We are Geo Massachusetts and had spent the night in the fairground. We had our oil changed a week ago in Scottsbluff, NE. Now the heat shield is loose and vibrating something aweful. We pulled into Best Autoamd they explained that they were extremely busy. But the manager said let’s go look at it and see if we do a quick fix or if you should make an appointment and return. The gentleman looked at it and said he could fix it with zip ties and we’d be fine till we get home. He reassured me that it was fine. And we are off to more exploring of this beautiful country.

I took my car in multiple times and got great service, at an honest price. Best Auto is not like other repair shops in that they don’t scam, and it feels like a friendship or family setting even. I had a great experience working with Best Auto Longmont to do an electrical repair on my Jeep. After initially calling a few places including the Jeep dealer to get estimates for diagnosing the problem I chose Best Auto Longmont based on their straightforward explanation and reasonable pricing. Scott and Shanti were very friendly and made the experience working with Best Auto Longmont as painless as getting an auto repair can be. They went out of their way to give great customer service and I was pleasantly surprised with the value I got on the total repair cost - just the opposite of the way I feel when I get my bill at the dealer service! I came away from the experience feeling like I had found a business I can trust and I will certainly take my vehicle there again in the future.

These folks are teriffic. They got the work done right, at a good price and on time. Best of all they really care and can be trusted. They have never tried to upsell me. They have worked on all three of my cars.

This happened about a year ago. Good customer service, but I got the runaround. My RAV4 had differential issues. I brought it in, paid them around $500 or $600 to fix the leaking. Not even a week or two later the leaking came back in the same exact spot. This time, they wanted $1500 to fix it!! And they werent even positive it would fix the issue. What did I waste the initial $500 for?? For them to fix it for two weeks??? Dont bother unless you need something very common fixed!

Total scam. Charged $900 and did not fix car. Wanted to replace entire brake system for $5000. Very unprofessional. Did not know how to find problem. Do not use this shop.

Brought my 93 Nissan pickup in to have oil starvation issue diagnosed after having replaced oil pump, and mentioned that I believed it was a clogged pick up tube but did not have the means to diagnose and repair in my garage.Diagnosis was the engine being started and immediately turned off, and telling me no repairs could be done, engine would need to be replaced. Disregarded my suggestions, no further inspection was done, and so the truck was brought home after $150 for nothing.Pulled the engine and dropped the oil pan myself, and the pickup tube screen was clogged, after a new engine was purchased.I could not recommend this shop less after my experience.

After 4-5 appointments, only good things to say about these folks. Ive had regular oil changes and maintenance for my Nissan Murano, as well as a catalytic converter replacement and some transmission work. Theyre professional, courteous, and easy to work with (they give me a ride home and pick me up to make the service process easier!). Carissa, at their front desk, gives the details straight and is always kind. Its a pleasure to do business with the Best Auto folks.

Super fast and quality install. I had a receiver/hitch installed on my 2018 Accord and it was done much faster than expected. Pricing was also unbeatable. A couple local shops quoted me 2x or more what these guys charged.

I have a son at CU Boulder who drives a Ford Escape that needed some work done. I live out of town so I looked online for a repair shop in the area that could handle a somewhat complicated repair (a failed O2 sensor because of a timing cover oil leak). The local dealership received mixed reviews and couldn’t get to our vehicle for 10 days. That’s when I found Best Auto in Longmont. From start to finish I received excellent service from the entire staff. They were able to schedule a diagnostic check of the problem the next day and started the repairs immediately. It was a labor-intensive two-day repair. The front desk staff (Sara and John) were knowledgeable and courteous and kept me regularly informed by email and phone about the status of the repair. The repair tech recommended a couple minor preventative repairs that took advantage of the labor involved and saved me hundreds of dollars in the long run. It is now a month later and the recurring issue (which was not accurately detected by several other shops) hasn’t given us any additional problems. And to top it off, since we needed transportation from Boulder to the shop (25-30 minutes away), both the owner (Gregg) and the manager (Mark) provided prompt door-to-door shuttle service. I would highly recommend Best Auto for any locals or CU parents looking for a repair shop in the area that they can trust to take care of their student’s vehicle.

