10/19 update - an individual from the corporate office reached out about this review to let me know they would look into making their parts policy more transparent, and to confirm that they do in fact sell the stainless steel hoses. He was able to refund my installation charge, which was nice since I ended up installing the washer and dryer myself after the delivery team got them into my house.Overall, I do want to support local businesses and I really liked how professional the delivery persons and corporate employee were, so if I do have to purchase an appliance again I will check this business first.********Original review*********I moved into a house without a washer and dryer, so immediately I started looking for local stores selling sets. I ordered the set, waited for the company to call and confirm, and was told it would take two weeks for delivery and installation even though both were in stock. That’s fine, and I’m glad I did because the delivery team was very careful about not damaging my house during the process. During the call the sales lady asked about the installation (did I have and old set to move/haul, was I buying parts from them). I told her I would buy parts from Lowe’s because I wanted stainless steel and I had a gift card. At no point did she mention they sold stainless steel (I only saw rubber on their site) or that bring my own parts would cost extra. On the day the installers arrived, they told me it would cost and extra $10 per part for installation, on top of the $89 I paid already. No, that’s not cool. I was never told that on the phone, the website doesn’t say anything about bringing your own parts costing extra, why would I pay another $50 for installation!

Initial delivery was a problem because the oven didnt work and it was the wrong model. When we went to the store to discuss, their first reaction was, We have to fix this. They did. Things can go wrong, its how they are dealt with thats important. The Longmont store corrected the situation with no hesitation and today the model that was delivered is exactly what we wanted. I would recommend them highly.

Its been said that moving house is one of the most traumatic experiences a human being can experience. While I might not take it quite that far, Ill say that moving sucks because of the multitude of details. Like, literally HUNDREDS of things to attend to, and as a new homeowner, Im wishing I could clone myself. One of those details is buying large appliances, and I would rather French kiss a cobra than have to go through that particular gauntlet. However, it must be done.And so, my wife and I steeled ourselves and made the journey to Appliance Factory. We needed a washing machine, dryer, freezer, and two mattresses. We knew it would suck, because how could it not? The selection would be garbage, prices would be insane, and the staff would be absolute horrors.Only we were so very wrong! Once we arrived, Seth answered a gajillion questions with expertise and good humor. He helped us find the best possible deals. When we told him (as were garbage people) that we were on a tight timeline for delivery, Seth and his manager Richard made some adjustments and gave us precisely the delivery date we needed.Seth and Richard made it easy, saved us a considerable sum of money and made it fun. Seriously. Thanks so much to Appliance Factory for making this particular detail a joy.

Kent at the Longmont store was so knowledgeable and helpful. I had a little issue with the refrigerator I purchased and he helped me get it resolved in a reasonable manner. Kent was responsive to my messages and communicated with me while getting my issue resolved. He went out of his way to help me and that kind of service is really rare. I really appreciate his effort!

Terrible experience. Delivered a washer and dryer and did not wait for them to cycle through to see if they worked. Both of them did not work. The washer would start to cycle. Put three squirts of water in and then end the cycle. Leaving our clothes a complete mess. We paid extra to have them delivered to our upstairs. When we called to see if they would come out they gave us a third party vendor to come “repair” the brand new appliances. Even though they were brand new and under warranty the company tried to charge us 95$ to diagnose the machines. After numerous calls to Appliance Factory Outlet and still having a broken washing machine I would not recommend doing business with these crooks. They have not solved my washing machine situation. I had to go to Home Depot and buy a working washing machine just so I could wash my clothes. The right thing to do would be to refund my money. Instead they said they could take the appliances back if I hand delivered them and they would charge me a 900$ restocking fee. Absolutely not the way to do business. Sell me a broken product. Send me to a third party to fix it. And ultimately I still have a broken washing machine. Not ok.

I want to give a shout out to Kristin. I had my mind set on a specific type, size, and style of fridge, and walked in the store to realize it was not in stock. I was frustrated, but Kristin did some research and found a similar fridge with everything I wanted and needed plus more. I picked up a washing machine motor coupler and then a replacement pump. Ben recognized the broken parts I would bring in and knew exactly where they were. This place helps us save so much money and the prices were as good or better than online stores! Parts were OEM, perfect matches for the originals.

Went to Appliance Factory to get a new fridge. Miss Brooke was amazing she was so helpful and took her time with me and did not rush me at all. She answered all my questions. She is super friendly her attitude was the best Ive come across in a long time. She actually wanted to help. She was very delightful. Kent also was helping he is great too. I purchased an out of box washer that was missing a water pump that caused water to leak all over my floor. Seth and Richard were super helpful and turned a horrible experience into a great one. They did everything they could to make it right even though it was not their fault at all and were very kind whenever we spoke. If I need to purchase another appliance I will definitely go through Seth.

