I recently took my truck in to have the tires rotated and the rear break pads replaced. They told me it would take about an hour and a half. I came back two hours later and waited an additional 2 hours…4 hours total. It didn’t bother them at all, not even an apology or a discount for messing up my entire day. If you are going to pay on the higher end $ for repairs I’d recommend going somewhere else.

My battery was no longer holding a charge and it was about 2 years after Meineke in Helena Montana had installed a new battery.I called the Meineke located in Longmont Colorado and spoke with Justin, he said to bring the car in no appointment needed.After arriving at the store Justin greeted me and started the paperwork right away and had one of his techs get my car in a bay and start working on it.As expected the battery tested bad, they didnt have the battery in stock but was able to locate the battery at a nearby parts store which delivered it promptly.The new battery was installed shortly after and I was on my way!Great service and the wait wasnt too long, I will use this store again!

The store manager Justin was extremely helpful and polite and fixed our car and supplied recommendations that didn’t seem superfluous. The price was steep but all mechanic prices are steep so I’m not going to let that hinder recommending this place or returning to it myself.

They were very good about getting me into the shop quickly even though I didn’t have an appointment. The oil change was good but they took out my cabin filter and when they put it back in they didn’t do it correctly and it fell out as I was driving home!! Attention to detail may be lacking.

The buyer of my vehicle paid Meineke to inspect the car. The service tech performed a through survey of the issues and identified a few problems, some I wasnt even aware off. The guy was friendly and relaxed, even though there was 8 customers and only 2 employees. He took the time to explain the car problems and what should be done. I recommend this place.

Dear Meineke. Longmont ~ When I scheduled my appointment, I was clear that I needed the work done in that 1 hour time slot, stressing that I had time constraints and was told 1 hour would suffice to get my wheels aligned. When my appointment time came and went and your ‘running late’ technician still hadn’t shown up for work, that speaks to your credibility and the quality of services you provide. Whatever the reason that your employees can’t make it to work on time, if you cannot even manage honoring appointments, I imagine that the quality of your service is questionable at best. You will not be working on my car.

I had a scheduled 4pm time slot online and stood out front for 15 minutes while no one was seen to attend to the front. After another customer came in we both waited another 5 minutes before we started talking and commenting how we had not seen anyone. After that a rude attendant with the tattoo on his arm that read “family” finally acknowledged us, I said I made the appointment at 4, he commented that they closed at 5 and said that I’d need to leave it…OVERNIGHT FOR AN OIL CHANGE. I said “No I need it done today, that’s why I scheduled an appointment at 4.”He acted as though it were inconvenient to service my vehicle. Watching the employees in the garage keep going back and forth as though they kept forgetting things made me think they were smoking pot prior which explains why I was waiting for so long, and the behavior I was witnessing. During the oil change that took an hour he tried upselling me on an engine filter that they charged $35 for (prior to labor haha) where I myself could replace it for $16.84. When I said “No I’m not doing that.” He kept insisting on how dirty it was as if to change my mind, after the customer service I got there was no way. Then I paid and he commented on a noise I am well aware of when my car turns that I am getting serviced elsewhere, saying I would need to wait a week to have it attended to at the location I mentioned. Being told to leave my car overnight for an oil change I replied it would take a week here too where he admitted “Yea you’re right.”This employee was an idiot along with the others that kept repetitively pacing around up and down the stairs as if they could not keep track of what they were doing. I paid WAY too much for bad service and will NEVER be doing business there ever again. I had a good experience at this location when I was pregnant so tried it again during my postpartum where I was unable to physically complete the task myself but have since learned my lesson. I cannot second guess the professionalism of the work being done to my vehicle because of pothead behaviors I saw, my family’s safety is not worth it!

