The employees are a tad slow but theyre nice. The car I rented had just been returned. The employee washed the car but it could have been done better. But considering there are only two employees I wont hold that against them.
Bought my vehicle in July 2021 today September 17th 2021 have not received my tag,called the office 100 times all am getting is the run around no straight answers, very unprofessional employees about to lawyer up......
Yesterday, l was searching for a vehicle. My car had been totaled in a horrific car accident in which all four of us walked away under God’s divine protection. The sales portion of the vehicle purchased on June 18, 2020 was fine. I was greeted when I walked in, asked the usual what am I looking for...the expected took place. However the problem is the wait time for the sales tax. I understand the idea of “making the sale.” However, I do wish that I had been told about the extensive wait. Would I have gone somewhere else had I known about it? Of course. But the transparency would have been greatly appreciated and respected. To know of other dealerships that have made sales and their customers have received their info concerning sales tax makes me feel like I should have gone else where to make my purchase. I would like to say that I thank Jennifer for her attempts to find out what is going on with my tags. Bottom line: If you make a purchase during this time, you will have a long wait for your tags. What I would like to happen now is to hear from someone above Jennifer to contact me with direct information concerning my sales tax. Month 3 without them is about to begin.
Was there yesterday from open til after close. They were super patient with me as a first time buyer and even let me take two cars to a mechanic to get them checked. Like any car sales they will try not to move on the price at all especially being a no haggle price establishment but they try to work with you as much as they can. It might have taken all day but i left with the car i wanted for a good price!
Car buying part was easy paid in full and I decided to not do my registration through them after reading the reviews about wait time but the wait time is just as bad when even if you don’t register through them. I was told I would receive my title in 1-2 weeks called today 3 weeks after my purchase and was informed it actually takes about 40-45 days to receive the title. The cars they have are beautiful low mileage newer models but the price you pay is the wait time for paperwork. Just Beware

I was with my daughter who was inquiring about a particular vehicle to purchase, and they are really informative and really nice. The vehicles are mostly one owner vehicles of course Hertz themselves.With all history and well taken care of.She purchased a 2018 Buick encore, loaded in perfect condition still under warranty as well.

Buyer BEWARE.. I got a 2016 Nissan Versa SV from this location in September 2018. I was beyond happy and ecstatic abt my purchase given the amount of time the workers put in to find me a perfect car after I declined the first sale of another car once I realized it was out of my budget. My issue is that when I purchased this car, they opted to add a 2,500 LIMITED warranty because they said that was the only way I would get approved for a loan and did NOT put emphasis on the final acceptance program such as GAP insurance (ONLY $779 TOTAL) which is literally crucial when you have a total loss vehicle for insurance to pay the difference instead of it coming directly out of your pocket. Fast forward.. Im dealing with having to pay out of pocket for the balance that easily couldve been avoided if they wouldve sat me down and urged me to get GAP insurance (which is usually included in a dealership price at other establishments) and been as genuine as they were when trying to put me into a car and make a sale! DONT be fooled. This is their job and they dont have your best interest at heart. I learned the hard way considering this was my first financed car purchase.
Went there looking to purchase a car. Staff was very helpful and attentive. I ended up with a 2018 Kia Sportage. If youre looking for a good used car, this is a great place to go. They have a lot to choose from. Low mileage and prices. Factory warranties plus they give an additional extended warranty. All models are 2017 and up. Im very pleased with my SUV.
I bought my 2017 Toyota Camry from here at the end of December. After shopping around at other dealerships, I came back to Hertz. Best decision! Reggie and staff were so helpful with the car buying process. They were detailed and explained everything I was signing as well as what the next steps were. My car had a scuff on it and they willingly repaired it for me and it looks good as new. Highly recommend to anyone in the market for a new car!

My wife and I had an excellent experience with the Hertz sales staff at the Memphis location. The vehicle we purchased was in excellent condition and we got a great price! The staff was helpful and we were never pressured into anything unlike every other dealership we have bought cars from. The price was a No Haggle price which made it all the easier. We would definitely buy a car from them again.

My experience today on my rental so far is good. I rented the car for a wk. Customer service was very helpful. If the car start messing up the 5 star will go dwn to a 2 star.Over as of today its all good.

I looked all over Memphis for a nice late model used car. I found many but NONE as gently used and at a great price as I found here!! Good selection of retired rentals. My Nissan had 39K miles. Brand new looking inside and out. All cars are Certified with a years warranty from Hertz. No haggle prices are fair or below market value. All have carfaxs and they are proud to show them. Easiest purchase ever. Smartest as well.