This place doesnt even deserve 1 star! Went to this location to buy a refrigerator. Was told by a salesperson by the name of Kent that if we financed the refrigerator, wed get a $100 rebate. Left with paperwork. Went to their location in Denver, bought a more expensive refrigerator, they updated the financing & we got a delivery date. The following week I called about details on the $100 rebate & left a message for Kent. He called back & left a voicemail stating the $100 rebate is being processed & that wed get it in a visa gift card. Its been a month, several messages left for Kent with no return call. Called a manager, spoke to Richard who says we dont offer $100 rebates but Im emailing with Kent who is at the corporate offc. & oh...sorry hes not returning your calls, hes at corporate 4 days a week Kent finally calls back and denies EVERYTHING!! This location is unprofessional, disregards previous promises, and they apparently think women can be taken advantage of. Highly recommend you shop elsewhere for appliances!!

Washer/Dryer set: We selected a new Maytag washer/dryer set not wanting to deal with more used appliances (review at Used Appliance Factory - same building but different business). This brand-new made in Nov 2020 Maytag Washer was not cleaning the clothes and making loud noises but we were outside of our 30 days and so they referred us to Maytag since it was still under the 1 year factory warranty and the repair person came and said the Agitator wasnt connected for some reason like a factory defect and so he fixed it. One week later the washer is making a deafening sound when agitating laundry so obviously the fix didnt work. We have another Maytag repair scheduled for later this week. Family of four with an elderly dog getting very behind on laundry!

Bought an LG washer and a dryer about 8 months apart. Had a very good experience with sales and delivery on the washer that I returned for the dryer when it conked out. Kurt Kisser was our product specialist for the dryer (sorry, cant recall who it was for our washer) and he knew his stuff and was very nice and fun to work with.

Ive purchased two appliances now from AF and have had a great experience both times. The first was a gas range, and I hadnt done a lot of research before visiting the showroom but Cody was very well versed on the models and features and helped me come to a decision that I was very happy with. Installation was great, even with the utilities company kind of screwing up the gas line at first. The installation techs knew just what to do and provided me with helpful info in case I had any issues. Luckily I never did.My more recent purchase was a new dishwasher. Id done my research this time around but still wanted to get a feel for the different Bosch models. I got lucky that the one I wanted had just been ordered from the manufacturer. Some of them are on backorder for a few months (at no fault of AF though, just Covid supply chain madness.) Dawn was very informed and helpful too.

They have such friendly staff here and had exactly what my husband I were looking for. Will be shopping here again!

The longmont Branch was nice enough. The guy in boulder that sold my dishwasher tried to help but I did end up having to get an upgraded version (paying the difference) because what he sold me origionallybjever got delivered. It would have been nice to know that the upgrade was an out of box version with a chip on the front, especially before I got there to pick it up.

I looked this place up after 1 of the rollers failed on my maytag dryer and it said they offered parts on site so i called to inquire, nobody answerd... so i waited a few minutes and called again... no one answerd again but it was a sunday so to even find an apliance store opened was a bit of luck and with it being close i deceded to drive the 10 mins to the storefront.when arrived every employee was busy either on the phone or in person with somone so i walked over to the parts desk where i see a sign that sayswe are open on sundays parts in stock!meanwhile on the desk there is a posted sign with the parts desk hours and it states that they are closed on sundays...so thats frustratingso i wait by the counter where there is 1 employee on the phone with a customer and 2 employees helping 2 seperate customers with a transaction.as i wait there for over 10 mins patiently the employee on the phone finishes and lingers around the desk i assume working on finalizing what the customer on the phone needed help with to see him look at me 3 times and not 1 time ask me if i needed help with anything to then have the phone ring and watch him answer the phone to help that person instead of me who has been waiting patientlyto then finally have another employee ask me what i needed, i explained a part on my dryer has broken and i see the parts counter is closed and he responded with tomorrow 9 oclock literally just like that which i felt was Horrible service.i wont be shopping here just based on what i felt was an unprofessional atmosphere.just in my opinioni even saw a nice mini fridge i was thinking about purchasing while i was walking to the parts desk.i can tell with 100% certainty i am not purchasing it here now due to this

Ordered washer/dryer, assured in stock, paid in full. On day of delivery (1 week later), got a call at 6:30am by installer, saying the washer backordered and call the store for more info when they open. Store said they would investigate and get back to me, I said install today or refund today. Waited 6 hours with no return call, called store back. Told an email just came in saying they found our missing washer. They said they cant deliver until the next Monday (3 more days). Offered $80 refund of delivery charge, I cancelled.Dont think Ill order from AF again.Treated with respect, and other than apparent lack of follow-up on my problem, I appreciate the associates help, but couldnt resolve to my satisfaction. Ill stick to companies I know and trust in the future.

