Repair went great. Minimal complaint of turn around time for service. However, walked-in and staff was knowledgeable and sold me appropriate parts without costing me a fortune.
Velo Pacific is always friendly and always is my go-to for parts and supplies that most other bike shops have never heard of, letalone carry. The people there are true riders and do it because they love cycling. Thanks!
Awful customer service. Went in ready and excited to buy a bike, as a novice I was looking for some guidance and got absolutely zero. After browsing the store for about 5 minutes I picked up one of the bikes I was interested in, which is when one of the guys finally walked over said it was reserved for someone else and I shouldn’t be touching it, didn’t offer to show me something similar just took it off my hands. Probably should have left at that point. Thought maybe the guy was having a bad day so I politely asked the questions I could based on the research I did prior. When I asked if there was anything similar I could take a look at, the guy said all similar bikes were out of stock and I probably would’t find anything until August (it’s June), didn’t bother showing me any other bikes. After he walked back to sit behind the counter, I walked over and asked if he could jot down the name of the bike. He wrote the make/model (Cannondale / Quick) but no series, style, or size, just awful. I’ll happily take my business elsewhere.
Do not waste your time at this place. I left my bike for a simple repair. They told me it would be ready in 4-5 days. 42 days later I still did not have my bike. Forty two days!I had spoken to them 5 times in those 42 days. Each time given a different story as to why and an apology. On day 42 I called and was told by the mechanic, not the sales person this time, that they had never ordered the part, they were waiting for manager approval.I spoke with the manager who lied. Told me they had ordered the part. Then later said they had not ordered the part but would today. I asked him to clarify if he had ordered or not ordered the part as his statement was conflicting. When he realized he had been caught in a lie he started yelling and swearing at me on the phone. The manager told me I better come pick up my Fing bike in the next few minutes or something else which I could not hear because of his volume.The manager of the stored screamed at me because they had not ordered the part after they had the bike for 7 weeks.I came by, picked up my bike and took it to a shop in Garden Grove. My bike was fixed in an hour.I went half the summer without my bike because the management is incompetent. 42 days and they had not ever ordered the part. What might be even worse was his condescending attitude and decision to swear at me and make random excuses for his ineptness.There are much better shops around. Dont go here.I will see the actual bike mechanic that I spoke to seemed like a very nice guy. I am sorry he has to work with that person as his manager.
Terrible customer service. The two workers that were there had a condescending attitude and behaved as if I wasnt worth any of their time. I went in looking for a road bike; I told them that I just started getting into biking and was on a very tight budget, looking for one under 500. It seemed as soon as I said that, I might as well have been an insect on the floor by the way they treated me. One of the two workers quickly mentioned that there were no new bikes in that range, and that was only used bike territory(Not True). After that, he said I could buy a used bike and bring it in there to fix it up(Not Going To Happen). So, I said actually my neighbor gave me an old Specialized carbon fiber bike thats about 25 years old, but that I have concerns about the integrity of the carbon fiber after all these years. He briefly said as long as its not compromised its good. And, that was the last thing that either of them said to me as they began to have a conversation in front of me about something completely different. So, I started to leave and I said bye, have a good one. Neither of them looked up nor did they say anything else to me. I would not recommend this place to anyone. One word. Snobs.
I took a bike to this establishment on Monday to tweak it and finish putting it together so I walk with a receipt on the receipt it says to put together a boxed bike they charge me $60 so I research in went to different shops and theyre charging me $30 for a childs bike...when I went to the shop today to pick the bike up I explained to them that this receipt says a Box bike to put together you dont have to put the bike together the bike is already together all you need to do is tweak the bike well I did not get any different response.. everyone in their came at me with this negative attitude about these high overpriced pricing for a child 10 bike this shop is over price its a rip off at the end of the day a rip off and dont think the employees are nice theyre not polite at all🤮🤮
I stopped by for a quick check on my tire pressure and Jacob, the store manager, was extremely helpful. I think I have found the shop Ive been looking for.

We were waiting around for one sales associate to finish with his customer while 2 other workers were in the back who saw us but didnt ask if we needed help. We were waiting a bit because we were interested in one particular bike which we were probably going to purchase the same day. I asked the associate we were waiting for if I could use the restroom and he said yes. As soon as I walk to the back the two other associates say I cant use the restroom. One associate gave me a hard look down with disgust and gave me a stern, we just cleaned it and you cant use it. What kind of customer service is that? Dont go here! The owner is racist!
I went here to look for shims/spacer for my bb30. I wanted to fix my bike soon. A guy helped me and gave me the shims. As I was about to pay, they said its free, those are extra parts, he expressed. So I felt bad taking it, I just bought some cycling food from them. Thank you Velo Pacific
Second time Ive arrived right at opening hours (9am) and doors are still closed at 9:20am. The cover photo on the website says it all - men peeing on a fence. Ladies, unless you are desperate (like I am now and Im about to go somewhere else) this is a mens cycling shop. They have absolutely no clothing for women and the basic service needs cannot be met.
If you are on a Euro team might get respect. We purchased two bikes for my son, BMC and Bianchi BUT they are not interested in helping with maintenance. Just a snobby attitude.

I was first introduced to the owner Leonard while I was riding with a friend of mine. Now my friend is a very experienced rider and Im still pretty new, Leonard hung back with me on most the ride while I was nearly dead and we had an awesome chat. Unfortunately Im from down in Orange County so it made it difficult to actually come up to the shop until recently, and Ive gotta say, Im glad I did! If youre looking for big name, badass gear, hes your man. The shop is clean, has tons of beautiful bikes and gear to drool over and a welcoming atmosphere. Professional, knowledgeable and super friendly. I cant recommend Velo Pacific enough.

Walked in ready to buy a $2,400 bike and was not alowed to take it for a test spin. I was treated like a criminal even after I offered my I.D. A week before a middle aged guy told me to come in a test ride no problem. Second time I went in it was a cocky kid with huge holes in his ear and he said they never do that. Ill never go back.

I dropped my bike off for service and they told me it would be ready at 5pm. Asked what time they closed and they told me 7pm. I told them I would be there between 6 and 7. He told me no problem. I arrived at 6:15pm and the door was locked and the lights were out. Not a great way to run a business!
Dropped my bike off to ship on March 30th. The original estimate was to pack and ship today or tomorrow at the latest. Ended up getting shipped out on April 9th after my 3rd time checking in. I was told on my final call that it was definitely shipped out last week even though the shipping label hadnt shown it was shipped. I received the confirmation it was picked up on Monday the 9th even after I was told it was picked up last week on Wednesday. I would have been content if at any point during one the calls I was told it hadnt been picked up and it would have been taken care of asap.
