The AC in the truck worked GREAT! Most important at this time of the year. :) This is always my UHaul Store of choice. Tony and his team do a great job with the trucks and vans and its a pleasant place to do business (unlike some of the other UHauls in the area).

Ive tried to reach people at the office several times with no luck. No matter what combination I press I end up going to the national call center with a 20 minute hold time. I was charged a cleaning fee and a refueling fee despite cleaning and refueling the truck myself before returning it. They charged me $25 for gas when I only drove 7 miles total and returned the gas tank at the same level that I got it. Even the paperwork shows that I picked it up at 3/4 and returned it at 3/4. I dont know what the cleaning fee was for because I returned it empty. I cant reach anyone or get an answer.

Worst customer service. The lady was not professional to start with. She was rude right from the beginning. Did not explain the rental process in a clear manner. She was just rambling. She would not check out the truck in a timely manner. It took me her more than 30 minutes to bring the truck. Then she have me a truck that did not have a functioning air conditioner in 90 degree heat. When I told her about it she made no attempt to replace it with another vehicle with a functioning air conditioner. I returned the truck at 6:45 and she had already closed and left. The office hours are till 7 PM. There we several customer s who arrived when I did and they all were complaining about this. I am never going to this location again.

I hate I had to give this review 1 star to leave a review. This location has the worst customer service. They are inconsistent with their policies and procedures. And seam to pick and choose who to provide great customer service too.

Their website went down and I was unable to cancel or modify my reservation, since noone answered the phone either. They charged hundreds of additional dollars instead of accept responsibility for their website being down. Not sure what else there is to say, but be careful.

This experience was a nightmare from the very beginning between the girl hanging up on my husband, then getting a message that they had reported the truck stolen even though we had contacted them every single day, then they overcharged us by about $300 and charged a card that we repeatedly asked them not to charge that we would pay cash when we dropped the truck off horrible experience very disappointed and will never ever use U-Haul again. Ive also called customer service Ive talked to three different people the issues not being resolved and they havent offered to try and fix it in any way they just keep saying we got the best price guaranteed I think not

The person working the front-desk on the day/time I made my return, had an attitude, was unhelpful, and didnt even do their job of Officially checking me out.I had to call customer service later, and have them manually enter that I had returned the trailer. Its like, I knew the lady working the front desk wasnt going to do her job. I kept checking for my confirmation email, but never received it.Luckily, the person on the phone of the 1-800# (dare I call the trash front office) Was helpful. And was able to do the front-desk persons job for her, by manually checking my trailer out - hence me not getting overcharged.

Staff seemed as if they didnt wanna be at work or they were frustrated with previous customers. It was 9am but I expected more of a graceful welcome.

Customer service was a complete joke. Wasted 3 hours and decided to call a friend and borrow his truck. Do yourself a favor and dont waste your time.

Stainless Steel, Hardworking Crew. These guys work tirelessly to deliver quality to their customers. Long hours do not hold sway over these U-Haul Employees of Highway 64 of Bartlett, TN. If you have an issue they are sure to address it and if they cant they dont drop the ball on it. They make sure its followed up on. Im proud to be a part of the U-Haul community at this location. I needed to return the rental by closing at 8pm and not 5pm as originally thought. I arrived at 754pm only to find the facility closed. There was an employee there readying vehicles for the next morning pickup and she would not check me in. I had to use the night drop. I called several times the next morning and no one answered. They finally called me back when they thought a dolly was not returned. I normally do not write reviews but I was a bit frustrated.

The entire rental, pick-up and return process went very smooth and efficiently. Good experience and good value.

The entire process was a mess! I ordered a truck online and was then called and rescheduled which messed up mu entire day, causing my moving help to only be able for am hour and a half. and I scheduled to rent a storage, got to the location and was informed that uhaul does this frequently and that I did not have a reservation so I had to start the process over causing me to be even later returning the truck. I was about an hour and 40 minutes late but was charged for the entire day! Terrible just terrible the whole process. The worst part was at uhaul on pepperchase, Southaven MS

After Id picked up the U-Haul and got to my destination, I realized after pulling up the back door that the dolly was already broken from the seal and was just laying in the truck bed. Immediately, I called the local phone number on my receipt to let them know so that I wouldnt be charged for it. I had to hold for about 10-15 minutes before I finally got someone, and when I did, it was someone at a call center in Arizona. I told him the situation and he assured me that he had made a note in the system and I would not be charged for this. When I turned in the U-Haul, there was a sign out front to wait to be checked out by a representative, but after waiting for about ten minutes, I decided to just go in. I was thinking that someone would accompany me back out to make sure that everything was okay, but I was told that the system was down and as long as I had put the requested gas amount back in and didnt go over the mileage, I was free to go and that I would be emailed a receipt. Imagine my surprise when I checked my email for the receipt a few hours later and not only had been charged for the dolly I was assured I wouldnt be charged for by customer service, I was also charged a $25 cleaning fee. When I called, of course, I was directed to an out of town call center and they could not tell me why I was charged the cleaning fee, so I sent an email to the email address on my receipt, to which I still have not gotten a response, and this was two days ago. Needless to say, I will never be using U-Haul for any services going forward, not even a different location. The entire experience was totally unprofessional, not to mention, that they have taken their payment out of my account in full with the unnecessary fees already, and I STILL have a pending charge for over $50 more on my account for some reason. Guess Ill have to call back through customer service and wait another 10-15 minutes on hold to see what thats about.