I called and received a quote from Best Auto after hearing the $1,038 price tag from the dealer; Best Auto came in at $570. Based on all of the Google reviews, I thought I would give them a try. They fixed my truck for the price quoted and changed the differential fluid. As I was driving away, I heard a whirring sound that wasnt there before. They took the vehicle back in and did some investigation; turns out that there was an issue that was being masked and the addition of new (good) fluid caused the issue to resurface.Even though it wasnt their fault, Best Auto took it upon themselves to call the dealer and work with them to get the issue fixed under warranty. They took the truck over to the dealer, explained the issue, the dealer fixed it and Best Auto picked it up. They went WAY above and beyond what would be expected of them in any reasonable scenario. Ange was terrific in the whole process.I will bring my cars there from here on out and will strongly recommend them whenever someone is looking for a good, honest auto mechanic.

Everyone there is super friendly, they were very timely with my service and highly skilled work being carried out there. When something went wrong (installation issue with a blinker, nothing dangerous), the owner himself contacted me and gave me a full refund...something that does not happen at any other car repair shop I have ever been too. I highly recommend this shop; they truly do care about their work and customer satisfaction.

My car had been driving me crazy with a squealing/squeaking sound coming from around the drive belt. I couldnt figure it out so I took it here because of the high reviews. The front desk was very polite despite being busy and going out of their way to squeeze me into have my car looked at. They diagnosed the problem as a bad bearing in the alternator and they were right about that. The place seems to have great mechanics I have no doubt they couldve solved my cars issues. However, I think the prices are bit high. I was charged a little over $50 for a diagnosis and estimated an alternator replacement at $400. This is pretty high considering my vehicle has the alternator completely visible when you open the hood. I was able to install a new alternator myself in about 20 minutes. Overall, seems like a good place with friendly and knowledgeable staff, but the prices are a bit too high from other places Ive tried.

I had quite a bit of work done by them over a few visits. The folks at the desk dont communicate with each other very well, and I occasionally had difficulty getting ahold of them when i was told they should be there. Only one of them seems to know whats going on. They took a shortcut and zip tied my fan shroud instead of bolting it. When I asked about this, they said im not sure, he doesnt work here anymore, with a short apology. They didnt notice that my timing chain was leaking when they were working right there, and could have saved me a bunch of labor. If they didnt break it themselves, they also didnt notice my airbag sensor was broken when they were working nearby, which is a huge safety issue. I think they get tunnel vision and focus on getting things done fast, not necessarily right.Moderately priced. All in all, they should be called average auto. I wont be back unless i was forced and will encourage others to stay away.

This shop is awesome for its accuracy and honesty, two qualities not often found in the repair industry. My brakes were shot, and Gregg and Jeremy and the crew diagnosed, advised and fixed the problem at a cost that was surprisingly low, very fair terms. It has been two weeks and the car is working great! They even gave me a ride to work and offered to come get me when the work was done. All my work will be done by Best Auto from now on, and I will recommend this shop to all my friends and family, and I work at a car dealership!

I drove in from out of town to buy a car. The whole process is hard to plan out, when you can get a pre purchase inspection. Youre not sure if youll like the car and if you do youre not sure when youll be able to get down to the dealership. Best Auto Longmont worked with me to get me in there and get a vehicle inspected when it worked for me. They put my mind at ease and gave me good advice. If Im ever in the area and need work done on my car I will be going to Best Auto. And it was 60 dollars instead of 100+ that most shops charge. I would recommend checking them out.

Had fairly substantial work done here, and it appears it was all done correctly for the fair quoted cost. Received regular status updates and reasonable (not pushy) suggestions for additional maintenance while the car was apart. Will be taking both my cars here for the foreseeable future.

