Dr Zemke is by far the best ophthalmologist Ive ever had. Hes easy going, ebay and has a great sense of humor which put me at ease from the first time I ever went. I tend to ask a lot of questions and hes always got the time to explain things to me. Ive recommend him to do many people.Everyone that works here are nice and professional. Shout out to Haley the MA that made my day with her sweet demeanor when I was nervous the other day as well.

If you have a low prescription and dont require a lot of frame selection options you will be fine here. I require a very strong prescription, very specific small round frames, and need multiple adjustments to get things exactly right. They didnt have any frames that met my needs, I tried a few different things that all came up short. They basically told me they were done with me because they didnt want to lose money. I doubt theyll do it to you, but I must give 1 star for my personal experience. Everyone was very nice. Now I must wait until next year to process again with my insurance. Dont let it happen to you.

I started going to Insight when my office was nearby. Now that I live and work halfway across town I still go there. They seem to be the only folks who can nail my progressive lenses. The level of service is great across the board and everyone there is helpful and awesome.

This is not the same clinic that I went to years ago. I noticed a big change with service which I assume is change in ownership. I had trouble with the glasses that I was given. There was no discussion about no line bifocals or other options except reverting back to my old perscription. They sent my glasses back and I havent heard from them since. They acted extremely annoyed with me for not just taking the glasses and would not listen to my concerns about not being able to wear that perscription the way it was. I am a nurse and the last thing I want to do in a patients room or OR is constantly put on and take off glasses. The stars are for the front staff they are very friendly.

My health care provider recommended that I come see the doctor at Insight because she couldnt see why my eye felt like something was in it causing me discomfort. I am here to tell you this was the best advise and recommendation. The doctor found my problem immediately fixed it. She also found my prescription glasses to be way off no wonder my vision has been so blurry. I will be coming back here for all my eye exams. I

Super nice front desk people, super nice staff in general, not to mention Im prone to passing out after getting my eyes dilated due to the blurryness and they were super understanding about it. They have pretty pricy sunglasses but it seems like most insurances cover a good chunk of that.

My girls and I love this eyecare center, weve been coming here for almost 10 years. We miss Dr. Crockett, but the doctors who have taken his place are amazing and always make us feel at ease.

No other doctor, who uses medicaid, has ever done as much extensive work as Insight did today. I felt totally confident with how they looked deeply in the eyes to gather what could be wrong. And had a very good explanation of everything they saw. I am very pleased with this group!!

First visit for myself and my husband. Receptionist was a little unfriendly, at first, wasnt sure if it was because we hadnt completed out paperwork ahead of time. (We did arrive early enough to complete before appointment time) but she seemed to warm up as time went on.Found Dr Larsen to be friendly and very thorough. We both felt that he wasnt rushing us and listened well to our concerns. Best eye exam that I have ever had and will be back.Had to order glasses and was surprised to find the frames and lenses carry a 2 year warranty.

Dr. Zemke is the best! He is to the point and honest with you about how your eyes are doing. I have been going to insight eyecare for several years now and couldnt imagine going anywhere else!

Great, thorough practice. They dont rush through appointments and explain important aspects of vision and correction.

I would like to suggest that the yellow lines in the parking lot be given a fresh coat of paint this year. I found that either the lines are barely visible to the drivers, or that many of the patients need new glasses.

I highly recommend Dr. Rose Shimanova for both adults and children. She is wonderful! The rest of the staff is so helpful and friendly as well. I thoroughly recommend this eye care facility.

I wanted to take a moment to write a review complimenting and thanking the people at Insight Eye Care for all theyve consistently done to take care of my eyes. I have gone there for exams for years because I tried other places in the past, and none compare to IEC. I appreciated this past weekend after a very concerning issue with my vision and the compassion that Kerri had for me was genuine. She got me in to see the doc on a moments notice.. She did not only got me in quickly, but afterward also helped correct a clerical error that I didnt even realize happened. :) Thank you Kerri. Gigi also helped out a ton!! These two ladies had a lot to do, and still went above and beyond to take care of me efficiently even after my appointment was over. The optometrist I forgot his name unfortunantly, but he wanted to be very thorough and did all he could to find out what was going on inside my eye all the haziness and light sensitivity and took extra measures on my behalf. I really appreciate all you do. I also love Dr. Shimonova, and Dr,. Zeimke also for doing the best of the best. Thank you!!!!!