I booked my unit weeks in advance and it was not honored. On move-in day, I was told they didn’t have any units left of the type I reserved. They did not honor my reservation and I was not informed. I was forced to pay for a more expensive unit since my movers were already there with the truck to unload. Rude employees and terrible management that does not take care of issues or return calls. Climate control was out for weeks during the summer without notice and gate was broken / open for months without repair. This place is a disaster. On top of it, they have some of the highest rates in the area. Would not recommend.

Uhaul employees are the rudest people. Never again will I use uhaul. 2 outta 2 different uhaul experiences this week and both places suck at customer service.

Quick and easy. The pickup and return processes are so easy. You are in and out within minutes (if you have a reservation which I highly recommend).

Great facility for U-Haul rentals, moving supplies or self storage. Easy to get to from Highway 64 and is tucked behind NAPA auto parts. The staff is always attentive, courteous and kind and will to help with any needs. April Oates, the owner is great and provided me with a grate rental and prompt service. Thank you!

The young man working the morning we rented was very nice and friendly. The back of the van was pretty dirty and had a large amount of broken glass. Which he did attempt to sweep up. Otherwise van was clean and in good shape. When we returned the van, young lady working the counter was more interested in watching whatever was on the phone/computer than talking to customers. She was quite rude. Likely would not use this location again.

Truck was not clean. Truck was retired on full tank but I was still charged for gas !!!!! I will never use or recommend Uhaul to anyone. Especially not this location ...00000 stars

The young lady that helped me with getting a truck was very nice and friendly. They didnt have any size trucks I needed except 1. But another customer had it reserved. She said if I could have it back by 3 I could use it. I said sure it was back at 2:35. I have rented from this location several times and this was this best one of all. The lady there before was not professional and would have you leave items and social security cards and stuff. I didnt like her. This young lady let me know that the staff is moving in the right direction.

This location is a lot better than the rest!!! Its small but cozy and clean! Even the restroom was pleasant, lol!!! (So cute). The manager and staff seem to care about their customers. The manager made an experience, that went wrong, right!! Really nice staff. Will definitely come back to this location. Btw, the experience that went wrong was from the roadside assistance team in Missouri. Had completely nothing to do with this staff, but the manager made my day better!!! Thank you!!

I went in to check on wardrobe boxes the young man there was not very friendly he wasnt very cheerful and had a I dont care attitude. I will not go back to this particular U-Haul. All I can say is he was there. Not a very good representation for the business. This location was at Bartlett and Appling.

Rented the truck. Trash inside the truck, bed was slick, got stuck inside the gate. Dolly not properly secured so it broke out of the tinny zip time and slung arounf while we were driving and got charged for that. After 2 days of constant head aches with these guys im told i have to wait 74 business hours to be contacted to even talk about a refund of money that i got jiped out of. And now i just want my money back in total so i never have to mess with these people ever again.

I rent storage at this facility.I have rented storage units for 10 years, and i have been at this place for about 3-4 months now.It is a hassle to rent a unit at this location, there is trailers and trucks parked everywhere, that makes it hard to get in and out and even load and unload your own truck and trailer.Not to mention that they block the entrance gate every day.I regret moving to this location, and will move out as soon as it is possible.

The cust service is terrible. Im being charged for a storage unit & dont have anything in storage. Whenever I call to check it out they always are busy with long hold times. I rented a uhaul & donated my items to charity a month ago & they charged me triple the rental making mistakes. Management changed and they done got sloppy. I have to make a special trip to this Memphis storage unit now cuz sure as sugar cant get these folks to answer the phone. #Goodness Gracious# Please Do Better

In general my Uhaul experience was positiveI until attempting to return the trailers. iPhone rental of the two U-Haul trailers I was advised that they came with a one month free storage!!? The free month is not exactly what I would call free. I was was advertised that I must buy a Uhaul lock for the storage door then I was also advised I must take out a certain amount of insurance, thats something they fail to mention when advertising the one month free storage.When returning the second trailer the next afternoon after completely unhooked from vehicle they noticed that I had left a lock through one of the loops on the safety chain not interfering with the hookup of the safety chain. Employee re attached U-Haul to my vehicle and refused to let me leave it there I attempted to inform him I would return with key to lock only live one point four miles away.For all the good experience I received from Uhaul at beginning the ending cancelled out.Thank you Lord Jesus Christ for not letting me say somethings that I could not take back.