Mike has to be hands down the kindest person in this city. We moved to the area a few months ago and of course have had car troubles left and right ever since. Mike has seems to always go out of his way to make sure every time we stop in we know what’s going on and how it was fixed. Even when I come in not knowing what I’m talking about Mike steps right in and helps in every way. Very knowledgeable staff, very helpful and understanding, very professional. As someone who knows very little about cars, I came to Meineke hoping to be respected and not charged for something I dont need. However, I was taken advantage of and was scammed into an oil flush for SIXTY DOLLARS ON TOP of the $60 oil change. Not only this, but I noticed my car was not running properly and reeked of oil after I had brought it into the shop. When I lifted my hood to check on this I noticed the oil cap was left off and oil was spilling out. It makes me question what services were actually done since the main reason I came in today wasnt done correctly. Will not be returning and will be telling everyone I know about my experience and to stay away.

I took my vehicle in for an oil change. They broke the glove box, it won’t stay shut now. They couldn’t own up to what they did or try to fix it. BTW, the cabin filter access is through the glove box. Don’t go to this place, they aren’t honest.

Mike S. the manager explained what was going with my brakes, what the repair would fix and how much better the vehicle would handle. He was 100% correct. So much better handing than before. Nice location with lots of service options, competitive pricing, and friendly staff. The manager was a great help getting my appointment adjusted and my oil change was done with care and precision. Never have had an issue down the line and always trustworthy. From 0-100 gajillion miles they have you covered. Also the location has an Amazon drop box so you can pick up your 5 lb bag of Skittles while waiting for your car to be done.

Reasonable prices for oil changes and usually timely. I wish they had taken responsibility for damaging my oil pan drain plug and washer on a previous oil change last summer causing a leak instead of charging me to repair it. I also wish they would at least wear face masks while serving customers at the counter even if they don’t wear them to when working on the cars in the garage.

I got my 2003 Chevy Silverado repaired. The intake manifold gasket needed to be repaired. The check engine light was on and the engine was idling rough.They did a good job on the repair and I am thankful for that. They did a poor job on estimating when the repair would be done.Mgr told me it would be done at 10 am. Then he told me noon. Then 2 pm. It was finally done at 5:30 pm and I came at 2 pm and had to go home and come back at 5:30.I was very frustrated with the mgrs communication, but I will not take it out on this review. Rather I will just ask that you improve for future customers. Thanks!!!

I had made an appointment but they told me that they did not have the record in the system. The entire waiting area smelled like cigarette smoke. The gentleman at the front was not wearing a mask and did not make any efforts to put one on even though it is a state law to do so. They did not reset my oil minder as specifically asked in writing and vocally. I had to check and ask again when it was not completed. It was not a good experience. They did do the job at a great price.

I had a lifetime warranty on my muffler. The Meineke location I went to in Longmont Colorado did not want to do the service and said they do not do warranty work. I had to call corporate and get help to make them honor the warranty. They were not friendly and I would not recommend this location.

My daughter was having intermittent starting problems with her Saturn Vue. As I was not in a position to work on it for her, I recommended a shop I have used and trust. She took it here instead. Ive done enough auto repair to know the battery wasnt the problem. I had told her the symptoms she needed to tell them about. Instead of a proper diagnosis, they blamed the battery, and charged her almost $300 to replace it. Of course, it didnt fix the problem, but they wouldnt take the battery back or give a refund. They said they couldnt find any other cause, and couldnt diagnose it any further. Took it to another shop which found the problem right away. Loose, corroded connection between negative battery cable and ground. They couldnt diagnose a simple problem like that. Pathetic.

Service is not good at all... Theyre taking money for services they dont perform... I paid $86 for a full synthetic oil change package today. This is stated to include a 23 point inspection, brake inspection, tire pressure check/correction, and tire rotation among other things. Well the technician forgot to do a tire rotation, Honest mistake. I brought it up while they were sending me out the door and they obliged to have it done. After that was finished I asked if the 23 point inspection was performed, and the guy at the front desk told me yes it was, everything looks great... No form for the 23 point inspection was given to me which I know is not right, my brakes only have a little life left on them and I know that for a fact, and to top it off my tire pressure sensor warning was lit on my dash when I left. So I just paid $86 for a basic oil change... I would never recommend this service to anyone.Oh, and the technician never gave me my key fob. When I parked my car I realized this because my car was beeping at me so I searched my car for my keys high and low. Found them under my passengers seat. Pretty courteous of them!

