The way the glasses are displayed is very inconvenient for customer selection. They are stored behind the counter and the only way you can try them on is by the employee behind the counter handing them to you every time. Most glasses stores/optometrists have their glasses on the outside to allow people to try them on. If this place had enough staff that wouldn’t be so bad having them behind the counter, but they literally only have one person working behind the counter at any given time. It’s almost impossible to try on and select the best fitting glasses when there are 3 other customers trying on glasses and just one person trying to assist all three at the same time. You feel like your being rushed and the customer service isn’t the best. Came on another day to pick up my glasses, which are already paid for.... The sign on the door says they’re open until 5pm, yet at 4:45 their doors are locked. Called the store multiple times and no one answers, despite the fact that it isn’t yet 5pm. No wonder they don’t have much business. I came here because my insurance lapsed and I bought a voucher they advertised on Groupon, this being the closest location. I was considering coming here from now on because it’s so close to my home, but with my experience I’d rather go back to my original eye doctor.
** DO NOT GO HERE**I went there for an eye exam after 2 years explaining to them beforehand that i needed a new prescription because my vision with my glasses had become blurry. They took 2 weeks to give me my new glasses and I wore them for about a week trying to get used to them before i realized my vision was still blurry. I called and the lady told me that she had given me the same exact prescription as before! After I had told her I couldn’t see so why would she give me the same one. She then told me to come in to fix it and she said that my vision with the glasses on are 20/20 and she doesn’t know what’s wrong. It clearly is not 20/20 if i still can’t see! They have no idea what they’re doing.
I always buy $200 frames, eye exam was $49, lenses were $250. Total would have been $542 (After tax)I had a Groupon for a $250 store credit for the cost of $39. So I ended up having to pay $331.That was $40 more than I usually end up paying when I buy $200 frames -- And thats with a $250 store credit ... okay...The optometrist there was a nice guy, my glasses were cleaned with a paper towel and she explained that as long as the glasses are wet then they dont get scratched. I didnt complain because I figured if she scratches them them Im not paying for them :) But they didnt get scratched!3/5 stars -- basically what I would have expected from buying glasses.
DO NOT GO HERE. Both ladies behind the counter have no idea what they are doing. Took 10 weeks and countless calls hounding them to get my son’s glasses. Took them over a month to send in the authorization and 2 months to actually send in the order. Completely unprofessional. Staff is so ignorant it’s sickening. Save yourself a major headache and go somewhere else

***FRAUD ALERT***I was pricing around for contacts, got a reasonable price. They ask of inhabe insurance so they can check my benefits. A few days later foundnout they order the contacts and glasses for me. I never ordered them or agree to order them. They have FRAUDULENTLY processed this order through my insurance! Please becareful! Do not go here!!
My daughter went here and had a terrible experience. Very unprofessional; she was told they were open until 4 on Saturdays, she went there at noon to pick up her glasses and they were closed. When she was finally able to pick them up, they used A PAPERTOWEL to clean her glasses. Anyone who has ever owned glasses knows you are not supposed to use paper towels to clean them. They also BENT her glasses without using a frame warmer, which could have caused them to break. They placed the glasses on the counter and said they were straight, meanwhile everyone knows its not how they lay on the counter, its how they sit on your face. We are trying to find the number to a corporate site to complain, but nothing comes up when you google them. DO NOT GO HERE. If you have Davis Vision insurance, you should go to Davis Vision/Visionworks on 112 - I wish we had known that sooner.
***FRAUD ALERT****INSURANCE FRAUD***Grossly overcharged for an exam not covered by insurance ~tried to get an additional copay for something that was already included in the initial copay- Also did not apply money paid day of exam to insurance company - MAJOR SNEAKS AND LIARS~DO NOT GO HERE~
I like this place.