When I returned my car I always check my accounts when I leave never have I received anything pertaining to a hold afterwards until yesterday! I called Corporate however they said the hold will come off. Ok well I asked the young lady Chanda when she answered not knowing who I was at first. I asked her was there a hold amount once the car is returned she said no it isn’t if your bill has been finalized. I said well I just spoke to Corporate and the amount on my card was 200.00 more than what I said I think you were the one that handled my return yesterday without asking me who I was she knew who I was. Hmmm then she said you can’t listen to Corporate they don’t know what we know, or what is going on. I said funny they knew how was holding on my account. So why you didn’t tell me it was probably going to reflect a hold. She said well it wasn’t suppose to I said well it did!! She said you not letting me finish I said go ahead. She said when you switched cards it looked like it was going to have a hold. It did, she said you don’t understand HUH? What you mean I was in your face you should’ve said it looks like it maybe a 200 hold so be aware but she didn’t! Then how are you going to say Corporate doesn’t know what goes on, maybe they don’t however that’s not what you tell customers. Gheesh when is it ever going to change! Where’s the store manager he’s not in ok where is GM please hold never comes back to the phone Hertz never again poor customer service! Never apologized never said I did fail to tell you I’m sorry nothing! Then she kept saying I didn’t understand WOW!! Three f’s you have messed with my Faith, family, funds. I should’ve known cause you asked when I looked at the receipt was everything ok! You looked as if you seen a ghost! Ms Kathryn Marinello I hope you get this! The parking lot looks like the junk yard you all have to much going on the young man was on Facebook and the other young lady was complaining! Sad sad 😞
I love the vehicle that I purchased here. The negative is that it took too long to receive my licence plates and registration. After several calls to the finance manager I was told that there is a third party that completes this process for them. Well nearly two months later after a couple of drive out tags and a few more calls I finally got my package in the mail. The process was much too stressful. I would rather register my own vehicle.

When i purchased a car in November 2017 bought an $1800 warranty from them,here it is halfway through April 2018 and i still do not have my warranty booklet that i was promised. Finance manager Russell Stone keeps giving me the run around on getting this booklet. If i call him he never returns my call. I half to drive over there 3 times because he doesnt return phone calls. He will not answer any email...period. Enjoy the car i bought BUT i dont like being given the run around...hey i bought the warranty why not give me the booklet so i can use it? No excuse for this at all.
Horrible..... buyer beware..... great until they close the deal.....Our daughter purchased a vehicle from this dealer in the end of January 2017. It is now May 2017 and she has yet to get tags or title. Her bank has not received the title. We contacted the state of TN motor vehicle commission and the dealer has not even submitted the information to the state for the tags or title.We picked up her fourth drive out tag today. They told her she could not get another one unless she brought in the previous drive out tag. She has had to go in person or have her boyfriend go for her to get the temporary tag each time.The salesman (Gene) and the other manager who did not bother with introductions were unable to give us any information on when she would get the registration and title. Only that they were working on it...Horrible customer service. My daughter has contacted this dealership over and over with no results. Would never recommend this dealer. everything went smoothly while they were selling the car, now that they have the check seems they cant follow thru on their end of the sales contract.
I will never in life rent a car from here again. I reserve my car for 5pm I get there at 4:45 they tell me it will be a few mins cause they have to get the car cleaned up. They didnt have the car ready till 6:30. Kieara told me that she would speak to upper management about giving me a discount for the inconvenience, but she never follow through with it. Also they did not do a very good job cleaning the inside of the car. The car seats was very filthy. Hertz have lost my business for life

Its okay. I knew what I was looking for before I arrived by checking the inventory they had online. Service wasnt great or outstanding but wasnt bad or horrible, either. They sold me my car with the tank on E (after telling me that it would have some gas in it when I came back to pick it up), ink on the front and rear windshields from (I guess) when it gets marked, and the inside just wasnt clean. I also purchased the extended warranty and the dent shield. I asked them to hold the pamphlets and Id get them when I picked up the car. That was my mistake because something like *put them in the car so Id get them when I get the car* apparently never occurred to anyone 🤷🏾♀️ Would I go back? Id check the inventory online again to see if they had what I was looking for at a price I was willing to pay first but sure.

My poor rating here is based on my impression of the company and its policies. This company is rated poorly by its own employees on Glassdoor. My experience with the staff at this location was generally very positive. The prices are lower than any other competitor I encountered. You are paying such a reduced price for a reason though.The first vehicle I purchased had damage underneath that I didnt notice from a renters accident. The company did not fix this damage. Wherever this vehicle came from the damage was either intentionally ignored or not noticed at all somehow... It needed body work.The manager here allowed me to drive the damaged car for four weeks until a suitable trade arrived. This was generous and considerate. I accepted the trade and paid more for the trade. This vehicle was from Minnesota. The control arms on the suspension as well as the rotors and steel wheels have some surface rust from icy conditions. None of these components are permanent necessarily...What you may be getting is not only a vehicle used by maybe hundreds of members of the public, (Public bathrooms are a good example of how the public can treat things) you may be getting a vehicle with damage that is not readily apparent.Damage from customers may be overlooked as well as weather damage. You will want to have the vehicle looked at prior to making a purchase. Overall I am satisfied because I did pay substantially less than I would have for the average two year old vehicle of this make/model...but I am not impressed with the shady business practices of this company. This is just one mans honest opinion though. I am not a car expert or an expert critic of any kind.The owner has commented beneath me and Id like to attempt to translate the smoke screen of pseudo-technical jargon. Hertz has standards that I wont at all elaborate on in any meaningful detail and I hope people will think youre confused rather than an actual competent, honest consumer. Your car is your problem now, good luck. Ive had no problems with my replacement car thus far and its been about 3 weeks. Just for the record...
The man really put in extra effort to work with me, and he seemed like he was more interested in being honest than trying to get me to buy a car, I most likely will be buying a car from him
