First time client and very happy with the level of service and attention. I was able to get an appointment within a day of calling with Dr. Drizik. He was very pleasant and gave me a thorough exam. My prescription changed so I decided to purchase new frames. I worked with Umberto Rossetti to pick new frames and to decide on type of lenses to get. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and explained all of the choices available to me. I appreciated his friendly demeanor and patience during this process. Overall I strongly recommend both Dr. Drizik and Umberto. You wont be disappointed!

I want my $45. Needing an eye exam, I booked an appt online for Saturday at 1:00. I showed up and the receptionist told me it would not be covered by insurance since they only cover one per year. I explained I just needed a prescription and asked what it would cost me out of pocket. She said they could do a refractive exam for $50. I agreed to that. They examined my eyes and charged me $95.Response to reply: You cant quote people one price and charge them another price, almost 100% higher. Youre right, there was misunderstanding - between you and Christine. And thats why she offered me the refractive exam. Employees make mistakes all the time. Whats interesting and relevant here is that you chose the recoup the cost of that mistake from the wallet of a stranger.

These guys are FANTASTIC. Got contacts and glasses through them. Dr. Drizik was thorough and patient in making sure I had the absolute best contact fit and prescription. As for the glasses, I told Umberto what I was looking to spend and he set me up with the best looking frames I think Ive ever worn. He was able to cut my lenses immediately and I was out the door with my new glasses within 15 mins of picking out the frames. Definitely the best experience Ive ever had at an optometrist.

Great experience at Drizik Eyecare. The office manager, Umberto Rossetti, and Dr. Drizik made sure I was comfortable and were both extremely kind and helpful throughout my visit. Dr. Drizik was patient and attentive during my exam and answered all of my questions and concerns. I ended up trying on numerous frames, and both Umberto and Dr. Drizik helped me select frames that looked best on me. The frames that I ultimately fell in love with were a little more than what I was planning on spending, and Umberto helped me out to make them more affordable. Great customer service. They really care about making their customers happy and not just making money.

Great experience at Drizik Eyecare in Medford yesterday. I got an appointment quickly and had a comprehensive eye exam. Armed with an updated prescription, I was helped by Umberto to select frames. He quickly pulled a number of frames that were flattering to my face and made the decision much easier. Given my simple prescription, he was able to make my glasses on site in about 15 minutes. In full transparency, I had not visited an eye doctor in almost a decade. I turned to google and saw the high reviews for Dr. Boris Drizik and called in. From the very first engagement with the receptionist, I felt like a valued customer. Dr. Drizik provided an excellent exam, where you easily trusted his advice and recommendations. After completing the exam, the Office Manager spent almost a full hour after closing to help me pick out the perfect pair of glasses. It was very appreciative to have an employee take the time to go through various options in both style and cost, yet in the end be completely in the interest of the consumer. Once I picked out my frame, I was shocked when they said they could make the glasses right away! They had the supplies to create my perfect glasses from the frames I chose, with my lenses. Overall great experience. I would not only go back but would recommend to any friend or family member looking for eye care!

I was excited to find a local eye care provider, but although Dr. Drizik was very nice, he did administer a contact lens fitting without my consent when I had tried to make it clear that i was only there for eyeglass prescription update, and then changed the amount Umberto communicated previously. On my way out, Umberto was very pushy about selling their rather cheap-looking in-house eyeglasses...got a lot of questions about where I buy eyeglasses and how much it costs. It was just very unpleasant.I let that slide thinking it happened once and Id let it slide and not go back again. But I just attempted to order contact lenses (since I paid for the fitting) and I received another call from Umberto, quizzing me about where I was ordering from and why, before finally consenting to release the prescription. It seemed very shady to me.Ive moved around a lot and been to a great many different eye care providers--this was by far the worst experience Ive ever had. Super disappointed.

