If you are in the market for a used car, this is the place to go to!! Dave Jaworski is by far the best car salesman I have ever dealt with! I had stopped in there briefly initially just perusing the lot. Dave came out and greeted himself very politely and asked what I was in the market for. They did not have exactly what I was looking for on the lot at that time, but Dave got my information and let me know that he would contact me if something came in. Within a matter of a week or two, Dave contacted me to let me know that they had something in that will work for me. Dave was extremely quick to get back to me with all my questions via text and email. I had stopped in and took a look at the vehicle. Dave was very thorough in the way he presented the vehicle. I decided to purchase the vehicle. Shortly after purchasing it, I did have a small issue with the radio system in the car. I informed Dave of the issue, and he was right on it to get it resolved as soon as possible for me. Within a matter of a week or two, Dave had made sure that they got a replacement radio system for me and installed it in the car at no charge for me. Most used car dealerships would not do that for you. Dave and Smart Motors are by far the best company Ive ever purchased a vehicle from!!

I recently sold our family car to Smart Motors Used Cars. We are regular customers of Smart Motors for oil changes and inspections. In selling the RAV4 car, TJ was honest, knowledgeable, compassionate and easy to work with through the entire process. He gave us a very competitive offer compared to other appraisals. I would highly recommend considering TJ and Smart Motors when deciding to sell your used car.

Overall, I had a great experience working with the team at Smart Motors Used Cars. Our salesperson was Jessica. She was great! We are the type of purchasers who know what we are looking for and dont want a salesperson thats pushy and overbearing. Jessica made it clear that she was interested in helping find what we were looking for from the get go. We gave her make and model information and general pricing ideas. We never got a pushy call from her letting us know that there was a car on the lot that would be a great fit for us (albeit $5,000 over our budget). She let us test drive a few other options for comparisons sake and didnt communicate that we were wasting her time.In fact, Jessica was so great that we waited for around 4 months to purchase a vehicle just so we could do business with her. She was helpful leading up to the delivery and was very responsive when I reached out to her a few days after delivery with a question. This showed that she wasnt interested in only closing the deal and then forgetting about us. She even had a surprise for us on the day we took delivery.The reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the finance manager we worked with. He tried to sell us gap insurance and an extended warranty, which didnt catch us off guard as this is common practice. What did catch us off guard was his method. He attempted to only provide three purchase options - one with only gap coverage, the second with only the warranty, and a third with both. There wasnt a fourth option, which would have been the refusal of both.When I pointed to the blank space on the page and suggested that I wanted option four his countenance changed immediately. He wasnt the friendliest guy to start with, but he suddenly became like a sullen adolescent who wasnt getting what he wanted. My wife and I did a side glance at each other because it was so awkward and the rest of the meeting with him had a rainy cloud over it.I would definitely go back to purchase a vehicle with Jessica and the used car team at Smart, but I would see if there was a way I could work with a different finance manager.

My Fiance and I needed a new vehicle and we must have visited 5 dealerships. All of which seemed to put on a show for us. Then we met Phillis and the sense of community and family at Smart Motors. We can honestly tell you we won’t ever be using another dealership. They were up front and honest and Phillis even helped our friend get a car loan which nobody else would even attempt to help him! Now we’re back at work and loving our new-to-us Honda CR-V! It’s now 5 days post buy and the vehicle wouldn’t start and I called phillis. Right away they told us to have it towed to them and they are covering all the fixes! So thankful! Shop Smart Motors!

Over priced !!!! Not worth your while !!They really did not have much of a selection of used cars but that’s likely the case for many dealers nowadays, however, what I thought was a major negative are several thingsThey did not seem eager to welcome you or willing to negotiate a reasonable price, after trying to negotiate a small amount on more than one car they kept trying to convince me their price is one if the best within xx miles range, they will pull reports and show you other cars from other dealers and such to convince you you have a good deal from them I was not convinced and finally went it east side Toyota, they just seemed more honest and straight forward, they also had a much better selection of cars to pick fromI actually ended up buying a brand car from east Madison Toyota for almost the same price of the same car at smart motors 3 year old carOverall I learned don’t waste your time with smart motors, they are stuck up and will cost you more than other dealers in the areaGood luck !

Ray and Lee did a good job helping us get to price we wanted to pay for our vehicle. Both are pretty friendly. Ray answered pretty much all our questions. The only down fall would I would say is they ran my credit 6-7 times to find best rate even though I asked them to limit to 3. Either way nothing I can do now but our vehicle is nice and we are happy with it. Even if they try to up sell you or you aren’t happy with something be sure to speak up and stick to what you told them. Very happy we did that and didn’t settle for something that isn’t affordable.

I was attempting to sell my car to Smart Toyota, its an older vehicle needing minor repairs. I needed to tow it to their location to have it appraised and was reassured multiple times that they would be willing to buy it. I paid to have it towed to their location just to have the manager tell me they were no longer interested. I realize the car is almost 20 years old and probably not worth much. I can confidently say they would have taken the car if I had been willing to put it towards a trade-in, but prior to ever mentioning that as an option I was still encouraged to bring it in to be sold. This was a bad experience for me and I hope others consider this before attempting to sell them a vehicle

I get my Toyota Highlander hybrid serviced here. I can stop in without an appointment and get an oil change, tire rotation, car wash, and safety inspection for $60. Pricey, yes, but the dont try to sell service I dont need and they know their hybrid product. Friendly folks, nice waiting area, even if you have the kids with you.

I brought a vehicle to potentially sell as they encouraged me they would be able to buy it outright for a good price. This dealership is nowhere near my home so went out of my way to do so. They took my vehicle for a test drive and briefly listed some random prices they thought they could give me but nothing set in stone. I was told they had to do some homework and would be emailing me later that day. Well that was over one week ago.I have emailed the buyer along with the manager multiple times with no response. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. If they can’t simply respond back to an email or have the decency to say something just won’t work I would never trust purchasing a vehicle through them.Customer service is truly dead.

I bought a new car elsewhere and they didnt give a particularly good trade-in offer. Smart was quick and easy to work with in getting a better appraisal, and overall the selling experience was hassle-free.

Staff were very helpful and very friendly, but some of the questions they asked prior to a test drive seemed relatively strange. I knew what I wanted to drive, I didnt know why they needed to know the exact details of what I might, potentially, maybe do about a trade in. Before I even got in the car.Not to mention that the car I was interested in was incorrectly listed on their site - if you see something youre interested, its worth visiting in person to make sure its true.

The car was fine and they let us drive it without anyone tagging along but boy did they exude used car salesman. I probably would have bought the car but I didnt like their tactics so I wont buy from them.

Hardly SMART review no. 2So, after the battery fiasco which they were so not apologetic about. I ask them to fix the noise coming from under the hood. Since they already replaced the alternator thinking it could have been the problem, they tell me it was the airpump(which I had gotten replaced 2 months ago) . When I point that out, they now try to sell me that it could be the engine oil (which they changed). So, now it is the turn of the timing gear to be replaced since they have replaced every damn thing they “thought” was the problem. I take back my last review, I think they are “SMART” and we as are stupid (including me)

Certified preowned means nothing dont fall for the prices i just learned my lesson once your off the lot its your problem.
