Went to this place after talking back and forth with salesman on a vehicle and At first they seemed helpful with all my questions about the vehicle I was interested in. I drove 4 hours to get to this place to see the vehicle and test drive it. Once I got there no one seemed to want to help me it’s kinda like they look over you, however finally after a several minutes got connected with the guy I was dealing with which again seemed like a pretty good guy. Long story short the reason why I rate this dealer so low is due to the fact they do not negotiate their prices at all and are very overpriced (realized after doing my research it was overpriced, plus went to the dealer next door and they had the same vehicle which was newer and had only half the miles the one at this dealership had and was 3k cheaper!!) not counting the fact after trying to negotiate they do not hesitate turning that down very quickly. Finance options aren’t great (I have excellent credit) they expect you to put thousands and thousands down. If I were you I’d stay away from this dealer.

While I have never personally shopped here, I will say, I traded my 2015 Camaro LS with 95k+ miles, to another dealership, and recently I found it for sold here. They were asking over 18k. However, I bought the car with 33k miles on it, 4 years ago, for 14k. And after I bought it I found another one 2 hours away, RS package (nicer) with just a few more miles for 13k. From what I’ve seen of their prices and theirs vehicles, if you shop here you’re being absolutely screwed and way over paying! Just my 2 cents.
I have bought just about every car Ive had since I have been in Memphis from Mt. Moriah. They are awesome to deal with and literally the best experiences I have ever had in buying a car. My Challenger that I bought, I literally walked in and it took 20 minutes to sign the paperwork, and I was out and on my way. In all HONESTY. The salesman seem like a decent guy. But coming in their with 4K Down and Fair credit felt like I had $100 dollars and a job selling newspapers. It’s almost like they didn’t want to sell me the car. Every time I got a update on of I could get the vehicle or not the news got worse. We can get you in it for $750 a month... We can get you in it but we need another $1500... for a 9 year old Jeep with 130,000 miles??? No exaggeration...ALL FACTS

I called and inquired about a vehicle (Lincoln MKX) I was prepared to purchase today. I asked the salesman to verify if the vehicle was available prior to my visit. He assured me it was there. I even called prior to going, and he said okay, see you shortly! I get there, hes looking for the car. He was so disengaged even after, I greeted him. Im thinking,Wth?? Needless to say, we found out the car had been sent to Collierville for sale prior to my visit! What a waste of time, and he being doing this for 30 years. Okay, its time for some Basic Sales training 101!!

Recently purchased a vehicle from Mt moriah auto sales in Memphis. The first week I had it I took the vehicle to get the windows tinted and the guy noticed there was drugs in the vehicle that was “detailed” ready to sell on their lot! Be aware I had the vehicle 2 weeks before it ended up in the shop needing transmission work.. got it back drove it for a day and here it is going on another 3 weeks in the shop due to motor work! I was told everything had to of gone through their shop to be certified in order to get a warranty but I’m sure codes were cleared just so they could get it onto their lot! I traded in a perfectly good vehicle to these people just to get a Lemon and to be left paying all deductibles etc! Don’t recommend them they are no help!
I hate to leave a poor review. I had faith that things would go smoothly and this would be a great experience. It was the exact opposite.My salesman was exceptional!!! Jackie and Lisa have terrible customer service. They never answered the phones and when they did, they were constantly redirecting me to someone else or just never responding to my voicemail, or lying to me like they were handling my stuff.I had to receive 3 sets of temporary tags and even had to ride around on expired temporary tags due to the lack of communication and thorough customer service. I purchased my vehicle July 13th. It is The end of September and I just received my tags today.I didn’t want to leave a review. I wanted to call in to speak with the manager, but what a surprise. No one answered the phone!!!!!

Extremely shocked at the untruthful, overall customer satisfaction this dealership portrayed, just to make a dollar. We Drove all the way from Texas to purchase a truck. We were told the truck was in great condition, ran great... etc., a 6.7 power stroke Diesel engine.when We arrived, the truck overall looked and ran great. When we got it on highway, and got in it... the truck had obvious motor problems. Not firing from all cylinders. When we returned to the dealership, we were told they would not be fixing the truck. That they would come off the price $1,000- ONLY. and sell as is. (Motor replacement is $9,000- $14,000). My husband offered 3,000 less than asking price, and we were told “no, if it doesn’t sell- we will send it to auction”. 🤔 so the intent, we are assuming, is to sell a CUSTOMER a truck with a shot motor!! Just to make a dollar.Extremely sad! Would def consider this when purchasing from them!

