Theres a new owner, Ted. Matt helped me. This is my 1sr time here. I went in for a bike tune-up. It has been a couple of years since I rode my bike. My tires were flat and `who knows what else was wrong. I was quoted a fair price, went home and got a call only 1 HOUR later that my bike was ready!!Nothing needed to be replaced. Matt checked the gears, brakes and everything in between. The bill was EXACTLY what Matt quoted me. The best part is that I rode my bike the 3 miles home and everything was PERFECT! I HIGHLY recommended!!

Nicely done!Was in need of a new bicycle helmet. And this shop was just the place. Small and stuffed to its gills with inventory, bikes, parts, and bits. Jeremiah was quite helpful and I quickly got what I needed. I left a happy customer and will be back for more of my bicycling needs.

I went to find a bike shop that was open on a Sunday. I needed a intertertube so I googled bike shops and I found Lakewood cyclery. The owner was very friendly and the service was great. I will be back.

I took my daughters bike to get a tune up prior to her heading off to college. As soon as I brought the bike in the owner began examining it. After about 10 minutes of checking, tires, brakes and gears he told me the bike was in perfect shape and I didnt need to pay anyone for a tune up. It is RARE to find a business that wouldnt have just taken the bike and done a service and charged me. I just found a bike shop I will use from now on and recommend to all my friends!

Wonderful transaction. Got a nicevintage road bike at a great bargain. Would gladly recommend to a friend. I’ll go back for tune ups but I doubt I’ll have to go back for a bike as this one should last a lifetime.

The worst retail experience Ive had in 30 or 40 years. I bought two new tires and tubes. The next day they were both flat.. I had to reload the bike and return the 13 miles to the shop.The owner yelled at the emplo6who told me the wrong size tubes had been installed. That he should never tell a customer that anything was ever their fault. Then he yelled at me not to spray to any of his employees. The first day the owner told 4 customers that if theyd leave favorable reviews on Google, he would pay their sales tax. RUN THE OTHER WAY FRIM THIS BUSINESS !

Had a terrible experience over at Jax bikes around the corner. Bought a brand new chain and they refused to help me put it on even though I had just spent $200 there. Decided to go here to see if they did maintenance, and within minutes Shaggy put my chain on without issue. Jax needs to take some notes on customer service from these guys. I will be going through Lakewood Cyclery for all future bike needs, Jax isn’t worth the headache or the cost!

Came here to rent a bycicle for a weekend trip to Death Valley. Had everything checked and adjusted. Im a visitor in the area so dont have any tools. Guys were so helpful that provided me some tools and spare tubes to make sure I will not stuck in a desert with a flat tire.

Took bike in for brake pad rubbing on rear wheel and was told to pick it up in two days. Two weeks later, after returning it several times ...the gears and pedals are jammed up and bike is completely inoperable. And one of the new tires I was talked into purchasing has a hole in the inner tube. Shop owners diagnosis of what when wrong during their tune-up.... “Your bike has multiple personalities!!”Watch out. This guy does business under multiple aliases too.

Came into the the Lakewood Cyclery on St. Patricks Day and boy did I ever have a lot of luck! Such great service, tons of experience, and a variety of used bikes that are in great condition. A friendly place too...Ill be back to do more business!

I called to ask for a tune up cost. A kind of a young male person answered but we had a bad signal. I said I have a bad connection. I cannot hear you. I called you right back. I hanged up and called back like 5 seconds later. Now, another male like more mature answered. This person said “You just called” and disconnected the call. WOW!!

Ben, this is the man who sold my brothers Schwinn world tour 1985.I adopted it and became a very accustomed to this bike and still to this day own it and the only man who works on this bike is Ben. he very human, kind hearted, and honest. i will always have a place in my life for this man, my bike saved me from so many bad times growing up and he was the guy who kept things going for me.trust in this shop, drive for miles to see this man, he is a friend when you open his door and you will purchase a bike that will last you 22 years and more.all his parts are genuine, the parts he replaced have out lasted the factory parts, so take that...

The only business licence listed to do business at this address 4313 E. Carson St. is Bicycle Works USA Inc. The owner Jeremiah Plummer totally ripped me off and lied to me. He cant even be honest with his company name. This is just Google spam, listing a business under numerous different names. The owner is a is a total lying dirtbag!

The staff here was very friendly and quick too help, the helped me in a emergency by giving me a great price on an inner tube.

Went to get my bike repaired and they are really quick and had me out of there in no time.

The guys name is Ben and he seems to be into the Zen of fixing bicycles. He isnt about making a lot of money. I have been going to him for years and sometimes he doesnt even charge me. If he thinks you can get a better deal elsewhere he will tell you- he isnt about ripping people off. He has fixed my bike many times and if something isnt right I return and he will repair it free of charge until it meets your satisfaction. I like Ben and would recommend him. (His shop is a little messy and full of old bikes, frames and parts but honestly, that doesnt bother me at all.

One word, horrific. Ive been there twice. Someone needs to relieve this man of his shop, hes about 84 no added helpers, its a HUGE chore to get a tube changed. Yes I mean HUGE. He has various friends that jump in. One time I was biking on the Carson path walked to him for a flat, he sold me a used tire and new tube for 20 bux, special price. Obviously I did it because I wanted to finish my ride. But, caution. This guy is senile. Poor service - its more of a bike graveyard folks...

Hes an older gentleman who works for cheap. If you are on a budget and not riding your bike 100 miles a day come here for simples fixes.