The staff were great! I have an odd shaped head and glasses make me look rediculous, but they took the time to have me try on over 20 pairs of glasses until we found something that was not terrible. I ended up buying glasses and contacts. They were way more patient than I felt with the whole process. I also felt that the optometrist was thorough and friendly. A+ from me.

Does not care about customer. Received substandard quality of care.I came in to get an updated contacts prescription in case they changed (I normally wear glasses but need contacts for rafting). In the past, my last optometrist would talk with my about different brands, what most of their patients liked, and my options. I would take home at least one trial, but often two to try each and make my mind up about what worked best for me.This optometrist wanted to start with one brand that was a cheaper option - Acuvue Comfort Plus dailies vs what I had used before - Oasys dailies and Daily Total Ones. I only wear contacts a few times a month. All I care about is the comfort level. I dont mind if they cost 30% more per pair.They resulted in significantly more eye strain and dry eyes.I called to ask if I could have my prescription changed to Oasys, and the optometrist refused unless I made another appointment. They could have said to come by for a sample first, but they wanted several hundred dollars each time I came in to try a single different brand.I could not recommend this place less. I will not go back and I will be posting this in other places to help warn others. This optometrist does not try to provide care, they just try to make as much money as possible while providing the bare minimum to increase the number of appointments you have to make.Many of my family members are doctors. After talking with them they were all surprised at this interaction.

Called to order contact lenses for my husband. He apparently had 2 different prescriptions. I didnt know that. The price seemed really high. When I asked why so much I was told thats how much they are. She didnt seem it was worth telling me I was ordering the wrong ones. And of course we couldnt exchange them. Paid almost 100 more then I should of.

Dr. Alex Zemke is great, I highly recommend! I have not been wearing contacts for a year because of a misdiagnosis in prescription from a previous eye doctor. Dr. Zemke got me on the right contact lense prescription and I have not had to wear my glasses since!

At my first exam the physician assistant had to come back into the room to double check to see if he placed eyedrops into my eyes. I go through the normal eye exam process and than I am given a pair of contacts to try out. I place them into my eyes and I cannot really see out of my left all that well and so the Dr.Shimonova increased the strength, which it is still blurry. I am told it is because my eyes were still dialed and it should go away in a little while.SO, I head over to the place where I get my glasses and proceed to order some glasses. I am thankful that they pulled up my old prescription and made a comment about how much better my eyes have gotten. I am curious and so ask them to show my my old prescription and than realize that something is not correct. I call the eye doctor and request a second opinion and get an appointment with a new doctor Dr. Lundien. Well come to find out the assistant (same guy who forgot if he gave me eye drops) had misread the glasses. My glasses are a -5.50 and a -5.00 and he somehow managed to get a reading of like -2.50 and -3.00. Moving forward I can hear while sitting in the exam room, the physician assistant explaining to Dr. Lundien what is going on (totally trying to cover is mistake) and I am just waiting. The new doctor does the exam and gives me a new prescription (OD 4-00 and OS 4-25) that I than go and fill at the eye glass store. In the mean time I am trying to fill my contact prescription and I have to call back over to Insight Eyecare because my contact script is not correct and was missing information needed to order them online. So this is now the 3rd mistake they have made in dealing with my prescription I come in for 3rd time with Dr. Shimonova and she acts as all is well and did not acknowledge there were mistakes made.I finally get my glasses once the perspiration is finalized and get the glasses ordered. After they come in I try them on and immediately knew they were not correct because I was not able to see things I once was.I finally call insurance company and they allow me to see another doctor. I went to this doctor today and have finally received a correct prescription and correct contact lenses that allow me to see clearly and sharply.I am not sure why the ball was dropped so many times here at Insight Eyecare; however, I am now out $90 that I basically just gave to this office for wasting my time.I will state I do not mind paying the $25 for the Retinal screening; however, I do feel I should be reimbursed the $20 co-pay and the $45 CL-Fitting and EvaluationI would NOT recommend Insight Eyecare to anybody unless you want an incorrect script and to waste your time.