My visit to Mt. Moriah Auto was not pleasant to say the least. I had a unique situation that i told one salesman, and after that he pretty much blew me off and directed me to Ray Parker. Ray was helpful and he ended up working with me to get me the vehicle I was interested in, which was very much appreciated. However, the dealership as a whole is terrible. I got my vehicle about 2.5 months ago and I have still not gotten my license plates. My assumption is because they “forgot”. The vehicle I purchased have 12 miles till empty and when I asked about them filling it up, they said the gas card is locked up already. So I had to go straight to the gas station. The vehicle also had trash in it since the manager himself was driving it right before i purchased it. Once the first salesman saw me signing paperwork on the vehicle with the intent to buy, he began making a scene about not getting half the money from the deal. He brought me into the conversation, and the manager had to fire him right in front of me. Or so I thought. I went back a month after that to see if my plates were in, and there he was. I guess he was rehired or something. I will NOT be returning after I get my license plates. Other then Ray Parker, this place is trash.
I will never buy another car for this place again were supposed to put a NEW NEW part on my truck when I bought it IN July end up repairing it didnt Know it came apart again now they saying they want fix it. Don’t leave any cash in your car when they service it because it’ll be missing when you pick it up and all the management will have to say is they’re not responsible for our personal items. Edit: the manager replaced the monies taken... But don’t leave anything valuable in your car. Outside of this my experience has been pleasant and accommodating

Don’t have a job at a suppose to be professional place if you don’t know your own darn inventory. This is not the guessing game. If I could give negative stars I would. I just got a New To Me MiniVan and not only is it a SOUND vehicle, but its very clean! The Sales Team is great as is the Finance Team! My Van only had one flaw and that was a cracked windshield and it was replaced by them within 48hours of my purchase! I just purchased a truck from here and had a good experience overall with my salesman Joseph Taylor, but Ray Parker finished the deal and ultimately made the sale with his knowledge of what I was looking for. I dont buy vehicles often, but when I do I will make sure to find Ray wherever hes working.

He called me the day after I expressed interested in a car on their website. He kept in contact with me through the whole process to let me know what was going on. Tim Pomp and Reggie at Mt. Moriah auto sales take advantage of women and sell lemons! He sold me a 2008 BMW and the transmission went out before the they even got the paperwork to me to get my tags! After putting down 6k on a used car that didn’t even last 45 days he has the audacity to try to take me to court over a 1600 dollar balance! Lol it was 3500 just to repair the transmission and when I offered to trade it back and get something else within 45 days of buying it they didn’t want to speak to me! This place is a joke and I will be fighting this in court. TIM POMP is the epitome of a used car salesman! See ya in court.

I had found an couple of things wrong with the truck told them and it was taken care of without all the run around. I would recommend them to anyone you will be taken care of and treated fairly. And David Kelly and Chris the service managers will not help you at all once they sale you a car they are pretty much done with you. I traded in my Honda Pilot for a Toyota Tundra here with the help of Ray Parker. He was such a big help to us!! He did his absolute best to make car buying as painless as can be. The only problem we had was with the detailing department; however, Ray helped take care of the small issues we had.

I went in knowing what trucks I wanted to see. The salesman I spoke with, Randy Crump, did not pressure me into looking at other vehicles I didnt have interest in. I decided on a truck but started to get cold feet on the purchase. He and I walked around the lot checking other vehicles, and he did not give me information on anything until I asked for it, which was greatly appreciated. Eventually, I got over my cold feet on the original truck. He was incredibly professional and helpful throughout the entire process.
My car buying experience was great but I got my car on April 2nd and I still havent gotten my tags back yet and its the middle of May! Okay, havent even had my car for 3 months and the transmission went out! Thank God I bought extra coverage!

Been waiting for my tag for 2 1/2 months!! They want even give me a temporary tag!! I live 2 hours away. Every time I call I get the same dog and pony show. I will NEVER buy anything from them again and i will tell everyone to stay away from that place. And the truck I bought came with 2 key fobs but only one was for my truck. I called and was told I should have checked it. 400 dollars later I have a second key fob. Stay away from mount moriah auto sales. ...