We called on a Saturday morning with a muffler problem, were told to bring the car in and gave us an estimate on when they would call with diagnosis and cost of repair. Their garage was full when we dropped the car off, but Mike (manager) called within 2 hours, gave us a quote and said it should be done by 5:00. He called again at 3;30 to let us know the car was done. It cost exactly what he quoted and the car is running great ! Mike and his staff were friendly/professional and the waiting area was clean and comfortable (with a Kureg coffee maker) . They’re located right next to Whole Foods and the Twin Peaks shopping mall so there are plenty of places to hang out or shop while you wait . Thanks !

Being a younger person, this was my first time ever having a vehicle serviced. Based off of some promising reviews, I booked an appointment for my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which was due for a service and was having coolant issues. Mike was fantastic and understanding of the fact that Im not overly familiar with vehicle mechanics. He took the time to explain what they would do with my vehicle, and after the initial check over, he also explained what was going on and what the necessary steps would have to be. I felt I could trust everyone here to take care of my vehicle and do what was needed in order to get it running smoothly again. I definitely plan to return here in the future! Torre and another gentleman came to meet us where I needed to drop my horse and picked up my vehicle. My car died in the grocery store parking lot across the street. The guy at the front desk had a tech come over to jump start my car while he was waiting for the new battery to arrive. The car was completely dead, I couldnt even get the horn to sound.After about 15 minutes of them looking at my car (which I never asked them to do, it was the battery) the guy behind the desk comes out and tries to claim that I dont know how to properly start my 3 year old car that I have NEVER had this issue with before. He then went on to say I wasted their time when he could of sold me a $400 battery. He failed the attitude test and I let him know about it.I told the guy behind the desk I would NEVER spend $400 on a battery to begin with, maybe $125 tops. It literally takes 30 seconds to change a battery.Upset that he can no longer rip me off, the guy behind the desk then says I owe him $85.00 (judging by the other comments that seems to be their standard rip off fee) for a battery inspection. A battery inspection takes 15 seconds and these guys wanted almost a $100 for it.I told him that was absurd, so what does he do? He puts my keys behind the desk and refuses to give them back until I pay.I had no choice but to pay the ransom.Do NOT go here.

I walked into meineke thinking I was gonna have to get brakes. The team looked at my car and realized that my brakes were just fine. I had went to meineke for a second opinion because the first place told me that me getting brakes was urgent!! They could of told me that I needed to get brakes also, but they were honest! Failed to notice bad battery in pre-purchase inspection.Paid for a pre-purchase inspection of used car in October and they reported nothing needed attention. Already in November the car would sometimes not start--I figured I was just forgetting to turn off the lights. After all, and it couldnt be the battery since it was just tested. I drive the car only a couple times a month, and have put on barely a 1000 miles.When it failed again this week I finally took a closer look at the inspection report and saw that they failed to indicate the battery health and did NOT attach a battery test printout as the report said would be. (See attached photos) I had battery checked by another shop and they reported it was on its last legs, and had only worked as well as it did because the car is garaged.Called the shop to ask about the inspection and the employee said well, thats not my problem when I pointed out that no battery levels were not recorded nor test results attached.Yes, its my fault for not looking closer at the inspection report at the time. But I trusted Meineke. Now no more. They clearly failed to live up to their own testing standards. Given my experience, I strongly suspect the battery was not tested at all, and I worry what else they didnt check. I will be having the car inspected again in a different shop.EDIT: Spoke with manager, who maintained that while there is a 0-100% Battery Health section on their report, their computer system will not allow them to actually enter a number. Furthermore, he claimed it was impossible to know anything about a battery beyond good/bad. All I was looking for was a Oh, sorry we forgot to write it down, but our records show it tested as X%, but heres 10% off a new battery. or something similar. For them to double down on the impossibility of measuring battery health *at all* makes it impossible for me to trust them.

These guys do all our oil changes on both of our vehicles. The staff is courteous, prices are reasonable, and our cars are always ready when they are supposed to be. We occasionally have other work performed here (brakes, transmission flush, etc.) and its the same deal; good price and great service.
