoting process and showed a great deal of service flexibility when I mentioned we might need a secondary pickup along the way Cornelius and his moving team were extremely courtesy, professional, accommodating and was true to his his words - treated us like “family” throughout the 3-day move event. Over the years we have moved well over a dozen times - this was the first time We felt like we were truly taken care of! Kudos to the entire Two Men and Truck Memphis Team - we really appreciate being treated like “Family”!

Absolutely professional, Mr. Gordon and his counterpart made me feel safe with them as soon as they got out of the truck. I explained to them that I am a disabled veteran with anxiety and they assured me my belongings were in good hands. Their attention to detail was impeccable and impressive. Highly recommended!!!!!

The movers were professional and very attentive to the different needs we needed while moving. We had the chance to meet the Ops Manager as well and he was friendly and courteous. We will use them again and recommend them every time.