The details of my experience is this is a great place to work. Take your car somewhere else to get it fixed if you want to, but if you like your car i dont recommend it. Instead of just making up problems, we Diagnose the real problem and make sure its right before it leaves. Were not the most expensive, but we aint cheap either. You get what you pay for.
The worst service! Do not buy a car there if you can help it! Only reason im giving it one star is because George (the salesman that sold me my car) was so nice and didn’t do anything wrong. Their title department can’t get it together- they say they will follow up and send you paperwork/check that you need, but never do. I’ve reached out over 10 times with no help or follow up as they promised. It shouldn’t be the customers job to get stuff done for an everyday transaction.
I saw that Mt. Moriah had a vehicle on Autotrader that I wanted, and it was priced about 3 thousand dollars below Blue Book value. I used the contact seller feature to ask Mt. Moriah about the vehicle, and was immediately contacted back by Ray Parker. Ray was great and he took all the pictures I asked for and sent them to me personally. We discussed the vehicle in depth, and went over any and all issues I had with the Carfax report, which was made available to me from Mt. Moriah for free. I decided, with help from Ray, that this is the vehicle I wanted, but I was over a thousand miles away in Miami, FL. Ray was very helpful and got everything I needed to get approved for a loan over the phone. Once it was set-up, I could not pick up the vehicle for a week and a half so Ray set it up for them to hold the vehicle for me. I made travel arrangements and Ray picked me up from the airport in the vehicle. Once I arrived, it was as simple as reviewing and signing some papers and I was on my way. The vehicle price was great and my loan interest was low relative to my credit standing. All in all this was great experience, and trusting Ray Parker was the right decision because he put me in a vehicle I absolutely love.

Went to look at a 2015 Fiat. It was listed for $13,998 with a little over 19k miles. Before test driving it we realized the vehicle had closer to 22k miles and there was absolutely no coolant in the reservoir (bone dry) and the heat was blowing cool. After the test drive the salesman Vincent suggested I take it to the dealer myself and get it fixed since it was still under warranty. Eventually the owner of the vehicle (Scott?) said he would have all the fluids refilled and have the heat repaired and call me once it was complete. I never heard anything back from them till this day which was a little over a month ago. Mind you I pass this place at least 4 times a day, 5 days a week and the car just sat there. Probably a week ago the car was gone. I assumed it was sold or maybe they finally took it in for service, so I looked it up online. Not only is the car still available but now it is more than $500 above the original asking price and they still have the mileage listed at 19k miles!!! Shady Shady business going on up here

My wife and I have been using the service department at Mt. Moriah for about six years and have always been more than satisfied with the quality of service and the polite way we have been treated.A while back I had to replace the motor on my Excursion (purchased new in 2001) and Chris at Mt. Moriah gave me a reasonable quote. It was a tough decision as to whether to replace the engine or sell the vehicle. I did a lot of research on the situation and actually found an obscure company who offered an engine for a couple of hundred dollars less than the one Chris had quoted. When I asked him about it he was more than happy to contact the company and ordered the less expensive engine for me. The engine was installed and runs perfectly.With all the good service we had received it was only natural the we contacted Mt. Moriah when we decided to buy another car for my wife. After looking around and comparing prices on the Internet as well as other dealers we settled on the one we found at Mt. Moriah.We could not be happier with all aspects of this dealership and I am amazed by some of the other reviews.

They a great getting a car. But your license plate, the receptionist keep connecting me to Mrs. Blackburn and twice I been out there. The receptionist says my plate should be in at be in at 5pm. When I was calling should the receptionist told me that then? While I am wasting my gas all day.
Never in my life have I ever been treated so poorly by a repair service shop staff. I have been there 3x for the same problem. They tried to tell me the reason why my car was messed up so after calling my car loan provider and speaking with the lady who advised me that she did NOT say the things they were saying the guy Eddie refused to come back out and talk to me when I had the lady on the phone. Another guy named Kelly when I was trying to explain something said he wasn’t going argue with me and walked away from me as I was speaking. They were trying to intimidate me, belittle me, and couldn’t even explain to me what the problem with my car was when in fact it wasn’t what they said. They shoved me out the door after being extremely rude. The only nice one was the guy who actually fixed my car. The problem was whoever installed my gps tracker obviously didn’t know what they were doing Bc it was rigged causing it to malfunction and my car to not start on multiple occasions. I don’t advise you to ever use them for service because they will talk to you like your a dog. I’ve never left a review but I just felt it was necessary.