I decided to try this place because of all the stellar reviews. Though the staff was very friendly, I was surprised with the very nonchalant exam, especially when I was told that looks like you may have bleeding in your left eye, but maybe its nothing, with absolutely no follow-up.I was then talked into a very expensive pair of glasses which, at the time, I thought were going to be great and last me a while. When I came in to pick them up, the glasses had been sized way too big for me. I couldnt wait another week or so for a new pair, so I had them adjust them as best they could. Even then, they never fit without slipping off my face, and ended up broken in less than a year.I give them marks for friendliness, but thats about it.

After reading the many reviews I decided to give Dr. Driziks eyecare a try. To be honest, I am not quite sure what Michelle is really talking about as a bleeding in eyes can be caused by a popped blood vessel which can resolve itself. To me, he was trying to provide the best quality care while saving customers money. Ive been to offices where they called me back for a follow-up and charged me even though nothing was clearly wrong. But at Dr. Driziks office, I did not feel like he was in it for the money but genuinely cared. I bought a pair of glasses from him along with the bluelight lenses I wanted and he gave me a great package deal! My glasses were a bit snug where the bridge of my nose was but was offered same day service to get it fixed. I was instructed to call or come back if the glasses continued to cause any problems. Before leaving, Umberto had me stay for a few minutes to be sure I liked how the glasses fit. I did not feel rushed at all and was not hovered or felt pressured to buy glasses. If youre looking for genuine quality care where money is not #1 priority. I definitely recommend Dr. Driziks eyecare.

Dr. Drizik was professional and knowledgeable when it came to examining eye health. He uses top of the line technology and techniques...from the instantaneous text messaging to update you about your visit, to the machines and imagining he does when checking on your eye health. He is also personable and pleasant...he explained everything he was doing and reviewed my eye images with me, making sure I understood what I was looking at. Lastly his prices are also very reasonable. Support small business!

Excellent experience! I booked my eye exam for my mother and myself same day. It is a rare thing, our previous eye doctor’s office in Woburn has two months wait time. Now we found an amazing doctor who is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything. Dr. Drizik was very professional and was able to answer all of my questions with confidence. Despite there being a bit of a hiccup with checking my insurance coverage at the beginning of the appointment, I was put at ease by both him and his staff as things were quickly figured out. I ultimately found out I was slightly near-sighted, but did not need glasses on a day-to-day basis. However, he did not upsell me or push me to buy glasses in the store when there was a clear opportunity to do so. I believe this makes him a trustworthy medical professionals. Overall, I felt very comfortable with him and will go back there for my annual checkup, as I trust his judgment and appreciated his professionalism and his staffs friendliness.

Dr. Drizik saw me today for an eye exam for both contact lenses and glasses.Making my appointment couldnt have been easier - all I had to do was check the online calendar and sign up - no phone calls needed, thats a huge plus in my book!Check in was very smooth, and the team was able to find my insurance information very quickly.The exam itself was quick, but Dr. Drizik made a point to go the extra mile after the exam to help me gauge what strength contact lens I should move up to (if I wanted to move up at all). He pulled out two different sets of trial lenses and let me try them on right in the exam room and he spent a good 20 extra minutes with me trying to find just the right combination.Finally (and in my opinion, most importantly), Dr. Drizik didnt try to aggressively push any additional services/options/glasses orders on me after the appointment. He handed me my prescription, walked me through (at my request) what pricing would look like for a full set of contact lenses and my insurance, and made sure I didnt have any more questions.Overall, a pleasant experience with a knowledgeable doctor at a great price!

I had my first visit to Drizik Eye Care last month. I made an appointment with the eye doctor to get a quick eye exam to update the prescription on my glasses. I’ve always wanted to try contacts but was hesitant to ask for a proper training. Doctor Drizik was very patient and helped me learn how to quickly put them on and take them off. I could not be happier with the choice. I no longer have to switch between my eyeglasses and sunglasses, saving me tons of headaches. I recommend anybody in Woburn/Stoneham area needing a new doctor to use Dr. Drizik.
