My fiancée and I came here to purchase our wedding rings. The manager Eric helped us through the entire transaction and it was nothing short of amazing. We had a trade in and he did all the paperwork fairly quick for the amount their was. He got my current ring from another store and it was everything I ever expected and more. I would highly recommend this store and will be back for sure!

We stopped by here first when I was looking to replace my wedding ring that I had lost (I am that guy, I know! The lost ring was recently found and returned though) I only wanted a simple classic gold wedding band. I was greeted by a very friendly and charismatic individual named Peter. He showed me exactly what I was looking for and assured me that the rings I was in the market for that Kays had the best price around and he had even just scoped out the jewelry store across the way and the very ring I was looking at they were selling for $200 more. It didnt even cross my mind that he might not be telling me the truth.Maybe because what I was looking for was so straight forward that the thought of someone not being straight with me about it was the reason I never doubted the information Peter had given me. I dont know because I am usually not so trusting. Peter was so believable that I even pushed back on the idea of walking the 30ft across the to just see when my wife presented it .After a couple of minutes I agreed to check out Rogers & Holland and was once again met with a very kind and charming woman who showed me the same exact ring that was priced $200 less than Kay jewelers! I felt incredibly embarrassed about how naive I was by believing that Peter surely wouldnt sell his integrity for something as little as a commission of it simple gold ring. I also felt very fortunate to have a smart wife who looks out for me.Now I dont know what sort of ethics anyone else who works here has, but Peter is a master in manipulation and knows how to make you trust him and feel good and safe while lying and not truly giving customer service but its really only self service that is his goal. Getting what he wants which is the most money he possibly can without you seeing thats his sole goal and Peter wont let ethics or integrity hinder him in order to achieve it.I am willing to pay a little more if a place has great customer service (Honestly cares), is honest and upfront with me, etc. If you arent offering a better price than make it up by being better at things that will make people come to you because you have raised the bar and develop a reputation that people trust. Be better than the rest of the competition is the only sustainable way to do it in my opinion.Peter made a fool out of me and now I am not a customer. I truly hope that you realize that you can succeed in an ethical way. You should expect more from yourself and dont let my experience with you be the definition of who you always will be.

I bought my engagement ring here after looking at numerous other places, including online, for something specific. They had a lot of options and were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. And I never felt like I was pushed into something (what I hate most about salesmen!) Instead they helped guide me in the right direction. I came back here after exploring more (as I’m sure they knew I would) because nothing else was comparable. By far this was the best experience I’ve had at a jeweler. Not all Kay’s I would say the same thing about. But this place I’ll be returning to for sure. I had a sizing issue at another place, this location took care of it and quickly so my fiancé could finally show it off. I’m very grateful for them and would recommend them for anyone. Oh and most importantly, she absolutely loves her ring!

DO NOT COME HERE! BEWARE!I came here January 28th on a whim to see if they could fix a watch link and to also clean a very old family heirloom ring. BIG MISTAKE!!They are inexperienced and will lie to your face about what stones you have in your piece.I was here for over 2 hours because while the associates begun cleaning the ring, one of the diamondss disappeared. Mind you this ring and its stones are over 40 years old and has been passed down to me. This was all explained and they knew the fragility of the ring. It didnt stop the younger associate from pressing hard on the stones while testing them.Luckily while internally fuming at the thought that they lost one of my gemstones, I saw that the diamond had fallen inside of the ring.Long story short: while cleaning a family heirloom, they lost a 40+ year old diamond in my ring. Eventually noticed it fell inside of the ring and is still there. The store manager offered me to have it fixed for free at heir live setting event. He never called and kept his word.DO NOT COME HERE! READ THE REVIEWS! SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE!Update: 9-3-2021Took my ring to the original makers, Goodmans jeweler near the capitol. The experienced jeweler there confirmed in my ring were 2 point diamonds.The inexperience of Kayes jeweler and deceptiveness tried to tell me the stones were moisenite.

