Highly Recommended- This team is quick, efficient, and most importantly, honest- My car needed a water pump replacement, which was completed within a 2 day turn-around. Great service. I have taken 4 different vehicles here over the years and had nothing but good service. I had a Jeep Patriot that needed a new starter and they did a good job but 3 weeks later it wouldnt start again. Brought it back and meining stood behind their work and had to admit the starter was defective and replaced it at no cost to me.

I had 2 issues that could have been very expensive but Meining took care of both perfectly and cost was excellent. The first - non-working turn signal but only when warm out - fixed! Oil plug that local Lube Shop said was problematic - fixed! No nonsense or funny stuff (looking for other non-existent issues) Both items could have been a disaster to me in both time and money.

I have taken my personal and business vehicles to Meining Automotive for years. They are trustworthy and do great work! I kept trying to get them to replace my Tundras brake pads and they told me 3 times now, Mike, they are ceramic, they last 80,000 miles. Meining Automotive is one of the great auto mechanics in Boulder County. They are the best that I have found and I have lived in Longmont for 49 years. They are honest and will not try and up-sale services to you. If you have a question they will give you a very direct answer and not one to pad their bottom line. I have talked with other people who brought their cars to Meining and if they had several problems Meining would prioritize them so they knew which ones need to be fixed and which ones could wait a little while. There has been times when I thought there was an expensive problem only to fine Meining recommending a simple solution.I have referred people to them that need an advocate to help them out. This includes widows and single ladys that a lot of places take advantage of. Meining is not afraid to let you know if your car has be misdiagnosed by someone else. If I buy a car I will always take it to Meining for them to go over it and let me know if I will have any problems.Cant say enough about them, thanks for being there and never change. They are my mechanics as well as my friends...

We have used Meining Automotive since 1998 and have never had a bad experience. They are honest and do not do unneeded repairs. I trust them to do what is needed to keep my vehicle running its best. They also have done small things ASAP, such as when I stop in for a new tail light or wiper blade. They are always friendly, too. They stand behind the quality of their work and only once have I had to return a vehicle in the last 15 years, and they repaired on their dime. They referred me to someone else for exhaust work, and that gentleman advised me what else the problem maybe before he tried to sell and install new catalytic converters. You know they have vetted even their referrals for high quality and trustworthiness. I trust them 100% with my cars and those of my familys here in town.

Since we found Meining there is no other place,they are great to work with and since I use my vehicle for work, they do their best to get it back to me in a timely manner.

I took my 2004 Toyota Corolla in for spark plugs and whatever else it needed. Basically told them to look it over and let me know. They did check it over, but it only needed spark plugs, so thats all they recommended. My father was an auto mechanic and I worked with him for 9 years, so I know a bit about cars. The level of honestly at Meining is all I could possibly ask for. Its a great place to do business with!

It was 4:30 on a Friday, we were stuck in Salt Lake City with my sons 2001 Civic, in a panic we called Meining to see if they had a clue as to why the car would not move out of Park. Took our vehicle to Meining for a transmission issue. After having our car for almost an entire week, they came back to us with an “I don’t know” answer.After wasting our time with them we decided to try another shop in town and they figured out the issue in one day! Meining drug their feet on our issue and were highly unresponsive after calling them over and over again while they had our car and I was without transportation.Bill seems like a good manager but we were highly disappointed in his shop after this experience and will not be going back there.

Ive been taking my cars/trucks here for years and outside of their banker hours been impressed with their service. I even sent them several recommendations that became regular customers. So my commuter car had a problem and was informed by Ron that it would need a new engine or rebuild which cost more then it was worth. His recommendation was to junk it. I paid them to pull the pan and inspect the crank to see if it was repairable and was later informed that the crank had rubbed on the block and in their words trashed. I was skeptical that a Honda 4cyl. would need a new engine with only 160K miles so i paid another $175 to have it towed to another shop. While it went up on the lift i noticed the plate that housed the bearing hadnt even been removed so clearly they never inspected it. So this shop replaced the bearings for $450 and the car has been running like a champ over the last 10K miles. Had i listened to them a perfectly good car would have been junked......what a waste. As I no longer trust them I wont be returning.

They perfectly passed my BS detection system. My cars check engine light is perpetually triggered by a known problem that has no actual effect on my cars efficiency, safety, longevity, or performance. It would also cost hundreds of dollars to fix. I took my car in knowing this, for a routine engine check, without informing them of my knowledge. When I picked it up, they told me everything I already knew, not even attempting to push me for an unnecessary sale. Regardless of any other factor, they passed the most important aspect of car repairmanship--honesty. You can absolutely trust them with your business.
