A friend commissioned a pendant for me. The artist was Jackie and she designed such a lovely piece in titanium. I had never had a piece of titanium jewelry and I love it so much I wonder how Ive lived as long as I have without a piece of jewelry made of this beautiful metal. I love how the various colors of the metal are highlighted as light plays over it. She has etched a beautiful design that is complimented often. The precision of her etching is very impressive. My friend had an inscription put on the back of the necklace. Its very legible and easy to read. As a matter of fact I examined it closely with a magnifying glass and her lettering is just perfect.Jackies work has impressed me so much that Im working with her now to design a ring that I intend to wear and leave as an heirloom for my daughter.

Jackie at Jewelers Workshop made the wedding ring I dreamed of. Beginning with using both the white and yellow gold from my original ring and ending with a design that incorporated my vision. When she said she would make leaves out of the white gold, I trusted her confidence even though I couldnt imagine how she would do it. Theyre so delicate and catch the light like gemstones....adding to the sparkle. Thanks to her artistry it went beyond my expectations.I wanted a ring that was a reminder of what my marriage means....from the hint of a heart shape for love to organic sense of growth....it was all there in a small piece of wearable art.AND the topper, Jewelers Workshop found the alexandrite stone I wanted to add to the ring. This place was really awesome. I just started the process with them, but their service and willingness to help me (when I really dont know what I want or what Im talking about) was superb and Im glad I came by. Im hoping the rest of the process goes equally smoothly. Definitely satisfied so far, Rab was excellent.

I brought in my mothers wedding ring to talk to the person that specializes in restoration. The ring is close to 70yrs old. It was not in great shape and when she gave me the breakdown of everything I could tell she really didn’t want to do it. She said a 3D print of the ring would be cheaper and better. I took it to a jewelry place in IL where my sister took the matching band and spoke to their restorer. Not only was it half the price, he was truly excited about the process and also said that if they offered to 3D print it that meant that they could not do the work. I would have appreciated that honesty in the beginning. Just do your research and make sure to take to several places to consult.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Went in for an engagement ring. Nothing spectacularly impressive, but they had just what fit her. And a fair price for high quality choice. They really wanna get something that helps you, so just giving them some background helps them find the right piece for you. Phenomenal. 👍👍

I was not a jewelry lover. Just wanted to propose the old-fashioned way. I wasnt sure what I was doing, nor what exactly I wanted. I walked in here and almost immediately was talking to an artist. I stumbled my way through what I vaguely wanted, and she patiently worked her way through my design and drew something I knew my girlfriend (now fiance) would love.I had planned to propose a very short time after my walk-in (Im not a great planner), but she managed to finish it in time regardless. I first went to Jewelers Workshop because I had a concept for a mens ring. Jason is extremely knowledgeable about gems and precious metals, so he was able to guide me through the design process and help me select quality gems. Jackie worked her magic creating the ring and it turned out even better than I imagined. I have it with me always. I recommended JW to a friend and he now has a custom ring he designed and loves it. Ive bought ready-made jewelry there as well and the prices are always reasonable. I have another ring in mind that I want designed and there is no other place Id go. Their jewelry craftspeople are extremely talented. If you go in for an appraisal, they are going to be quite straightforward with you, which can at times be sobering if you have a sentimental piece or a family heirloom, but Id rather hear the truth than be patronized. JW has been a Madison institution for decades and with good reason - they know what theyre doing.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. They inspected my vintage ring before resizing it to identify any potential problems at no charge. The ring was resized seamlessly and was ready before the scheduled finish date (bonus!). I would recommend supporting this small local business for repairs and resizing!

I recently took a ring into Jewelers Workshop that was 30+ years old due to a broken stone. They replaced the stone and they did a beautiful job. They helped me make a decision, with absolutely no pressure, on the replacement. I also took in a necklace to have the clasp fixed so that the hook would not slide down to the stone. Another perfect job.

I called to ask if they could work on a small repair to a very sentimental piece of jewelry. Of course she says. Bring it in and we’ll take a look at. Linda Carey was my go to person. Johnny did the amazing repairs. Everyone could not have been nicer. They took care of me as if I had the most expensive piece of jewelry in the store and it was far from it. After having my ring in need of repair in my jewelry box for three years it is finally back on my hand where it belongs. Thank you Jewelers Workshop.

Had my mother’s wedding/engagement set circa 1942 repaired. It needed multiple new prongs and the ring had broken between the diamonds—it was in pretty bad shape. Jackie repaired everything, including returning the ring to a circular shape vs. the oval disfigured one it was in. It looks as good as new! The repairs were done on time and on budget per their estimate. My heirloom can be treasured for many more years!

This place is amazing! My sister gave me a ring before she passed away and unfortunately the prongs broke and the stone fell out. The ring wasnt valuable and was in terrible shape but it had a lot of sentimental value. I asked a family member where I should take it to get fixed and she recommended the jewelers workshop. They put a beautiful purple stone in it, which was my sisters favorite color and made the ring look brand new. I cried when I got it back because it was so beautiful. Am I the only one that feels the Jewelers workshop just isnt up to the standards when Richard owned it? I went in to get my Mothers 50 year old necklace restrung (I had it done there before and Jason Braden (son-in-law) told me that is was probably a Michaels project. I was quite hurt and he then proceeded to say even our high end clients have costume jewelry. I went back to the store and discuss with another jeweler what had happened to me and said I would not be coming back. I had been going there since they were on State St. Next day Jason called me and said he had a bad cold and his head what hurting and he just didnt feel good that day. Whatever. I never received that kind of service from RIchard and I will find a new Jeweler. I have to check one star to post, it doesnt even deserve that.