I went to Kay jewelers yesterday. There were many customers who were being helped. I waited for 15 minutes, looking around at the beautiful designs. I think they need more staff to help the customers. After waiting to had to leave as it took too long. I wish I got a chance to buy jewelry here. I love their advertisement, ‘Every Kiss begins with Kay’. They have financing offers too.

We’ve worked with Andrew multiple times and he is the best!!! He works with us and does everything he can to help. Anytime I go in the store I get excited to see him working. Peter was also helping us tonight and he was VERY nice. Great customer service all around. It was wonderful working with them both. We went in to get a piece cleaned and ended up buying another! Peter is great! He connects with you and your family. Peter gives you his full attention and best service possible, that quality of good customer service is hard to find these days. Peter has great customer service skills and very knowledgeable about his products. Peter does not peer pressure you to buy anything and he also learns your taste in jewelry to speed up the process. Anything he does he makes sureIt’s done properly and takes his time. Even something simple as cleaning our rings he takes his time makes them beautiful again. I recommend coming to east side mall visit peter and his store!

I am INFURIATED with them! First they say that to enlarge my moms ring it will cost a little over 200 bucks. Then they turn around and say that its going to be over 700. Cool. I got my ring back and went across the store to Rodgers (will be writing a review for that place too.) My fiance was going to get a ring from here too. We waited three or so weeks before finding out that they NEVER ORDERED THE RING! So we cancelled and again, went to Rodgers.Skip to yesterday. My fiance gets his credit card bill AND KAYS CHARGED HIM 200+ DOLLARS FOR SHIPPING!HE CANCELLED THE SHIPPING BEFORE THEY EVEN CALLED IT IN!Now hes on the phone trying to get his money back but they keep on hanging up on him when he dares ask. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE HAVING MONEY STOLEN FROM YOU!

I ordered an engagement ring last fall and gave it to my fiancé around Christmas since that time she’s had that ring on her finger for a week. It’s been nothing but a hassle. Customer service made promises and guarantees and didn’t deliver. Upgraded to a different ring where diamonds won’t fall out and came back and said it couldn’t be done but the corporate office said it could be done and it will be done in a month. It will be my last trip. At least to this location.

My husband and I wont shop anywhere else for jewelry. Denise has always treated us exceptionally and is now affectionately referred to as our diamond girl. She was one of our favorite guests at our wedding. We love her and if you want someone that will take good care of you, go to Kays at East Towne Mall in Madison, WI and ask for Denise. Terrible experience!!! Placed an order for a ring back in December 2018 to be custom made! Called and called checking the status to see if it was available for pickup yet only to call late February and find out that they canceled the order back in January after I had already paid a $100 deposit on it. Called to speak with the manager to figure things out and he just kept giving excuses of him being confused and saying he would reach back out to me within a week. Another month goes by and I am furious. Never got a call back no nothing. I call to speak with the same manager who admits to “forgetting” to call me back and offers to give me a in store refund and gift card for the trouble. Says to just stop it and it will be up front waiting for me to pickup. I go in today, tell the sales rep the managers name and that he said I could just stop in for the refund. Without her even turning around to check for the receipt she immediately says no! There is no note about a refund for anything you will have to come back another day when a manager is in. I then asked her if she could just check the desk area that is where he told me he would leave it and she replied “look there is nothing I can do for you, you can get mad all you want but I am not doing anything!” Their service sucks and staff are extremely unprofessional. I have reached out to corporate as well. There is absolutely no reason why my order from December still is unresolved and it is mid May.

Went here because I feel in love with a ring for my mom. It was one of the open hearts collection. The first time I walked in the store all of the associates ignored me. So I walked away to another jewelry store. After not finding anything I returned to Kays because my heart was set on this ring.A female sale associate working around 3pm on 5/5/2015 greeted me with a rough you need help?Being younger and looking physically younger than I am, I am used to people treating me like I dont deserve their help. However, this really bothered me because Ive been so in love with this ring for my mom.After quick conversation, I could tell the lady was not interested, we determined that the ring I wanted was not an option because it didnt come in yellow gold. The lady asked me my price range and I told her and she literally scoffed at me, stating You wont get anything in that price range.I was shocked at the way she said it and how she was looking at me. The way I was treated there was horrible and I will be sure to warn my friends (who are young like me) not to go to a place that age discriminates.