My AC had quit blowing cold and they quoted me a price for an evacuation and recharge to include diagnosis and told me they would call if there were any issues. I had high expectations and they managed to exceed those expectations!RESPONSE TIME: With my truck abandoned on the side of the road... they responded immediately by sending their tow truck to the rescue and getting all the repairs done in less than the expected time! I got to Best Auto just in time before the real issue turned into a disaster!!!RECOMMENDATIONS: I asked for them to look over the truck... and see what the issue was. They told me what was urgent and what could wait. The way they presented the issues was in a way I could understand and organize priorities. They saved the parts for me to look at and take pictures so I may further dispute other dishonest shops I used, prior to finding Best Auto Repair!CONCLUSION: I ended up with better repair work than the last 5 visits to two other shops... It was more than I expected to get for virtually the same amount of money I was expecting to spend. My invested time was minimal and it was the easiest and smoothest transaction Ive ever had with vehicle repair. I will use Best Auto Repair again and again. There arent many services like Best Auto out there in any industry, much less in the auto-repair industry. And did I mention that the owner Gregg has a wonderful kind and understanding personality? Took my 2001 Toyota Rav 4 in because the brakes were squealing. They checked them out and said they had a bit more life in them before they needed to be replaced. Gave me the choice of having the brakes done then or just keep an eye on them for awhile. How honest is that? Not typically what youd expect from a repair shop. People behind desk very friendly and Mark gave me a ride home to Erie after dropping the car off. Finally a repair shop that understands what integrity and customer service are!

Just had my 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sahara in for a sizable amount of work, i.e. heater core replacement, brakes all around, oil change and lube. Best did a really good job, its pretty tough to be a general mechanic given how much you have to learn about the specifics, especially the heater core replacement. The tech was knowledgable and everything was done very well. I had a little noise in the dash after completion so immediately returned the vehicle, however the tech rode with me and was able to pin point the minor issue immediately, 30 minutes later they called and had it fixed. They also discovered another problem I knew existed and addressed it, i.e. the rear axle seals were both blown. They contacted me to ask me before each addition step to make sure I was on board with them which I appreciate. Im fairly knowledgable about vehicle mechanicals but just dont have the time or the tools to do the work, and Best was spot on.

We brought our Chrysler Town and Country in for what we thought would be a simple A/C fix. It turned into a colossal problem with the power control module and other electrical issues. John and his team went above and beyond to take care of the problem, find a used part to save me money and even took the vehicle to the dealership to make sure the part was properly programmed. I would highly reccomend this locally owned and operated shop.

I have been using the services of Best Auto for 10 years because they do excellent work and they are always honest about what needs to be done and figure the most cost efficient way to make the repairs. I trust them to always do a great job at a fair price.

Took my car in for problem and couldnt affored the service and so i asked to pick it up. They decided that they were going to charge me a fee for lookong at it when that was never agreed to. If i knew they would charge just to look at it i would have taken it to a shop that i knew would look at it for free. Then they told me that they wouldnt even give me my car unless i got all the services done after i told them i couldnt pay for it and could get it done cheaper. I work with cars as a profession and this is really shady. If there was a fee to look at it you should have told me before you took my keys. There was no written or verbal contract.

This shop charged me 90 for diagnostic then wanted 659 for a fuel pump then I went there to look at it they had my car in the shop putting a radiator in it they said they broke it . How that had anything to do with the fuel pump in the tank I dont know but then they called me back and said it would be $1,200 to repair fuel pump and clean the tank . Then I went to look at it and try to put a relay in it and hose was off the intake .The car was not worth much more than 1300 so we took it back they charged 259.00 dollars to take it out of there because they took the tank off . They did not leave the fuel pump bolts with the car . Now I am thinking someone took my idle control valve out of the car because the hose off the intake that was not before and that could explain how they could break the radiator they replaced the radiator but i dont get it at all something wrong here . My opinion is run fast!
