Ive taken more than 10 bikes to Ryan over the last 3 years: from an 89 Gary Fisher to a 21 Yeti SB 140, and everything in between.No matter the day of the week, the bike, or the help I was asking for, Ryan treated me with respect. The repair was less than straightforward, and it turned into a bit of a project, but Ryan kept me informed and updated along the way. My bike has truly never been more smooth and quiet in ten years. Went in for a rear derailleur, left with a rear derailleur. It was the same price as it was online except I didnt have to pay shipping or wait, and (presumably) the owner urges you to come back if the first trip doesnt solve it. Refreshing. I highly recommend getting parts and tools here.

Ryan at NuLife has taken great care of my bikes. Recently he helped me create a custom build to help me manage some of my lower back issues but still get to ride. Couldn’t be more happy with the outcome. 10/10 would recommend!

Did a really great job on my bike tune up and repair.

We were in town from Wisconsin visiting my son and walked in to rent bikes. Staff was really friendly and helpful! Bikes worked great for us to roll around Longmont, and my wife loved Roscoe the Great Pyrenees. I would highly recommend this bike shop!!!!

Wandered in because I had gotten in over my head building a new bike.I got instant help, got walked through what needed to be done and the work done very quickly at a very reasonable price. The best part was the shop dog, Roscoe. The second best part was the complete lack of attitude that you get at most bike shops; the vibe was super helpful and low key with amazing service. Took my bike here to have my brakes fixed, tried to fix my self and made it worse lol, Ryan was awesome! Called me before proceeding with repairs that way I wasn’t surprised with the bill. He also looked over my bike to make sure everything was safe and found some things that he reported to me and of course I had him fix it. I highly recommend bringing your bike here even if you have minimal problems they’ll make sure everything is good to go!

Ryan and Brennan have worked on both of my bikes more than once when I couldnt fix the problem. They have been super helpful and the turn around is fast! Prices are affordable and Ryan does a great job explaining what is wrong with my bike and how to fix it. This is the best place to go hands down!!

Truly an amazing business. The owner is a true expert in his craft and will go the extra mile to assist your needs. Whether your bike is retro or new, it can be repaired without having to spend an ungodly amount of money. I came in looking for a shorter stem and he was able to address all of the problems that I was having with the bike after that initial transaction. In short, I will be coming back every time my bicycle needs something.

Fantastic work, they brought a dusty old bike Nu Life great options for the regular stuff like bar grips, pedals and saddles. This will be my primary shop for the foreseeable future. Dont get a garbage walmart bike for 150$, get a nice old one that hasnt been used in 10 years and bring it in to this shop and youll be hooked on cycling in no time.

Im extremely pleased that this shop has opened near my home. Ryan, the owner, is courteous, talented, fair, and a fun conversationalist. The stores mascot, Rosco, is a beautiful puppy. I dont say this casually. Just look at how well behaved and groomed he is, and youll get a feel for how Ryan does business. The shop tuned up my bicycle beautifully, and saved me at least 50% by offering me barely used parts for the cluster and chain ring that it needed. Ryan has a good selection of unique used bikes for sale at reasonable prices. Ive referred friends to his shop, and they tell me that they were impressed with the business. I took my wife to the shop to introduce her to our new bicycle mechanic. She shares my opinion of his character.

I’ve dealt with the owner several times in the shop and on the phone. The guy just genuinely cares and will do everything he can to get it right and have you rolling. It’s pretty wild actually. Ive been ripped off a couple times by bike shops since moving to Colorado, so it was refreshing to find this place. These guys are awesome. Reasonable prices and expert service. Great attitudes and super helpful.

I went into Nu Life Cycles on a Saturday asking for Ryan to fix up a used Park Jump bike for me. Him and his team worked on the bike until about 9:30 pm that Saturday night and it was ready for me to ride Sunday morning. I was blown away by the work ethic Ryan and his team put into my bike and it couldnt have worked out any better. Their service was amazing and they some pretty awesome dogs at the store, so bring a treat if you come visit!

This place Rocks! Couldn’t ask for a better local bike shop. Ryan was extremely friendly as soon as I walked in, took extra time to talk with me, and helped me find a new saddle for my bike. I then I asked about tune ups/repairs, and brought my bike in an hour later. He then took even more time to go over the bike with me and address what needed attention. They price everything affordably for your specific needs. High end bikes galore, mostly slightly used stuff that is a ton more affordable than new bikes you could spend much more on that wouldn’t be of as much value. I highly recommend checking this place out, for regular maintenance, or if you need a whole new ride. I will definitely be bringing all of my bikes here in the future. Had never been to NuLifeCycles until our old Specialized needed a tune up. I actually tried to go to a different shop on a Sunday first, but thank goodness that other shop was closed. Ryan and Brendan are are simply fantastic people. They did amazing work on the bike tune and fix saving me time and money that I dont believe any other shop would have. I will be a customer of their as long as Im living in the Northern Colorado area. They are honest, work quickly, do not pressure, have a great selection of bikes if youre in the market, and can fix just about anything you need. I found NuLife searching around to get an old frame powder coated. Ryan was super friendly and gave an incredible quote. When I brought my bike in he was lamenting about the new partner he had, saying that it wasnt up to his exacting standard and that was awesome to hear. We agreed to give the new shop a go with my old frame and it came out perfectly after some feedback from Ryan. Ive also seen other bikes from them and they are also awesome.I highly recommend NuLife and have even gone back to sell an old bike and anticipate doing a lot more business. Solid dude, solid service and excellent value .

The guy fixed my bike at a good price, he fixed my brakes that was broken and replaced my rusty chain with a new one, and fixed my bike very fast I would recommend this place for people to buy a bike, or for needing a bike to get fixed. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE😉🙂

Id give this place 10 stars if I could. I live in south Boulder and I traveled all the way to Longmont to buy my MTB and also for maintenance. Half the price of what you pay for snobby chain bike shops in Boulder but double the attention to details. Ryan really listens to you.