Called for help with with the way my name is set up in their system and got a very rude and snotty sales person on the phone. Was trying to explain my situation and could tell he wasn’t listening from the get go. Then after he gave me the run around and had me call various other places to fix the situation, I called him back, only to realize that he could have fixed it in the first place had he actually listened. Yet instead of apologizing, as an employee should to a customer, he tried to push the blame back on me and got very snippy. I have had the WORST experience with Kay’s over the years, from the quality of the jewelry to their poor customer service. I will NEVER shop there again!

My husband and I went in to send my engagement ring in to be fixed for a loose stone. While we did have to wait a few minutes for an associate to be free (there were other customers) we didnt mind waiting our turn. Once an associate was free they immediately helped us and took the time to explain all of our options. They easily answered how much it would cost and when exactly we could expect the ring to be back. They were all extremely helpful. And as an added bonus we received a hand written thank you note from them thanking us for purchasing the warranty plan and for trusting them to repair our ring. Definitely a good experience and will be going back to them for any future care.

I am so absolutely disgusted by this place. My husband had a custom made engagement ring made for me this spring. The manager of the store told my husband he would get a $1000 discount for having it made or whatever(I obviously wasnt there to hear this conversation directly). They screwed up his order 3 times, then the manager got pissy with him because he said he couldnt come in within the week to deal with the discount because we were out of town taking care of his sick mother(who died a month later). Guy said fine, come in when you get back. We went in and guy said he was going to do the discount. We get a call a couple months later saying we were late on payments and the guy never gave him the discount. He set up automatic payments with them 4 times! They have been calling saying we are late. WELL last week my husband got a call saying we were $1000 behind in payments. so he of course made the payment and told them he set up auto pay multiple times and they told him that he didnt. I went to to check my bank account because I swore that I have seen their name on my statement...They HAVE been taking our payments!!! AND THEY ARE SAYING WE ARENT PAYING! I am so absolutely disgusted and mad at this horrible company! What a scam these people are. I wish we would have went with a totally different company from the start.

Disappointed beyond all means. Ive had my wedding band for 6 years, went it to have it fixed because it is under warranty when I have it inspected every 6 months. I had it inspected 2 weeks prior to a diamond falling out. When she went to look under the scope she says looks like its been gauged. I said, well thats impossible. She proceeded with its wear and tear. She basically was blaming me for the problem. We were ignored initially when me and my girls walked in. When I went to give her my info she couldnt find me in the system and yet again proceeded to make me feel as though it was my fault. She said, did you buy it here? I said yes we bought it here. She still couldnt find us in the system....totally ridiculous experience!! She was rude and insensitive! I hate that I have to keep going back to get it inspected. If I could give minus scores totally would! Management needs to address these issues at this location! Uncalled for and unnecessary!

I made the mistake of buying a ring from Rogers and Holland. The headstone is a sapphire. It kept falling out of the setting. Rogers and Hollands were horrible when taking my ring in. It was like they thought I was taking the stone out myself. I brought the ring over to Kays and they fixed it and I havent had a problem since. Lesson learned. I now get all of my jewelry from Kays.

So I found ear rings and brought them in to check the legitimacy of them. Peter Ivers tested them, and we found out they were only C. Z. Sad they weren’t real, but he offered to clean them and put them in a nice container. That and he gave the Lady I was with Chocalate. Hook line and sinker, didn’t pay for anything and he took care of us as if we did. I’m going there when I decide to buy a ring!

Terrible experience. I went in to look for an engagement ring and the salesman kept trying to sell me a ring that was way out of my budget, and also tried to sell me additional items that I didnt want. Then, this same salesman runs my credit to find out if I was qualified for financing and the next thing I know I get a credit card in the mail. Now I have to take care of cancelling a card I didnt even want! Go to Rogers and Hollands that is located across the hall in the East Towne Mall if you want a good experience.