Went in Sunday and purchased a Kitchen set. Jordan and Justin were great. They helped me figure our the type of Refrigerator that best would fit, and got me a discount and a rebate from Kitchenaid. I appreciate them taking the time to help me find the right pieces. At Lowes they told me to pick the items and they would order them, at Appliance Factory they helped me pick pieces that I liked and most importantly would fit.

We bought a used fridge from them and the salesman was awesome n did good. Then the problem came with delivery. They tell you that if they have to remove the fridge doors or the house doors to get it in there will be a $25 fee so we thought that meant if tools were necessary but NOPE they charged me $25 to remove the freezer drawer (french door fridge) and put it on my living room floor so it wouldnt pop open as they moved it in. They did not have 2 use any tools just pulled it off of the tracks and carried it into the house. When I called to question this I was told since they had 2 go above and beyond normal duties they had to charge me. I didnt give them a tip so maybe thats why but watch them and if u can carry it in yourself then do it so they dont charge you for something totally unnecessary like I was

Last year I took the plunge and decided to replace all the major appliances in my kitchen. They were over 30 years old and small things starting to not work. Took a trip to Appliance Factory, ordered a refrigerator, cooktop, double wall oven and dishwasher. All but one was a special order, so the wait began. 2.5 months later, finally got the last one installed. Had a problem with the dishwasher due to faulty installation. Several service appointments later, Appliance Factory made it right by replacing the whole unit. Now my kitchen is complete and Im enjoying all of them. This is a great store, all the people there are very nice and took the time to help me. Ill continue to come here first for my appliance needs.

Worst customer service ever. Young kids working as sales. Promise and Sell you one product and when it comes in it is not what you expected. When we called to ask about it they tell us oh yours was a buy one get one free so you didnt get the one you wanted That is not what we asked for though... Go someplace where you are dealing with individuals who use their brains.

I couldnt find the belt I needed for a dryer anywhere, they had it, and they can order in just about anything.

I purchased a refrigerator 2 months ago and 3 days before they were supposed to deliver it, they informed me that they sold my fridge to someone else. I had to switch models and didnt receive the fridge in time for my movers the move it to my new house. I was very disappointed in the whole process.

We walked into Appliance Factory Outlet not exactly sure what we wanted, but quite sure that we needed to replace our broken stove, which led us to wondering if we might also replace our 15 year-old refrigerator. Brian Hansen greeted us and listened to what we were thinking - he first pointed us in the direction of a high quality, budget-friendly stove and offered the option of simply replacing the broken stove. As the day progressed (yes, the day! We were there ALL DAY!), we started to branch out and consider a multitude of options for what we might purchase. Brian literally worked through his lunch and only took a break when we left to grab food and mull over our options. Upon our return to the store, we continued to ask a million questions and weigh our options. Needless to say, we didnt make a decision that day...or the next. After reading consumer reviews and compare shopping at other retailers, we headed back to Appliance Factory Outlet to finalize a purchase through Brian. We left with an entire kitchen suite with which we are completely satisfied! At no point did Brian push or make us feel pressured to make a purchase - in fact, he encouraged us to take our time and only buy what worked for us! Brian was incredibly patient even after the sale when we contacted him to change which model of dishwasher we wanted and had questions about some of the parts that came with our microwave/convection oven.The bottom line? We got exactly what we wanted, paid the lowest price around, and had a wonderful customer service experience.

Response to Manager, Mr. Graham: The letter may have been drafted on 1/24, but it was not stamped until 2/12, and it wasnt postmarked until 2/13. Furthermore, 1/24 was either the day they called me or the day after. I told them I thought I had paid for it on a separate transaction but needed to check my credit card to verify. I verified with my credit cards the following Saturday 1/26 and came in to pay my bill. The threat letter should never have been sent. Your company did not even have legal grounds to sue (or make threat of suit) by the time the letter was sent. A threat is a threat. Just because it came from an attorney doesnt make any less of a threat, and its only legal if the party making the threat has legal rights to follow through. Be careful how you treat people. Ive worked in collections, and even when someone doesnt want to pay their bill, you will still get further with kindness than threats.P.S. I was planning to take my post down today after the call I received earlier this week apologizing, and I appreciate your apology as well, but I will leave this up for at least another week to make sure the issue the dates are clear.Threatened to sue me for a bill I paid. They had their attorney send me a threat letter dated 2/12 even after I paid the $325.52 bill in question on 1/26 by credit card in the store. I came in and paid the bill the weekend after they called to notify me of the error. Now they want to sue me for 3 times the amount? Good luck. Fortunately I CAN afford an attorney, and I will not be bullied. I have never been so insulted in my life. I am an accountant with excellent credit, and I always pay what I owe. This company does not know how to treat its customers. I will never purchase anything from this store again.