She assessed the damage, added secure prongs to the diamond, and improved the profile on the bottom edge where my finger bends. It has improved the comfort. This place is great! I went in to replace the battery in my watch, and as I was standing at the counter a ring caught my eye. It cost a fraction of what I would have guessed (Its gorgeous!) so I had to buy it. I come in from time to time and they clean it (free, of course) and the staff is always so wonderful and friendly. One person fixed the clasp on a vintage necklace for no charge. That meant a lot to me as the necklace had belonged to my late mother. This unique shop is highly recommended!

The ring I envisioned needed to be crafted perfectly because it was to be a reminder of why I am leaving everything behind to move to Peru. Jackie Goetz was given the task of designing my ring. Having shared the story behind each element of the ring, Jackie listened intently and then began drawing. The sketch alone brought tears to my eyes. She had captured on paper the words conveyed by my heart. When I received the call that the ring was ready, my heart would not stop beating fast. Having prayed before getting out of the car, I walked in and saw that my vision had become a reality. The needle was on point, pun intended. The sword was detailed, and the raindrop changed in the light like water in the sun. They are awesome titanium bands that give the feel of running water, with fallen leaves, and stars shining. Seriously!Jackie also made a dear friends engagement and wedding ring - hers is an opal set in platinum that somehow looks like the flowing waters of the ocean. Simply stunning. THANK YOU, Jackie! My wife and I purchased new wedding rings while we were in Maui for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Thank you, Jackie and James, for remaking a destroyed 100 year-old ring. You have the skill and expertise to recreate a handmade, highly detailed ring that meant the world to me; it was lovingly fixed by a household member, and then the fix went too far. Jackie and James took my anniversary ring, examined it very closely, and made it again, brand new. The new ring is exactly as beautiful, and the band will be far stronger. Realize that quality workmanship and excellent customer service IS within your price point!My fiance and I happened to be in Madison. We had been looking for a unique matching wedding set. I looked up their website, and saw a lot of the interesting rings we had been seeing online.While they are a small shop, they have a large selection. We found a ring we had settled on- but then Jackie came over to us.At first, I thought we might get a bait and switch... Instead, what happened was magical. She let us know that the rings we had settled on were not truly for wedding bands, but occasional rings instead. They would disappoint a few years in. Not but quality, but the nature of the materials. She introduced herself, and I recognized that she was one of the artists/metal smiths from their website. (I need you to check out her talent!)Now, while I was star struck at meeting someone who could create like her- I was on guard at first. I mean, who believes they can afford to commission an artist to create jewelry for them??! We looked at her work, some more of the stores pieces, and then- she showed us exactly what we wanted. It was an inspiring, unique set! We didnt settle on this set like we did the first- Jackie had a connection with us and somehow knew this was it. I literally cried, my fiance was awe struck. And, me being budget conscious, was shocked it was well within our price point!!!We had to continue to work with her via email on the set- her correspondence was constant, immediate, and you could feel her heart going into her work for us. She was patient with our busy schedules to get back with her a couple of times, too.Truly, it was Kismet that we came in and met Jackie. It is like nothing else in the world to be able to look at our rings (for the rest of our lives) and see her inspired and beautiful work that uniquely represents our lifelong, loving partnership.Thank you for all you did for us Jackie (and everyone involved)!!!

My Fiance and I know very little about jewelry. Its never been a big thing for us. But he describes the experience of working with this team to be wonderful, thoughtful, and accommodating. When I went in after to have the ring sized, they could not have been more lovely, answering all my questions without making me feel silly for asking. We might have to become jewelry people so we have more excuses to shop here :) Oh, and of course, the custom ring they created is STUNNING.

Jewelers Workshop recently created custom engagement and wedding rings for my fiance and I. Rab Bauman was the jeweler that created all three rings for us. We couldnt be happier with the outcome. Rab did a great job working with us to design the rings. He communicated very well during the entire process. The cost of the rings was reasonable. I will be back for more jewelry in the future!

I had an antique wedding band hand engraved by Jackie! It has a leaf and vine design on the outside of the ring....and the design was very worn! Now it looks like a brand new ring and the design really stands out! Beautiful job!

Last winter, my husband and I asked Jackie Goetz to design a ring (for me) to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The ring became a deeply personal story; without going into gory detail, it evolved into a ring with various numbers of tiny diamonds to represent Platos numbers corresponding to male, female, and marriage (and then began to represent various other events in our life). The ring is stunning, an Art Deco inspired rose gold band deeply carved with tiny vines and leaves... I was just at the MFA in Boston and saw jewelry of the same caliber. I was proud to be wearing my ring. I appreciated Jackies sensitivity to our story. At some point, objects leave their original owner and have to be chosen, or not, based on the merits of their own beauty... I feel sure my daughters and grandbabies and future generations will want to wear this ring as much as I do.

Couldnt have had a better customer service experience. Jasons expert eye was quick to recognize a mistake made by another jeweler who started to resized my wedding band, but apparently, didnt finish the job. Five minutes later, Jason had fixed it and I walked out with a properly-sized band. My partner is having her wedding band designed and made at Jewelers Workshop, and theyve been more than willing to work her, even on a tight time frame. Well definitely be back again.
