The very worst example of customer service EVER! The manager is not truthful and after having my glasses re-made twice, they still were not right and had to be re-made again.The store is miles from my office and home, and I took off of work to get there within the posted hours and found a sign saying back at 11:00. I walked around the store until 11:00 only to find that the sign had been changed to say back at 11:15. There were 3 other customers waiting as well.There was absolutely no sense of urgency or help from the manager, and she pushed aside someone else that was trying to help and make sense of what had been done. She was giving me information that the manager obviously didnt want me to know.....Now after being back in the store on the 10th of July to get them re-made, I find that she didnt even order the re-make until 3 days laterI placed my order and paid in APRIL. Today is the 22nd of JULY!I am without glasses except for a very outdated prescription.I used JC Penney Optical because I could pay with my card and there was a 2 for 1 promotion. What a mistake....
In 2016 (I believe it was 2016) I went and saw dr. Wismann when I was having eye issues and was causing me to have nausea and anxiety. I felt awful. He explained my astigmatism to me and made me understand why I was having issues. He got me my new prescription and helped me out greatly. I really appreciated it and always wanted to thank him for explaining so clearly to me about my vision. Friendly staff too.
